I'd suspect the 100% audio influence combined with inspo to be be causing that. The default audio influence is 25%, as this is increased it's forcing the model to pay more attention to the influences, and at some point (even below 100%) it can be just too much for the model to handle well.

Combining this with the 100% style influence means the model is also being forced at maximum strength in a different direction at the same time.

Then with the lower weirdness the model is given less freedom to be creative. So it's just trying to doing what it can with the provided settings.

Generally with sliders it's best to start with the defaults and make small adjustments if the defaults aren't quite giving you the results you want.

I've seen a lot of posts on reddit about Suno issue and slider settings really don't seem to have been the cause though. I agree with making small adjustments but it's generally necessary to set the style slider above 50% to ensure the model honors your requests in the style box, at 50% you are fighting with the musical style the model thinks your lyrics suggest

ive had the 7:59 problem off and on for months now. It comes and goes. Sliders. no sliders. whatever the settings. I'm covering a track and using it as a guide to keep the track sort of consistant while getting vocal performances. It usually doesnt do that when using a guide track. I just got two that were 6:45 with the same bug too. I dont know what's going on with their back end, but I haven't seen them address the problem yet on here, and I've been coming here for months, hoping they say they're fixing it and have a solution.

I’m getting a copyright false positive in v5.5 while trying to remaster a song that was originally generated in Suno itself.

The lyrics are from “L’Invitation au voyage” by Charles Baudelaire, which is public domain.

The original version was successfully created previously in Suno, but now the remaster / cover workflow blocks generation with:
“Your lyrics contain copyrighted material.”

It seems the newer moderation system may be flagging famous public domain literature as copyrighted content.

I can reproduce it consistently when using the full original text.

I actually logged on to ask if there was any feedback on the issue I reported yesterday about existing audio uploads being re-encoded at a lower quality. This is really unhelpful for all of us who do offline remastering/tweaking. Also new audio uploads are always 20Khz in and a quieter 17Khz out. Is there any way to actually upload audio without the frequency being degraded? Suno gens are usually 20Khz so it would be good if audio uploads also were. I'm assuming I'm allowed to ask this as it does seem to be a bug?

Surely the tracks are encoded on first upload though, One example was a track from January, I downloaded after uploading to check the volume levels were correct (seems Suno likes +/- 24000) and it was 20Khz. I re-downloaded the same track yesterday and the max frequency was 17 Khz and the range was down to +/- 16000. Obviously the track doesn't now sound as good as when it was first uploaded

When I select the option to pin a new song (on profile), it says I have 5, but it only shows two when I scroll through the pinned songs. Is that a bug or a layout change? Also... I have to say I really really don't like the change where it now only shows one pinned song and you have to hit the arrow to scroll through them. I preferred when it showed all of them at one time.

Can you confirm that WAV's are compressed by the upload process? It seems the compression happens at this step and what I'm seeing is the system re-encoding them at a later date, but I could be wrong here. It seems strange that they would be compressed a few hours/days/weeks after the initial upload. Also as custom models require audio uploads then surely this would degrade the training?

Songs preview during generation arbitrarily stops and begins the song again while listening, it stops and begins the same song again, happens > does not happen .

No real repeatability, beyond it usually occurs the earlier you begin the preview during generation. No logs showing what is occurring yet.

Second issue:
Desktop (untested on mobile web)
When using the slider to go to earlier part of a preview song, it often will hang, not begin where selected (eg. during gen , preview reaches 2m or so, slider back to 1m) after it hangs silent for a while, it'll restart the song completely, this is not how it used to work

Is there a known Suno issue where after single big project use of Suno studio to generate songs, Studio stops working for that user. Literally it only spins if u make a new project with a simple track. I have tried by creating another user with premium membership it worked for a while then after a day of similar heavy (one big project) usage it stops. There are enough credits. It makes me wonder if there are some hidden user throtling ongoing, blacklisting or a bug.

My original Pro account was linked to a Google login that later changed/migrated. Now Google auto-authenticates with the new address, and Suno no longer detects my paid subscription/account correctly.

