"paralinguistic gasp" is a failed task for the negative prompt for some genres (many words are beginning with a deep inhaled gasp at the prefix of a word and i cannot find a prompt to better control v5 behavior)

Every song I download for lyrics vids, I get overlapping lyrics, and I've been dealing with this for weeks now... It's getting ridiculous...and I don't have Discord Nitro to send the terrible vids, but I can send you screenshots and the links to each song in DMs, but seriously... I hope your staff can fix this glitch...

BAD NEWS GUYS!
While V5 can write incredible music, making a cover with it is like throwing credits in the wind!
I could not generate a single perfect cover so far, most of them loose rhythm and stumble, even multiple times.

This is very very bad cause covers are essential for me.
This means also that I cannot cover any of the old songs amde with earlier models to V5.

I hope you can fix that soon cause otherwise V5 is almost useless for me, except the song gets in the first generation as I want.

Beside that I V5 is really deaf to commands like Male Voice or Female voice. It takes only what it wants, despite prompts in the lyrics!
Actually it stuck to the same fixed voice, not obeying at all to the prompt.
This is also the case for 4.5.

And not only that: V5 it takes the same voice or very similar for most or all generations, many times no change at all.

And this is already day 5 after the release and this HUGE bug in the Cover function is still here.
Like nobody from Suno, nor the testers, could not have noticed that cover doesn't work properly
A release thrown out to make all us beta testers, to loose credits and time and nerves with big and obvious bugs.

Update: I tried to make the cover with 4.5+ All generations stop at 6:17 min (it is a longer song)!
Should it not be 8 min ????

Anyone have issue with Studio not recording (seemingly at random)? As in you press record, it appears to be registering audio without issue, but whe you stop the recording the waveform vanishes. Seems to work about 10% of the time, but it could just be something I'm doing?

Actually, 10% seems to have just been sheer luck on my part, it's closer to 1%. Surely this is user error?

So earlier I used V5 to generate a song that was about 4 minutes long. But when I played it the second time, it cut off at 2 minutes and 50 seconds. After I refreshed the page, the song itself had changed — now it’s only 2:50 long and still cuts off halfway through.

I can’t delete unused Workspaces. When I finish a song, I move it to My Workspace and delete the versions I don’t want. That leaves the Workspace empty, but when I click ‘Move to Trash,’ it doesn’t delete the Workspace itself. It just sits there empty, cluttering up my list of Workspaces.

When using editor with a v5 song and then saving it to a new song, the new one looses the Suno version tag. It does not show any version, just as if it would be a mix of versions and Suno cannot decide, which tag to show...

Not sure if this is the right place to mention this but I’m experiencing a serious issue with v5 trying to cover or extend songs. Almost every instance is littered with glitches, repeats of lines it already sung, almost skipping like an old CD player might do. I don’t hear of anyone else having this issue. Any advice?

Maybe I'm late with the answer and you already know how to fix it, but look what I'm doing. : first, the structure of the couplets should look like this

it doesn't matter how many lines you have there
, the verse hint should stand in a separate line for more precise notation and should DEFINITELY be highlighted with SQUARE [ ] brackets - this is the syntax. square brackets are indications and separators, if you want to change a particular verse or line somehow, then do so

if you put simple parentheses ( ), the generator will interpret this as a backup and sing what you have written in parentheses. this method is well used to change the soloist's voice for certain moments.

v5 pro... This is like the beta of the beta. It sounded great, until I started playing the full songs and realized that a majority sounded like a skipping CD 💿. v5 has burned through more of my credits than any other model. Started using 4.5+ again, which honestly handles my prompts better.

BUG: Payment/upgrade is not working. It says that it went through but doesnt work.

the create issue seems browser related. on Firefox it wasn't working for me, but it is now working when I use Edge (my least favorite browser... but at least it works)

I just signed up for Suno Pro to test v5 beta and v4.5, 2500 credits, but after testing, SUNO stopped creating songs. I have 2470 credits and SUNO no longer creates any sounds. Not in v5 or v4.5. Does anyone know what might be happening?

I am getting "lyric copyright claim" when trying to extend song. I need to add the lyrics: "I just couldn't see" to the end and it won't allow that to go through.

EDIT: It seems to be ok in the Legacy Editor, but in the Standard Extend feature in Create mode it rejects it for some reason.

Same here, broken Extend on Android. Using Brave browser. Edit: fwiw, what happens with me when tapping Extend, it brings up the Create box, but it's empty with nothing filled in.
Edited again to say that it sometimes works now?? Can't seem to reproduce what makes it work or not work, but sometimes clicking around the pages makes it work? Reloading the page seems to have no effect, but I've managed to get the Extend to work twice now by just trying the Extend from different pages. Then it stops working. Then it works again. So... some functionality, yay?

I am using my own guitar riffs to create songs in 4.5. 40-50% of the songs are muffled generally in the beginning of the song and then it goes away. The muffle is permanent to the recording. I submitted probably 20 today under the bug reporting. Suggestions?

Moving a Workspace to the Trash has never worked. Doesn’t matter if the Workspace has anything inside or not. ‘Move to Trash’ has simply never worked on Workspaces.

@sand depot WTH is going on? I wanted to extend a song. And I did so. I used the exact moment I needed it to extended from (as always) and the end result was way earlier than my time stamp. I was already at the outro only 2 lines missing singing und this is were I extended from. But the extended track is minutes before right at the guitar solo. And I tried to add them together just to see what he was doing. Now all of a sudden the whole Outro is missing, which should be there.

