But in the end it's still quite a bit like alchemy. Like brewing or making soup. You have to vibe to it and get a feel for it. It's a thing that must be learned by doing.

Audio quality. - can be the luck of the draw, could be related to genre or slider settings.

Songs getting cut off - Super frustrating! But often this can be made worse by there being more context in use during the making of the song. There is a certain amount of context available in general for a certain amount of song time. Each thing you add or adjust counts against it. Using sliders? That detracts from the context. Covering something? Using a Persona? Or both? These detract from the available pool of context and reduce the overall amount of time available to use for the song. The context here is needing to keep sounds in memory so it can alter or replicate them.

Download issues - Always check the internet connection and service provider on these types of issues. Maybe the browser too?

Tools not working - details needed for this. Many of the tools are in beta or are somewhat new. Personas for instance have a refined vocal extraction model and the classic model that they were introduced with.

A lot of these things can be assisted in #📚┃suno-school assuming they are not actual bugs.

Even if they are, we can likely paper around most of them.

Sample and Mashup i know is new, so i understand that cant be helped, but ppl have had trouble w/ Covers, Extend and Personas. i have read that using Personas have a certain cut-off point when it comes to generating songs w/ lyrics. as youve pointed out, everything youve said could be explained away or fixed, but the problem here is the frequency, and it's hard to explain in more detail due to how hard it is to pinpoint the exact problem and replicate it so the devs can explain what we can do to fix the issue

Every time I come to this forum and read all the horrible things Suno is doing, I get nervous. So I upload one of my demos, cover it, and in a few tweaks, it's all good. I don't touch the sliders, they don't do what they appear to do. Otherwise - even with no prompting -- I get cool results. I have to tweak and render again, but ultimately, it's pretty satisfactory. Yeah, I don't always get coverart (or useful coverart), but that's meaningless to me. I'm here for the music. When I have lousy generations, I backtrack and try to fix what I did wrong, or adjust to something Suno will better understand. Failing that, I take a break and try again later. That's just my experience.

And this is why I tend to prefer using a 'soup' analogy for working with Suno. The soup is always in flux and is like a living thing. You have to balance your approach when adjusting anything in it.

maybe i'm not explaining this well... many of us understand Suno AI isnt infallible. it's going to make mistakes and there will be hiccups. the problem isnt the errors themselves, it's the frequency and inconsistency of the errors

i understand that, but ive been doing the same thing ive been doing since September of last year when i first started using Suno and never had these issues before. ofc getting generations that arent to my liking, but, again, thats a given and you just simply delete, try again and move on, no big deal. but these sudden jarring starts and ends, cutting off lyrics, poor quality seems to happen more frequently

The sliders are your problem. Refresh, start over, create song with no sliders. Regardless of how well they may have worked for you in the past.

thats just it, ive tried. sometimes, yes, it fixes the problem and i just readjust my sliders to where i usually have them and it works. but there are times even leaving it on default has issues. it's like i'm trying to tell you, it's completely random. it's very hard to pinpoint where my problem lies, and it's likely the same for everyone else thats having problems

Btw, that is precisely what info I was trying to get users to present in my original post. Anyway, when you turn the sliders off, your next generation(s) may not have those setting out of the system yet. Start over. Clean the slate, stop using sliders. I promise you will have a healthier Suno experience quickly. As for other users, they're probably making the same mistake as you, thinking the Sliders function works. It doesn't.

Sometimes, there are too many users and that can cause degradation. Be patient, try again later.

Also, keep your prompts brief, so as to not overload AI.

Good move. Sometimes even the order of your prompts can change things. If you decide to change the prompt field around, start over and do it from scratch. AI gets tired after a while. (really!)

i understand that, and i do just get off and let it sit for the rest of the day when the quality dips so horribly it's borderline unusable. i first noticed these issues on...Jan. 30th? yea, i think that was the day i first noticed these random hiccups, but yea around then and i just got off after a few attempts to let it rest. got on the next day, everything seemed fine, cool! maybe the AI was just getting overworked or the servers were a little buggy that day! couple hours go by, it degrades again, so i once again get off. next day? same thing

but it's also a matter of the volume of ppl having these issues, the frequency of these errors occurring. i understand AI isnt perfect, and maybe it is user error in some instances, but the problem is even seasoned users are noticing these problems. sure they have the know-how to get around it, good for them, but the more casual or inexperienced users are clearly having problems and getting no assistance (well, maybe some do, but the problem(s) return even after the fix)

even if it truly is just user error, at least some sort of word of "Hey, nothing is wrong on our end" from the devs so at least we know

or maybe word of theyll investigate just to see if maybe the recent update messed w/ something it shouldn't have?

It's not as many users as you think, despite how it may appear here on Discord. Check the stats on how many user accounts exist at Suno. The amount of users issues discussed here are miniscule by comparison. There's a portion of the population who don't understand how computer algorithms work, so they are approaching this all through a real-word prism. Conflict. Different rules. Different logic. One could say, "newbies", but the end result is the same: frustration in an environment that is new. Back to school. Suck it up and learn what to do and not to do. If the rules change tomorrow, adapt.

And they are doing that, which is why they roll out (invisible) updates so often. They're trying, too. Not in their best interest to piss off customers. But when one bug is fixed, it tends to create another. Computer Programming 101. They do regular patches, then monitor the boards to see what effect(s) it is having. Then go try to fix THAT bug. I used to be a software beta-tester, I know. And this programming is a different can of worms, considering the random nature of the engine that is AI. We can either work with it, or jump ship. I'm here for the long haul

Generally, for issues affecting songs, a link or two for songs where the issue(s) are present are the most useful way to report specific bugs (in addition to a description of what the problem is.) Beyond being able to hear the problem for ourselves, we can also look into details of the song data.

