I just tried reporting a buggy song, And when i chose the option ''other'' it should ask me why and include a text box to type in the reason, but this window almost immediatly closes and then it thanks you for reporting the song, which is not the intention i thinkšŸ‘€

not sure if this is considered a bug but after the 5.5 update, stems aren't automatically named anymore, it just saves under the title of the track rather than eg. track name (Drums)

Same issue here but the part with the missing credits is global regardless of browser and it's just horrible not knowing how much credits you're wasting on these horrible 7min+ gens. I sent in feedback through the website about it but i don't even know if that feedback is read or taken seriously at this point. I even tried covers that ended up with 7:09min gens when the original was 3:59min lol

Like pretty much every gen you make in 5.5 and V5 now, too. After they introduced the model the quality went downhill, fast.
To get decent gens I need to do a tango with so many steps that making a song costs now double the credits (at least). Hmmm... šŸ¤”
And the quality then is merely bearable. There are so many complaints all around that I wonder if they are taking it seriously or even read them.

Good evening,
Iā€™ve lost a lot of credits because of a really persistent bug on Suno. Iā€™ve been trying to create an instrumental track for a while now, but thereā€™s a major issue with the style description. Whenever I enter a new prompt to change the style, it keeps reusing an old one I used before, over and over again. Iā€™ve tried clearing everything and refreshing the page, but nothing worksā€¦

Is there any way to fix this?
(I just renewed my subscription and Iā€™m already starting to regret it :/)

Well, I guess that Suno is not a single model, but multiple models involved in process. So, in order to reproduce output you would need to enter multiple seeds. That would look too technical for an average user.

What I think should be done instead - is to add a function to regenerate song in ultra fidelity (using stored prompts and seeds) for something like 20 credits (or even 50). It's understandable that current generation pipeline is optimized to reduce servers load, but we need an ability to regenerate song in "uncompromised" fidelity for extra credits (using highest inference step count etc). Suno is like gambling, and while you are "rolling the dice" you don't need best quality. You only need best quality when you discover a real gem.

The link to open the vocal "voices" trainer has gone away for me.. i cant record new voices. I use chrome and firfox under linux .. that link comes and goes. Anyone else with this problem?

I guess if they had seeds like with image and video genning then people would start using the best seeds that are producing so maybe pointing to parts of the model training. Also I am convinced 5.5 and maybe 5.0 have less artists they have them trained on and so less veriety in the gens produced. But that is only my suspision, I have zero evidence apart from thinking the gens produced are very samey now. I think maybe the older models had a ton of artists and the audio quality was lower, newer models higher quality audio but less veririty of songs they were trained on and maybe artists, the latter for obvious reasons.

I used a prompt and made tracks no singing no lyrics. now i use the same prompt and IF a track is 7+ minutes betwen 7 and 8 at the very end like 10 seconds it starts singing and the track is broken like it doesn't finish properly not sure where singing lyrics come from... initially I thought it was my own model I had created then I used 5.5 and same thing... now I'll try with 5.0 but this is weird... like i say no singing... i have no lyrics and at the very end only if it's a 7min to 8min track the end gets trashed.

v5 is fine... I guess the model is based on v 5.5 so my model and v 5.5 both anything generated that's long 7..8min which v5 doesn't produce at all but anything long they ALL no exception the end is broken and the last 10..15 seconds it starts random nonsense lyrics

yeah me too I created a model using 24 tracks not 2 not 6... 24 and a lot of the stuff it produce had very similar start... v5.5/model seems to be bugged big time... it's useless if you do serious stuff.

V4 had a far more creative sound palette and arrangements.
5.5 sounds all the same. Same sounds. Same synths. Same filtered fx runs. No matter what you prompt in electronic genre

I see a bunch of others with the same issue.

The situation:

I was on Pro Plan (monthly) and tried to upgrade to Premier Plan monthly
An annual invoice (ā‚©474,375) was generated instead
The invoice is unpaid, but I cannot cancel it or switch to monthly ā€” it reverts back to yearly every time I confirm the change
I need to use Suno urgently but this billing bug is blocking me completely

I've noticed this happen with both my custom models so far. I assumed it's because the pieces I gave it were unfinished and some were only 1-2 minutes, but it does happen in the base model now on anything I ask for "hybrid orchestra" with which is what I see you have in your tracks. I think it's assuming you want a trailer or a teaser piece and so it's going short.

8/10 EDM songs i create is 7:59 with last 2-3 minutes being completely different genre and with vocals.

It seems the pinned list has flipped, showing the oldest first as opposed to the newest added first. This must be a bug, because even on a marketing perspective, pushing the latest created is generally just a wise move to boost engagement.

If this is not a bug, but an intentional decision, I suppose I could mitigate it by removing all pins and then adding them back in reverse order.

Edit: Something odd is happening, when I refresh the page, it shows the right way first, and then flips. Odd.

The taste profile seems confused by my material. Producing for variety seems to just make it default to something. It picked electronic and metal. Which I do enjoy, but 80% of my work are rich cinematic tunes. The problem is that whenever I cover a song using 5.5, there's a 80% chance of getting a random electric guitar solo. (I assumed it would change if I listened to more tunes, but it remained fairly static.)

I think it based my taste profile entirely on my first 5.5 suno song.

These bugs are unforgivable; there's no way to cut the songs when they finish. Not by editing, not by expanding... It's currently broken... and if it's broken, it should be stopped until it's fixed so customers don't waste credits unnecessarily.
Is a platform change coming? I don't think so, right? We only had version 5.5 a few days ago.