And now if I wanna extend again I can't the option is not available. It is not possible to click on it anymore some for cover etc. WTH is going on here? I re-freshed the page already a couple of times. Not working

Having trouble reproducing this. Could you add a bit more context to how you are remixing this? Would like to attempt to reproduce this following your exact steps. When I tried this is what I did via web:

  • went to https://suno.com/collab/iplusai
  • selected Remix button on the lower left
  • that took me to suno.com/create with the song added as a cover in my Create panel
  • I didn't modify the lyrics or style, simply hit Create
  • songs that were generated showed Submit & Remix button when in the Library (please see image)

I feel like these beta features shouldn't be in beta yet. The song editor is HORRIFIC! You generate a replacement from the lyrics side, pay for two and get one. You generate it in the timeline, mayit shows up, maybe it doesn't, generate again, and the whole widget disappears! Try one more time and you get the last three or four generations and MAYBE the ones you just did. Between v5 and the editor, I've burned through about 2K credits. Swell.

Anybody else finding the AI can't sing 25-35% of the words anymore? I was trying to extend a song today. Almost every word in the lyrics I have used before and it is like the AI has lost control of the English language. I have weirdness down to 5% and it still can't speak english words. I am used to an occassional confusion. I tried v5, V4.5+. V4.5, V4. I think it is connected to extending a song because when I start from scratch it does much better, but of course it doesn't match the start of the song that I did.

Trying to create covers of "Intoxicate Me" using v5. Songs are consistently ending at 4:54, 4:55, or 4:56 over multiple attempts. The song just ends. I've tried editing the lyrics, directions, and prompts to see if something is causing the AI to hang but I just can't get past this barrier.

When using the v5 model to extend audio, the generated extensions don't transition smoothly from the previous segment. It often feels like it ignores the prior context and starts abruptly as if it were an unrelated piece. Is there a trick to workaround the bug and ensure the model actually continues the track seamlessly from the given point?

Workspaces are full of bugs:

  • Workspaces keep disappearing then re-appearing.
  • Sometimes workspaces appear duplicated in the list.
  • Deleting workspaces does not work. I believe also, there used to be a trashed workspaces area, which I can no longer find.
  • Also the number of songs in the workspaces is not always accurate.
  • Workspaces are usually sorted by last updated workspace. Sometimes they are sorted/ordered by last updated workspace, sometimes they are in a random order.
  • In the Create/Workspaces tab we used to be able to select a song and then SHIFT CLICK another song at the bottom and it would select ALL the songs in-between. You can still do this in the Library tab. Please restore this feature. Thank you.

@sand depot Mate please for the sake of everything. FIX V5 it is a pain. Most extends sound like trash a total glitch fest each time, it makes no sense what the AI is doing it is just madness and sounds terrible. I wasted so much credits for literally nothing. If you can't one shot a song in V5 you are screwed!

The only way to fix it is using 4.5+ for extends because with V5 you will loose 20-50 tries just to get 1 good extend.

Same goes for Cover songs or Persona in general. Nothing sounds like the Persona anymore. It is like not using them at all. Why do we even create persona if V5 just does what it wants? It is no fun anymore. V5 is good if you really can create a song in one take but Extends, Persona or Cover songs is just a pain and hasn't gotten any better since V5 launched. Also Remasters sound so much like trash in 95% of the time. They have weird dull, or muffled sounds, strange mixes in general and glitches as always.

Before the UI update there was a global lyrics model switcher. Now the Simple mode is always using the classic model. The only lyrics model switcher I can find is in the Custom panel (where ReMi is selected).

I know that ReMi lyrics are often top or flop, but I just can't stand the Neon City Lights of the classic model...

Please bring back the model switcher for Simple mode (or make it pick up the setting from the Custom mode)

New bug in this horrible version : I keep getting the exact same melody generation after generation? and no I don't wanne change the prompt, it's general enough. working with suno since V1 and never got this issue, it's just a broken engine that should be fixed not try to work around something so basic in it's function - generations should be different from each other (like the past 2 years....) without needing to change the prompt every time. and no im not making a cover. here are 4 examples. I get many more. my style prompt is very basic " sleaze rock and glam metal, 80s-inspired sound, energetic guitar lines, and raw, gritty vocals" and lyrics prompt is the most general starting with "[intro]" and tghat all. here is what I get, exact melodies

I am a Premier subscriber and am experiencing a critical issue with the Create button. I have spent significant effort over the past 2 days to set up my project correctly: I filled out a detailed prompt, added my Persona («gera voice focus on my voice»), inserted Russian lyrics, and attempted to upload audio for inspiration or remixing. However, when I press the Create button, it lights up, a loading animation appears briefly, but no track is generated. The track does not appear in my Library or Trash, and no credits are deducted, yet I get no result.

I have tried:

  • Refreshing the page and clearing the cache.
  • Using different browsers (Chrome, Firefox) and the mobile app.
  • Simplifying the prompt and disabling Advanced Options.
  • Checking server status (stable as of 03.10.2025, 22:03 EEST).

Despite my efforts, the problem persists. This has wasted 2 days of my time, caused me to lose approximately credits due to previous failed attempts (as seen in my account history), and prevented me from completing my project («Улетай» – a dance-pop track with bass and violins). would love to show you but as I can't find the button anymore, hard to explain. Once in the buttom player bar, there was a "bookmark" button that allowed you to identify your preferred amongst all in a workspace. result is that it puts the track on top, over the list of all track in that workspace, really nice.

I think something is broke with extend. I am trying to extend and extend ie part 3. Using v4.5+ and the lyrics are garbled The best lyrics are ones it is rehashing from the original song that are not in the extend. This is with 5% weird. Tried with different levels of audio influence. Also tried different models. This used to work. What should I do differently to finish this song?😭

Since I mainly work with covers, I am noticing how V5 has a problem resolving melodies. It leaves a verse or chorus hanging because the AI decides to drastically change a melody that is at 100% audio influence.

