Had a search through, can't find something on this (apologies if I missed something).
I'm having an issue on remixing someone else's track.

They have the option to remix but all it's doing is creating a cover without linking back to their original work. (instead of remix at the end it defaults to cover and doesn't appear to link to the original track).
I'm obviously not going to publish, as I don't want my version to be released without the correct links and reference to the original creator.
Only on new creation today, I've a couple of other remixes done not published and when I check those, they have the correct link to original track / artist.

I left the lyrics field blank, entered words in both the style field and the negative prompt in the advanced options, and started generating the song. Normally, without lyrics, it shouldn't sing, but it started singing the prompt instead.
Furthermore, even when I tried generating it with lyrics normally, the lyrics were ignored and it started singing the prompt. Moreover, the prompt's content is being largely ignored.

Please excuse, I don't understand Japanese. Using Google Translate I see that you have "No Guitar, No Piano" and later "No Interjections" in the Style among many other things. Does that normally work for you? Ordinarily, I would put "Guitar, Piano, Interjections" in the Exclude section in Advanced.

I also note that you write, " Normally, without lyrics, it shouldn't sing" - Well, sometimes it will! If you don't want lyrics, select "Instrumental".

THIS. I had to top off credits two days after I topped off credits over this yesterday. There really must be a stronger word than "rage" to describe what I felt. You find yourself saving awful generations in the hopes that perhaps you can fade out after the few good seconds you generated that one time out of 30. I am attempting to extend a song - and EVERY extension today has turned into mud before ending. The quality of sound is nice at first and then turns obviously to garbage.

This is a new problem. Yesterday I made an extension that worked great (albeit slurring words unreasonably, but I was still ok with the result). But it did that uncharacteristic of v 4.5+ thing of going on beyond the ending. So a 4 minute song turned into a 7 minute song. 🙁 Today I was trying to get a more reasonable ending. Instead I'm just throwing away credits.

I've been getting this for a week now. Contacted Support and so on. I don't know what happened to SUNO, but I literally can't get a single song out of it that doesn't have degradation. I've pretty much given up on it. If 5 doesn't fix it, then I'm done.

Over the past several days, about 85 to 90 percent of my results have shown degrading audio quality after one or two minutes into the song. Instruments lose their texture, sounding hollow with odd echo effects and other issues. These are the same problems that existed in earlier versions but were mostly fixed with the upgrade to 4.5+. Now they are back and worse than ever.

I make music with mostly “analog” (as far as the AI understands it) instrumentation such as guitars, snare drum, upright bass, and percussion in a blues style. I wonder if the model has been trained so heavily on generic studio-produced pop and rap that it no longer handles realistic instruments well. The problem occurs mostly, though not exclusively, with percussion and drums. They start out fine but then sound progressively worse as the song continues.

This issue began after the recent UI update. I was working on a song and using the same prompt before and after that update. The problem only appeared afterward.

I have contacted Support, but their usual response is along the lines of “have you tried turning it off and on again” (clear browser cache, etc.). They have two stock replies to direct bug reports: either that the issue is on your side of the screen (it is not), or that they are constantly working to improve the platform and appreciate the feedback.

If it continues, I will cancel my subscription, because I have no interest in making the kind of music SUNO seems to be targeting with their recent updates. It is simply too expensive to waste two-thirds of my credits on buggy, unusable results.

You're right. The WAV standard doesn't allow image covers or extra non-basic metadata. Some apps might allow you to bake that information in, but it won't translate the moment you convert or pass it through another app. So it makes sense the downloaded WAV files don't have any of this.

Remember to always delete site data + restart your browser every now and then, to properly refresh the website and menus. This usually fixes most errors.
You'll know you've done it right cause you will need to login again. Otherwise, the cache clean-up wasn't properly done.

Every experienced Suno creator has a Notepad/text editor/note-taking app opened on their computer to temporarily backup their prompts and lyrics.
Remember: Just by refreshing the page or moving back/forward on your browser you can accidentally delete any unsaved written text. This happens on mostly every website, except for online text editors (Google docs, etc) that have an autosave feature. It's really easy to click on something by mistake and open a new page, losing all your progress because it's not there when you go back. But that's how websites work. It happens with youtube comments, with reddit comments, etc.
If you don't want to use a backup text editor, do at least copy the whole text you're working on to the clipboard every few minutes. That way, if something happens, you can paste it back.