I'm having a lot of trouble generating songs. I have to restart them several times because the songs are often exactly 7:59 long, and once the lyrics finish, it starts again from the beginning and cuts off in the middle. The same thing happens with mashups, which are 6 minutes long and do the exact same thing. I've lost quite a few credits because of this.

We're all in the same boat. At least it seems to have gone down to 6 minutes, because before it was 8 minutes, and since the song ended much sooner, it kept repeating the lyrics. And if you tried to fix it with the editor, you spent 4 credits, and instead of finishing the song, it would just start singing the lyrics again from the beginning. And if you clicked "expansion," it would just start singing again... It's impossible to work like this.

i was able to get around this when covering an instrumental by use the edit->add vocals...but the sound quality came out poop (but actually didn't restart the introduction)...try to cover that...but went straight back to restarting the song at the instrument break and ad-libing screamy runs for some arbitrary fixed time of 4:3something on both renders....but i digress...note was using v5 model.

BUG: in the song details popup menu, if you highlight and cut the contents of the style/genre textbox, the textbox disappears, thus not allowing you to enter in new contents....how's that for an embarrassing lazy low effort bug to deploy to your customers

we'd first need to know how a song's length is even computed. Is it an algo detecting when the AI is "done"? Is it when the lyrics are done (it thus requires to detect this). Is it an upfront estimation?
Let's remember that AI is a black box at its core (but I don't know how much of Suno is that kind of AI), and that knowing when it's done producing the song might not be a straightforward thing.

Do you know how diffusion models works? A music is "painted" in steps (techically, this is denoising steps, because model starts creating music from white noise latents). So, more steps will mean more detailed sound and less artifacts/noise. Suno will never admit it, but it probably works like this: when Suno starts generating your track it checks total queue size, and if queue is longer than some threshold, it will use less inference steps to "paint" your song.

Hi everyone. Iā€™m having an issue with the Extend feature when trying to generate a short instrumental outro.
Previously, using the [Outro] tag in the lyrics would generate a short closing section without any issues. Now, every time I try to extend from the end of a finished song to add a brief instrumental fade out, Suno generates a full 3-4 minute track instead.
I also tried using an [End] tag but it wasnā€™t recognized.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any workaround to get Suno to generate very short instrumental sections?

I keep getting songs and even noticed it among other users which end and start the song a new but different style but the song cuts off unended or it generates a constant noise, or even a silence... I think you coded something wrong into the new version, since I started to notice this since v5.5

Because it doesn't work properly
Hasn't for quite a while, has been reported many times by many people, no sign of any improvement
V5.5 consistently gives 4-minute extensions that repeat lyrics from the original song, however many times you tell it to generate an instrumental and however you try to control the duration
V5 can still do instrumental extensions but it doesn't like making them longer than about 30 seconds and the quality tends to be horrible
Unfortunately making their program work properly, do what it claims it can do, or follow clear and simple instructions, apparently isn't a priority

The only way I can find to get an extension without vocals, is to split the song into vocal and instrumental stems, extend the instrumental one, then use other means to add the vocal stem back into the extended version. If you're lucky sometimes it doesn't just hallucinate new lyrics out of nowhere for the extension šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø
This still doesn't solve the problem of every extension being 4 minutes long. You can maybe work around that too, by making the too-long extension and then extending that at the point where it's supposed to end, using a different model (not 5.5) that is able to generate endings.
None of which would be necessary if Suno would fix their product to follow instructions, but it's an option until they finally learn how to fix problems instead of adding new ones

Not sure if this is specific to 5.5, but Iā€™ve started seeing a few issues recently that have added friction to songwriting and cost time and credits without much benefit.

Copyright flagging on original lyrics (including my own tracks),
Iā€™m now getting rejections for ā€œcopyright violationā€ even when reusing my own lyrics. Thereā€™s no indication of what part is triggering it, and no way to validate before generation.

This leads to trial-and-error (removing sections, regenerating), which wastes both time and credits.

It would really help if the system could at least indicate where the issue is, especially given what seems to be a fairly sensitive (and possibly false-positive-prone) detection.

Extending vocal tracks into instrumental sections (e.g., for endings or building off vocal rhythm) has become unreliable.

Even when explicitly prompting for instrumental, I often get outputs with vocals and have to retry multiple times. This seems to be a recent regression and ends up being a significant drain on credits.

Would love to see improvements in both areasā€”these are workflows I rely on heavily.

I dont know if this is a bug but this has been happening so often even with 5.0.

No matter what i do, when i try and generate different versions of a prompt, even though 'the style' has kind of changed, the song is actually, the exact same. It's as if it's stuck in a cover loop.

The most egregious part about it, is it's using the same form of vocals at the same parts, and adding adlibs that aren't even present.

I love adlibs! But it's making it apparent no matter the generation attempt, it's THE SAME generation.

Is it possible that no one is talking about major bugs? Version 5.5 now tends to generate almost the same melody most of the time, making productions very similar to each other. Additionally, in the past few days, when generating two tracks, one is completed correctly while the other consistently stops at 07:59.
Is it possible that no one has noticed? It almost seems like, after reaching certain financial results, the interest in improving the product has declined. Perhaps only a broader reaction from users could bring attention back to these issues.

