one workaround I employ is to supply chord tags with lyrics that have a similar syllable count. You won't get a 1:1 copy, but it can have a very familiar sound. For example, for O Holy Night I did something like this:

2. some projects just lead to Studio CRASH (!) wtf? with almost no chance to start Studio again;
3. renaming projects inside Studio very frequently doesn't change the name of project in "Open Projects" window or create ghost dublicates with old/new name; sometimes it needs minutes to update;
4. the project filter is totally broken - if I type "MT" (part of first letters of some projects started with "MT ...") some projects are shown, when I add space - some of those projects disappear and appear other projects;
5. the projects filter doesn't support partial matching or it is extremely bugged - for example, I can't find anything if I type few letters from first word and few letters from last word;
6. "Open Project" window is too small, nothing can be seen and there's too little information "what's inside" - absolutely unusable;
7. "Recently Deleted" tab with "Newest First" shows nothing, but pressing "Oldest First" shows something;
8. Project field "Notes (optional)" never remembers what was written there;
9. a ton of Projects I never created in Studio - seems like it creates Projects randomly for generated audio;
10. the issues are browser-independent (Chrome, Edge, Firefox);
11. the support team (support[at]suno.com) doesn't respond to tickets - absolute ignorance;

Studio is unusable, I can't do anything and time ticks, Premier plan is not working now for me - I just burn a ton of time to check "which one of this bunch of projects will trigger MY current project to normal state?"

The Advanced Options, i have the slider moving all the way down to 0 for weirdness, and audio influence so that it doesnt copy the exact Audio of the Persona but it does anyways. Whether you slam it to 100% for the influence or 0% its the same. It literately copies the exact persona of the song. The style influence is at 100% but thats to match the style which is grunge rock. It doesnt change a thing with the slider. Basically making it useless.

Whenever you try to upload a image a the playlist header image and the filesize is to big something in the set_metadata http request throws a bad response and this isnt handled correctly which then makes the saving component think it is still going and the UI will not correctly throw a error message. There's a play list bug. It just started today. If I add a play list as an inspiration. It makes the instrumental track length 4:15. The track generated is actually longer than 4:15, because cuts it off.

• If I add a playlist with 4 tracks - track time is 4:15.

• If I add a playlist with 2 tracks - track time is 6:15.
• If I add a playlist with 1 tracks - track time is 7:15.

I can duplicate this 100%.

Anyone else grappling with drifting BPMs from extracted stems? I mainly work in Ableton, when I import stems extracted from Suno it normally takes over an hour to sort out the driting, ive tried playing with the different extract options including Tempo Lock and Manual BPM, at various BPMs with multiple songs. I read the announcement that newer, more advanced models are coming in 2026 and that current models will be deprecated. I hope this doesn't mean v5 will remain in beta indefinitely—especially since there's currently a significant bug affecting it.
The issue: I constantly have to sign out and back in for the actual v5 model to generate my songs. Even when the model selector shows v5, it often doesn't use the real v5.
How I can tell the difference:
When it's not using the real v5:
• It mixes up male and female voices
• EDM sounds muddy (similar to 4.5+)
• It can't handle unusual requests, like rap sections in the middle of a rock song
When it is using the real v5:
• It follows all my prompts accurately
• It never confuses male and female voices
• It rarely mispronounces Finnish or other foreign languages
• EDM sounds crisp, polished, and emotional
Could this bug be investigated and fixed?

I’m a Premier user and really impressed by what Suno can already do, but there is one area where the model consistently struggles: quiet, modern jazz in the ECM/chamber-jazz tradition. Whenever I request an intimate guitar + bass duet or sparse chamber-jazz texture, the model defaults to country, rock, or blues-inflected language, even with strict negative prompts and no-drums instructions.

There’s currently no reliable way to generate the kind of floating-time, harmonically open music associated with artists like Bill Frisell, John Abercrombie, Dave Holland, Ralph Towner, or Thomas Morgan. This style depends on non-functional harmony, chromatic voice-leading, wide intervals, irregular phrasing, and subtle interaction between two instruments—without any automatic groove, percussion, or Americana elements.

A dedicated “Jazz Mode” or ECM-style chamber-jazz tag would make a huge difference and open up an important musical space that Suno doesn’t yet support. Here’s an example of the type of sound I’m referring to:

I purchased a Pro Plan account and then realised that it did not include the Studio option, so I purchased the Premier Plan and I am having a problem with my account, which tells me that I am on the Premier Plan. I made the transfer twice because my account says, "We were unable to process your recent subscription renewal.
To continue creating, please update your billing information and try the payment again."
I do have access to Studio and I do have 10,000 credits, but I can't create any songs because I get an error message saying ‘Your subscription is past due. Please upgrade your payment method.’

My bank details are up to date and correct because I was unfortunately debited twice (can you refund my subscription?).

Can you tell me what to do to unblock my account so that I can use it quickly?

there's a bug in studio where it reads the BPM incorrectly for song edits and that BPM is automatically applied to the edited part when the track is added to studio. for example, the original song is 160 bpm but studio reads the edited parts as 80 bpm and it would actually play those edited sections at 80 bpm making it sound like the song is lagging

Hi, I attempted to get my stems to a song and it gave me an "Internal Server Error". When refreshing the page my credits were gone but no stems. I sent an email and was referred to the knowledge base. That was last week. today the credits refreshed and I was 5 short.

I was working in Suno Studio trying to replace a tiny clip or phrase in my song. I had taken the precaution to register with the US Copyright Office all the lyrics to the songs on the album I'm working on (all my authorship). So, I went to generate the clip and I kept getting an error that the lyrics contained copyright material! Well DUH! MY COPYRIGHT!! Is there some way around that? So I can work with MY OWN COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL?? Yes, I do own the copyright (certificate pending). This is crazy because the lyrics to the clip I'm working to regenerate is very basic so how could that small phrase be copyright anyway when it'd have to be a whole song to be copyright. It was weird.

suno always wants to make the song as long as it was in the very first generation, even when it doesn’t make sense anymore. so if the very first create was 4 minutes long, you extend it and it would naturally end at 2:30 and only needs an [end] that is a few seconds long — but suno almost always wants to add so much that it gets close to 4 minutes again. this happens constantly. often the hook also gets repeated even though it’s not in the lyrics.

Evidence: The browser console shows persistent 403 Forbidden errors on studio-api endpoints (specifically update_reaction_type and gen), regardless of the network or device I use.

Troubleshooting Done:

Cleared cache/cookies.

Switched to completely different networks/IPs.

Tried Incognito mode.

The 403 error follows my account, not my IP address. Support suggested checking my connection, but the console logs clearly indicate a server-side permission block on my user ID.

At this rate I can't work with Suno anymore. This is absolute bullcrap! What is this AI good for if it can't read any lyrics, any prompts or guidance at all? If a song has still a bridge, solo, final chorus and an outro left and it is cut off. Regardless where i set the marker regardless if I extend over and over again. I use a small part put it together and then extend again only with the damn outcome that I get another 2-max.10 Sec portion. especially with V5. With 4.5+ you might get longer Version but either the sound quality is terrible or the whole structure of it is absolute dogsh.t! A mess of glitches and not following lyrics (which is still another MAJOR issue you guys just ignore since 5 came out because there is soooo much freakin misspelling which is no fun anymore. I do not even seek for perfection anymore I am already happy with the misspelled word is kinda ignorable. Because at this state perfection is nothing you get from Suno)

I just logged in from a completely different browser and can confirm the accounts are indeed separate, yet they share the same last Studio projects.
What worries me even more is that the project I worked on last night has disappeared. There is no saved data for December 1, which makes no sense. It was there yesterday, and now it's gone. 🙁

1. Song length problem
   All generated songs are extremely short (around 1 minute or less).
   When I first subscribed, I could create longer songs.
   Now it feels impossible to make anything close to a full-length track.