When I create separated steams for a track in Safari, they show up fine. But when I open the same track in Chrome on the same computer, those steams doesn’t appear.

Looks like the steams are only visible in Safari, not in Chrome. Is this a known issue?

Honestly I'm sick of it that SUNO cuts off songs seconds before the song would have been finished. It is so freakin annoying. And then you have to do dozens of extends especially with V5 to get one simple fast ending instead of another 3-4 minute track. FIX THIS! This is by far still the most annoying thing about SUNO and it just makes no sense. Regardless how long Personas are or Audios or Lyrics it cuts off as it wants like totally random.

Using Microsoft Edge, I've narrowed down when remasters sometimes do not show up in the Create song list.
The remasters are somehow flagged as disliked when newly generated.
Unchecking the Hide Disliked filter makes the songs that are still generating appear...

As I mentioned I am using V5 most of the time now but it also happens with 4.5+ too. Makes not much difference in this case. I have fully structured prompts and it is absolutely random how it reacts. Regardless how long the Audios, Persona etc are sometimes it creates full songs even 7 min ones and then others it cuts off each time only maybe 5-20 sec before the song is done. Just noticed the more detailed the prompts are the more it cuts off songs mid word often times. It makes absolutely no sense. I would totally get it if it cuts off a song at a silent moment but not in the middle of a word or in the middle of Chorus / Verse.

Songs exported by Suno Studio remain forever in a "loading" state, i.e. the spinner that appears where the duration should be never disappears and the song is not playable:

what is happening with suno v5, it says beta, so i guess they're still working on it, but they shouldn't have released it until it was ready. ALL my songs have come out wrong, the vocals slurrs the words, or add words not written in the lyrics. the music goes off tune and occasionally cut off. this is so frustrating. is there a way to contact suno to tell them what our problems are so they can be aware of it. I need to make music for a album Im working on. I wonder if its because they've had so many lawsuits they want to lesson the lyrics usage so the vocals don't sound like music artist in the mainstream. Are they are trying to discourage us from using too many lyrics in our songs. because I notice when I use hooks and 1 verse the songs come out fine. but if I have a 3 min song, no way, it's back to stupid music sound. Since version 5 came out, the extender function hasn't been able to make a correct connection between the original and the extension. It gives strange results, as if it can't fit the two parts together.
When you edit the entire chorus, the editor usually doesn't maintain the song's tune.
I'm in a situation where I can't edit or extend it. I have to leave the songs as they are. At most, I can edit short words, but long ones don't work.

I've noticed that many songs sound great on one playback device but only mediocre or even terrible on others. For example, metal songs often sound good through headphones, but when you play them on a JBL speaker, you just think "WTF, this sounds awful." Why is that? Is it a bug? Because with songs from real artists, they usually sound good on all playback devices if they were good at one playback device. By the way: Has the "Suno Ruins Bridges Bug" been worked on yet? There is a dumb workaround for it. Click of "Open in Legacy Editor" it opens the old Editor. Then left upper corner. there are these 3 dots. Last is "New Editor" click on it and it loads the new editor. It is plain dumb but it is at least working.

V5 just completely ignores the Persona. The only way it even uses it is if the Audio Influence is set to 100% but then it just remakes the original Persona track note for note with the new lyrics. With V4.5 setting it at 85% would keep the same feel and the same vocalist but no matter what you set it at with V5 it just ignores both the feel and the vocalist and does whatever it wants.

I have been unable to log into my Suno pro account for several weeks. When I enter my phone number it goes to an account called TokyoDesigns911 which is not mine. When I check the account it shows my phone number but of course none of my library is there. I have contacted Suno support several times but have not received any help.

I'm having this issue now with EVERY replaced section or extended section of my song where Suno doesn't follow the lyrics. It uses lyrics that already happened previously in the song and sort of repeats it. It's super annoying and a waste of credits. I have a weird thing going on, making v5 now completely useless unless I create in v4.5+ and then remaster in v5 . It is using my style prompt for lyrics constantly. is there a general bug for that or do I have a weird disease? 🙂

Then, by the time the vocal makes its elusive entrance, it mumbles the first words. wtf lol

My issue is the lack of a "style summary" under "song details" when I have remastered a track or covered another track or remixed a track.

V5 still gives ohhh ahhh intros when trying to do rap 100% of the time. always mmm ohhh ahhh mmmm intros, from day 1, please fix this. impossible to work with this version. other styles have major issues too. like the fact every single intro is the same melody and tune. just listen to everything posted in chats with v5. no matter the style all start the same just with different instrument

The problem with Suno's music creation is that a song usually needs a main melody occurring, whether it's an instrument solo or vocal. Even their instrumentals are plagued by soloing, while they can't just simply be background music or chords most of the time.
So now V5 favors solo vocal runs... I personally don't mind the tradeoff, but I think the core issue I described should be addressed.

If it happens sometimes, oh well, but it's all the time. every generation related to rap (others too but on rap it's almost 100% of them). and the worst problem that t sounds kinda identical to each other. there is no variation anymore in the intros. frankly after 1000 credits of the exact same, I don't think I listened past the first 10 seconds in any of them, since it's the same 10 secs no mater the prompt, and I don't like this at all. no matter the lyrics, the rap genre I ask for. the manipulations I try to do, like asking for intros with no vocals, or add this or exclude that. it's either I don't add intro command and then the singing starts the first second ( I don't want that), or I ask for one and get ohhh ahhh all the time, with some guitar or violin or acapela or whatever V5 try to do which isn't rap related music. I found it in other genres too, but didn't experiment with them when I see such poor results from the start. I still have my first try with rap in V1, which blew my mind. and sadly it's superior to V5 rap

Extend Feature: when extending from any point (both web and iOS AP) the new extension will insert the beginning of the song. I will add my lyrics for the extension and the new generation will either insert the intro between the bridge and the final chorus, or go generate with the new lyrics but start the song over again after the the final chorus or outro. The extension seems to be stuck at creating 3+ minutes.