Iā€™m getting the same Bass and melodic structure on every cover I do on different songs if I use the same simple ā€œminimal waveā€ prompt. It usually starts with a two bar filtered bass that drops out and I get some synth toms. Then again, before the same drums kick in.
Homogenised music generation that is not only dull but feels cookie cutter in the extreme.

I'm unable to upload my voice. When I try to record it, it doesn't detect my audio (despite choosing the correct microphone). If I record it and try to upload, the upload initially works, but then on the next screen I get this "upload failed" error. I tried with an .mp3 and a .wav. I also tried using a song I previously uploaded and got the same error. Is this feature just not working right now or is it specific to me?

With V5.5, audio breakdown as a song plugs along seems to be getting worse. Things I'm now generating become unusable by the time they reach about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way threw and degrade into a bunch of hiss by the end of the song. As of today, I've also noticed that the quality of the rendered instruments has lowered. Some of what I'm getting back sounds like V3 to 3.5's cheap guitars and keyboards. This is all at the default setting, no attempted personalization or change of options.

Hi everybody. I have a question. When I extract the drums and other instruments. the bpm of the tracks are always a little bit different.
Like for example if the song is 125BPM its not exactly 125BPM when extracted. I also tried the tempo lock feature. Didn't help !
There is another problem...even if you detect the tempo in your daw and set it correct
there's always some weird tempo differences through the song
like verse 1 maybe slighty different compared to 125
but the chorus may be way off
so even if you correct it.

Covers in 5.5 still messing up the parts of the song. Different melodies and not following the original song. All covers starts with same speaking part from the first Verse. I don't want that! It won't follow the lyrics at start. Frustrating bug. 5.0 makes covers like it should but music quality is SO bad. How long do i have to wait the FIX, or forever??? The biggest problem is the songs slow down in tempo for multiple bars when "ending" before they hallucinate further so the endings are all messed up even to trim. Trimming pieces, replacing sections for the ends, these are tedious extra steps. Is there a reason why Suno isn't addressing/acknowledging the issue now? Or has it been acknowledged and I missed that.

I don't use the replace sections much or trim, don't those use up credits?

I'm here to ask why the "link embeds" in Discord no longer has Suno links able to playback. Since around March 12-26 it only shows the thumbnail and "Listen and make your own on Suno" but no playback. Older posts still play back fine, so I assume the Suno backend didn't lock it down entirely. Currently, when there is a playback icon on the embed, it only plays the 5-10 second silent video, not the song itself.

Obviously, I consider it a bug. The #šŸ£ā”ƒsuno-showcase is more useful when I can preview the song before I click the full song page link. Anyone knows if it must be fixed by discord/plugin makers, or if Suno should rethink the metadata to promote the audio instead of the video?

When extending a song that originally contains lyrics, creating an instrumental section does not work as expected.

Leaving the lyrics field empty or entering ā€œ[Instrumental]ā€ still results in vocals being generated, often repeating previous lyrics.

Additionally, the extension does not transition or end properly. Instead of continuing naturally, it often loops back to a similar point as before the extension, and the track can abruptly cut off during a more intense section rather than finishing smoothly.

Covers are seriously broken. 6 cover generations of a 3:28 song ended up at 7:13 or longer. Weirdly it will behave as if the song is ending and then a drum drop and it's as if it starts over... it can perform that same behavior multiple times in the same song. It is seriously frustrating. And someone on Reddit said it was "Weirdness" settings at 15% or lower, but I have confirmed the settings have little to no effect.

Has anyone else noticed that most SUNO generations are in A441 tuning (I have had a couple at A442 as well)? I have had a few at standard A440, but the majority are at A441 and I have had to correct the stems in my DAW to standard pitch.

@sand depot is there any update on the v5.5 vocal crackle issue? I've been doing some tests and it seems the vocal synth has issue with hard consonants (P's B's S's etc). It's not a voice/persona thing (though it seems worse in this case) also not all voices are affected, male vocals seem better than female and some vocalists selected by the model are totally unaffected. I got ReMi to make a torture test track which shows the issue

Yeah. I normally generate instrumental because I hate how Suno voices handle the chorus with this obnoxious, overly dramatic lift. 5.5 has better control BUT the 7:59 bug makes songs useless. I im working on instrumentals that end up with vocals and lyrics added in the second half. The voices sound great. The lift is minimal. BUT no lyrics generated for me to try and do something with, and it's supposed to be instrumental anyway.

Since the last time, when you create songs, they end when they're supposed to, but if you want to end them differently, even just in the last few seconds, it's impossible; it creates extra-long expansions. Why do they do that? Is it to prevent expansions shorter than 8 seconds and thus waste credits? Well, that's how they've rendered expansion mode unusable.

I have noticed that songs I created and downloaded in the past seem to sound slightly different when I download them again at a later time, even though I did not make any changes to them. This creates the impression that the audio is not preserved in a fixed and consistent state over time.

[BUG] In the Cover feature, internally inferred song sections and lyric estimation conflict with user-provided Lyrics input, causing melody degradation. The issue worsens when using Voice.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Use the Cover feature on an uploaded track or an existing track
  2. Input exactly the same meta tags and lyrics in the Lyric field as used when creating the original song
  3. The generated cover does not preserve the original melody line

Additional notes:
Songs with inaccurate lyric estimation and section inference (from uploaded tracks) tend to preserve the melody less reliably. Based on this, I hypothesized that internal section inference conflicts with user input and conducted tests. The following results were observed:

惻Style has little impact on the melody line, but strongly affects the accompaniment. However, entering only voice characteristics inferred from the original (e.g., "mid-range baritone") into Style increases the likelihood that Voice behaves correctly.