2. Extend feature not working
   When I click "Extend," my credits are deducted, but the extended version never appears anywhere.
   It is not saved, not visible in my library, and the waveform does not update.
   I cannot find the extended audio at all.

3. This has affected my work
   Because of these issues, I could not complete my work today.
   I am a paying subscriber, and it is very discouraging that these problems began less than a month after I started using the paid plan.

I need clear answers:

• Why were these changes made?
• Will the song-length limitations be removed again?
• Will the Extend feature be fixed so that the result is actually saved?
• Is there a possibility of restoring the previous functionality?

Right now, it is very difficult to continue using Suno in this state.
Please give me a definite answer on whether these features will return to normal.

1. My songs are always very short now (about 1 minute), and I cannot create full-length tracks anymore. This was not the case before, and it is extremely limiting.

I would say at least 1000 credits be loaded to everybody's accounts along with a apologetic statement of accountability to your customers. and you may sustain your customer base, because at this rate almost everybody wants to leave. you have run of out screw-ups. What's the point to have all the new upgrades when you have hardly the fanbase that you once had? we wont be there to use them. Once you lose trust, you lost the people. I personally don't trust you with a label sniffing around. We creative people don't want to be harnessed or told what we can't do on especially what we paid for. we will not deal well with squelching out ability to be creative. keep that in mind. 1. Give us 1000 credits back. 2. keep our tiers or upper tiers the same. 3. Don't allow the label to interfere with your subscription base users user abilities to move freely. I am getting repeated false positive moderation blocks whenever I use the Afrikaans word “dink”, which simply means “to think”. It is extremely frustrating because the word is completely harmless in my language, yet your system treats it as inappropriate content.

Please update the moderation filters so Afrikaans users can create music without having normal everyday words blocked. It becomes very annoying to rewrite lyrics for no reason, especially when “dink” is such a common and essential word.

I initially reached out on October 2, 2025, asking for an upgrade to the $144/year plan with a discount. I also asked Suno Support to explain the difference between the likes on my individual songs and the overall likes on my profile, as it was confusing.

On October 10, Suno Support (RK) replied, confirming they would honor the promotional pricing. They advised me to cancel my current App Store/Play Store subscription and send them a link to one of my songs so they could create a personalized coupon code.

I replied on October 25, confirming that I had already canceled my subscription and providing a song link: https://suno.com/song/7064e66d-9fab-4fac-8ce8-bb1770e66003. I also reminded them about my question regarding the difference in likes.

On November 18, David from Suno Support provided the discount codes, confirming I was eligible for:

Premier Annual:(50% off, making it $144/year)

He noted that my current subscription was active until November 28, 2025, and I could use the codes after that date.

Since my old subscription expired, I tried to resubscribe. On December 2, I emailed David to say that I couldn't remove a "Black Friday deal" at checkout to enter my own code, and I needed to make a song because I ran out of credits.

Finally, on December 3, I reported more issues: my card was declined, and after trying another card, the system told me the coupon code I was trying to use was "expired." I asked for a new, working code.

For example, if I want to add a vocal to the instrumental that I created myself in my DAW and loaded into Suno (uploaded audio), in the vocal it copies my instrumental and adds parts of the instrumental in the background. The generated vocal stem must be 100% clean and consistent EQ, compression, leveling throughout. Please solve this problem.

I'm having the hardest time understanding what Heal Edits is supposed to do — or whether I'm encountering a bug.

I open a song in Studio or Editor. Replace a couple of small sections with more precise prompts. That introduces some gaps and stutters, so I select the sections and choose Heal Edits. The result is ...

I know what I think it should do — it sounds like it would smooth out the obvious transitions between the old sections and the new — but that's not what it does.

Yeah, be wary of going too close to the 0% or 100% points on the scales. Weird things tend to happen at the extreme edges. ;

Suno has to do quite a lot of guesswork and reading between the lines to add vocals to an existing instrumental song. I've always found it distinctly hit and miss as well - IMO, not so much a bug as the underlying exercise being quite difficult.

The machine does it's best, but if you want a song with lyrics it's best to either create it that way to start with, or if you're having difficulty, sing the vocals as well or as poorly as you like over the instrumental track to give Suno the structure and cadence - upload it and cover or remaster it. Suno is VERY good at working with audio inputs, and can do some really incredible work with that.

The best things tend to happen there. I don't see why it should ever be able to confuse a system prompt with the actual prompt itself at these numbers. If so, we are given access to values that are essentially a waste of resources for absolutely everyone involved. :)

I'm completely fine with garbage output as I'm essentially asking for random. Singing the system prompt is not random. It's a glitch. :D

The style prompt can sometimes be misinterpreted as lyrics due to the way the models work. Typically this is more likely to happen if the style prompt is formatted in a way that makes it look like lyrics - e.g. splitting it across multiple lines, using brackets (usually indicates a backing vocal in lyrics), etc. In some cases if words/phrases exist in the lyrics that are also mentioned in the style prompt this may form a kind of association between the two.

They're separated by a newline. No brackets present. No association that I can remember, but would have to verify. I have no insight, but it strikes me as odd. I get that the context merge at a point, but clearly IDE's are able to get an agent to output code into the editor, and not its internal dialogue or as in this case; the system prompt equivalent.

Another thing that still seems to be a bug, is that v5 is incapable of doing what the descriptions for Regenerate and Replace says (Edit: Meaning, play around context or ignore a track's context). It does generate similar stuff, but nothing that can be cut and dragged into place without an insane amount of effort. Certainly nothing akin to a musician jamming with the band.

So, back to the one-armed bandit, then return for some minor touch-ups, repeat.

For instance, backing vocals. On week 1, I could generate backing vocals for days on end and it'd align with the track, harmonise perfectly, etc. By week 2, started becoming useless, requiring a lot of cutting. Week 3 it's not even a feature worth spending time on anymore. I'm now into Week 1 of my second month and ... it's still trending downwards. :D

I enjoy the process of playing engineer/producer still though, but it's far, far from the tool it's advertised as.

Also, yes, beta. Consider this feedback, and perhaps a canari if nobody else is whining about this. :D

The newline would be my most likely suspect in this case. It's possible to put style prompts inline with the lyrics square brackets, typically inside square brackets [like this] so there's not a 100% clear internal distinction between the two - if something looks like lyrics, the model will most likely sing it, if it looks like a style description, it most likely won't.

Yea, but that's the thing tho, It seems to only happen at either 0 or 100%, and fairly consistently when it happens. Then after any given amount of time, suddenly I can more or less carbon copy an existing song - but with updated lyrics. Same tab, same lyrics (past minor grammatical changes or attempting to improve on rhythm), same style, page not been refreshed in hours.

But it is probably as you say, something I'm overlooking or wouldn't consider similar. God knows what these things associate.