I cleared my browser cache and that ended the Style section words being sung in the song, but it is GD difficult to stop v5 from adding voices singing nonsense in my instrumental intros and instrumental sections. Putting "adding voices and vocals to Intro section or Instrumentals" in the excluded styles SOMETIMES seems to work. But it ignores the no vocals instructions in the Styles section or if I put an instruction in the Lyrics. If anyone has a proven solution, please share! ♥️

When you delete songs that you dont need in the My Workspace, you cant delete other selections. You have no choice but to refresh the page. Then you can delete your selections again. You have to do this over and over every time you delete some tracks in the list.

The feature to add instrumental to an uploaded vocal doesn't seem to work for me. I haven't had a single success with that. It will add a backing of voices, or have an incomplete song, mangle the words on the vocal to give different lyrics, go out of tune, out of sync with the vocal, mismatched instrumentation (timing and key). Some really horrible stuff.

I'm very commonly having an issue (primarily in the Cover feature) where a generation will get confused part way through a song, and kick off from a random point, as if a record or CD skip. A few days ago it was happening in maybe 1/4 of my tracks, which was annoying. But now its seeming like 3/4 of my tracks are becoming jumbled.

i was about to say the same about extentions, most of the time they skip like a broken record one or twice (iem using v5 by the way). also, i don't know how useful the the sliders truely are in extentions. i just want to do as usual with them, keeping the same sound but just extending the song, i don't want any weird stuff, any real style changing and when i put the audio influence higher her's what makes the sound skip. the feature usage now in general makes me pretty uneasy cause it feels less intuitive than before

Ok Suno team, you guys are awesome and I cannot thank you enough for this product, but let's talk about workspace list browsing. It needs significant work, the new infinite scrolling feature introduced regressions that are extremely disruptive to workflow. When I back out of a workspace to go to a different one, if I haven't refreshed the suno.com page in the past 5 minutes (because I'm working in a workspace for longer than 5 minutes) then the infinite scroll feature times out I guess? It spins for about a minute, then shows "no workspaces found". To fix, I have to refresh the page, wait 30 seconds for it to load the initial starting point page 1 of the workspaces list and then I can infinite scroll.

If I then load another workspace, and spend more than 5 minutes in there, I have to go through that whole process again to swap to a different workspace. Since I spent more than 5 minutes in a workspace, pretty much any time I'm working on something, the end result is I have to do the above proicess every single time I change workspaces. It's incredibly infuriating.

Even more frustrating is that the back button in the browser AND the back button within the suno workspace that returns you to the main workspaces directory list does not remember your scroll position so every time you back out of a workspace no matter how you do it, you have to start at page 1 again. I have 350+ workspaces, thats 35 pages of scrolling potentially just to change to a different workspace that might be located chronologically just below the current workspace I'm working on.

This poor performance is present on any browser I use, and on any device I use. I've tried Opera, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and I've tried all 4 browsers on two totally different devices, one macos, the other windows. And the same issue whether I'm using an iphone or android. This issue also follows on any device, regardless of internet connection I am using. I have symmetrical gigabit fiber at home, it's not a bandwidth issue. I've ruled out caching, browser issues, and network at this point, all that remains is the website code.

It takes a lot for me to stop and report an issue because I know all of this ai stuff is cutting edge, and pioneering a new frontier and bugs and glitches are part of the process, i get it. But this is like nails on a chalkboard for my brain at this point

This is not an AI related issue, it's just standard web app design issues that really should not have made it into production, yall can do better here. I've literally spent half the day today trying to vibe code a tampermonkey script to give me back paginated workspace scrolling to stop the thousand deaths my brain dies trying to use the infinite scrolling list. Also, what if users could have the ability to disable the workspace thumbnail image? I would love for a plain text directory to scroll through as an option to increase responsiveness and performance, would help yall with CDN costs too.

i kinda figured out a workaround, i made a cover of the original song i wanted to extend, but with the lyrics changed from certain point to the part i wanted extend, so it doesn't loses it's identity. after a couple tries, i finished my song...but IT'S NOT IDEAL, extend doesn't work at all, bunch of random gibberish and repeated stuff that's not even on the actual lyrics.... please, work on that, i love suno and i want to keep loving it.

Dang the website needs a complete overhaul.. All this bloat is causing all sorts of issues with the website.

1: The website tells me i have no workspaces. Not even the default one.
2: Scrolling down the workspace list (once the website actually recognizes i have lots of custom workspaces) is now completely broken and it won't scroll through all the workspaces and just sits there loading.

I've cleared browsing data countless times. This is a website issue. Most likely caused by all that bloat. The dev console also returns a ton of errors and other issues with the website.

Since we're paying for a subscription, fixing this really should take first priority.

It's becoming increasingly frustrating when using the editor to replace/add a section, and it just doesn't play the 2nd version. It gives you 2 versions, but when clicking play on the 2nd version to check how it sounds in comparison, that version just disappears, then audio plays the original. The 2nd version is just gone from this context window completely at this point. This happens to me like 30% of the time when using these features.

Hi, has anyone else been having trouble with Hook? No matter how hard I try to upload my video, it just gives me an error message. It's 35 MB and doesn't contain any nudity or anything. IMHO AI is rejecting it. Mine had no nudity, but I guess the melons were too large so had to pan the frame in my NLE tool where ever that character was to obfuscate her body. Took 3 attempts at it & SAME video*(same material, but just panned differently)* eventually made it through.