Even with the lyrics appropriately cut to match that starting point, it continues to generate from the very beginning of the song.

I've now completely wasted 6 song credits worth of generations getting the same garbage bug each time.

Previously, the only issue I have had is not getting an updated styling that I was happy with, but that's somewhat expected giving I'm still learning and experimenting with prompts and style tags and it was at least doing it from the properly designated location to recreate from.

Just wasted another set of credits changing sliders to 25/75% and same thing. It doesn't recreate from the chosen point. It recreates the first verse, chorus, skips to the bridge and does the final chorus and outro.

It's supposed to be recreating from the point at the end of the bridge section to redo the final chorus and outro

Again, both generations for the attempt do the same thing.

That's 40 credits wasted on this now. 😡

Thanks. I don't mind "losing" credits to an attempt if it's working as intended and the section recreated is usable. That's part of the draw when refining prompts and styles.

That's NOT a waste to me, it's a learning experience.

But when it bugs like this and consistently does NOT work as intended, regardless of how I tweak it... THAT'S a waste, for me, and really, REALLY gets me aggravated.

I was on a real good flow the last few days, updating several songs in this fashion to improve their feel and flow and how they affect the listener- with some epic results (like this one: https://suno.com/s/cswj0PL59lGw0Y0P )

Now I'm just fizzled and burnt out by this and lost all momentum!

Not sure why it doesn't show the slider info except that maybe because it was edited in the legacy editor for a minor touch-up and those don't seem to save that info. But I definitely had the sliders going through 2 Extend sections on that one.

Anyways, it's not related to the sliders. It's related to the lyrics themselves that somehow got bugged in the generation of the song ..

Even though the song plays properly without the extra repeated first verse and chorus, somehow in the embedded lyrics aspect, the lyrics of the first verse and chorus got dumped in between the first and second lines of the bridge section.

I figured this out when I went into the pro version editor to try to replace the section I wanted changed there... and got the same results and then scrolling through the lyrics there I caught the duped section.

I tried realigning the sections and removing the duped lyrics by simply deleting them out in the "replace lyrics" box for replacing the section, but that didn't work. The generations to replace the section there still went with the old embedded lyrics despite the deletions/changes made in the "replace lyrics box" (an issue I HAVE experienced with other songs when going in to fix small bits like word pronunciation because I typoed.

Editing the lyrics in the legacy editor under "replace section" seemed to work for those kinds of fixes on the other songs. So I'll try that next to see if it will work with this one.... But the legacy editor has its own bugs with taking forever to generate a change and then never displaying it for me to preview/apply until I refresh it like 5-10 minutes later

I'm not a Suno employee, nor familiar with Apple Garageband.... But Apple is notorious for making things difficult (personal opinion is their products are highly overrated heavily limiting trash)...

So, my guess is that they are embedding some kind of digital rights tag into the files you're creating that Suno is picking up on, so it won't allow it. Is it a free version program? If not, does the subscription level you're using allow for commercial rights to the product/files you create with it?

Yes! There seems to be some kind of bug in the embedded lyrics that's generating extra sections of lyrics causing the issue... Been trying to figure out a work around using the pro editor (which is where i caught that the extra lyrics are embedded and causing the issue)

No luck so far. RE-sectioning the song and trying to recreate the section and updating the lyrics by deleting the extraneous ones didn't work. The generations that came out still had the extra lyrics in them.

So it's got to be something deeper embedded in the resulting file created that we can't actually access to edit as a general user 😥

I'm currently attempting it in the legacy editor where I've had success fixing smaller issues of a similar nature where trying to update a line of lyrics wasn't working and it kept generating based off the original output despite however I changed it!

i made a video showing what I mean by the embedded lyrics... Before I decided to attempt a fix in the legacy editor(because it's slow and buggy itself), I thought maybe I could correct it by doing a cover and fixing the lyrics to make sure they were perfect as I wanted them.

But the new cover has the same issue, albeit in a different spot and manner. But same issue of extra lyrics encoded into the output file... In this case it duped part of the bridge and essentially repeated the final chorus and outro multiple times...