Because sliders can have quite a significant impact (both positive, and negative) on what gets generated, it's a good idea to try default sliders to first of all see if that helps at all, and if it doesn't it gives a "default settings" example for us to investigate.

Aside from this, click/tap the thumbs-up for songs that sound good, and thumbs-down for songs that sound bad. This won't have a direct/immediate effect but gives us feedback on what's good/bad.

So i'm having the same Issue with this Overdriven and super loud creations. So since you asked for Links... here we go with some examples from the last 30min:

I was asked if I could generate a song for a wedding between a Swiss and an Indian woman. To get a feeling for what musical direction this could go, I generated a placeholder text for the lyrics, defined different styles and pressed "Create". No control adjustments, no “fancy” style adjustments, etc.

And here are some of the SUPER LOUD and - in my opinion - overdriven created songs:

Then I thought, let AI generate the style based on the manually entered styles. I also defined negative styles (so that I could perhaps reduce the volume a bit). With the following results:

I can load into other songs fine, it is just this one

I've definitely noticed a drop off in audio quality and generations generally. Big drop in vocals. Also about 50% of my gens now don't exceed 1:30 minutes. basically unusable for a song. I do the auto lyrics create. However I had premier for a long time and then dropped to pro for a year subscription so I'm not sure if things are throttled for pro members and premier is better. idk

As im trying to do this "Mashup", i keep getting a warning saying, inappropriate prompt but the description is only (80s vaporwave trip hop, keyboard, guitar, synthesizers, sounds more like de la soul break of dawn, rap, bass, male rapper, song is about flowin on the music air waves)
which is not bad at all. The person you suno picked for the mashup, well in his lyrics he says the N word so if its going off of lyrics in the song, well, you picked him. Not my deal. This is a contest so if the system is conflicting by your own guy, thats your fault. So far though, there is no prompt, only Song Description. TBH i wouldnt mind seeing a prompt on what suno is using in the prompt to make the song. So far there is hidden prompt so idk what your system is doing.

Update (Feb 5): The issue seems to be FIXED with today's update. I re-ran the exact same prompts that failed last week, and the Persona/Cover logic is working correctly again. The 'childish' quality is gone. Looks like the devs rolled back the bad patch or fixed the pipeline.

Hi all, not necessarily a bug, but just an observation. nI just feel lke this will get lost in General Chat. I use synthwave and 80s synth as general styles for my songs.I have a song I've been playing with, and I've been using v5 since it came out. I just tried using v4.5+ and v4.5, and I feel like v4.5/+ does some things way better than v5. For example, the variety of sound style is better with v4.5/+ is better than v5. The songs on v5 all sound fairly similar, but v4.5/+ songs all sound a bit more different. Also, v4.5/+ also end songs "properly", and by that I mean the last second or two isn't cut off like in v5, which I brought up earlier in this chat.

However, v5 does do some things better, like instrument solos are more defined in v5. Not so much in v4.5/+. But saxophones sound better in v4.5/+, more real. In v5, they sound weird, like you can tell it's synthetic. I don't know how many people are having these same experiences, but if anyone has tips or workarounds for these issues, please share! 🙂

Absolutely have this too. I feel some of the instrumentation in 4.5 is more “authentic” indie 80s, whereas I get the sense v5 feels homogenised as too modern aesthetic and over compressed

7:59 bug still in action. very frustrating. I managed to get some gens without it and also managed to get a few where SUNO doesnt ignore my prompts with personas to NOT LIFT WITH THE CHORUS LIKE THEY USED TO! The one thing I continually have issues with is the level of ridiculous lift for the chorus. it ruins way too many vocal tracks. Guess i have to go back to instrumentals only until this actually works.

The personas i created specificlly have a flat and bored cadence. They used to manage to generate chorus without such a high degreee of dramatic lift. They work as they used to in verse. sing song, raspy quality. Flatish delivery. Hit the chorus and they lose the quality they used to and go into corny overdramatic anthemic chorus. Is it just me or the Ai is very bugged at the moment? Not only the cover arts aren't generating at all or they are simply not generating properly, what i mean is the images generated for the cover arts are usually somewhat related to what the song is about but now when they generate its just simple shapes or some blurred stuff that is barely understandable and looks like a bad 3D render of a shape you did at 15 years old just to test your 3D rendering skills, it also has absolutely no relation to what the song is about. Also for a couple of days now the songs i generate all sounds bad with a huge amount of shimmer in the voice, as for the rest of the song it sounds like the AI started to lack creativity, the songs sounds like they were put together really fast (i know its an AI so it does put together songs very fast but you know what i mean haha), this by the way happens all the time it doesn't matter the slider settings, the style used nor the model version. If i remember correctly it started when i used the upload audio feature, i uploaded an old song i made long ago with V3 to test the remaster with V5 thing and after i remastered it is when i think everything just broke and now i don't really know what to do... I recently subscribed to the Premier version of Suno Studio and am encountering significant issues. The platform takes an unusually long time to load, and when I attempt to open or work on any file, the page freezes. Even after leaving it for a while, it doesn't respond.

I’ve tried accessing the platform using Opera, Chrome, and Safari, but the issue persists across all browsers. My setup includes a Mac Studio M2 Ultra with 64GB of RAM, and I have more than enough available storage, so I don't believe the issue is on my system's end. Additionally, I’m connected to the internet via Ethernet with speeds exceeding 900Mbps, so I don't think it’s a network issue either.