My best guess is the spraypaint 'tagging' might have something recognized as a gang sign - or interpreting the tag as profanity. On one hand, it seems a bit heavy handed with moderation - on the other a visit over to civitai will give one an appreciation for the propensity of folks to 'go off the rails' & get Suno in deep excriment.

Willing to bet that triggers 'nudity' alarm. I've seen rather suggestive material on hooks, but think all of it as thoroughly clothed. I'm still a noob on the hooks thing... Might check my hook as I have 3-4 shapely women and see how yours might compare with respect to something that might trigger it. I went from naughty to ok by moving the pan literally ~50px over for one of the characters..... just guessing though. Hope it helps!

Hey, has anybody seen a bug where when requesting a full song after an extend the full song's initial pieces become super low quality? It's like echo-ey but also like bitrate got much lower for that initial piece. They sound normal in the original clips, but they get messed up in the full song.

@sand depot Please Fix Studio it is annoying. I select a section and generate a Cello part and get blank parts and still my credits are used. This is not okay. I wasted 6-7 tries like that and each time the generate section was blank.

When you edit your profile banner it says max 1280 X 700

I used an image of that size but the result was way to zoomed in to be useful.
I resized it by 50% and it was still the same.

I give up. I've had enough. The stems are completely unusable. Why do the stems always sound completely different from the actual song? There were no problems with version 4.5+. But since v5, I can't use any stems at all because some kind of noise is always included. Either some kind of crackling noise or an annoying shimmer. Or the vocals suddenly sound mono. I've reported it countless times, but I don't even get a response. I reported it weeks ago. I waste 50 credits each time on second versions that suddenly make the song sound like it was generated with version 3.5. I think I've spent over 500 credits on stems I can't use.

It's best to upload JPG images. This is also a problem with Suno. The images have to be very small, ideally so pixelated that you can't see anything anymore (the best example is the profile banner – no matter how large and sharp the image is, Suno compresses it so much that it ends up looking terrible).

when multi transfering from one workspace to another , it adds up each amount so first transfer is 16 , i then do another at 16 says 32 sent over and i could add a couple of tracks to transfer it would say 34 transfered then try again it wont work i have to refresh , on 6th hour transfering over 2k tracks , shamefull

I wasted 5 hours for nothing. I wasted 100 over 100s of credits FOR NOTHING. I mark everything in my song purely MALE voice centered and I still get a female vocals verse or bridge etc. Then I tried to fix that in Studio. And 99% of the time all I got was female again. And then I finally managed to get a damn MALE Voice finished the track and all the other vocals sections after I export the full song sounds dull, barley audible. Then I tried to enhance volume of those voice section not working at all. Makes nearly no difference. Then I thought okay I could "Remaster" this track and maybe get something better. Wasted again 6 different tries, subtle, normal and high AND ALL ARE TRASH. This is not even englisch anymore this guy is singing. All is like a gibberish washed up dogsh.t! Not even is it the same loudness it is no actual language anymore. It makes really fun creating music...

OVER SUNO ISSUE: This can't be just me because it wasn't the case with 4.5+ before but it is not normal anymore how bad V5 is with spelling. 8 out of 10 songs get misspelled words, weird gibberish or other lyric issues. And it is exhausting to say at least. This ruined my mood so much within the last 2 days me wasting countless hours in fixing Suno's errors.

the TLDR, I change the image, it buffers for a min and then defaults back to the default color gradient. the image thats supposed to be there only shows up in the playbar, and the embedd link, on the playlist/song page and info-screen it's the default color screen, and I've got no clue why. I report this for a while now but especially the last days it got so much worse. Today really brought it to a whole nother sh.tshow level. I wasted so much credits. The thing VanFersen mentioned earlier, with gibberish vocals and vocals not following prompts in v5, is something many of us are struggling with. I've seen multiple people complaining about this, myself included, and I'm pretty sure we talked about it in studio feedback as well. I know I've mentioned it extensively in tech-prompt-talk. Haven't seen any responses anywhere to this problem. I know this probably isn't a quick easy fix, but knowing if the people that work on this type of thing are aware of the problem might at least ease some of the frustration many of us have been feeling.

I’m very interested in understanding how many of the reports about gibberish vocals might be connected to their use. That may not always be the case, of course, so if you’re experiencing this issue and haven’t been using the sliders, please feel free to DM me with a few examples and any information you can provide that would help to reproduce this err.

Additionally, you can always share any bugs, concerns, or song links that illustrate the issue at suno.com/feedback. Including steps to reproduce is extremely helpful and often speeds up the process of identifying and resolving the issue.

I know personally that gibberish is likely to come up even without touching the sliders at all. I'm sure I have examples, but they are buried under 100s of attempts lol. But I will mention, the suggested method of gradual changes to sliders is VERY credit heavy, and we're already struggling with how many we're using to get passable results. I do also feel like certain genres struggle with gibberish more than others, and I can definitely say for a fact it struggles when we ask for more extreme vocal styles.

Hi….. I notice when I use” Reuse style”, 9 times out of 10 it will ignore the negative prompt field…. That and also the iOS app is really heavy on the battery for no good reason. That’s all~

Sometimes an answer is not an answer. Don't you think that we all tried all variations by now. Sliders, no Sliders, all the way up and down with %. It MAKES NO DIFFERENCE. V5 is just broken in that aspect. Same with Personas. They became more or less obsolete because of V5. They never sound the same, never sound like the actual Persona at all. All that it is doing is mimicking the tone or type of phrasing this persona does. Anyway but that is still THE LEAST of an issue. But creating songs having an absolute banger of a song and then 1 freakin Word or more are ruining the whole song. Or the Ai forcefully wants to use both male and female voices even if you haven't asked for it. And generating a new section creates again the same wrong gender sequenz etc. All major issues since V5.

