I just discovered Suno AI and I'm simply amazed what it can do.
To test it out I decided to generate a rock song about vietnam using chat GPT for lyrics. The goal being making it something akin to 1960s to 70s rock. I kinda mushed it together afterward pretty badly, but I really liked the result. I found it really catchy.

I may redo the first song I ever made with Suno, this was with V1 so I had to cut and paste sections of the song. now I can redo it properly.

My first track entirely made with Suno AI. It took me about 50 generations to be satisfied with all the sounds, but I'm happy with the result. There is a lot of cut and paste work involved (until I almost went cross-eyed) because I've 'sampled' many sounds. It tells the story between computer and human, and both get their own share in this song.

My issue with the second one is Chirp for whatever reason suddenly decided it was done and so it faded it. Nothing I've tried can bring it back.

My style was cinematic French House, tropical house, catchy hook

my starting point before the lyrics was:

[Intro] [drum machine] [trumpet] [melodic instrumental]

But that style was chosen after trying and rejecting Dramatic Italian House and a few other trial and errors until I heard that sound and jumped on it.

Argh. I think I've run into that a few times. What I think is happening is you have a buffer from previous stuff in the system somewhere and it's trying to do that stuff as instrumentals sometimes. Because I've had it refuse to add stuff and since it didn't finish in the clip I'll go ahead and move on changing stuff only for it to pop back in somewhere I didn't expect.

never put the outro in the first chirp, if it fades out to nothing, redo it so it has some vocals still left