It might not be specific to that persona, or it could be a combination of the sound of its vocal stem combined with the audio influence. Just as something to try: Maybe try the older "Style Persona" (you can select this using the cog wheel next to the persona after selecting it) to see if this captures more of the original vocal qualities, as you mention the bathroom acoustics it's possible that's not carrying across with the newer persona being focused specifically on the voice.

one of the big things that needs worked on is total Ai recreation of original songs when applying covers. If your prompt is anywhere NEAR the originals prompt, even if both are under, say, the general rock umbrella, but the persona/styling being applied is a different subgenre, such as a shibuya-kei/indie math rock thing vs. electronic rock + alt rock, the AI legitimately appears to not be able to distinguish the difference between the two, and simply adds some instrumentation while creating the original basically dead on, allowing people to literally just copy an original gen, not really remix it, and try to take it for their own, which I've seen on the for you page many times now. Albeit there's noticable differences, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the remix system

I've tested this thoroughly. Hundreds of credits on the same cover with an electronic rock persona consistently returns a similar result. Been an issue for multiple versions of the model to this point.

Issue Summary

On an original song page (example: Bloomer – Moving On), multiple remix/cover tracks appear in the Remix panel. However:

• Only the primary/featured remix can be played inline on the original song page
• Secondary remix tracks display a play icon but do not start playback
• These same secondary remix tracks play correctly only when opened on their own dedicated song page

I create a song with a title. (Example: This song has a long title) It displays fine in the library but when I generate the song to a video It truncates the title instead of resizing it to fit. (Example: This Song has A Long Tit...) Anyone know if there is a workaround to this? I tried leaving the title blank so that I can edit later but then it automatically adds the title as "Untitled".

Hey everyone,

I've seen many reports here (including my own) about Suno tracks suddenly sounding distorted, clipping, or way too loud recently. The support team keeps saying "nothing changed on our end" - and after some deep digging in the last days, I found out they are actually right.

If you are on Windows 11 (specifically the 24H2 update), the OS update likely messed up your audio driver settings and gain staging. Suno tracks are mastered very loud (near 0dB), and the new Windows default settings are pushing them into digital clipping.

Here is how to fix it and get clean audio back:

1. Disable "Audio Enhancements" (Most important!)
Windows 24H2 tends to re-enable "Device Default Effects" or "Loudness Equalization" which acts like a compressor. This destroys the dynamic range of AI music.

• Go to Settings > System > Sound.
• Click on your audio device (e.g., Speakers/Headphones) to open Properties.
• Scroll down to Audio Enhancements.
• Set this to OFF.

2. Disable Spatial Audio

• In the same menu, check Spatial Audio.
• Make sure "Windows Sonic for Headphones" is set to OFF. This adds artificial reverb and EQ that sounds terrible with Suno artifacts.

3. The "Pre-Amp" Trick (For Creative Sound Blaster / Realtek users)
If it's still distorting, your sound card is amplifying the signal too much before it hits the output. Since we can't change the mastering of the song, we need to create "Headroom".

• Open your Audio Software (Sound Blaster Command, Realtek Console, or Equalizer APO).
• Go to the Equalizer.
• Find the Pre-Amp (or Pre-Gain) slider.
• Lower it to -6dB or even -10dB.
• Result: The clipping should stop immediately because the signal is no longer hitting the "digital ceiling".

Hope this helps anyone who thought Suno broke the audio quality! It's likely just Windows being Windows. 😅

Yes I believe they have the vocals too loud. Theres no setting to control vocal volume, and theirs is redlining. Thats the source of the vocal hiss effect. Turn the vocals down and there will be much more it can do and a much softer sound, they dont need to be maxed out. But theres no setting so.

When I select songs from a workspace and want to move them to another workspace, I right click the songs and click "Move to workspace", a workspace selection window is presented and I choose the workspace I want, the window closes and nothing happens. Also, when we have evening in Europe overall sound quality is much worse than in the morning - almost every generation have noisy high freqs, bad stereo and degrades even further towards end of song.

I have just witnessed this DISAPPEAR again, in REALTIME, while I did absolutely nothing but listen to the freshly generated song.
What could be the cause of this and why isn't anyone else reporting it?
I just refreshed the song's page and bam, it was gone.

1. the author isn't gonna get notified about it (I think)
2. I have to tell manually that it's a remix
3. it (probably) isn't listed among the remixes of the song

so yeah, "show original song this was remixed from", please make that checkbox do what it says it does.
EDIT: this is a new variant of the bug, lol. The "remix origin" for my last remixes DO appear in the vertical pane of the song info now. But NOT in the song's full page (where it totally should, and totally did until I refreshed the page & saw it disappear)
EDIT 2: after passing through the "editor", the link in BOTH the side pane and the song's page are gone (but still show in the song's settings!)

About my problem again, with suno not crediting the original of a remix. Suno appears to be displaying/not displaying the credits in various places according to different flags, this is insane:
-in the song's details editing page - it's always displayed here (but obviously no one can see it except yourself)
-in the song's full page at the top - it generally disappears here first
-in the right vertical pane in "create" - it often disappears there too, but not always
-in the right vertical pane in your profile's page - it can NOT appear here while it does appear in "create". Crazy that those side panels are different!
So that's it, "remix origin" is very buggy.
My guess is that there would be 3 different flags: one that says that the song is a remix, one that shows to the creator of the remix that the song is a remix, and one that shows to the public that the song is a remix. And somehow 2 of these flags get randomly switched off.