BUT ONCE again: The gibberish, misspelled lyrics, wrong words is the WORST of them all. And it is literally killing great songs and motivation. If you waste 5-6 hours to fix one freakin song because the AI messes up it is not fun anymore.

And honestly giving an "answer": Try with Sliders. Not even a suggestion of "We could give you some credits back as refund to try even more" but yet again after already loosing so much credits for NOTHING, just saying "Waste even more credits, maybe you get something good after the 1000 try or so" - And what is it worth if one out of 20 or even more is good - If this one is not great as a whole? Maybe we get a finally good song in terms of "There are no lyrics issue FINALLY" but the song itself is not a banger, not great. But on the other side loosing dozens of amazing songs we will never get back like that just because of a buggy AI, is not great at all. And doing Remaster with V5 is pointless again because it is just copying the same misspelled gibberish in the Remaster again. And even Cover does that at many occasions besides cover never really sounds the same anymore even if you use the Audio Slider at 100%. Not motivating at all!

The only thing that somehow works (not all the time but more than the other way around) is not using a PERSONA at all. V5 can't handle it. Persona somehow is messing up the lyrics. Sadly. Even if you use "Vocals only" extracted stems. Makes no difference. Also fact is that Suno hates Rock music. This is the genre which causes most issues with lyrics so far. But there is no thumb rule in the end. To nothing.

One helpful next step might be to start a few threads where we can log song examples along with short notes about what’s happening. Based on what you and others shared (thank you for that!), a few areas worth tracking could include:

•    v5 not following prompt guidance (gibberish output)
•    false positive flagging
•    gender influence not applying
•    persona not behaving as expected

These are all new, evolving tools, so this period is as much about exploration and discovery as it is refinement. Every report helps us learn and grow together. And there is for sure room to grow, always.

Extending and replacing sections in V5 both create a noticeable drop in volume and quality at the point where they start. I've been trying to make songs in Swedish and they mispronounce at least one or two words, I've spent hundreds of credits trying to bruteforce this away and it's resulted in absolutely nothing.

Also, and this is even freakier: I made some songs and a persona recently that all contain the prompt "throat singing", but now I'm trying to create something entirely different and throat singing still pops up in small sections, especially in the very intro.

This is very frustrating, especially since the credits I wasted confirming these issues are consistently reproducible and has no exceptions aren't coming back.

I'll stop using Suno for now I guess because there's no way for me to get decent songs out of V5.

I send you a DM with close to 30 Tracks and this is only a tiny portion of what went wrong so far. I invested again more than an hour of my time. Instead of creating music.

Take this seriously. Because honestly yesterday I really felt like being in the wrong movie. Because we talked with you for hours. People where collecting issues and in the end you posted this and tagged me in it:

  • Persona models from earlier versions not working or missing.
  • Exclusion commands and filters not functioning as intended.
  • Some features appear or disappear inconsistently between sessions.

And then after I read this post I told you that these are not the ones we all talked about being most urgent. Then you answered of course mine are mentioned are important too. NO David they are THE MOST IMPORTANT. Not important too. Because why are we even mentioning all this stuff and then the focus goes back to something else again. It makes no sense cleaning the house if the foundation it crumbling. In this moment I really didn't feel taken seriously and not just me the other too. Because you tagged me at this message but I never said that these 3 aspects are such important ones. I came forward like others too because of much more important ones.

And none of this stuff was on the "Urgent MATTER list" None of them! Infact all of this stuff is good if it is fixed but not urgent at all. Those are not game breaking. And we told you this a couple of times. Just yesterday alone 4 people @coral moth , @broken mulch , @void sage plus including myself told you that the most GAME BREAKING and really frustrating issues of the current model and even effecting 4.5+ are:

  • Misspelling Words (Lyrics), Absolute Gibberish, Not following the lyrics or skipping words and parts of the Lyrics
  • Extends in V5 are a mess. Especially all Electric Guitar/Drums Genre types like Rock/Metal/Blues and their Subgenres.

And those were 4 people at the same time but I read this all the time from countless people here and there.

THIS IS URGENT! Not some QoL stuff which might be good to have but isn't game breaking or in this case songs ruining. And we waste Credits aka Money on this stuff and a lot of time. Now that the suno.com/create Worskpaces page is broken in the same way as the "Move To Workspace" popup is broken, is there any chance both will get fixed (the latter has been broken for longer)? The problem seems to be related to lazy-loading, it's somewhat random whether or not the most recently used workspaces happen to be included in the initial batch of results. The "Workspace" drop-down in the "Save to..." section of the Create widget is always complete and correct, so the page already has a complete, sorted list of workspaces somewhere on the web client... ideally all workspace selection widgets would pull from that list?

I have collected what's been shared regarding them and will add this alongside what you and others previously shared regarding the issues you mentioned. Would like to note that your feelings on this are completely valid. The most important thing is that you enjoy the experience and anything we can do to improve that is always the most important thing.

The prior requests I highlighted (Persona concerns, Commands not functioning, Features disappearing) were brought up to help pinpoint evidence of what was occurring and how to reproduce it. For the ones you mentioned, lots of evidence had surfaced and was collected.

I'm suddenly not able to use public personas anymore. I have 2 accounts, both with premiere plan and have tried turning on/off public on both the persona and the song it's created from, follow/unfollow and like/unlike from both accounts. The screen is completely black, except for the icons on the left-hand menu. Generated 8 tracks from persona and covered audio 8 mins long. All 8 generated results are the exact same length, 6min 43.

Either:
Bug: There is a limit on covered audio/persona audio which is not being revealed during the UX path.