I don't know if this is a bug, but... Export the song (without vocal tracks or whatever), import to a new project, try generating there. I have a theory that even though a track (including the original where the stems were extracted from) is muted, clip deleted, or otherwise obliterated from the project - the context remain as it keeps generating the same error in instruments so long I keep working in the same project.

If generating a new track works in the new project, export it, pop over to the other tab with the original project open, then drag it in there.

That way you get to keep working with all your cuts and not have to migrate back and forth depending.

If you're never gonna return to the old project, then it's a different story, but I'm also beating a well dead horse at this point.

(It even goes as far as to exactly replicate the sudden change in guitar amplifier sound I'm trying to get rid of, for example)

Oh, once I had to actually download the wav file, re-upload it, open in new project and finally the old context were dropped.

Not sure if coincidence, but I was struggling with the same thing and tried every which way I could come up with, and the re-upload wav and import to new project thing was the last thing I tried and actually resulted in a gen that wasn't just repeating old mistakes.

i've got a great track that i want to use as a battle theme for an rpg, but i want to clip out the slower, softer parts to keep it energetic, but it just won't work for me. whenever i click "heal edits" it just replaces the deleted bars with the same deleted element

Not sure if I fully understand, but heal only does exactly that. If an edit is bad, it's an undo function with a selection box marker thing.

To do what I think you want to do, you have to first make two cuts to segment the piece you wish to tone down, then select this "new clip", then use Replace to have Suno free-jazz and ignore context of the clip itself (allegedly). For more targeted destruction which does care about the context of the selected clip, click the down arrow on the Recreate button, then select the hit the slightly lower risk of burning credits slot-machine named Recreate.

May fortune favor you.

You could also just mark a box and do this, but you really want to be accurate with the start and end of the selection (Zoom all the way in and play back the selection as to avoid wasting credits), so that it perfectly lines up with a waveform beginning/ending, so you don't get those nasty dead air cuts, or even worse, missing first tenths of a second of the freshly generated clip. :D

Ohai. Hindsight me again. If you're talking cutting out big parts of a full song rather than small segments of individual instrumental/vocal tracks, duplicate the entire thing, reduce either end to remove the things you don't want, then you can try to crossfade your way past the cut.

You basically have to keep it up to date on your own (UniGet UI would be a good tool to manage this), but it's as bare bones as Chrome comes without going for the Ungoogleed version, and I can attest to that one, but to prop it up with addons requires a bit of manual intervention. But, as it's the one clean browser (0 addons) I use, and 99% of it recently has been Suno - has been working consistently for me in a general sense.

Also, before I forget. I don't know if it's a bug (stares at bot), but the lazy loading of library content makes impossible to move ~40-50 objects at a time, and I'm currently sorting my stem hoard consisting of 2400+ clips. :P

It would be awesome to have a fuzzy finder in places such as the overview of Workspaces, both in Library, and in both Studio project lists/open dialog. Those are extracted stems after a lot of trickery. One track, 2775 credits. And I'm pretty sure a bunch of clips got accidentally placed in the wrong workspace because of the lazy loading suddenly shifting the list upwards as I were about to click on the correct one having finally located it after scrolling past 3 spinning circles. :D

I'd dare say fzf would be a crazy convenient feature, or at least that the list is capable of expanding horizontally to fitt all workspaces, but also organize them alphabetically - not by creation date. Active stuff floating to the top is a nice option, but it is by far the only useful sort. If anything, it's frustrating for people with the memory of a goldfish and having things constantly move around.

Combined with not being able to recreate or generate anything that lines up with the song without insane amounts of manual cutting and trickery makes me wonder if perhaps its more of an alpha than beta (a 1.1.0 pointrelease beta in of itself is a bit weird imo).

Honestly I think I'd be happier using Ardour along with some form of automation that grabs and imports whatever I'm re-rolling over and over to adjust lyrics and shape the tune.

Forgot to touch on the clean up bit mentioned by Alex, and while yes - it is possible - it is also absolutely insanely expensive. Suno over all is pretty good at what it does, the gripes I have are mainly with Studio being unintuitive to use, menus are bordering on difficult to find (I ended up with a really cool song named Empty Project because it was the way I knew I could get a new project going without having to search for obscure icons I don't remember where I saw them that one time I had found them at that point in time). :D

And I guess all of the above in regards to sorting, lack of fuzzy finding and lazy loading yeeting time out of the window having to sit there and stare at the loading circle or accidentally chuck a bunch of clips into the wrong workspace/playlist.

I'm guessing that would require them to more or less up-end everything about their pipeline. But yes, it would be favorable to have the model imagine each instrument in parallel so far it's possible, then iterate. I'd happily wait for that approach to finish rather than have to burn down several forrests by spam-covering songs to achieve things.

Heck, perhaps do what it does now, but then it'd write notation after it's first pass, and then be able to "play" each track individually without there being any context past this and the for a given instrument. This would also open up for the possibility of having consistent sounding instruments rather than these amps that keep morphing into random sounding ones, grand pianos turning full on Casio keyboard, etc.

This is most likely caused by the audio influence being at 95%. The default for this slider is 25%. Essentially turning this up is telling the model to pay much more attention to the original clip, whilst you're also giving it new prompts/lyrics for the model to try to follow. Lowering the audio influence should prevent this. It should not do this at the default setting (which is tuned for the most stable results.)

The quality of LLM services does tend to dip during peak hours in general.

It's just a trend I've noticed, and I may be biased. I haven't got data to say what is peak hours for Suno, but the reason I went self-hosted for general purpose models was due to the absolutely stunning difference in output across models during daytime vs when most of the EU region is sleeping.

When using models to aid in productivity, it makes no sense to employ one which is bordering on a drunk, raving, lunatic - no matter how much knowledge it possess. :D

Think of it this way, if scaling up is no longer viable for whatever reason - it be financial or physical, resource allocation must be tuned accordingly. Which means less compute and memory for everyone depending on how much one is paying. And in this case, even the top tier sub, I'm observing this trend which to me seems clear as night as day in the work I do based on how many humans are awake. :D

Even though the things I run locally are modest and primitive, especially paired with my aging workstation, I feel confident in the output of my models - because there are no loads for which I can't control.

HI guys, since today when you upload own sample/audio in Suno studio audio is decreased in volume/compressed. Why? this wasn't happening before.... When you push the volume up... sounds get squased.

I don't know if anyone has already posted it here. But I still have had several bugs in Studio:

1. Transpose is very unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Often only -1 works, but not -2, but in the exported song it is still on 0. One time I only got white noise after the export when using -2 but in Studio, it was played correctly.

2. Speed doesn't work at all on clips.

3. Context window sliders are not movable independently from the selection window.

4. Sometimes the cuts are not the same after exporting a song - only slightly, but still hearable.

5. Sometimes Studio is crashing. I think that's why it's still Beta.

Suno’s filter is saying traditional Carol lyrics are copyrighted material. They used to work because I’m covering a song I did last year. The song “hark the herald angels sing” was written in 1739 and is public domain.

I'm not objecting, but I haven't seen this. I'm just assuming that things are random and LLM have their pitfalls. But since you have your setup to compare with, do you have any idea how this works? I would not think that the model itself "takes shortcuts". Would they fall back to a smaller model? Allocate less (attention) memory? Restrict compute (for chain-of-thought)?