And here's how pretty much all songs (not all as bad, but all following the same pattern) have been rendering this whole day: they start metallic-sounding (but still ok enough) and it gets progressively worse, up to unbearable at the end. It's like the entire mid-range is gone.
Right now songs take ages to start and they don't generate an image anymore, but I don't think that's related, as yesterday the problem was already there to a degree, but songs were quick to generate.

Sound degradation towards end of the song was always a thing. However, it has never been so bad as it is now. Your song is good example. Not only is has noisy metallic sound - you can also notice that stereo field is poor since beginning and at the end it gets almost monophonic. A chance to get bad sound is very high lately

Btw, is it was a new song or a cover, did you used a persona? I personally don't use personas (new version) because they always sounds bad. I have to use covers often however, and unfortunately covers degarde faster (earlier) compared to new songs.

Bug, adding a persona breaks the Mashup. You pick a song to mashup, select Persona, it asks Overwrite or Keep, pick one, it erases the Mashup, and gives you the Persona (Only), deleting the Mashup. It worked at first, but now it can't.

With the Persona there, it also removes the Mashup section completely where you cant create one unless you go back again, select the song to mashup, and then it asks you, want to keep the lyrics or overwrite? Again, deletes the mashup again, you get the Persona, no mashup

Bug report, in the workspace, if you delete some songs, and then try to delete a few more again, it wont let you delete them after the first time. You are forced to refresh the page in order to do it again, and you have to keep doing that if you want to delete things that you want.

This issue is being looked into. Until a fix is available, there is a way to avoid this happening: Don't select a "Vocal Gender" in the Advanced Options. I see you have also included "Female vocal' in your style prompt - this should be enough (along with the Persona you have chosen.)

This might seem an odd workaround for the problem but it should work, from what I've tested.

The original song has no Style (it disappeared after editing in Studio), and I set it as a Persona. I entered a Style field when I make it, but the entered Style is ignored and ends up blank. Even if I edit the Persona from the Library and add a Style there, it is still ignored and remains empty. It seems that the only way is to manually add the Style at the time of generation each time.

Hello Suno team, I’m experiencing a frustrating issue while using the Studio web UI on my iPad. Whether I use my finger, a connected mouse, or the trackpad of my keyboard case to adjust the volume or pan sliders, the input gets 'stuck.' Once I touch a slider, it stays attached to the cursor, and the only way to release it is to refresh the page. If I’ve touched multiple sliders, they all begin to move simultaneously with the cursor.

This doesn't happen on my Android phone (Pixel Fold), where it works perfectly, but it's persistent on iPadOS. Since my iPad is my primary computer, this bug significantly impacts my workflow. I’d love to see a fix for this, as the iPad's screen size and aspect ratio are perfect for using Suno. Thank you!

My last generation actually said the command to stop the song, before continuing on, when it should have actually ended the song. That one went all the way to the 7:59 mark.

So this has happened two days in a row and its seemingly mid day. the bug was both on the home page and and where you could sign in. Chunk errors when clicking on sign in. Maybe its deployment related? Did you guys push a deployment today? Maybe the chunks are cached and when you switch the old chunks are cached?

There hasnt been any recent issues reported since December/January-ish. Assumed some quiet rollout of patches have fixed it for most.

Otherwise, the sidebar issue in Studio seems resolved. We found the Radio and Explore in the new Labs section.

As for Hooks, then, doing everything to assure any patch gets through to update is paramount.

Many like to maintain a url to quickly log in, so checking that you've gone further and logged out and logged in as well.

If you feel that's all covered, then I think you had an earlier email regarding this, already out there to Support -- and its close to 30 days since you sent it? Should be getting a response soon then, Id say.

If your local ISP has some dodgy firewalls that might be keeping patches from coming through, using the VPN might momentarily allow time to update your app or browser. Then make sure you do a restart again.

I wouldnt continuously use a VPN though as that can get your account locked or banned, according to TOS.

I don't usually use one, I happened to log onto SUNO while I had it up and noticed that I could suddenly access hooks. I checked TOS, your referring to situations where IP blocking has occurred right? I haven't gotten any warnings or violations on my account, and write all my own lyrics, so there isn't anything that would flag it unless Suno doesn't like VPN's in general.

The only thing I could think of is that I reupload the official music videos from my Youtube AOC to hooks, and maybe a bot didn't realize I owned it. But in that case I'd still get some kind of warning or the hook would be taken down. There's just literally been no communication.

No. I meant your local ISP. The company that supplies your home internet. Thus, if youre outside of the USA and used a VPN once and you saw a Hook Icon, then, possible the patch made it through. Now log out, and restart your router/WiFI and computer.

Not sure if it’s a bug as such but no matter how many times I generate a new track, putting aside the noise at beginning and end and the 7.59 problem on every other generation I make, the new one I have is each new version sounds the same. There’s slight instrumentation changes around the fringes but the lead top line vocal is always the same. I’m getting all the same song over and over.

Negative prompting isn't really recommended, ie: "no <this>, no <that>". It often doesn't work the way you expect it to and will add in the thing you don't want anyway. If you're after "not clean vocals", depending on what you actually want you could try words like gritty, raspy, smoky, distorted vocal texture, raw unpolished vocals, etc. If you need any further help I'd suggest ducking into #📚┃suno-school where they can assist you with further prompting help

I actually tried that for 10 rounds I had in the prompt "gutteral saturated vocals" and it would start with it and then be clean high singing on the chorus.

The only work around I found was to put [gutteral saturated vocals] before each part (verse 1, chorus, verse 2...etc). We used to have to do this back in the suno 3.5 days. I guess we are regressing now?