The song PLAYS fine according to the DISPLAYED lyrics that were input, but the extra lyrics pop up in the editor and can't seem to be edited out through any replacing technique! (Currently attempting legacy editor replace on the cover song version. If that works I will go back to the original bugged song and attempt it there.

Update: attempting to fix this in the legacy editor doesn't work with such a large section. It keeps just cropping the whole section from (what I assume is) where the bug integrates in the timing/aligning data and generates a few seconds of music to end the song.

Ok, I thought I maybe have found a work around.

I got into the editor, found the point where the alignment between the lyrics data and the music breaks down and selected that whole ending portion of the song (which was like ~40% of the song), checked the "classic" box, deleted all the extra lyrics from section under replace lyrics and generated.

It came back with an updated section that was appropriate and decent and matched. And when I committed it, the lyrics box updated to cut off everything after the second chorus (which is where the bug/breakdown was initializing). So no bridge, final chorus and outro in those embedded lyrics at all, but also no duplicated lyrics!

So then i exited out to try to extend from that same breakdown point between the 2nd chorus and bridge to see how it would go ..

My heart skipped a beat when I pinned the point to recreate from and checked the lyrics box where it, somehow, showed the extra lyrics inserted in!

I deleted them, triple checked so that it looked at perfect as I could make it and hit create.

The generations came out clean, from the correct spot without extra lyrics!

The second extends off of the one of the two I liked most, also came out fine.

Now here's the kicker though.

Collect the full song and pop it into the editor and what does the lyrics box show me?

Verse 1
Chorus
Verse 2
Chorus (after this point is the original breakdown spot)
Outro tag and tag data, but the appropriate bridge lyrics that it should be
Chorus with proper tag data (but SHOULD be "final chorus")
Outro tag and tag data with the outro lyrics as appropriate
No final tag data for post outro instrumental direction for between the last lyrics and ending of song that was in there every time with each generation.

So, did this "fix" it so I could finally extend and replace the sections to something better?

Yes.

Should I have to do this, this way?

Absolutely not.

Is this a bug with the extend feature?

No. While the extend feature and other replace lyrics/section features are gravely affected by this, the bug itself appears to be occurring in the generation of a song itself, specifically within the framework of embedding and aligning/ timing of the lyrics data to the actual song structure.

Details:

Infinite Loading in Studio: While generating new tracks from scratch works fine, the loading process never finishes (stuck for several hours) when I bring existing tracks into the Studio to generate specific parts.

Stem Separation Issue: The "Stem Separation" feature is also stuck in an infinite loading loop and does not complete the task.

Comparison: Standard generation outside of the Studio interface seems to function normally, but the issue is consistent whenever the Studio or Stem Separation features are used.

Let me give you an example to clarify:When I buy a sample pack, the license allows me to use those sounds to make a track and upload it anywhere. This is standard in every audio contract.The real problem here is Suno's system: if an audio file gets flagged as a "locked pack" just because a user uploaded a track containing those samples, it means the system is mistakenly treating generic samples as copyrighted material owned exclusively by that single user. If this is the case, it’s a massive bug.The only alternative is if the sample manufacturer explicitly asked Suno to ban their sounds, which is highly unlikely.This isn't about legal technicalities, it's about system optimization. If the system works like this, a few smart users could upload thousands of public samples and lock everyone else out of using them. Suno needs to fix this loophole immediately.

I don't think you followed my full situation through all posts. This big originated in an INITIAL song generation, BEFORE I attempted any extend from.

This initial song was a cover from my original, only changed were style prompts and tags.

It was when I attempted to extend from the initial cover, to change the final chorus and outro that the bug was caught because it was capturing off the extra, bugged lyrics embedded in.