Going back to Suno, again I haven't linked results with any specific time of day. I've chalked it down to "random" or "need better prompt". But I also usually accept the path Suno leads me to, rather than to stubbornly getting what I initially thought. Plus I use cut-n-paste much more than "generate" in Studio.

What are the "problems" you would say to look for when doing that statistics for Suno? More ambient noise in output? Ignoring prompts? Songs cut short? Fail to give any output at all?

We should try to keep the bug channel more precise, not sweeping "nothing works", and I think "quality issues is no bug" was clearly stated - but if there are systematic differences in results it would be very useful to know that when trying to help people and to understand why some are so upset. Is it just different expectations, or are we given different products depending on where we live/when we try?

They provide the earlier models for a reason. It could also be that your prompting is not fitting the new model, try getting to know it better. see tips&tricks in #1372994765196361774 .

If you've systematically spent that much credits on one song, perhaps you need to accept that Suno is not capable to produce exactly what you want, or doesn't know the specific genre you ask for. Try something else, if no other reason, it might clear the memory and release the frustration you have, helping you out of the hole you're currently digging.

Also know that the model is "creative" in nature, leave enough room for that, but also not more room than you want. For prompting, you may discuss in #📚┃suno-school ways to get what you want.

For bug reports, you need to be more precise. What does "quality getting deep fried" actually mean? Anything actionable? In general audio quality is what it is and not considered a bug.

1+2. I've had problems like this, especially when combining speed+transpose. My workaround is to import the clip as WAV with the correct changes (either using other DAW or export just that clip when it works in Studio). I've never had the transpose fail entirely, it usually works when I change, but then it "forget". What did you mean that "+1 works not +2"?

In my case it could sound ok in Studio, but then export wrong, or sound bad in Studio and export bad. Also systematic "linking" between clips, causing changes to another clip when I change the speed of another.

For the bug report, if you can pinpoint what happens, perhaps they can debug it better, but I provided debug info and haven't heard back. Spend no more time than you want... Is the failing clip in "original" or "on beat" mode?

2. See any pattern? It was unexpected to me, but I've now accepted that "on beat" clips will change tempo but maintain pitch, while "original" changes speed/length and pitch together. So "on beat" also rely on the "song tempo" which I usually have on manual.

3. They need to include the output window in context. What was your idea?

4. I haven't heard that (apart from 1+2 problem above). Can you describe more? Share a project? There seems to be a clip cache behind the scenes, I had situations where the cache was corrupt, but I think you see something more subtle?

I'll drop a quick line here (Hindsight edit: Lol, luckily I type fast...), would have to unpack and analyze to cover all of it, but it is comes down to impressions such as "Does it even try to process my prompt", "Does the output align with the prompt", "Is this prompt the same or similar enough to warrant a massive reduction in quality simply due to a different seed being used", "Does it hallucinate?". And I guess the latter one is a core component. It is way easier to get a model to start rambling during daytime than nighttime, by invoking the same context by giving it the same sample text.

When I say "The model", I guess I could be more precise and speak of the system as a whole.

I don't know how they've strung everything together, but resources allocated to a model is as with most large scale systems dynamically adjusted to keep up appearances so to speak.

So while true, the model is a fixed size, it's context window, the output token limit, and so on, and so on - isn't.

But again, I have no idea. It's just a trend I've observed to be fairly consistent across multiple services.

An example would be how Gippity is quite good at following instructions and retaining complex context (ie. a design doc for a program, or even more fun - an existing codebase) vs daytime where it becomes a rambling, ranting lunatic waddling off in whichever direction it sees fit and must be "convinced" to follow orders. Which it eventually will - but only after what I consider a very specific criteria so far rage-prompting has been achieved. Then it'll suddenly care about all the things it couldn't even remember a few minutes ago - meaning, something has changed in regards to its available context.

This is why I suspect that there's something more to the story than just bad prompting. I just wish I could measure it in any meaningful way, but I also suspect that it would be a waste of time as the degradation in quality is probably deliberate in order to cope with demand.

Oh, and failure conditions to me are fairly simply: Does it do anything that even comes close to what I ask for (and I have low expectations), how badly does it miss the mark (ie. I ask for a singular guitar, not guitar__s__, not the whole song or an approximate homage as performed by a symphonic orchestra), does it complete the task before reaching its end of generation condition, and likely more.

Audio quality is just annoying, but can be mitigated by "re-rolling" via Covers, but my gut is telling me that the time of day is related to the rate at which I get awful sounding output which "feels" like it has been thrust through ffmpeg to slightly improve the audio quality and I'd imagine is a hecking lot less expensive than regenerating with an emphasis on audio quality.

Examples here would be a trip into the "Listen to Earn" section. If you have a trained ear, I'd argue it's pretty evident what's going on - or Suno has been trained on a lot of dubstep. No instrument should end up sounding as if it has a pulse and high blood-pressure because compression has been applied.

Sorry, this was meant to be another short response, but ... Yeah.

Still love the whole make-pretend producer/engineer thing though, and thus Suno. No hate. These things just ... haunt me. xD

By the latter, I'm trying to say that I speculate that a clip based on a clip, will likely replicate undesirable traits or bad/incomplete output, as I've been haunted by a glitchy amp and weird noises across projects - where the only thing being reused were...the clips or a full song, potato-potato.

Hence, I'm putting my money on the export/import thing being what likely gets you out of this rut.

Yea, I don't think it's particularly important what the source is, but if Suno gets hung-up on something, or it reproduces the same behavior (cutting early), it's because of the "context" it is working with - and that can be anything depending on its initial interpretation. Hence why severing the bond between what "is" by not letting it have a breadcrumb to follow back to the thing which "was" and initially caused it to start misbehaving in the first place.

It's like, generate, extract stem, work on project. Something breaks. New project, same stem, same issue. Remove stem, drag original clip in, same thing happens even though "context" has changed.

Start new project, import original clip, same thing happens.

Export clip, save as wav, upload, then import to existing project, same thing happens.

Re-upload, import to new project, problem gone.

This has happened to me enough times now that I'm questioning my own sanity.

Got strange copyright error - I was experimenting with classical music using Requiem Mass text, but Suno claimed that some parts (Introit, Offertory, Sequence) of the text are copywrite protected. Hey, has anyone noticed that as soon as you go into the editor, the track you're editing is not exactly the one you've listened to? Something happens with phases, and it's noticable on vocals, they're less sharp.

And it can't be some form of re-encoding, as it's as soon as you're in the editor, the audio should just have been read at that point.

It's a problem as if you open the editor for a tiny fix somewhere, your entire song sounds worse (well you can still merge the fix bit offline, but it's a problem if you wanna publish the track on suno)

First half is song before the editor, second is after the editor. And again, it does sound like this in the editor, so it's not a matter of re-encoding (if you even re-encode to mp3 multiple times, I hope not).
Spectral content is the same, phases are not. So on vocals it sounds less sharp (through headphones)

At the bottom of the Editor there's a tempo with a cog wheel next to it. Click on the cog wheel and set it to "Follow track" and see if this helps. The default ("Manual BPM") tries to keep the tempo consistent but for some songs and depending on the amount of tempo drift there is/isn't, it can cause problems.

click the clip, then on the right menu on top there is a "stop following track tempo" button. Then the input song length should match output length again

or if you use vertical view it might be elsewhere, but search for that option. that solves the problem when a library/upload is in studio in wrong length

it did fix itself after I relocated the song several times. My guess is that it always passes through timestretching, and it was dephased despite being a 1:1 stretch because there was a slight shift in -time- instead of length, until something gets reset I guess

Nothing on the interwebs is truly deleted, but this is likely not how it's supposed to be. We are paying content generators. I just hope they realise that training models on LLM content isn't super-duper great so far end-results go. Though I do suspect they do benefit a lot from our descriptions, changes to generated lyrics and songs, etc. :D

It's quite fun to observe how Suno is learning how I tend to edit/mix and beat me to it upon generation.... :D

I find that a track that doesn't sound like it's clipping while played back in the normal player, will be clipping excessively in Studio, however there's no sign of it in the waveform and is often, but not always cured by reducing the master volume until it no longer glows red. Extracting stems also tend to have this effect on audio quality.