惻User-defined structural meta tags in Lyrics (e.g., [Chorus]) appear to be ignored or interfere with internal inference. When included, the melody line is more likely to be disregarded. This is especially noticeable in the final chorus, where the latter half of [Chorus] is often inferred as [Outro].

惻When structural tags are removed, sections where lyrics are missing due to lyric estimation errors tend to ignore the melody line. This is especially noticeable in the intro.
Melody appears to be managed on a per-section basis. As a result, even if the verse melody breaks, the chorus may still preserve the melody (or vice versa). If structural tags are included, the chorus may also become unstable.

惻Properly separating sections using blocks or line breaks is effective. Removing line breaks within a section (e.g., making the entire chorus a single block) improves results. However, if lyric estimation is inaccurate, this can strongly degrade the melody. Removing all line breaks causes the melody to collapse entirely. That said, section inference appears to have a stronger influence overall, as the same parts consistently fail to preserve the melody.

惻Removing all Lyrics has no meaningful effect. The output does not become a true instrumental and may still partially sing fragments.
Using Voices optimized for high vocal ranges increases the likelihood of noise artifacts.

惻Using custom models trained on silence increases noise occurrence and does not improve melody preservation.

šŸšØTo investigate this issue, check both the section inference (positions of labels such as [Chorus], etc.) and the lyric estimation accuracy (whether the lyrics are mostly correct) for songs where the melody becomes unstable when using the Cover feature.
In most problematic cases, the affected sections appear to be misclassified as different sections (for example, a pre-chorus being included in the chorus, or a chorus being interpreted as an outro).

I found other issue in the Suno Editor:
the Replace Button will test the sound result correctly in the timeline, but if you try to regenerate (the button name will be changed to Regenerate), the replaced sound will never try to be tested in the place of original audio

That's interesting, is this for normal "create" songs or Studio mixes? Can you describe what kind of differences you hear? Any model or just v5.5 or v3 or so? WAV or MP3?
If you have an example song with saved WAV/MP3, both "old" and "new" it would be easy to make a binary diff to answer the question "are they the same".
I did not make any changes to them
I only thought about it for Studio, I once had a problem where some clips didn't work when exported, but played back fine in Studio. The next day it worked. My conclusion was that Studio had a cache that was regenerated. Note that this was not the final exported track, but the Studio internals, so it is not directly comparable to your report, but maybe relevant.

When you download WAV, there is a "preparing download" step, not sure what that would be but it does imply that WAV is not readily available (and it seems silly to generate the WAV from mp3, but who knows). If they need to save the "internal representation" (used with the model to generate that song) anyway, they could have decided that it's better to regenerate for download. The public tracks should have the MP3 instantly available though, even if they could still be regenerated at times behind the scenes.

v5.5 Cover with cloned voice: lots of micro-cuts and voice shifting mid-song , When I generate a cover of an uploaded song using my cloned and optimized voice with my own custom lyrics, I get two major issues:

  1. Micro-cuts / dropouts ā€” there are many small audio glitches and brief silences throughout the track, especially on the vocals.
  2. Voice shifting mid-song ā€” the cloned voice sounds consistent at the start, but then gradually or suddenly switches to a different voice partway through the song (mid-verse or mid-chorus).
    This happens consistently when combining: Cover feature + custom voice clone + pasted lyrics.
    Using v5.5. Any fix or workaround?

Can you describe what kind of differences you hear? Any model or just v5.5 or v3 or so? WAV or MP3? -> It can be any model. The differences are subtle, with slightly less power or less bass or some words are pronounced differently and so on. Also, the WAV files are generally a bit odd and in some cases even worse than the MP3s, sometimes containing interference frequencies that are not present in the MP3 versions.

When you download WAV, there is a "preparing download" step, not sure what that would be but it does imply that WAV is not readily available (and it seems silly to generate the WAV from mp3, but who knows). -> A few people with good programming experience told me that suno generates the WAV on the fly from an existing source file.

As with everything (both local and on the cloud), if it's important to you, always make backups. -> That is actually my main problem. I still have many songs with errors that are very time consuming to fix, especially since sunoā€™s tools often fail to correct them properly. That is why I keep trying this from time to time. However, downloading the faulty file does not help much either, because you can no longer fix the issue afterwards. The corrections only work on the version that is still on suno, which may already have changed by then.

I'm putting this here as I consider it a bug, rather than something to be suggested. I'm trying to make a live version of my song (and eventually songs) that I've already distributed. This message keeps popping up for these songs ("your lyrics contain copyrighted material.") To be clear, I have distributed these songs via DistroKid, however, I have not registered them through the US copyright office. They are my own lyrics, for sure, but the "bug" here is that they are not actually copyrighted. At least not in any official sense. I've learned that even if I distribute songs via a distributor that doesn't actually grant me copyright. I have to personally submit my work for review. So why are these songs being tagged as "copyright" when that's factually inaccurate?

Beyond that, if we follow this to it's logical conclusion, wouldn't it mean that any song with original lyrics created by a user and then distributed (as is currently allowed via Suno's ToS) could no longer be remixed, covered, mashed up, etc? Doesn't that undermine how Suno functions? I hope this bug can be fixed soon.