From my experience as a user only, and as I am not Support:

@lilac estuary @hardy cairn it appears you both then are soft-locked from having two attempts to pay at the same time. A soft-lock happens to avoid further issues from an accidental second attempt.

And with both, you were only charged once, it appears.. So there is no other problem that the soft-lock, as far as I can see.

Only Billing can unlock and reset your account with any adjustments necessary.

You both have apparently contacted DAViD as well to discuss unlocking and resetting the account to the paid status.

That is for Billing to respond once they have

so now theres a 6:50 bug which ignores lyrics and instead of noise the song decides to resing the opening in some way and extending the song. Also some weird mispronunciations and gibberish. Chorus lift is also present on personas that I've created to be flat, along with prompts for it to be flat. i post here and get no responses either. wtf are SUNO doing? Patches and fixes that break something else? And still no transparency or acknowledgment.

I have a question: Why is the model recognition for orchestral instruments so poor, especially during export? Why can't the models be separated according to the rigorous classification system used in classical music, instead of being lumped into the "Other" and "Synth" categories? This is truly baffling？

Setting aside sound quality issues, the MIDI output is also chaotic. All orchestration relationships are generated strictly according to pop music models, which astonished me. If there's a song I particularly like I will often try to cover it but replace the instruments with non-processed ones and clear separation so the conversion process can differentiate between the instruments and detect notes better. Obviously the song itself would sound like trash compared to the original, but the MIDI would read better. Would love a "Prepare for MIDI" option in remix that essentially automates that process

Thanks for your guys discussion. I've also discovered a new issue: under the V5 version, exporting tempo-locked WAVs per track seems to be a waste of effort. They have significant problems, especially being constantly dominated by Suno's MIDI clock, which causes inconsistent MIDI data when imported into the DAW. While some may be usable, phantom errors and high error rates seem particularly prevalent in extremely complex styles. This is a critical issue. Compared to Ace Studio 2.0, Suno is already much more comprehensive and significantly better. My feedback for Ace Studio yesterday was several times more extensive than this.

I'm also quite optimistic about Suno's future development. While it provides highly accurate analysis for simple music, it generates numerous illusions when dealing with complex arrangements involving diverse instrumental styles, genres, and orchestration relationships. This is indeed a challenge that requires significant time and effort to resolve effectively

Yeah it nails simple beats. I have trouble with orchestral scores because it has a difficult time deciding if something is a woodwind or string (probably because the frequencies are so close). Sometimes even a brass crescendo appears in woodwind. It also can't separate stems based on role, ie: lead melody vs rhythm, ostinato, etc so tracks can be really cluttered

My Pro plan was set to expire today at 13:23 PM (per my receipt).
However, the system locked my account and revoked my access around 12:48 PM (35 minutes BEFORE expiration).

Because of this system error, I lost 2,040 credits that I was actively trying to use.

Evidence: I have screenshots proving the time discrepancy (System Clock vs. Receipt Time).
Can someone please look into this? I sent an email to billing but haven't heard back yet.

You have a bug in search related to "." characters. If they are in the name, none of your search works. You could probably just restrict periods in names or fix the underlying bug not fuzzy matching search results. Song is called Yeah... and it doesnt match. I removed the periods and typed "yeah" and it appears to be case sensative. Once i searched "Yeah" the renamed songs showed.

I am trying to upload a full song (approx. 5.5 mins) to my Library to use the Cover feature. The Issue: The system blocks the upload with the error: "Uploaded audio is too long. Maximum duration is 60 seconds."
Expected Behavior: As a Premier user, I should be able to upload full-length tracks (up to 20 mins/50MB usually) for Covers. The system seems to be incorrectly applying the 'Audio Reference' (60s) limit to my account's general uploads.
Please fix this account permission error immediately. I cannot use the features I paid for.

I just noticed that the V5 model quality has somehow gotten worse, it currently sounds very similar to v3.5 (not sure if anyone else is experiencing this). Also, when I remaster vocals using the v4.5 model, the remastered version no longer matches the original vocals like it used to. It now sounds like a completely different person is singing instead of the same voice being enhanced.

Why sound quality is so bad? All models have sound similar to v3.5. And it is getting worse every week. The sound is like 64kbps mp3's back from 2000. Vocals is very noisy and completely lost it's air, high frequencies are unstable, just like an agressive denoiser was applied losing sound details - an issue is most noticeable on quiet parts of songs. Acoustic instruments (like Trumpet or Saxophone) have strange unrealistic sound like EQ is changing every now and then. Many tracks have ugly metallic sound (mid range is attenuated, high freqs boosted and very noisy, poor stereo width which completely collapses to end of song) - those tracks are also don't follow styles well and melody is always like a generic pop song, some of them also have 7:59 issue

Are there at least one non-broken feature? When you use Persona or Inspo - sound quality is always bad and your styles are ignored. Even if you set style influence to 95% - it is not working at all.

Seriously, this is not how you should treat your paying customers. If you are introducing something new which can broke existing functions - just create new model, call it "v6 Alpha", whatever - there will be brave guys who would like to test. But don't touch what was worked well. It's unbelievable that you completely ruined v5. Almost 3 weeks passed since the platform became unusable and getting worse and worse each day.

I've noticed that for a while now when I try to go to the default "My Workspace" it always wants to take me to the next workspace beneath it first, then I have to select again to go to the correct one. It tends to result in mashups/remasters/remixes going into the wrong workspace. Even if I select the workspace I want before gen, it seems to not always obey.