I, personally, had not experienced this in any previous extend attempt with any other song. Granted, I have not done a ton of extending- maybe a dozen or so times previous. But that was enough to know something different happened the l with the INITIAL generation of the song, not the extend itself, because you can see the error in the lyrics when you go into the editor. Even though the DISPLAYED lyrics are fine and match the song as it plays, within the editor on the not-yet-extended version of the song, you see the exact extra lyrics that are causing the issue at the exact point it's happening

When this happens I typically collect the full song (once i have all the new extensions I like) and pull that into the editor where i can split the track at the point it SHOULD be stopping and is looping then delete that extra end bit(s) out, and maybe add a short fade-out to the end if it's too abrupt and then save it as new song.

As long as you're not dealing with a bugged generation as the starting song where it doesn't generate the extention from the proper lyrical point (like I ran into yesterday), this works really well and is only one extra, simple step taking the final full song into the editor to trim off the excess!

Sometimes I get one of those 7:59 long bugged generations that repeats the song again or just are minutes of word tones to the end, but I like the main part of the generation and I'll do similar for that- pop it into the editor, split away and delete the bugged part and save as new song! Then report the original for how it bugged out

I did two fresh generations using same prompts and tags from the original, but completely fresh (not as a cover) and without touching the sliders at all.

Both tracks came out the same:

DISPLAYED lyrics are fine, as input.
Songs PLAY fine as if they're following the displayed lyrics.

Pull the songs up in the editor, however and there are two noticeable issues:

Both songs start out ok and in synch.

The first song loses synch at the bridge. The lyrics continue fine, but the reddish coloring that highlights the words stops tracking in synch, slipping to a point in the outro. While the lyrics shown in the lyrics box repeats from the second chorus, bridge, final chorus and outro again after the initial/ "correct" outro.

On the sound file side where it automatically sections off the music it's also bugged from the bridge and not in synch. The bridge blocking only covers a few seconds of the bridge, it then blocks the rest of the bridge as the outro; blocks off the final chorus as a regular chorus, blocks out the first second of the outro as a bridge section then blocks out the rest as the outro.

The second song almost immediately is out of synch with the first verse section being started about 20 seconds early in what should be the intro. It catches up and resynchs about halfway through the verse and is fine until the bridge.

After the first line of the bridge it breaks. Both the blocking over the sound file and in the lyrics block it becomes the first verse again (same breaking point as the song version I did yesterday). The lyrics tracking in this one actually continues to highlight and track through the duplicated lyrics of the first verse while you hear it properly singing the bridge as it should be!

It then goes into the FINAL chorus, audibly fine, but within the blocking and embedded lyrics tracking it's following a duplicated version of the second chorus and the reddish highlight tracking loses synch again.

This duplicated second chorus that splits into bridge is followed, in the lyrics box, by the remainder of the original bridge, the final chorus and then the outro where the reddish highlighting ALMOST resynchs properly.

The blocking on this corrupts after about 2s of bridge, becoming first verse again then chorus then outro. When it SHOULD be approximately 22 seconds of bridge, final chorus then outro.

I've just had a case of the "uploaded audio matches an existing work of art", it was an audio upload of a WAV render of a freely usable MIDI file of "Badinerie From Suite No 2 Bwv 1067" by Bach. Is this a false positive as surely there are no copyright issues on old classical pieces, I'm assuming I'd have the same issue if I played it myself on my piano and uploaded the end result?

There's basically three ways to be blocked: false positive (can't solve this now), positive hit against your own work (I flagged you in to use your work you've registered as your name), positive hit against someone else's work (can't do anything there).

That even might explain why out of the sudden a few of my songs don't show up anywhere in the workspaces / libraries: they're remixes of an uploaded track which I created some years ago with 3.5 - I found at least two of the missing cover-songs by accident, they're still there and playable, but search doesn't find 'em anymore and no, they're not in the trashcan and yes, i did reset all filters.