I ran into this two times.
First when I tried to feed the custom model with a song I had uploaded into another model previously. it got prevented from uploading, but since it was already there, it would let me pick from the uploads.

The other one was "Schiller's" text to "Ode to Joy": "Freude schƶner Gƶtterfunken..." after trying to change prompts and looking for other possible issues, looking up plausable causes and google searches, a song on suno came up with that text.
Meaning, as far as I understand, that suno protects the Lyrics on it's webiste, makes sense, what doesn't is that the Lyrics to Ode to Joy themselves are Public domain for quite a while and someone on suno, as good as their song may be, can't just be the holder of these Lyrics/ texts, right?

The only thing that did let me bypass it was phonetic spelling, Suno didn't pick up on the sound itself, if that makes sense.

I did report it, but never got an answer.

Have you also had crackles when the vocalist sings a word with hard P's B's S's T's etc, I've had those on most of my tracks and it's not always persona or cover related! I've reported it to @sand depot but he hasn't replied to my post or my DM yet! @sand depot is there any update from the devs on this issue yet? Even just saying that you are working on it would be helpful, this isn't making Suno look very good especially at the moment!

The Suno editor is really broken. I'm trying to insert an instrumental break, which I asked for in the original sheet. Instead, it's writing new lyrics for the part of the songs. This is really upsetting, because I write my own lyrics without AI. I don't WANT Suno lyrics. I want what I asked for. It didn't used to do this.

I've also noticed when I do things like try to ad a simple musical ending such as a stinger chord, it often just keeps redoing what was there before now. I wouldn't be regenerating if I wanted the same thing over and over. But htere doesn't seem to be a way to report bugs that occur in bits generated by the editor.

I'd like to point out an issue that's mostly cosmetic. When using the editor and generating new parts, these are often counted as songs in the workspace, but they remain invisible even after removing all filters. As a result, they cannot be deleted.

I originally signed into Suno using my Gmail account, and later changed the email address in my account settings. Now when I try to log in again using my Gmail, it just creates a completely new account instead of recognizing my original one.

So it seems like my old account is still there, but I canā€™t access it through Gmail anymore.

Has anyone run into this before or knows how to fix it? How can I reconnect to my original account?

Suno now uses maybe 5% of my screen real estate, because, you know, my Desktop is a cell phone, or at least should be treated like one. I really wonder what the UI team does for a living, because it clearly isn't doing its job. The UI has gradually worsened since I started in early 2025. Also check out the suggestions-layout channel and put your feedback there so it's not just 5 people complaining. At least there should be an option to select the old UI.

Is anyone else getting renders tending to render the proper time again, i.e. 3 to 4 minutes instead of the constant 7 minute bug, BUT still, ALL the renders, round 20-30 seconds of the ending of the track start slowing the tempo down gradually, then jump back into the regular tempo, and don't resolve the song well. Just cut off 10 seconds or so after the buggy slowdown.

Get stems function is working... not how i would expect. Instead of getting those stems it generates versions that are close. But still have a fatal flaws compared to the original... I am not sure if it is intended, but spending 50 credits to get flawed stems is not a good outcome.

Don't know why but when I do mashup music I get length issues 3/4 of the time... the generations just stops after a bit cutting right in the middle of the song. It's pretty consistent from my experience. Things like 15, 30 seconds of songs, but also abrupt cutting around 1 or 2 minute marks while the 2 songs smashed together are stemming from the same song and of similar length around 4:20

I'm still getting the 7.59 bug, almost every generation it's been a whole week of this now.
I am trying to work on a project and it's impossible with this bug.
It's not following the lyric sheet instructions at all.
I'm getting the last half of the song repeating a single word over and over rapidly and this is supposed to be a meditative mostly instrumental soundscape of very minimal and occasional word sounds.

I have gone through an outrageous amount of credits stupidly hoping that the next time the bug will not effect my gen, and it does. 7.59 mins of not following the lyric sheet and it doing it's own thing.
At this point I think we should get a credit refund or something. So many people are reporting this bug!

I keep having issues related to volume. Songs go from 30% volume in the beginning and at the end its 100%. I have talked to David in DM about this and he told me to contact him again if it happened. I have sent him DMs in march and april but I'm guessing he's too busy. It's been a problem since the beginning of the year. Happens on different models, workspaces, prompts, sliders, inspos, no inspos, clean prompts, it doesnt matter. Seen it affect others too but dont know if they report it

So, I just noticed there has been a change to the behavior in style descriptions where if it detects a band/artist name it instead replaces said name with the genre of the artist, which, I like the attempt to remedy the issue, but it creates a new issue. I never put artist or band names in my prompts, so when it detects something it is because it is a descriptor for an effect or stylistic choice and thus when it automatically replaced it with the genres and automatically generated it wasted time and credits because my prompt had nothing to do with those genres. Like I said, I appreciate the effort to fix the annoying message not allowing a prompt to go through, but I think the better alternative is to give us the specific thing that is caught in the filter and maybe why it is being caught so that we can fix it ourselves before generating. I hope that all made sense.

The one I just ran into was the word crossfade, which GPT inserted trying to describe that the track was meant as a transition between two songs that would be crossfaded into each other. Obviously, Crossfade is a band, so that is why it was filtered, but it was just a bit of a mixup caused by GPT that I didn't notice until too late. So it inserted "Alternative Rock, Post-Grunge" where it really just meant "fade in and out".