To fellow Suno users who are VI like myself, there are ways around curent issues with Suno for us. Firstly, go to library to interact with all your songs and do what you can't do on the create page. Secondly, for the sliders, when you're on weirdness for example and it says moderate, press insert + space and try left and right arrow to change. Hope it helpsd.

More frequently, with various vocals, I have been noticing endings of lyrical phrases dropping consonants at the end of words. It's most noticeable with "s" which, in some cases, drastically changes the meaning of what is stated in the lyrics. Even examining the audio in a sound editor, there's no trace of the sss, d, or t etc...

Ok, tested v5. Especially the cover functionality. And... it seems that advanced settings don't really work. All covers are way too weird even if weirdness is set to 0. When a track is Remastered, the Display Style Summary disappears from the Song Detail page. This issue has been present for a long time and still persists.

Environment:

Suno v4.5 and later

Web version (tested on Chrome desktop)

Steps to Reproduce:

Generate a song and check the Display Style Summary on the Song Detail page.

Remaster the song.

After remastering, revisit the Song Detail page.

The Display Style Summary is missing.

Expected Result:
The Display Style Summary should remain visible on the Song Detail page even after remastering.

Actual Result:
The Display Style Summary disappears after remastering.

Additional Notes:
This bug has existed for quite some time but has not been fixed yet. It causes a loss of style information for users and should be addressed urgently.

Just awoke for the day to see v5 had gone live.
Tried generating a few times (four tries, eight gens) on something I had been trying for past couple days.
Fairly simple prompting - 80s arena rock, anthemic, male vocals.
Vocalist in each attempt sounds like the dude from the band The Darkness.
Instrumentation is kinda close to an 80s sound.
Each generation also produces repeated lyrics, though my written lyrics do not have repeats in these sections.
Half of these generations also completely skip the chunk of lyrics immediately following the BRIDGE of the song and go right into the next CHORUS.

This "upgrade" is garbage, as per normal, Suno does an upgrade, and its paying users get the priviledge of paying Suno to be their beta testers. When is this b.s. going to be resolved? The tempo ramps up to 1000 randomly, the drums randomly change to the sound of drumming on the hood of a car, random sounds appear, such as something I can only describe as throwing a toaster down the stairs. Also - put the dates back into the lyrics bottom, and why do we have the option to save a prompt but none to use the saved prompts / add them into the UI. GRR.

Many songs starts dull, muffled and not clear and then get clear and louder as the song progresses. To everyone struggling with splitting instrumentals; if you're developers, the python script demucs can be very helpful to you, its what I use rather than Sunos onboard splitting (sorry Suno team).

If you're not a developer it requires following an in-depth guide on github, expect 30~ mins if you don't know how to operate a command line.

In regards to the voices I find that covers are still working fine, so if you have an existing style you want to mimic but improve that's probably the better way to go at the moment until the team solves some things.

I keep hitting it, trying to edit lyrics/instructions. As I wanted a spoken strong commanding female voice, but got a singing one, that was weak and squeaky!

So was in the middle of re-wording the instructions and kept hitting it, but you can't undo that accidental selecting of an invisible instrumental button, to get your Lyrics back to carry on editing them, without reloading the page and re-adding all the info with use lyrics/style, then re-editing the bit you were editing and hope you don't hit it again.

Nah! What I meant is: It's probably because the V5 launch was rushed (investors are always pushing developers to release stuff ASAP, even if it's not ready), and given Suno's trajectory with new releases, it is expected for everything to be quite chaotic at first.
All these "grow-as-fast-as-possible" AI start-ups are basically using their clients (users) as Beta testers, instead of hiring/having Beta Testers of their own. Which is a BIG PITA for the end user, IMHO.
So if you hate that as much as me, best thing you can do is stay away for a few days when a new feature gets added, as this probably means that some things that used to work properly WILL NOT until they flesh things out.