Again, I lack examples at hand, but I do intend to adapt my workflow to document more in the time to come.

Try creating a Cover with low Audio Similarity and highish Style Similarity, then use the old song as Inspo for another cover of the newly generated cover, but with high Audio Similarity and lowish Style Similarity values.

During the first step most of the old context seem to be jettisoned and during the second; Suno is able to produce something fairly similar which you can massage further.

Another attempt at putting this to words: The first step will essentially force Suno to "think fresh", and then you merge that with the old song with a super strong bias towards it.

The problem so far I can gather, is that in some weird scenarios Suno have concluded and firmly believes that the early end is how it should be, and there is no other way to go about it.

It's the same thing as with the Extend feature - which is a complete rambling lunatic atm, but one can use Cover to extend songs by adding/repeating lyrics, cut the track in Studio to resemble what you want, then finally - make a Cover of that.

My longest track to date through this method is 11 minutes, and it sounds decent through out for whatever reason.

Attempting to do the same thing on a first time generation based on prompts will drive Suno straight into the asylum so far consistency in audio and progression are concerned.

Try a Cover with "technical death metal" or "art death metal" as part of the style prompt. Then try my 🦜 advice again utilizing high Audio & Style Similarity on the final Cover attempt, but also and most importantly; with the old style profile only containing black metal and whichever else got you the first result.

In theory this should force Suno to be inspired by the Audio track, but also adhere to the performance and soundscape as described in the Style box while breaking out of the "I am Suno and would not be able to set foot within a neurotherapists office without some form of high functioning diagnosis"-cycle.

(I'm part of the AuDHD tribe btw, so the intent of using this analogy is not hostile, it's just ridiculously similar to myself getting stuck in a black/white train of thought and nobody can convince me otherwise. xD)

I'd go for a 1:1 scale (perfect square) personally. This is what distribution services like distrokid and landr expect. Minimum requirement for DK is 1000x1000 and for landr 1500x1500 I believe

I use my tampermonkey script and force suno to display it 1:1 as well. Thankfully suno just displays it cropped and doesnt change the file itself when you upload e.g. 1:1, so with a script you can force suno to display it 1:1

Fun times. Wiggled myself out of the early endings, but find myself with ever increasing tempo after the first verse as if Suno is rushing to just get done with it. So, I add "Stable tempo." to the Style prompt, and boom - insta timetravel effect where it'll play most of the intro, then jump back (sometimes forward such as in this example) a few bars and repeat the pattern until an early and abrupt end:

There's so many mispronunciations which weren't present until I pleaded for stable tempo.

Sometimes it'll just stop and start over from the beginning and handle things brilliantly - but 9/10 times it will then cut out early, such as in this case, except it did not handle the glitch brilliantly at all.... xD

I would like to report an issue regarding the display of the Suno website, which is not optimized at all on my computers. Most of the display, such as in the studio section, shows the song below the playback bar. To edit and extract the stems, you cannot see them displayed; everything is below the playback bar. Modifying part of a stem, such as changing the vocals from male to female, is virtually impossible. In the tutorials I've seen on YouTube, I've seen that people who, like me, have a Premium account have three choices in the song editor section, but I only have two: Weirdness, Style Influence, and Auto Influence it is missing for me. Why don't I have the Auto Influence option? Finally, it's impossible not only because of the display, but also because it's impossible to change a male singer's voice to a female singer's voice while keeping the style of music we like, replacing one voice with another. I spent several hours tearing my hair out because the Suno display is not optimized at all on the internet, but also because there are things that prevent us from fully using all the options with our Premium account. Very disappointing .In addition, it would be good if Suno could display in all languages, including French, because sometimes it is incomprehensible even though I speak English perfectly. I would like to report a bug with the remaster option. If you choose soft for the remaster, it can clear up a lot and differentiated voices in a duet better, sure; and background vocals pop in clearly. Then there is the Normal and Hard options...The vocalist suddenly sounds like their having a stroke and sounds like they are just grunting in the vicinity of the word choice. Not sure what this mode was meant to do outside of the way the soft mode works. the normal and hard also change the background instruments into a nightmare of harsh overpowering static and bass, that I can only describe as the Christopher Nolan Movie Soundtrack. I had a nice soft background vinyl scratch going; and then the normal remaster turned that sound into helicopters attacking Kong. I could no longer hear the vocalist even though he was then just grunting anyway.

You can hear the results that counter this claim speak for themselves on my profile, and any of the issues that I've seen or reported myself, can happen within the scope of a new project on a "unique" song.

I mean, regen/create within a song is the exact same thing and won't work after the first gen in a project anyway, much less using the extend feature, which again utilize the same functionality.

Well, a song is no different than a random seed which cause a song to come into existence. You can provide Suno noise, and with low enough similarity, it will find a pattern in it. This is my point. I had been generating songs for 2 hours based on the same source and then suddenly the model starts glitching out and it continues to do so due to me asking it to cure the glitch: Stable tempo.

Which then, when Suno is forced to factor for this, it starts tripping over itself as it is incapable.

Feelings are all well and good, but they don't mix well with truth-statements - though, I do appreciate the introspection they trigger. It is how we learn after all, so please, read no hate or belittlement in what I write. :D

Yes, degreation in audio quality can happen if one selects for good sounding tracks (iow, the song itself) with bad audio quality and use a high Audio Similarity value and low Randomness consistently, but that is not the same as what is described countless times above. We are not responsible for the state of the model. We can not influence it on any meaningful level past tuning the parameters that affect the output. If they opt to train on bad data, then it starts to get interesting.

I see it similar like with lossy compression of e.g. Audio: if you compress mp3 over and over the quality will degrade - even if you use each time a higher bitrate

With the model: You get from the base song a noised output by an AI model. now you use the noised ai output as the base and get another noised ai output based from that and so on.

Look at image generators: you make an ai image, then you edit it, use the edit as base and edit it further and further. and there the quality of the image does degrade too from the several generations chain.

While an apt analogy, the concept isn't similar when analysed from the appropriate angle. We are not compressing audio, we are clicking play.

And the latter point, yes - but then you are literally selecting for "not optimal".

And you can use the same image as reference image and ask it to create a new image with a modified prompt, and odds are it will come out fairly similar, but have none of the flaws - unless the model is incapable of producing results which doesn't have what we consider to be flawed.

After a nap, I clicked Generate on the same machine and browser (LibreWolf) I was using earlier with 0 changes. All I did was stumble over to keyboard and click a button as the browser tab were left running as I went to bed for this exact reason.