If 5.5 is so good why doesnā€™t my voice hold throughout a cover? After the first verse I get some wild rock vocalist take over and in the second verse a female vocal.
Even though I prompt specifically for my voice, deadpan British male baritone and negative prompt for females, expression etc alongside everything else wrong with things on this platform now. Iā€™m cancelling my sub. Iā€™ve had enough of spending credits on a vague hope. This platform isnā€™t fit for my purpose. Everything sounds the same. Each two generations are the same. The sound palette used is the same.

v5.5 introduced these transient spikes that frequently occur after sibilants. They sound like crackles and are very disturbing especially in quiet passages in a song. I was able to filter out most of them by post processing the aduio with an adaptive filter written in python, but they are hard to deal with when several occur next to each other, or when they happen to be on top of the peak of a lower frequency audio signal. Even if you cannot fix your audio renderer, you should be able to train your AI to filter them out relatively easily.

I've had much worse and managed to save the track, here's a quick thing to try .... using v5 and "sample this song", mark the entire track, ensure the lyrics box has your lyrics, put "female vocals" as the only thing in the style box, set weirdness low (<10%), set style to 100% and start with audio influence around 40%, click create and you should get a really similar sounding track with fixed vocals, let me know if this works for you šŸ™‚

the thing is that 5.0 can also really sound great & bass heavy like 5.5, only it rarely does. And I believe 5.5 was more selective in its training to do that more (which would explain that it's also more bland).
With 5.0 you sometimes got those wtf moments when you got a render that sounded way above all others

For instance, users could define the balance between the two songs, the frequency of transitions, or the degree of blending. Anyways, what has worked for a friend of mine: Search an old device where he is still logged in, then use Suno there for a few and he could log in everywhere again. So I hope you have some browser or phone where you logged in before you could not, because chances are you are still logged in there.

Maybe they should just recruit more people, they are taking the money, too, so service is paramount.

Bug: All generations fixed at ~7:59 with two songs stitched together (v5.5 research)

Iā€™m using Suno via web with the 5.5 research model.

Every track I generate ā€” across completely different prompts and styles ā€” is coming out at ~7:59 in length.

The output is not one continuous piece. It sounds like two separate songs stitched together, with a clear transition/reset partway through.

This is happening consistently, even when:

changing prompts entirely
simplifying structure
requesting shorter tracks

Iā€™ve also already tried:

clearing browser cache and cookies
using a different browser
logging out and back in

So this doesnā€™t appear to be a local issue.

It makes it impossible to generate normal-length songs at the moment.

Seems like a stop-condition or generation chaining issue in the model.

from what i can see this is server side not user side . This is why i bugged reported . I teted over multiple songs and styles but once rendering starts, its takng 10 minutes to finish so you can see that the stop command where it knows the song should end gets stuck and then starts rendering the song from scratch again

Most of the gens that I generate aren't usable. For the most part I get two songs in one gen and it's almost impossible to seperate as they bleed into each other. That way song making is next to impossible (extend doesn't work either).

literally, i am having not much fun anymore. this ai is good at composing random stuff but can't follow coherent structure based of a sound file... this is rediculous. it sound so good and then it gets to 3/4 through the song and does weird and funky things for no reason whatsoeve.... other, than, maybe trying to keep some sort of proprietery hold and steal original songs because they are just different enough. this is frustrating as heck.

I find it adds either lyrics or human hums/chants in a song that specifically says instrumental in the style and has NO lyrics listed in the lyric section. Completely ruins the instrumental and wastes credits. ...and the 7:59 songs that should have ended around the halfway point but it puts duplicate verses or chorus's or random crap in... another waste of credits.

BUG: error viewing like count, cleared by reloading page: song page of my own song, 2 songs in remix of link (also mine), hit he thumbs up on each to turn the icon thumbs up icon from grey to white, navigate to remix song page via the embedded links, like count was 1, re-navigated to remix of song page, unliked (grey thumbs up), navigated to remix song link , like count was zero. Reloaded the paged via browser reloaded cleared the erroneous like count view to show the correct like count(the like count was non-zero initially).

Bug: scrolling style lists too fast causes page to hang and stop working in firefox. The genre list doesn't have this issue and correctly buffers and loads more songs instead of hanging like the style list. by style list i am referring to suno.com/style/<style/genre> and genre list as suno.com/genre/<style/genre>. As far as I can tell both lists are the same...only that one used to be tied to the song summary hyperlinks and the other is tied to the search function genre button...or something like that....the problem is when you click a style hyperlink in the song details summary view....you get stuck going to the style page and not the genre page...making scrolling and viewing songs in particular style via the embedded links a pretty crappy experience --this has been an ongoing issue since January....3 months later...still doesn't function correctly

I'm not sure what exactly you're looking for as an answer, I already told you all the facts. What you're describing is absolutely not a bug. Everything is working as intended for the previews. If you like 5.5 then you need to pay for pro plan to get those full songs, thats all there is to it. I'd argue you're lucky you even get those free 30s previews imo but since it's a great way to show what the latest version can do it's a really great business tactic to get more paying customers. They did get me to pay like this as well as most of other people I know.

You might not know this but all those previews you got of 5.5 are actually full songs that you will get for FREE if you subscribe to the pro plan or better. They will unlock automatically and you will have access to them without doing anything more. This is also why they would not give you 5.5 previews forever. Otherwise you could get 700+ free songs if you subscribe, that's not realistic at all.

