I also have my own AI processes that I've been developing on my own (all opensource models, and then finetuning from there) to help add an extra little oomph to the creative process.
But a long way to go yet. Obviously there's only so much you can do with the distorted vocals / splitting the music, etc.
Would be SOOOO dope (in the future, obviously) to have this actually spit out stems. I know that would probably mean you'd need to build another model for those stemmed outputs, but MANNNN that would be sick.

I generated the original vocals and instrumentals with chirp, then use a series of pretrained models for separating vocals, removing reverb, cleaning up, etc. Then did the voice swap with a S2S model on hugging face with models trained on those singers. Then I pieced it all back together in audacity. With chrip you don't need a base vocal from a human to make an AI song now. So music can be 100% synthetic. Eventually people will figure this out and it will change the music industry at scale.
The quality depends on the clarity of the chirp generation... If I can get really clear vocals it would be near identical to the target artist voice.

if you want this -- one thing to try for this model version -- we've noticed if you keep genre/style pretty simple that can result in clearer stuff more often than a longer style prompt. Something as simple as "country guitar" or "bluegrass" or "folk" or "punk rock" can do pretty well

Awesome advice. This could prove very helpful. I have to take the opportunity to say that I've been in the "voice modeling" space for a while. I think I was in this Discord on day one when Bark was first released.
My interest was piqued by the novelty of the outputs from Bark and its unique approach. However, I must admit that I initially wrote it off as an interesting proof of concept.
With Chirp V1, you've really captured something amazing. Well done! I appreciate the attention to detail, not just in the model itself, but also in the user experience, similar to that famous renowned image generation platform we know. it is a copyright issue; hence, most oversea vietnamese not willing to get into trouble whereas they can get away with northern accent dub. I have access to all of the TVB movies from the 2000s with southern accent. Let's work together as I am new with this.

I don't understand, what copyright issue??? An accent can't be copyrighted, surely? They could've re-dubbed it with different voice actors. And using movies is really not necessary, and wouldn't work very well either. Nowhere near enough clean data anyways. I just don't get why even all the text to speech in vietnamese is only one accent. Don't need movies for that though, my friends, neighbors, pretty much 90% of the people at the local farmers market all speak USLT Vietnamese and we can just band together and talk into a good microphone for hours. I just don't understand why all vietnamese text to speech out there is a certain way, that's all. You'd expect there to be more variety. English has scottish, british, indian accents for example. German even.
But yeah I don't have time for any of that anyways. If the suno team would like to add vietnamese to the languages supported though, maybe find some willing participants? Alot of people would like that.... I mean get paid for talking for hours into a microphone

Yes. Once you have your first 40 seconds, you can just continue with one of these:
you have to click the "continue 1" if you like to continue the 1 clip, or "continue 2" if you want to continue the second clip.

Yes, I do exactly that: I just let the same genre and hope the rythm to be the same. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

exactly, got in the server when it was just bark, trying to create raps using the /poem command, took me a good minute to understand how it works once chirp came out. Luckily it was free for a few months so got alot of time with it
