It could have a little bit of that effect, if you barley change the prompt, I'm not actually sure. but in general it's not the path to have a consistent effecst, it's not very related. Just make sure you save 'every npz' the npz files, are what you want.
The seed for sure does not change the chance of digging up a voice from WW2, for example. It just means if you use that seed, the same prompt, you will get... the same WW2 voice!

If anything trying to use the seed like this will be misleading, you mgiht think the voice is more stable than it realy is.

You might be 'locking in' a bunch of lucky samples with the seed. But a good voice is reliable no matter the seed. That's what you want.
The seed is also slower in my code, though it's because I made it also seed the fine model. If you seed just the first two it's not much slower. Something I should also offer, probably.
TLDR I would basically just ignore seed, leave it on 0. I think it will only send you down misleading paths for what you want, to be honest.
It has some reasons to use it, but not that.
If you are trying to make one single 14s sample maybe... but actually I need to check it's been awhile. I feel like it would diverge immediately but maybe not, if you found it works in that case, with small prompt tweaks. But the main thing is it would 100% not help the NEXT 14s sample.
I can imagine a way of using seeds a bit more like you imagine they work, locking in the first bit of some audio clips in different ways maybe. Still not a great method I think though.

Trying voice blending/hybrids. This is a morgan freeman + mystery voice blend, came out perfect IMO, but the actual npz is 99/100 useless maximum bark crazy mode, but this one sample came perfect. You just unrelated voices. And when it IS stable it's only when the voice is wrong. It's like two generations removed from og clones, and yet still out of control.
I'll still probably add a blend feature but just call it something else. Off the rails mode.

I heard some v2 samples that sounded really good, however it's hard to know if they were cherry picked. I think the API has a slider for style or expressiveness the Web UI doesn't have, can you try some via that, where you turn that all the way to max? I heard some with that, that were okay. But as mentioned, hard to know if they were super cherry picked.
Is it open beta, I may as well sign up.

I think audiocraft is good but the base model is a bit dry and boring. but eventually it will be retrained or fine-tuned better and be really great, I think.
They trained it on just stock music, vocals stripped. So it's already kind of missing a big part of the music. then they only used the tags. So the language part of it, is super basic. Adjectives, bpm, genres, instruments. They didn't even leave song titles in the training data. So it's hard to prompt, except in the most boring literal direct ways.
But the raw audio quality... is pretty epic.
But it has nothing of the bill and ted's feel. Also I LOVE YOUR QUOTE.
I have repeated that dialing bill and ted quote like 4 times. It's so perfect. Poetry.

I've had some audio samples that just truly feel like that. It's got a crazy realness to it, it truly feels like eavesdropping. These are not good voices, or even usable at all, typically they are 'failures' of Bark. But so cool in their own wya.
Have you tried using the voice cloner in random music, and then trying to speak with the voices? It's a good way to get some stuff you almost never hear out of Bark, with pure text prompts. Literally clone music with no words, even chiptunes. You wont' get chiptunes, but when you try speak with those .npzs, it's a maximum bil and ted effect, sometimes they sing also.

Super confusing I know. I just happened to copy and paste the help text from my Bark UI, when testing a feature. So that's why it says that, even though that's not what that clip actually is.
All 3 samples in that clip are from the same .npz, same text prompt.

Yeah somebody asked me about a Jade like voice, that was more clear, so I checked it out. It was a pretty unique Bark voice. Then partway through realized that prompting Bark like that meditation instructions just crank out Jades. I think I typed this yesterday, but feels like I keep underestimating just how powerful really good text prompts are for summoning a specific voice. That and trying childhood rhymes which finally summon some children voices out of Bark. They were so rare, with the text I usually prompt.

No it works, I just have way too many weird experiments going on so I forgot how to generate normally. For sure it is real weird, using pure regular sentences in prompt still gives you all kinds of craziness. All samples identical prompt, identical sampling settings, identical .npz file. All crazy different. And that's the first 5 of like 8 samples. (The other 3 are mostly noise.) Try the .npz linked below, I think the other one was wrong.

It's pretty fun! I've generated about 250 voices or so, but the real gems are somewhat rare in hit rate. One time I got a nearly perfect southern accent, but it proved to be inconsistent in long form. And out of all those generations, I only managed one that sounded something like an Irish accent. But overall the quality and variety from this model is incredible.

It will possibly go up to 30 seconds. With the lyrics, I edited them all in order. I did the first two lyric line sections and I went up to the outro. I then added all the clips together in order to get this longer version.

If you click on the continue ⏩ button on the 30 second clip, you can add more lyrics, and add up to 20 more seconds. You can keep doing this over and over again, though the music style, genre, and melody usually floats around a lot. (Often in a really interesting way.) Then if you click the heart button on the last clip, the bot will make a version with all the clips as one long song. That can take awhile to process, if it's a lot of clips.

There's just enough non randomness in Bark word-salad hallucinations to make it feel a bit like a text LLM talking back to you, sometimes. I think some text prompts are just really strongly associated with styles, and the generations are seperate, but not 100% on that. You could test it with a branch new /chirp and compare.

In Bark, some prompts are very consistent with text prompts. If you set a random voice and prompt:
Listen to my soothing, relaxing voice. Breathe calmly in, and out. Slowly close your eyes. Continue to breathe at this slow pace. Feel the air expand your lungs with each in breath.
You get very similar voices, even though it's random. Calm female voices, usually.

made with Suno + gpt-3.5-turbo. the llm splits the text and adds more context using a pretext prompting/clean prompting for bark . soo powerful also i had chatgpt invent like 50-60 new potential bark sounds. did not try them but working on that now 🙂 super amazing results. I purely use discord sorry. The voices I used in Jan 3 are Tom (anchor) and Gary Youngman as sports. In the other ones i used Tom as (anchor) and Prince perry for the other voices.

Yeah I went into mid Journey and gave it a prompt then I took that prompt to Gen 2 after I upscaled it I took a couple clips and played each clip forward and then backward and then connect them and then chain those together then wav2lip oh but you have to remove the vocals from the beat or else the sounds from the beat make the mouth move so you have to separate that