Also, it is just difficult to remember to change the workspace before generation. In fact, I personally feel like it would be ideal if those gens always defaulted to "My Workspace" so we always know where they are going to be. I would rather know their location quickly and move them to the correct workspace myself than have to go to different workspaces to look for them every time. The ability to select the one you want is still fine, I just don't like that it defaults to whichever workspace you are currently in.

Some of that could just be a result of my own errors, but I have heard complaints from others about that same sort of thing, so I don't think it is just me.

I hope I described that in a way that makes sense. It is kind of a bug/layout suggestion mix I suppose.

if i understand it correctly it should be dependent on the audio influence slider as well as weirdness/style influence
for example if you write a text, record it on a beat and use that as the input audio, you can use the cover feature to refine/make it sound good without losing beat/cadence/rhythm etc

The AI does not follow the provided instructions. It adds elements that were not requested and alters the content. I explicitly do not want interjections, doubling, ad libs, echo, or reverb. I expect the output to follow the given text exactly, nothing more and nothing less. The AI still introduces these elements even when the weirdness setting is set to 0% or 15%. Additionally, no generated version is free of at least one pronunciation error.

You're not giving it a list of instructions - you're giving it suggestions, so it can (and quite often will) go off course. Having a high weirdness can affect things as well as that somewhat overrides the style influence.
Be careful with your prompts as well and make sure you aren't negative prompting, ie: no reverb, no ad libs. Stuff you explicitly don't want should go in the exclude styles box in advanced options.

I've only tested it a couple of times myself. It's honestly not something I'd use to release a song with because it can make the vocals/instrument sound a little weird, but if you're wanting to get MIDI it works quite well to remove a lot of the "pollution"

I've tried adding "3 min song length, 3 min, short, compact", in the song styles, not sure if that really works but it seems to.
I'm also trying v4.5+, the sound does not seem to go to crap as the song goes.

Funny that we don't get any acknowledgement of any recent change, the Suno blog says nothing. But clearly many things changed all at once, so many bugs and bad sound suddenly.

So my tip for now (still testing more), avoid v5, switch to v4.5+

edit: now I'm getting "normal" song lengths from v5, but I can confirm that the "sound goes metallic as time goes" does NOT affect v4.5+ which has a way more consistent sound

Geez I'm having the same problem. This is what I wrote suno support: Today the generation model has been highly inconsistent across identical style and lyric inputs. In multiple cases, the first output would be close to the intended tone, but subsequent generations from the same project would drift dramatically in vocal style, articulation, and genre feel without any changes to the prompt. The voice has unpredictably shifted between gravelly/blues-rock textures, soft pop-ballad delivery, talk-singing, rushed phrasing, and mispronounced words, despite explicit style constraints. The model has also ignored bracketed performance cues, failed to consistently honor “use all lyrics exactly as written,” and in some runs introduced unintended ad-libs or altered pacing near the end of the song. These inconsistencies appear to reflect seed or model instability rather than prompt changes, as the same configuration produces drastically different vocal behaviors across regenerations. Because I had to run the same song multiple times simply to obtain one clear, correctly articulated vocal performance, I am requesting a credit adjustment for the repeated generations required to achieve a usable result. I have used the same song all day, I’ve saved a few, still with poor vocals and tried in Studio to achieve desired results and could not. I would like all credits returned to me for all songs produced today with exception to one. I have one song I can use, and that song had to be edited in Suno Studio to fade a song that abruptly ended.

It's very interesting observation. I think I have similar experience, but I never wrote about that here, because I thought - maybe that's just coincidence? But it seems happened several times in last few weeks.

Case 1 (Cover): I had a song with trumpet solo and wanted to replace it with electric guitar solo. So I changed style and replaced bracketed instruction in lyrics. First two generated songs really followed my updated prompt. But all subsequent generations kept trumpet playing.

Case 2 (Cover): I decided to do a Cover with double last chorus. The same thing happened - first two generations it respected updated lyrics, but subsequent generations it always kept single chorus as in original song.

Case 3 (Replace Classic Mode): since I use this function a lot, this is where similar thing happened to me many times. Only first two generated replacements more or less resemble original arrangement of the song (yes they most of time have different volume, EQ, reverb etc, but at least more or less similar voice and arrangement). With subsequent generations it's not respecting song arrangement anymore. What usually help in this case is to select slightly different area for replacement before next attempt.

Anyone other have similar experience? Or is it really just a coincidence since everything is so unstable and unpredictable lately?

Exactly, almost every song have mispronounced words now. For now, if you really liked the song - use Subtle Remaster, this helps most of time. However, since Remaster quality is much worse compared to original version, only use required small portions from remastered version (edit in your favorite DAW, you will need Match EQ, adjust volume and stereo width)

I was copying some prompts over from ChatGPT to test different genres for my Cover song and one of them contained an artist (Daughtry) . I usually remove the names of artists because Suno used to flag the generation and just not let it happen. Now instead of it just saying it can't do the generation it automatically converted the prompt containing "Daughtry" to a comma separated genre prompt within my original prompt. I noticed this also removes the special characters from my original prompt but can add its own where it replaces words like Daughtry. For example:

First, this is cool, because it should help prevent a lot of those refused generations and help people get genre prompts closer to the artists they're inspired by. However this also raises a question regarding prompting Suno in the future. Is the special character removal an inherent behavior of the platform in order to prevent people trying to "hack the model" or the site itself or whatever, and have never actually had any effect on the final prompt and result? Or is this a side effect of the LLM rephrasing the original prompt to remove the flagged name? Regardless, removing the special characters causes some words to mash together (vocal-like becomes vocallike) and could affect the final outcome of the track in undesired or unpredictable ways.