What happened to the editing. It has gone to hell. All I want to do is replace 2 words. You used to be able to change the lyris without making a remix of the whole song. I swear every editing update since version V3.5 has gotten progressively worse. I am so frustrated. 2 words. A whole line if necessary. Suno appears to be matching my own music to copyrighted tracks that are either in the training data or things I previously released on streaming. Either way, they were distributed via Distrokid and were AI generated by me on Udio. They were all removed from all streaming services quite a while ago and if you need me to prove I was the owner of the now closed Distrokid and streaming accounts, I can easily prove that. If you're now blocking anything that was previously released, you're gonna be getting a ton of matches because a lot of us who used to be on Udio had streamed our tracks and moved to Suno. Looks like you're seeing the problem based on all of the messages abuot copyright claims here. I'm now uploading some old Udio song that I generated to Suno to improve the quality. These are definitely not anyone else's songs and I can prove it.

Hi, I really need help with a serious billing issue.

I paid $30 for the Studio subscription with 10,000 credits. The payment went through, the money left my bank account, and I received a confirmation email from Suno.

The credits appeared on my account and I even generated around 4–5 songs. Then suddenly the next day everything disappeared — my credits are gone and my subscription now shows inactive.

I’ve also contacted support before about payment issues and never received a proper response, and now again I’m only getting automated replies.

That's hundreds of songs that include my own copyrighted songs I composed YEARS AGO and are registered with my performing rights organization as a sync licensing composer for TV and media. Yup, in same cases the false positive is due to hallucinated lyrics which are copyrighted. That'll happen with instrumentals from time to time. Another amazing bug. :/

If it's a classical piece you wrote it will be fine. If it's a classical piece performed by someone else that's a ToS violation. If it's a classic piece you did not write (Bach), but you performed, that would probably result in a false positive.

For classical especially, my expectation is just about everything will be blocked until there's a fix in place. If that's not true, that's cool.

The Song Editor seriously needs work. I’m sitting here burning credits on edits that NEVER even load. The alternates just sit on “Loading...” forever, and I can’t insert the edited lyrics/music because the generation never finishes.

This isn’t some rare one-off either, it keeps happening in the Editor Beta. If we’re paying extra for this feature, the backend needs more stability or more processing power dedicated to it. Watching credits disappear into an infinite loading screen is insanely frustrating.

At minimum:

• failed/stuck generations should auto-refund credits immediately
• editor generations need timeout detection instead of hanging forever
• the editor needs more reliable processing during replace/inpaint generations

Right now the workflow is getting completely killed by endless loading and wasted credits. Please prioritize fixing the Song Editor because this is rough. & it is a replicated bug with the editor does not matter what song you try to edit!

This is not a copyright issue. I had this earlier but I fixed it and it had nothing to do with copyright or violating ToS. I make my own uploads with me singing and my beats. I fixed it proving it had nothing to do with ToS or copyright.

Ultimately people doing this put at risk everyone who is using the site legitimately.

For example, people who now are trying to upload their demos and are blocked, because we had to put rules in place because of people not using it for that purpose.

Since approximately May 13-14 2026, every time I try to upload any audio file I get this error:
"Uploaded audio matches existing work of art"

This happens with:

• My own original recordings
• Short clips (10-15 seconds)
• Public domain music (classical, etc.)
• Heavily edited audio (pitch shifted, speed changed, etc.)
• Even simple voice recordings or instrumental loops

Before this date the upload feature worked fine.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to Upload Audio section
2. Select any audio file
3. Error appears immediately

Expected behavior:
Allow uploading of original or properly edited audio files.

• When playing music on autoplay and adjusting the volume slider to the desired amount, when the song is finished and it rolls to the next song, the volume jumps automatically back to 100% (highly annoying).
• To reproduce, I would imagine just try play a song and set the volume to anything below 100% and then click next.

Hi Suno Devs,
I was hoping someone could help me understand something about the Extension feature. 😊
I've noticed that when I'm extending a song starting at minute 5, the extension still seems to include lyrics from the very beginning—like "[Intro]" and other early parts. I'm a bit confused about why that's needed. If Part 1 had, say, 5000 characters and I'm adding 2000 more as an extension, model is getting a 7000-character prompt instead of just the new lyrics. Wouldn't it make more sense to only feed the new lyrics?