• Open up the page of the original song.
• Add a prefix to make this song easily identifiable in the Library, and then for fun opt to make a new Cover via the 3-dot menu on this page.
• For some reason the selected Workspace ended up being one where I'm playing around with a scruffy sounding Russian male voice.
• Replicate prompts, etc - then slap Create.

• Over all audio quality improves, by orders of magnitude.
• Consistent vocals from the very start.
• The constant skipping back and forth in the song is reduced to a single glitch where it steps back in time in one of the new Covers. But, it resumes, then proceed to the end of the song with only a tiny tempo increase and surprisingly; a slight reduction of tempo towards the end (which honestly sounds a bit neat, but it disregards my request for stable tempo).

• Ends at 1:51 on a song that needs at least 4:30 to complete at a chipmunk tempo that's remotely pleasant to listen to.
• It has consistent sounding vocals from the very start, but struggle with progressing through the Song. However, in this iteration only the vocals stop before starting over. As the vocals are now completely out of sync with the original context, this is likely why it aborted and a decision I fully support, as it is entirely a waste of resources to continue from that point onward.

Conclusion:
The high Audio Similarity is likely picking up on a tempo change I'm not in the source Song, but this does not explain the erratic jumping back and forth being so much worse simply due to using a workspace which have other unrelated tracks in it. Considering how incredibly bad the organizational tools provided in Library and Studio are, I would imagine most people are just using the "My Workspace" as I were until there were so many songs that it was becoming difficult to navigate and made worse by the incredibly slow lazy loading.

Next:
Modify prompts to see if I can overcome this one glitch in the good version in yet another clean workspace just for sport, then backtrack to find a version with reasonably stable tempo to massage further if all else fail.

Guys, what. Does newline count towards the character limit? You guys are aware newline is treated as blank space, right? Therefore, it does not cost anything token-wise. This one is amazing and need to be addressed quickly.

I mean, it is absurd that I have to scan through a single line of text, when it is in fact not a limitation of the model. The singing of words in the style prompt seem to be exactly because of how prompting is being recommended in here, by descriptive language in a single line - which then becomes a way heavier anchor for the rest of the process than it need be, causing all sorts of interesting issues - such as the word association glitches which is attributed to NOT writing on a single line....

The first line of a Style description is indeed super important, as it is as described above an anchor. But the model doesn't care if there's a space, comma, dot or newline following it.

Colon is the delimiter that determines when the anchor ends, and the rest of the style definition begins, by deriving from the first occurrence of this delimiter where the first equivalent of a key (Ie Vocals, Mood, etc.) begins, which is any non-special character which lead up to the colon.

And this is where it gets interesting.

Space is also counted as a character by the current version of Suno. While it is indeed a separator that is used during initial parsing and tokenization, they do not cost anything so far the token limit/context window is concerned as with newline. They are both blank space, which means nothing to a computer.

So you are essentially "charging" for something which - to the model - doesn't exist in any meaningful way contextually, severely limiting formatting and what is possible to actually pack into 1000 character/token limit.

Oh sorry, I said the poop word. This is comical, is what I were trying to say, and this needs to be seen by someone who cares. Obviously, someone who does not understand the fundamentals are in charge of UX. This limitation can not have existed since launch unnoticed. So either it is deliberate, or it is incompetence. Pick your poison.

Generations aren't influenced by which workspace they are in.
Audio skipping around tends to be more likely the further the audio strength is increased (from the default of 25%). In your examples this is set to 94%.
Generally it is best to use the default sliders and then adjust them gradually if you need to, making this decision per song/generation. Or, if you start with some preferred slider settings and get undesirable results, start moving them toward the defaults.

I've been testing for the last few hours, and it is reproducible.

Create a new workspace and it will not have _any_reference if you don't provide it a clip to jazz on top of, and aaaaaalll the issues I've been having when I generate in what I thought were a sane system where I have a workspace per song (but contains several "generations" of it **including bad and glitched versions because they contain cool elements I'd like to extract at a later point and I thought based on what I read here should not have any effect.....) seem to evaporate.

And generally speaking, by using the recommended defaults, you get the same song everyone else is generating. Non default values is where the creative aspects of generating songs happen. To normalize ..let's say, a bit too creative progression or harmonies - a cover with closer to defaults does indeed tend to be good practice. But it is not the way to generate anything that sounds even remotely unique or new.

The thing is, once the seed is "unique sounding" enough, the good parts tend to follow when doing a cover as described.

Anyway, why I started ranting again: I've educated myself on how to do more targeted prompting, going so far as to define how the mix should be, and the environment in which instruments are played, and so on. And when you get to this level, there is no chance in heck that you're going to get the prompt to fit into 1000 characters, especially when you guys treat blank space as actual characters that count towards what ends up in the "mind" of the model.

I am deeply disappointed by this, to be quite frank. You can distract from the topic if you wish, but that does not change anything related to the things I've been calling attention to. My prompts and parameters have been improvised and deviated from best practice, I'll admit. But that is not relevant. There is a reason why this deviation is taking place, it is essentially debugging without a debugger.

Glitching will happen in a fresh project in a crammed workspace regardless of defaults or exotic parameters. Even on tracks with zero style description or lyrics. This aspect is a model in decline likely due to a dataset in equal decline.

The glitching gets exponentially worse when following the advice given in here, which seem to be have become part of the meta lore - taken as gospel, yet it happens even with defaults and following best practice.

I generated a cover of a public comain Christmas song called "What Child is This?" I made a typing error in the lyrics and tried to fix it in the Editor. I got a "red" alert that said the lyrics contained copyrighted material and the "Replace" failed. I fixed the lyric in my word processor, copied the lyrics back into a new song creation and all went fine. The only time the system flagged the lyrics was upon the "Replace" effort in Editor. The song is obviously public domain due to the lyrics being written in 1865 and then added to the "traditional" tune of Greensleeves in 1871. Odd that the system did not flag the lyric upon the initial song creation but then did upon a "Replace attempt. Screen recording is included here.

I've been working a bit more intense again in Suno since begin of december to speed up our outputs internal. While doing so, some things came again to light that I need to share/communicate here now, bc while I'm sending dozens of tracks lately to bug report re-check, I think it should've been at least addresses also from my end, as I'm sure some users in here already reported this one way or another.

• The inspire-tool is pretty instable:
  It seems like everything above 30% "Audio Influence" is being chopped into hickup-bits. In 75% of all cases the credits are wasted with out of beat hickups. That is halfway making the feature a dud on the core, so please show some love to this feature, because unlike with most other (non-music) AI-Generators, Suno still doesn't offer a seed-insight feature, which means we cannot by hand control to generate more similar songs and need to rely on the barely reliable inspire or cover tool.

• Editor followup issue:
  And that all wouldn't bee all too bad if the Editor would be really working out as it should be, but all the time you try to fix anything with it, you clearly hear the transitions. When the editor tool released around v4, this was less obvious from the transition seam. Now it's pretty obvious and there's barely something you can do to get it under control. So atm the editor is only useful for cutting things into shape, but repairing certain parts of songs is useless on even v5 Pro+, which I mostly work with.

It works fine in chrome thank goodness. I can keep how it sounds but change up small sections in the song. So far i havent had an issue till just now which was new. Could be suno, could be firefox but Chrome seemed to work ok doing it. Theres this part in the song i want to keep, it has good back up vocals like a choir, like, ahhhhhhh, ahhhhhhhhhh, ahhhhhhhh, ahhh, ahhh. So good.