The audio quality varies drastically even when using the same prompt. There's unbearable noise, and the lyrics prompt causes the song to jump backward and forward, skipping entire sections. Additionally, I'm hearing strange sound effects like "Swoosh!", "Heeeing~!", "Yap!!!!", and "Huh! Eetcha!!".

These issues persist even after changing prompts, which suggests something is wrong with the system. I've attempted to generate over 40 times, but all results are unusable.

I've likely generated more songs than anyone else in the past 5 days, so I can confirm this is a systematic pattern, not random bad luck or isolated incidents.

I've noticed a very direct link between the length of the song and the "sound goes to metallic crap" syndrome. If the song is (by luck) around 3min, I'm finding it generally steady, it ends like it started. If it's one of those 5 or 8min songs, generally the sound is already bad after 1min.

i don't usually post here but man suno has been really really bad for the past two weeks things like making 8 minute songs recalling random parts of a song for no good reason. I don't recall wasting this many credits in a single month since the early days of 4. I think over half the stuff it genned this month is not usable in any way. Sound glitches, tracks that basically sound "gutted" overly compressed and thin. Maybe you want us all to end up on studio so we can get the stems and fix the problems suno created in the first place. I hope this is not the case. Am I the only one that thinks its quite redlclious to spend 50 credits on a track that cost 10 in the first place. I'm really curios why everyone is pretending that there is no problems at all with the current offering of v5. Going backwards to 4.5 makes it worse.

I’ve been running into an issue where most of the tracks I generate are getting cut off during the outro — sometimes even halfway through the song. The track just abruptly ends instead of finishing naturally.

Yes that does happen a lot. I just use Suno's AI basic create via Generate Cover Art in the Edit Song Details or you can get an image anywhere. I would put that down to the load of the servers and not being able to do it so it just fails.

After the late-January UI update, many screen reader users cannot access their generated songs.
Typical symptoms:
• Library sounds empty
• Only “Next page / Previous page” is read
• Songs definitely exist but cannot be navigated
• Player controls may appear but no tracks are listed
• Occurs in Edge, Chrome, and sometimes Firefox
This is NOT account data loss.
The tracks still exist — the website switched to a virtual scrolling list that is not exposed to the accessibility tree, so screen readers cannot detect the song entries.

Temporary Workaround (No extensions required)
We can force the page to render real elements so screen readers can see the songs again.
You only need to set this up once.

Step 1 — Create a bookmark fix

January 30th, around and about ~2 AM CET. It started with mispronunciations, then went bananas with feedback for the max possible duration and more and more frequent tinny sounding gens.

My published gens and covers are predominantly 0-9% Weird, very high and close to max Style combined with various degrees of Audio Similarity. After this point in time, going much below 12-15% Weird would more or less consistently end up in feedback or even Suno giving up mid-sentence half-way through the song, often after stumbling during the first verse and starting over and lose the plot completely. Too low or high Weird isn't a requirement for this to happen though - the likelihood just skyrockets.

Over all, after this date I'd rate output as generic sounding, similar to that one gets with default parameters which can only be described as very similar to a lot of other tracks on the service (which granted, does make sense from the perspective of a LLM). I've tested even the most generic prompting, to the more fancy workflows found in various threads (which based on the wording all read like summaries from conversations about prompting with Gippity, Gemini, Claude, etc.), but kept ending up with the same results.

I'm probably just a terrible prompter. 🤷

Since I'm in novelist mode and it's worth echoing as it's still an issue a month and change after the first report: The fix is to "Edit Song Info", delete current cover art image by clicking the trash can icon layered on top of the image, add a character to the summary box (any will do), then click upload file and select your preferred cover art image, then close the file-selection pop-up after the upload is successful and finally; remove the character you added to summary in order to be able to save the change. If you don't add a character before hitting upload, the save button will be grayed out and nothing will be applied. :D

In fear of being muted again, but I'll say it anyway: I struggle to comprehend what the QA process looks like. Worthy mentions being typing fast-ish and overlapping keys end up sending the cursor to the bottom of the Lyrics field, downloads pointed at example.com, and the list goes on.

Still empty space characters (space, enter/newline), along with dashes, parentheses, brackets, curly brackets, also including delimiters that carry no meaning for text encoders; only serve to impose a nonsensical restriction on how detailed prompts could be and thus shouldn't count towards the character limit. These, combined with parsing of delimiters and weighting remaining glitched - all of which surely isn't contributing positively to the issues people are experiencing. Ie: (something:1.2) ending up as (something:1, 2), (something:-0.8) ending up as (something:0, -8) and the implications this have for words akin to "palm-muting" and the actual output being generated. :D

The order seem to be important, but after 2 weeks without Suno, it's all becoming a bit hazy. Oh, but this is just to fix the cover image. The delay that the embedded player struggle with, requires time. I've pasted borked links, then when revisiting chats days later find that the embedded player is working. Only way to force it into a working state I've had success with, is to hurry up the process by generating the lyric/video-thing via Downloads. Other than that, anyone's guess is as good as mine. :D

Humor me by testing the following next time this happens.

Before uploading an image:

1. Click the trash icon in the top right corner (overlaid on top of the default image).
2. Add a space or whatever character you like to the Description box.
3. Upload image as shown in the clip.

After clicking "Save as Cover Art":
4. Remove the character you added to the Description box.
5. Having removed the character, the "Save" button in the bottom right corner should become active and let you essentially apply the image you just uploaded.

This is the thing I've been doing to resolve the issue on my end. No resizing required.