I made a payment for the Pro subscription on Saturday morning (April 11, around 9:21 a.m. Nigerian time), and I was debited successfully (ā‚¦14,900). However, my account is still not showing that I have access to the Pro features.
At the moment, it still looks like I havenā€™t subscribed, despite the payment going through. This is quite upsetting, as I expected the subscription to activate immediately after payment.

Good afternoon!
I'm a recent user of SUNO. I've been using it for a month and a half. Here are some of the bugs I've noticed in this AI:

  1. When generating instrumental tracks in the 5.5 model, in most cases, it results in a track with a duration of 07.59, but in the last third of the track, there is an unexpected appearance of vocals, even though both Lyrics and Styles clearly indicate the [Instrumental] tag, and the style description often includes "no vocal" or "instrumental only". At the same time, in version 5, with the same prompt, instrumental tracks are generated, but they are less than 3 minutes long.
  2. By the end of these long (07:59) tracks, parasitic distortions (hum/noise) in the frequency range of 8000-12000 hertz significantly increase.
  3. The Extend mode behaves strangely: in version 5.5, it can generate a new piece with vocals (although the original is instrumental). And in version 5, when you specify, for example, a control point (from which the extended part is created) a few seconds before the end of the main track, it creates a new piece that is only a few seconds long, instead of the one and a half to two minutes that is written in the manual. And if the main track is, for example, 2 minutes long, and you put a mark at exactly 1 minute, then the extendeded will be generated to be a minute or less long.
  4. Spectral analysis of the tracks (both normally generated and these long ones (07:59)) shows that the upper frequency range is now 18,000 Hz, although more recently the upper frequency was 20,000 Hz. Moreover, this is in tracks uploaded in WAV format. If it works, I'll attach a couple of screenshots. I will indicate the generation date in the screenshots.

I understand delays can happen, but this is not just a processing delay. Apple has already confirmed that my subscription is active, and I have been charged successfully. This means the payment has already gone through.

Despite that, I still do not have access to Pro features in my account. I have also already contacted billing support and reached out through multiple channels without any resolution so far. At this point, I need this to be properly looked into rather than being asked to wait, as everything on the payment side is already confirmed.

Please escalate this issue or direct me to someone who can resolve it. Itā€™s simply unfair that a Pro Subscription of Suno is active but I canā€™t have access to it.

I have come to the conclusion that the v5.5 model is flawed. It's a shame because it includes some really interesting updates, but everything sounds "cheap".

I analysed some songs with Gemini and concluded that it was "because it relies on a very safe, traditional foundation that doesn't challenge the listener's ear. In music theory terms, it is strictly diatonic, meaning it only uses the basic notes within its specific scale without any "outside" notes to create tension or surprise.".

I have had to go back to V5 to work on my project, because V5.5 is totally unworkable for me.

Yes, I have noticed that instrumentals with v5.5 tend to include vocals. Sometimes it helps including "instrumental" in the style box apart from leaving the lyrics box empty.

I'd previously reported about there being no sidebar with song details displayed when selecting a song in a playlist. I've now found that this was because I'd clicked the close button on the sidebar, which appears to save something in local storage to mark it as closed but I can't find a way to get it to display again short of clearing local storage for the Suno website. Original written lyrics that were from an earlier gen' model song that we made are being listed as copyright when trying to test the song in 5.5, not to mention after clicking to generating three times; and after trying a few things, noticed our credits were used up (and not refunded) after it happened even though we did not get access to what was generated or told exactly what it was that was being flagged.

Since the recent update, especially with the 5.5 model, generation often gets stuck or fails when a voice persona is used. In addition, when a generation attempt fails this way, there is a bug where the frontend becomes completely unresponsive and no pages load at all.

Also, Iā€™m not really happy with the My Page redesign. Artwork is part of the art of music too. Please stop reducing its prominence.

BUG: while stems are generating and viewed in workspace via the hide stem filters off, disabling the hide clips from edit mode filter or hide disliked filter causes the stems to disappear, toggling the filters back on causes them to reappear. This is while they are being generated and not clickable/playable yet.

Iā€™m experiencing a major issue with Suno (v5.5) for about a week now, making it essentially unusable on my end.
Almost all generations result in a 7:59 track where the song loops back to the beginning instead of continuing properly.
Additionally, when a track does generate without the 7:59 loop issue, there is a consistent problem around the middle of the song:
the tempo suddenly increases, the drums become very basic, and the overall composition quality drops significantly.
This happens across all prompts, including ones that were working perfectly before, and also affects covers.
At this point, itā€™s not an occasional bug but a systematic issue preventing any usable output.
I understand that bugs can happen, but this has been ongoing for about a week, which is quite frustrating for a paid service.

the only workaround i have found is using add vocals on an instrumental, but , of course once you try to change the vocals w/ persona, you run into the same BS issue (although instad of 8 minutes, its more like 6 and some change)...my workaround is to use add vocal to instrumental for lyric songs, and work on getting the voice through vocal description rather than relying on persona's for song that want to do this....clearly they can't fix the issue or they would have at this point...no point waiting on them any longer

When generating stems from a song in Suno lately, the resulting Stem-tracks don't get named accordingly by the server. They all have the very same name on front-end for the user and no distinctive marker to guess what kinda stem it actually is!

I have to bring this up again too, because for a proper production workflow it's simply necessary to work with as few obstacles as possible. This is not a new-feature request, it's a bug.