Did you log in on PC via QR code per chance? If so, try refreshing the webpage with CTRL+F5. This will clear out the cache for Suno.com only and then allow you to log back in with a clean slate. But when you do, use your phone number. This resolved the split account thing for another user earlier today.

The core thing being different here would be: I'm using the inspire tool with at first 3, then only one song in it, all at or above 50% 'Audio Influence' PLUS some Lyrics changed and added. That's where things went sideways for 80% of all tracks. And I don't even know 1oo% how to bug-tag those. Is it "other issue"? Or "bad song structure"? Both? ~

But basically I've had a lot of really full workflows (400+ songs) before and never experienced a real cut-out or skip-cut as you describe it before. The issue occurs pretty random on my end and only got a bit more reproducible as I kept enforcing a - to the algorithm probably - borderline percentage value for overwriting the new seed with the inspo song. It seems like SUNO's AI has a real issue with that border as of now, as it keeps happening. I'm trying to find a sweet spot for the Inspo to work, but it definitely is borked over 50% and I saw it happening with 40% too, but at a lower chance as far as I can really guess right now (not enough test runs for a final conclusion).

To trigger this weak spot of Suno's mixing function and trying to do my best to reproduce your efforts, I'll take the one song I was using in Inspo and set it to 60% Audio Influence while being in a new Workspace.

I created 6 songs now for you and see if something changed. I'll report back then.

Yea, if the songs in the workspace aren't glitchy, there's no problem is how I perceive the issue.

The second a bad gen is left in there, subsequent gens have a high chance of being impacted by the exact same glitch, even when covering another track and "outputting" to the workspace. As I understand, the second you select a workspace as the target workspace, you are moved into that workspace, and to me it seems faairly evident that the content within it does affect the what is essentially to be considered the seed for the subsequent gen.

Yea this is exactly what I find on borked gens. Eerily similar description. If you do a cover of it with low audio similarity, but high style similarity, and maybe just make a tiny change to lyrics towards the end -has gotten me out of this rut during testing in a clean workspace. The key is that the bad clip can't exist in proximity of the issue. After this, you can reapply the original sound by locating an older gen which has the qualities you want, then rework that to recover the gen you're trying to fix. It won't be 100%, but it is way more efficent than the wav export/import stuff.

I have a few more people queued up to test this, and I'm super looking forward to hearing their description.

Also, did the sound of vocals completely change to something that is not recognizable from previous gens for you?

As much as I know DAViD from own support request so far, he and his technical support colleagues are rly invested in fixing stuff and helping out, if they can see any leverage right away, but I think aside from site-technical issues, some issues might probably go too deep into algorithm-issues they don't have insight. 🤷‍♀️ Would at least be my blank guess.

While it completely cleaned up the issues except for the voice tripping over itself once, it was as clean and consistent a voice I've heard in a long, long time, but it sounds nothing like what I get out of the exact same prompt in a workspace which contain the voices I normally use. I recon the if any of this hold water is tojust populate a workspace with stems of the voices and instruments, and in theory, the style prompt should resume normal operation, but I've not gotten to the point of testing this as of yet.

Yea na I understand that there are probably good and valid reasons for the state of affairs, it is just surprising to find a product that have reached this scale to be caught off guard to this extent.

Skipping or hiccuping audio is the result of the audio influence slider being too high. The default is 25%. The further you move away from this, the more likely you are to experience skips/hiccups. It's not an "exact science" as other things can also interact with this slider (particularly inspo is sensitive to it), but generally if you are experiencing this, reduce the slider until it stops happening.

So it is up to them to educate us about what is actually going on and provide a roadmap or at least update their automated replies so that expectations in regards to response time is in line with reality. It is bare minimum, low effort communication stuff that could buy them a lot of space that seem to be ignored the most. Meanwhile, we see crazy UI changes that degrade the experience for visually impaired, etc. I..... I'll stop there.

We're aware that sliders can cause issues. This is pretty much a limitation of what the sliders can do. Until a few months ago there were no sliders - the ML engineers tune the default settings to give the most stable results and this continues to be the case. The sliders allow you to override this "tuning", which can give you something closer to what you want, but there can be side-effects. Most likely the way this would be fixed would be to reduce how much range the sliders have, which is why I suggest moving closer to the default. The 3 sliders also can affect each other as well so you may find increasing Weirdness for example could help as this will allow the model more freedom to be creative.

Mh, it's not important, that's right, but you need to see it separately: Often those startups have a single team in the beginning and when things become larger, they might get separate departments for development of new features and another one trying to fix the old stuff. I have no idea if this is the case with Suno, so please don't quote me here; but imagine: There's one pipeline doing creation all the time, pushing out features to draw in new subscribers, as usual for companies, while there's a parallel process going trying to get hands on all the bugs coming up with the new features at the same time, but ofc much slower, as they mostly have to tidy up thingies quickly done by feature-creation department. Tidying up such complex stuff with AI functions involved is a very tedious work with ... no guaranteed success rate.

I see it from both ends, including the technical and the business side of things. All things considered, it seems someone left the Randomness parameter at 100% and forget to check mail. If they are attempting to attract new users while being bogged down to the point where it takes 20+ days and still not able to produce a response to a ticket - then they need to reprioritize.

Point being though is, don't hardlock e.g. the Studio function beyond the highest tier of subscription, please, if it's clear that the formerly released and for pro-members accessible editor is borking up transitions a lot still. For quite some time, a month at least, Suno Radio seems to just loop whatever song is playing when I enter. Only changes if I refresh, and of course, re-click play button. Or..
Click to pause and re-click to play. So that defeats its purpose.

And really need a monitor to visit. The spam and rudeness is tiresome.

do you mean "download video"? I haven't seen this specifically, but I think there may be a delay in video generation and you may get the old video. If it doesn't use the new image some time later, try refreshing the lyrics (just add a space or something) and see if that gives a new video. If the workaround works, I still think it should be counted as a bug. edit: At least it should be more visible/intuitive when the current assets are ready for use in video.

If it helps, I always wait a couple of minutes after clicking save. Even if it shows in the panel box as if changed. If i do anything too quickly afterwards, it seems to reset and sometimes I have to start over. Ive just accepted the glitch and wait the minute or so.

So i think its downloading or generating with the original art as the changed art hasnt been processed on the backend yet. You see the thumbnail without the file yet completely loaded.

Ran into a bug where for some reason one generation of song from a personna resulted in a song of 5:42, this for some reason forced the following jobs to cut off at 5:42 even though they were in mid-song so the next 3 songs ended at exactly 5:42. The next few songs roughly around that number but varying from 5:39 to 5:46. Did someone just screw up the code and put in place an approximation restriction around that length. Or is it the personna having a problematic effect. NOW all my music is getting cut off at 5:42 this sucks... Now it's ruining my runs.

Ok it seems like it's incorrectly using the personna as a remix rather than a general persona. I didn't request a remix so it's incorrectly defaulting into a remix which explains a little why it's messing up my songs with some approximation around that.

I’m really stuck and haven’t been able to get a response from Support.