If you visit my profile, we can see that the image selected via the new Cover Art section in Library is drawn for about a second before the default image pops in and replaces it. So the site knows which image it's supposed to use as defined in the Cover Art section, but the logic which decides which image takes precedence is flawed, and it's reflected by the two save functions within a single dialogue box.

You really need to think about fixing your issues; there have been problems for several days now. Here are the issues encountered that many users, including myself, have noticed.
These problems always occur with the second suggestion when creating a song. Often, it creates a song up to 7 minutes and 59 seconds long, even when our lyrics are only 3 to 4 minutes. I have also noticed a very slowed-down change in tempo. I've noticed that sometimes it doesn't follow our lyrics—it skips the intro, mixes up the lyrics, or doesn't finish the song at all. Some people have also noticed that the sound quality is very poor with a lot of distortion.
At the price we pay for the subscription, the least you can do is show some respect by responding to these problems and fixing them. We are wasting our credits for nothing, especially since they are not cumulative. That is the issue: we are going to lose our monthly credits while we have ongoing projects. So hurry up and fix the problem.

If our credits were cumulative each month, I wouldn't mind waiting several weeks for the problems to be resolved before continuing, but that's not the case.

Has anyone else noticed this?

In Suno 5.0 (beta), German pronunciation often feels worse / less intelligible for me compared to v4.5:

• Depending on the style, the singer sounds like they’re slurring/mumbling (“lalling”)
• Words/syllables get swallowed (unclear articulation, missing consonants/word endings)
• Result: lyrics are much harder to understand, which makes German song generation less usable

I regularly get feedback from my community/viewers, and a frequent comment is: they often can’t even understand what’s being sung in parts of the track. I end up having to overlay/show the full lyrics on screen so they can follow and fully understand the song.

v4.5: noticeably cleaner German enunciation for me (less mumbling, fewer swallowed words).
v5.0: wider/bigger soundstage overall, but the German intelligibility trade-off is significant.

If devs want reproducible cases, I can share prompts/lyrics and A/B comparisons (4.5 vs 5.0).
Would be great if others could reply with their examples too (style used + short clip/timecode).

While switching my plan from Pro to Premier, I was charged twice for the monthly subscription. It looks like the duplicate payment happened during the plan change process.

I just emailed support about the same thing, but I was also downgraded to from Pro to Free. and it reset my credits. It says "upgrade to pro" everywhere, and I go to upgrade screen, I can only downgrade and I have 2 premiere invoices back to back yet got none of the 10K credits.

And now it says something different on every screen.

It says upgrade to Premiere and if I click home it changes to Upgrade to Pro.

And now the app shows the current plan as Premiere.....

ive read its weird at 0% on here. it didnt used to do this. The other problem ive also run into is persona behavior where it ignores prompts. turn up weird and it starts to improvise more. i used to set it at 20% -0% with no problems. Some of the personas ive created were created to be restrained in the chorus. SUNO's overperformance borders on the corny and overwrought. Its way too much. I prefer a mellower, calmer performance throughout and since these problems started a few weeks back, the personas stopped behaving and started overperforming on top of this 7:59 issue and the issue of the song not ending correctly. Im running into all of these issues which is frustrating. i dont want to keep wasting credits testing out if they've fixed anything. Yesterday I was testing with 4.5 again and was getting better performance results, even though the vocals were a bit more inconsistent. I suppose i could just write to Support every day, but all I get from them is "we're aware of the problem and are working on it" autoresponders.

Yeah fr, after over a year on pro I just decided to upgrade to try out the studio, and instead was charged for 2 Premiere plans and completely demoted from the Pro plan back to free.

And Suno, prioritize fixing your payment portal. I've used the same backend on many a service, and none of which have managed to botch their implementation of it to this extent. HOW are people charged twice and get downgraded to a free account? It's bordering on unbelieveable. And I've gotten got by the payment portal myself once as I thought I could pay in NOK and save on the conversion fee (which isn't the case, we're still billed USD, it just converts the sum displayed on the webpage...It's just...Wow...) ending up in the very same situation. Luckily David was responding to my DMs at that time and were able to resolve it quickly. I can't imagine the frustration building among those who have been waiting for you guys for literal months now. This is shameful. This is literal fraud. Rethink everything. Please. Save the model.

I bailed four months ago because i got tired of David H's gaslighting on deadlines and improvements. I'm actually waiting for them to finish Niji V 7 before i go back. I used Niji more than MJ for illustration styles. i found it more versatile and was able to get so much more than Anime out of it. MJwas improved for the type of work i do but i have access to more tools. MJ is falling behind and still the endless promises that nevr arrive.

Usually a combination of Seedream and nano banana can get me where I want to be. But I do miss being able to erase an area and have the AI fill it in with what I need. Rather than regenerating the whole image.

They got complacent imo. The early players always do. I had 3 Suno accounts at one point, consolidated down to one, didnt touch it for a bit then tried to give them more money and now I have 0 apparently. MJ was sitting pretty, did nothing, and now I can turn my head from the left to right and find a free option that does it just as well, not to mention the rest of my suite. Suno thinks they are going to be the ai pro-tools or something and it seems like the are putting their eggs in the soon to forgotten basket too.

I have to ask because we had someone who was raising a fuss a while back who had apparently never actually sent email in. And others have sent email to non-existant addresses, I assume autocorrupt was involved there.

When I try to create a song using my own voice in the Personality section, I get an error like the one shown in the screenshots. I checked online and found that many people experienced this error 8 months ago. OK -- the workaround of deleting all the lyrics in my previous clips, extending with "outro" and then "get full song" still works