Or:
Bug: audio files are mistakenly capping renders from covered or persona based audio at 6 mins 43.

Related Context:
Using Brave Browser with minimal accessibility extensions.

Unrelated context:
I have burned nearly 100 credits on these renders (trying a remaster of the upload next)

and also spent about 3 hours intricately sewing the waveform together to guide the generator properly. On top of the last two days and over 1000 credits trying to perfect this track and the interface always falling short of my needs.

In the Beta Studio (legacy editor is not affected), I was having difficulty regenerating small sections of a song. The section regenerations seemed to start from the beginning of the track.

Admittedly, I haven’t had time to dive into the new Beta Studio, so I may have just been in the wrong view or something.

Btw, about the views, really cool that you can toggle between the timeline view! That was a breath of fresh air from a UI perspective, having that choice.

Suno Generation with V5 seems broken..
I have been using Suno since 2023 and always felt like I got what I asked for, over the last 48-72 hours I have been getting non-stop garbage. Ethereal wailing at the start of my songs before any lyrics are spoken, incoherent vocals at the end (actually rapping gibberish rather than actual lyrics on multiple songs) and now it doesn't even seem to want to follow style prompts properly.

I hate to sound emotional about this but it feels like every time I lock in on a workflow something on the backend completely screws that flow up. It happened first with the flip to v4.5 from v4 and then again from v4.5 to v5 which was an easier transition due to the style prompt length and understanding.

I have upgraded to a premier account at the start of the month because I saw V5 and knew its potential because I had used it with pre-purchased credits prior to upgrade. Some of the songs I have generated with V5 have generally been fire but this shift has 100% happened within the last 72 hours. I still have 8000+ credits with 10 days left and I don't want to generate anything because the quality is absolute 💩. No offence devs, js something needs to revert

V5 audio volume in songs will just randomly raise or lower and the quality will suddenly tank and then revert. a lot of my songs have gotten screwed up because of this. another issue is a song cuts to a different melody or part of the song almost like i brought it to editor and deleted a segment and just left it how it was. This is extremely frustrating because i have had to scrap over 50 songs because of this.

@sand depot I really do not know what it is but for me over the course of the last weeks all seems so random. There are days stuff works like a miracle first try and then you spend 2 days to fix one extend of a song. Then you finally thought V5 managed to get rid of those fast sung verses, without feeling and real flow just like to get it over with - this is how it sounds. And then it is back again. Suno feels like a schizophrenic girlfriend who is A on one day but B or C or D on the other or both at the same time. There is no consistency in literally nothing. Some stuff you thought finally broke the curse and back again and you start at zero. It is like a lottery or playing gacha games. Your rates are low and try if you get lucky but most of the time you aren't I am down at 7439 credits now and I wasted 3/4 of it for wasted garbage.

So:

  1. Misspelled lyrics, left out words or Gibberish (even worse with Personas most of the time)
  2. Feeling in the voice does not replace a flat melody or just flat structure
  3. Too many songs start with "Ahhh, uhhh or ohhh's" sometimes it is ok but not always
  4. Extends are garbage most of the time (best is to leave all sliders alone)
  5. Audio quality is not stable. Sometimes songs stark louder and get muffled and dull at the end or the opposite around
  6. To many weird artifacts. Weird clicks or sound effect which have no Value and in the end only produce an unclean mix.
  7. Voices are unstable. Sometimes start male, then female without asking or mix them together
  8. Cut off songs regardless of Prompt, Persona or Audio used
  9. Rushing songs is not gone. Still present

Hello, I have a new information about my black screen (on web and app) :
it works ok with 4G (web and app), but it is still KO with my home wifi connection. With wifi, I have got this error : ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID. Do you have any idea what might be causing the problem with wifi ? Do I send a mail to the support ?
Then, later, I rebooted my Wi-Fi box and SUNO is working again 🙂

Guys an idea how to fix the glitch via web were its stats you are on the annual plan when you im on the monthly pro plan? This is stopping me from upgrading to premiere now. I dont know if this is glitch on my side or sunos. I have contacted support but it takes them a while to respond.

Thanks. I just tried some things with this and I get similar results, so have forwarded these on to be looked at in case something can be done to change the way this behaves.

Something that might help to get a longer instrumental outro for this specific song is to extend from around 8 seconds into the part 2 you linked and prompt in the lyrics just for [instrumental]. I got a part 3 about 1:15 long by doing this. Try to avoid mentioning "outro" as this is likely to make the song end (even though you put "2 minutes" times don't tend to have any effect.) When you get the full song from this new 3rd part it will join everything back together.

I seem to be having issues with generating. I’ve tried different methods of prompts but not sure if it’s bugged or what regardless of how I format the prompts it is still read in the song. For example I hit Instrumental. And it’s still over here singing the style prompt 😭

Extending a song. Choosing my "Extend from" time. Thought I was trippin'. I put "00:58" hit enter, it changed to "00:57". I thought I made a mistake and tried again and watched it change to 57 after i typed 58 and hit enter. I said ok maybe, for some reason, I can't choose that point, let's try "00:59", ..., it changed it to "00:58". Having a real Curly from the 3 stooges moment here.

Also, it changes it's position from left justification to right under the bar with the waveform you can drag select. Where it says "Extend from". Slippery little guy.

dragging the bar let's me adjust but entering in numbers results in it reverting to the first extend time i chose it seems. but can drag to adjust still.