Markdown-reproduction steps:

  1. Turn off "Hide stems" in filter options of your chosen workspace
  2. Pick any song and request its stems (all stems, 50 credits)
  3. Quickly leave the overlay window that you requested the stems at & witness the titles in Pre-Process still having the stem-appending naming in the title, like "(VOCAL)", "(FX)", ...ect.
  4. Watch the those tags disappearing when generating progress is entering phase 2 'Processing' & all stems look exactly the same. (see screenshots for a visual proof: first one is 'Pre-Processing')

I've opened up a ticket-thread in the #ticket-help topic about this with all intricate detail.

Side note:
I sacrificed several hundred credits for monitoring this & making a report out of it. It clearly isn't a person-specific issue, as the auto-naming of a file is server-sided there, so please have a look, dear SUNO-Team!

I've had a few 7:59's but most of my 5.5 tracks have a terrible crackle in the vocals when the singer sings hard consonants (P's B's S's T's etc), It appears the vocal synth is broken, It's worse with personas but even a simple mode prompt like "a rock song about lost socks" will show the issue. @sand depot will someone from Suno please comment on this issue along with the 7:59 issue and let us know when these will be fixed. Thankfully v5 + sample sounds close to v5.5 but i'm running out of tracks to remix lol

Yes for sure. I would get it occasionally but using 5.5 I have not had a single gen that was not 7.59 and not functioning.
It seems okay at first but nearly halfway through it starts repeating, and it was repeating constantly one word over and over and over rapidly despite the track being an ambient non lyrical track with only one word near the start. As it was missing the whole last half of instructions I can't just shorten the tracks either.

Probably the same thing as when you put something in the "negative" but it just makes that happen more. I barely ever use exclude since everything I try to exclude just gets stronger. I ask for quiet singing in the positive and the singer does their best Whitney Houston impression. I ask for a subtle underscore piece and instead of getting lower energy, Suno just turns my 5 minute original into a 48 second cover. I ask for synth strings in a song and Suno decides that means I want a 4-to-the-floor house beat somehow. This has been happening since the very first models and it's barely changed between versions.

It was tested with 4min + 3 min songs, out of around 12 songs, only 3-4 were longer than 30 seconds. Perhaps you used short songs or got lucky. lol

There's been something off with the 5.5 model lately... For a while now, SUNO has been producing noise, introducing artifacts, strange sounds (like someone screaming), sudden spikes and drops in volume (as if a sound engineer were playing a bad prank), clicks, and so on... At first I thought it was an overload, so I had a contact try it with a light prompt: same problem... Iā€™ve run over a hundred generationsā€”ā€œALLā€ of them have a random glitch... which is statistically improbable... Iā€™m starting to think thereā€™s a deliberate attempt to ā€œspice things upā€ā€”my credits are melting away like ā€œsnow in the sunā€ā€¦ Iā€™m furiousā€”Iā€™ve lost 1,000 credits for nothing (and I donā€™t believe in bad luck anymore). Another bug, now even worse: unfinished tracks do not even make it to 07:59 anymore, they stop around 06:20-06:21. The result is just more incoherence, more broken material, and more credits wasted.

At this point, it is hard not to think something really broke, and that there is not even any real interest in fixing it. It probably works just fine like this: too much money involved, and far too convenient to keep a crowd of wannabe producers happy who cannot tell the difference between a fart and an actual sound, as long as they get to feel like musicians for five minutes.

As far as I am concerned, I think it is truly over. I no longer see any real path toward evolving into something genuinely professional. It will remain what it has become: a toy for fake musicians, useful only for feeding a fragile ego with increasingly mediocre results.

With respect, I do not think there is yet a solid understanding of what professional quality actually means in practice. The output may give the impression of being professional, but in reality it is still considerably below that level and, if anything, appears to be deteriorating with each update. That outcome was, to some extent, predictable given the legal complications that arose. And if 99% of users are satisfied with the current results, there is little reason from a business perspective to pursue the much harder path of meaningful improvement.

Guys, it suddenly became impossible to cover a song (your own or common domain). Either I change the style and insert other instruments into the musical accompaniment and then the melody of the original song is not followed at all, or if I manage to leave the melody, nothing in the style and arrangement changes. Even when I supposedly only use the "add instrumental to vocal" function, it still changes the melody of the vocal. Am I missing something? Until two weeks ago, I had no problems with covers.

Iā€™m a long-time Premier subscriber (since V3) and Iā€™m running into a serious issue that has not resolved.

In both Chrome and Firefox, the voice training feature is no longer available to me.

  • The voice trainer appeared briefly (about 3 days) after release
  • Since then, it has completely disappeared
  • I can still generate voices from existing songs, but I cannot train a new voice at all

After speaking with other users, Iā€™ve confirmed this is not a global issue ā€” the feature is still working for them.

This feature was fully functional for several days on the same system and browsers, so the current absence is not a platform compatibility issue. Since it continues to work for other users, this points to an account-level or backend issue rather than a platform limitation.

I have:

  • Been a paying Premier user since early versions
  • Created thousands of songs on the platform
  • Already used this feature successfully before it disappeared

This is not a usage issue ā€” the feature is simply gone for me.

At this point, I need this investigated as a feature availability or account-level issue, and escalated if necessary.

When this feature became available it instantly became a major part of why Iā€™m paying for Premier, and losing access to it without explanation is extremely frustrating.

Please look into this.

I ve just created an annual account this morning with the android application... everything is ok with the appli...but it s impossible to connect on the web version and access to the full options !!!