1. Why does the extension need to see the lyrics from the first part? How does that help with the generation? I'm trying to understand if this is actually working as intended.
2. It sometimes feels like the extension just regenerates Part 1 instead of following the new lyrics I wrote for Part 2. Almost as if the model sees:

[Intro] from part 1
[Verse 1] from part 1
[Chorus] from part 1

What I really want to know is how no one sees that this is broken by design and why no one has fixed it.
Asking for someone to defend this set up so we can all realize together that extensions should not send the first part's lyrics to the model - only the New lyrics..

The Issue arises mainly when the original part has near 5000 chars If you pls try to regular extend a song that has 5000 char lyrics - youll see that there is no possible way for the model to receive both parts lyrics at the same time. It cannot fit the contex of a 7000 character prompt. This isnt about one song. This is about: Why does it need to see the [Intro] from part 1 - when it prevents extend from working at all unless its for a cute 1 verse gen? It doesnt need to see old lyrics - when I remove the original Lyrics from the metadata manually, extensions finally work. but Including both part's lyrics in the generation request is not the move. if you already maxxed out the first part.

Seriously… this is getting silly now.

The flagged line was literally:

“I keep secrets tucked inside my favourite coat”

That is not an artist reference, producer tag, or even remotely close to one. The moderation/filter system is clearly false-flagging completely normal phrases at this point.

This makes it really difficult to write natural lyrics without randomly triggering invisible keyword landmines. Please look into this because the filter behaviour is becoming way too aggressive and inconsistent.

I use extensions heavily and I don't encounter this issue, so I wouldn't describe it as broken by design. I'd more say, there are scenarios where extensions might not perform as expected. In those cases, the best way to help the team resolve them would be to flag the song or use ttps://suno.com/discover?open_feedback

Yeah, producer tags is on the list of things to adjust. Bare in mind there are waaay more producer tags than you likely realize on planet Earth. The issue is we shouldn't weight someone like Pitbull the same as someone with 100 album sales.

Hi Suno team, I’m having an upload issue.

When I upload my original audio (MP3/WAV), I get this error:

"Uploaded audio matches existing work of art. Please upload a different audio file."

The strange thing is yesterday it worked fine, but today all my original files get flagged.

I already tried:

• Re-exporting the audio
• Renaming the file
• Using MP3 and WAV

Still the same issue.

Could this be a bug or false positive detection?

Just encountered a strange issue. Tried to edit a song with the Editor feature. The point was to replace a "I" by a "you". It creates the "line" (in the editor) but it's empty, with a message telling this is "a copyrighted material". The song itself has no issue. Just to let you know.

Hello, re-posting my issue here:
I'm trying to remaster a song using the Upload Audio feature. However, if I try to upload the exact same audio file a second time to try a different prompt or settings, Suno refuses it.
Even crazier: even if I delete the file and the previous generations from my library, Suno still rejects the file when I try to re-upload it. It seems the system keeps the file signature in cache permanently.
Is this a known bug with the library deletion, or is there a way to bypass this restriction so I can keep working on my track? Thanks!

Resolve the uploads please Suno is mainly used to upload your own ideas and productions and collaborate with AI, but it's impossible since any sound is flagged as copyrighted, and after 72 hours, the app is now useless to producers.

Getting a Copyright error when trying to do an Extend from a freshly generated song that is using my own written lyrics. Suno v5.5 on Chrome browser. Saying it can't do the Extend generation because the lyrics are copyrighted.

The only other existence of this song is in Suno from my original v5 version.

I restored my recently paused subscription yesterday for the sole purpose of uploading a jam from the night before to throw some vocals on it as a gag for the other guys who were at the jam. I am happy to stop people from breaking the rules that are publicy claiming they are not breaking the rules. Those are the people that are causing people that aren't breaking the rules to have problems today. Everyone should be happy when bad guys are being caught.

If you have a content id or distrolock on it, you're blocking yourself from using your own content. I had this happen. Just temporarily open up rights to the song, and you should be fine.

Rights management of your own work is something we're working to solve, but aren't there yet

If you don't have a lock on it, then you're likely getting hit with a false positive flag