On Dec 8th, I paid $30 for the Premier Plan. Before that, I had tried to cancel my plan to switch to the $10 tier, but then I changed my mind and stayed with Premier. Suno let me pay the $30 invoice, but the Premier Plan was never applied to my account.

No matter what I do—log out/in, reinstall the app, update everything—my account still shows no active Premier subscription, even though I was charged.

I’ve emailed Support multiple times with no response, and at this point I really need help getting this fixed so I can actually use the plan I paid for.

If you can point me in the right direction or escalate this, I’d really appreciate it.

1. When you listen to your own composition, the number of plays still counts. If I loop the playback, I can wind up the play count to infinity.
2. When I pause the music and press the "Back to Beginning" button, there's no visual jump back to the beginning (which is misleading). Jumping back to the beginning only occurs when I press the play button.
3. My own compositions as an author also appear in the "For You" section.

How can I end a song without getting 40 second to 2 minute long sections? I usually use [end], but in most of my songs Suno still creates very long sections or repeats lyrics that are not there.

I've not had much success with using actual phonetic characters. It does the same thing as text, even in a new project devoid of any reference. And in my case it's the word "documentary" and "Denise". :D

So there seems to be a trend here. Things that start with the letter D is hard, and no, but yes, I chuckled and felt I had to ensure that this is entirely a coincidence.

I ended up with a - in between the words, which seems to add a bit of a breather and let the model start in a place that lets it pronounce it without fighting with the rhythm. The line became "Paula, Ag-nes and - Denise" in the end.

Fun fact (recently learned): - is a quarter beat pause, and the — (em dash) following a word— as shown here, will prolong the duration it holds the note with varying degree (though it should be fixed from what I read, the model tends to jazz a weee bit with it, which is ok). So they might also be of use to get the model to time the beginning of the word better and not end up omitting parts of it to stay in time.

Not a bad idea actually. I also remember trying Deníse, which did work most of the time, but it would also sometimes make Suno sound as if someone tickled it, or it got really surprised, or confused. :D

If you're using v5, I find that writing the lyrics using XML makes Suno take lyrics super literally in terms of the over all structure. Don't need anything past </chorus> or whatever you're ending with, and it'll play out the bar and conclude.

Also, it has a way lower likelihood of doing stuff like fading out reverb, which it seems to be hell bent on doing with the normal tag approach even if instructed "no auto-fade" in the Style instructions.

I use v4.5, v5, sometimes v4, and v3.5 when I want to fix old songs. But every version has the problem that it does not want to end songs quickly.

Yea it can be a bit "let me blast you with a 1 minute solo, then proceed to the [outro] even though there's no [bridge], [fill], [end], etc. One of my largest gripe is having to filter my songs through Norwegian black metal in order to get rid of lead guitarists.

Suno loves to abuse the fact that it has infinite reach and all the fingers in the world at its disposal. It is hecking cool in context of progressive stuff and groove/art metal though. I'll give it that.

It doesn't really seem to care so much about the tag itself, so long it's consistently used. Ie, verse or v, chorus or c, pre-chorus or pc, does the same job. And once it reaches </vocal>, so far after somewhat limited experimentation - Suno doesn't decide to start meowing to close out the song.

I'd love to be pinged with outcomes. I have no idea what I'm doing most of the time when operating Suno and desperately trying to wrangle it into some mild form of cooperation that is predictable, and this combined with Style definitions to exploit its potential to its fullest in terms of audio has completely turned things around in terms of sound quality so long the workspace isn't filled with borked generations which has errors, or other songs with other voices and instrument dynamics in them. Oh, dear. I need a nap.. But to conclude, one can go as far as to define the environment things are recorded in, but not on a per instrument level without it getting thoroughly confused. Ie, define things such as decay, reflection, and a bunch of other things will yield way more consistent sounding drums, guitars, etc, because Suno isn't floating around in space or randomly teleporting between wherever the source material it is mimicking at any given moment were recorded.

Yep. And if one mark the entire length of a song and ask it to harmonize with X, it will do so - and it sounds great, but once generation concludes, the selection truncate to about 3/4 of the selections length, and be nowhere close to playing along with the existing material, but one can cut the track to an extent (if one happen to be super into painful manual labor) and have things line up - but it always begin late or early compared to the rest of the song. This is likely due to the available context window not being able to fit all of it and it finds it reasonable to cheat rather than just fill it, dump it, then prompt the user to mark whatever was left out, and do another gen - but ............. then one is at the mercy of RNG in regards to the transition sounding even remotely similar so far the room dynamics go, if not instrument as a whole.

And with that, I tear myself away from the keyboard to promptly collapse into the couch. xD

But yea, in short, do go read the documentation, then interview GPT OSS over at https://duck.ai about things and it has surprisingly good suggestions. Some ofc, entirely made up - but what I've referenced here is a combination of this, plus reading about every prompt-wizard post and thread I could find in here and elsewhere.

OH, before I forget again.... If someone knows how to stop Suno from increasing volume every time it concludes a verse and chorus, I'd love to know how. I've tried using available parameters to define the mix, but all is discarded. It'll level out the instruments a bit better at times it feels like, but it'll just crank up the volume progressively as described above.

When working with tracks that tend to push well past 5 minutes, it gets distorted well before it's done.

Yerp, the closest I've come to a fix is to do post in Studio. It is almost comical how smooth the transitions are when you find the right increment it uses between each part, but the song still ends up sounding more and more distorted. Not a huge problem when metal, but ... I also like soft sounding airy female voices and cellos.

Yes, every extension and every replaced section creates a new version of the old song. Most of the time it gets worse, because each new version is mastered over the previous one.

Oh, last tip. When using XML, make sure to follow the general advice in regards to word association. If there are overlap in the tags used in the Lyrics box and the Style box, Suno has an exceptionally high chance at singing the parameters within the tag.

Hence, experiment, let me know if <banana> could be <verse>, etc. I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

It's like, the boxes are what ends up being converted to the XML which ultimately is fed to Suno. Which result in theories, but for now, I'll keep them to myself.

I guess the last big thing I've found is, do not use <song> ..rest of XML here.. </song>, as this is super likely already handled by whatever parses and combine the content of these two boxes. :winkwink:

At this point, my next gen is to a clean workspace, and often the voice changes entirely - which is what sent me off into the territory of defining the voices qualities via XML rather than rely on reference material.

Same with projects. The second it starts showing signs of being heck-bent on reproducing a glitch I cured days ago, it's time for a new workspace. It is claimed that it should not matter, but either I'm going insane, hallucinating, or it actually matters - which I think it does. In some songs random vocalists from old songs that exist within a workspace will make an appearance, or be the voice that is used for the first 2-3 words before resuming with something similar to that which exists in the project, or is being covered.

All of this compared to what is available in documentation and the lore here on the Discord server - is in wild conflict, but go have a listen to the 2 latest pins on my profile. I'll admit, I misspelled one tag which resulted in some unexpected behavior regarding progression, but so far the performance of the vocals go - flawless.

I also have a trick to get an ending. You have to crop the song and then use replace section at the end. But the problem is that the replaced section usually has poor sound quality, and the song then gets cut off shortly before the final note actually arrives.

Unfortunately, I have to do almost every end this way at the moment.

Yea I've given up on anything past Cover and massaging Lyrics and Style to nudge it in the direction I want.

If I want to create something that I have constructed in my head, then the Lead Track thing is pretty useful given one can provide output that is pitch perfect.