Extend is just so problematic since they updated to V5 even using V4.5+ I get dozens of 4 seconds, 8 seconds Credits refunded I got one single 32 second gen only for it not to follow any instructions, and I took the advice to leave the sliders alone and the issue still happens. Only a few days ago I got lucky and for about an hour I could extend for 1 min.15 and it worked mostly. But so many credits wasted and I use this function a lot to finish off my songs

I should add that I am giving the extend time not just pushing the slider to the last few seconds of a track, even moving the slider to give 40 seconds of the existing track results in the 3 second credits refunded issue. I swear those credits are not always refunded either

Having issues with song generations. The last few weeks, my songs start ok, but then it starts incorporating my voice/instrumental prompts into the lyrics, singing them as if they are part of the lyrics! I have emailed several timnes, and cannot get a reply. Anyone having this issue, and have you found a successful fix?

I am getting a greatly increase in broken vocals/words missing ending sounds/entire words missing from lines, nonsense phrases thrown in or garbled lines. I usually finish a month of credits with a good 1000 cred left, but i had to use it up based on the amount of songs that didn't follow instruction, lyrics, or garbled/unclear vocals/unfinished lyric speech, poor sound quality. It's supposed to be improved, but i'm wasting a lot more credits to get the clear, sharp diction/enunciation and feel like I've put in more bug reports this month than normal. And I'm not sure if any of it is helping. And getting glitches/sound decay when not requested. will this improve soon I hope? I can't afford to waste so many credits on songs of low quality 🙁

I have this same issue.
Sometimes it sounds like the AI is hopping a lyrics line up (that it just sang) or it is just gibberish you can't understand. This has happened with multiple songs with different styles, vocals, point of origin in song.

I have probably sent 1 or 2 bug reports in general but now I have sent about 10 or more in 2 days. I can't literally generate any songs at the moment, the situation is that bad.

What is going on?

It has been a major issue since the update, there have always been odd issues with extend but now it's basically unusable.
A few of us have been reporting here but there seems to be no traction on the issue.
I can't finish my songs now as I use extend to add an extended outro and so many credits have been used up just trying to get a functioning extend
I need this as often I cover an instrumental stem from another generation and the cover is only 4 mins something and cuts off the end verses/outro
I wish this would get fixed.

Hi, was told to pop a msg about an issue I'm having with the suno halloween contest submission here. It's for the contest currently up on the homepage of the suno app. I can't submit a song if I change anything about it. I've read the rules carefully, and I don't seem to be doing anything wrong. From what I've seen from checking the songs coming up in the new songs category on the homepage, some songs have the tick to say they've been submitted and some don't. I've tried the usual logging out, refreshing and so forth. I've put in a ticket about it, but was asked to post here to let ppl know, as it might only be some users experiencing problems. Edit: have discovered that only the song that is linked to the remix button is allowing submission.

Acoustic guitars are glitchy in 3/4 or 6/8-time signature. I have so many generations where the acoustic guitar ends up as an annoying scraping sound on upbeats and is slightly off time. Once it appears in a song, it doesn't let up until the guitar is stopped. Previously I had thought it was a bad tambourine sound, but it's the guitars.
This has occurred since day one of V5.

In creator panel it's show correctly what track I'm remixing. But unfortunately after generation it links up with general artist account, not that specific song. Becouse of that I can't submit it for contest.

Covers now tend to even split between indicated verses and choruses.
For example, the vocal will stop in the middle of a verse just to sing a chorus melody...

Anyone else think the stems are way off from the original audio at times? I regenerated 6 versions of drums and all of them have loud cymbals in it, but in the original, you can't even hear the cymbals. It really takes away from the song and makes the custom editing process pointless. I just wanted to remove one backing vocal flaw out, but didnt want to change the entire sound of the song.

Does anyone have problems with extend? First of all the results is VERY bad, does not follow style, lyrics, has poor audio and very bad structure. I also had put in that it should be male voice, but in all results it is female voice. I had these problems for two weeks now and nothing seems to happen.

I have to believe this is a bug with personas. Most of my songs created with it will start out exactly the same way and change over time. This happens like 98-99% of the time. I can't prompt it to change up the beginning and when I try to edit the beginning a regenerate the beginning it doesn't match up well with the next block of music. Usually the opening verse.

Go check the current global top 3 — some of them have up to 50 accounts
They don’t need to follow anyone, yet they still get high averages and can endlessly like their own songs

Hello, I just joined Suno PRO and I have been experiencing many bugs on v5, more than when I was using the free versions. The bugs are usually related to the some beats not following the melody or other instruments at all, the song cutting entire phrases, or hiccups along the way. I've reported them all but I want to know what happens with the credits used, and how to avoid these types of bugs (if possible). Thanks!

I don't think there is a way to avoid the bugs as they happen randomly. Use v4.5+ if you want more stable results (but less quality)

Oct 20 2:01 AM PDT We have identified a potential root cause for error rates for the DynamoDB APIs in the US-EAST-1 Region. Based on our investigation, the issue appears to be related to DNS resolution of the DynamoDB API endpoint in US-EAST-1. We are working on multiple parallel paths to accelerate recovery. This issue also affects other AWS Services in the US-EAST-1 Region. Global services or features that rely on US-EAST-1 endpoints such as IAM updates and DynamoDB Global tables may also be experiencing issues. During this time, customers may be unable to create or update Support Cases. We recommend customers continue to retry any failed requests. We will continue to provide updates as we have more information to share, or by 2:45 AM.

Clicked generate and the songs haven't even showed up in my custom workspace, library or anywhere else. It did take my credits, though.. HAHAHA

The page number is no longer an editable field! Very bad, if you have hundreds of songs, and e.g. you are working on 100 creates you wanna just jump trough by typing a page number...

Oct 20 9:13 AM PDT We have taken additional mitigation steps to aid the recovery of the underlying internal subsystem responsible for monitoring the health of our network load balancers and are now seeing connectivity and API recovery for AWS services. We have also identified and are applying next steps to mitigate throttling of new EC2 instance launches. We will provide an update by 10:00 AM PDT.