Un-check "Hide Stems" in the file management "Filters" menu, and all generated stems will appear listed (If you don't see them, they migh be inside the default Workspace)
Yes, there seems to be a bug where "See extracted stems" doesn't appear when you re-open the stems window for a song that had Stems extracted. What I recommend to do for now is opening each Song want to stem in a new browser TAB separately, and do the Stem stuff there, making sure you don't close the Stems Window pop-up before you're finished doing whatever you want to do with the stems.

Don't know if it is a bug... But the Displayed Style Summary is missing after covering the song. Happens also with Remaster. It's only visible in the original gen which I rarely make public as most of the gens are faulty and need rework.
I hope this can be fixed. With long prompts it happens that you don't see the genre of the song.

Alright. So the song you used for making the persona - extract the stems for vocal and instruments. It's 10 credits. Then use the vocal stem to make the persona. You should only use a snippet of the stem. One with range. Like a verse and a chorus for example.

Please, please, please curate your golden datasets better. I’m hearing a lot of static again. That’s because you’re allowing something that shouldn’t be in that set. I don’t know who you guys are allowing to curate, but they’re not picking up on enough issues to give you a fully clean set.

I’m hearing incorrect notes, low notes, bad pitch, static, and a ton of other weird issues. All of this stems from your GOLDEN DATA SET, which needs to be HIGHLY curated. You can’t allow a single piece of bad music in there.

I like the panning, the wider spectrum of sounds, and the vocal harmonies. All those are good. My personal advice is to make a few models and tie them into one larger model (if you haven’t done this already). One model for voice, one for string instruments, one for percussion, one for horns, and so on.

You’ll never get every instrument perfect by mishmashing everything into one. They must remain separate and be called upon to create the song independently for the best-sounding music. That, in my humble opinion, is the only way you’ll ever get this right.

Please fix this bug. When covering a song, the music becomes slightly distorted — it keeps playing, then jumps back to the beginning and plays again, like it glitches or errors. Sometimes it skips ahead by 1–2 seconds and then jumps back, repeating this cycle.

I have to admit you guys really got a talent. A talent into ruin your AI even more with each freakin update. One thing is praised to be good (Better vocals) and not even that is true. And for this one reason at least a couple of dozens things are a mess and worse than before. it is like climbing a latter only to reach the next error or issue.

Glitches, weird sound artifacts, weird starts of songs like someone is breathing in which is not even a part of song. AND ONE OF THE WORST. Songs start either way less loud or less loud and muffled and as the song progresses the song gets louder and louder. Which makes no sense at all..

Voices are inconsistent and change even without extend. One Shots often change voices mid line. Or the song starts perfectly clean and crisp and then the vocals are damp and muffled like being played from a broke 5$ bucks kids radio. Or you hear weird explosions or if someone is messing with the cables at a concert and you her the cracking sounds, missing audio etc. The list seems endless. And as I see it we do not get any communication anyway. So we are posting, investing time and money but not much seems to change. Oh and the Editor is not loading again and the old one crashes if you wanna save a change.

Honestly what are you doing? Instead of an upgrade we only get another load of issues over and over again. Aren't you testing your stuff long enough to see this issues? Because as I see it literally everyone has issues. Nearly no one is happy. So how can all this issue be missed or are we the first test subjects paying for a broken test version?

And another major thing that got so much worse is the freakin endless repeating of Verses or Chorus where nothing should be sang at all. The song is done literally. All that is missing because SUNO WAS CUTTING OFF A SONG AGAIN (THIS SHOULD BE FIXED INSTEAD OF SO CALLED "BETTER VOCALS") is a freakin short Outro. Nearly each time they sing the chorus again or even Verse, Bridge and Final Chorus again.And it is another round of wasting credits only to get one lucky draw of a good ending after at least 20-30 tries. And honestly train your AI better. What is the purpose of adding explicit and punctual exact prompts when the AI does what it wants in the end anyway? If a chorus is not finished sung the song SHOULD NOT BE CUT OFF! I mean no one needs to have Master Degree to know that.

I would get it if a song is maybe cut off at a silent spot but mid word or mid line singing? And in most cases what bothers the most is that only a word, a freakin word or some words are missing and a small ending for the song to be done. And then we need to extend again and there is freakin Singing complete Chorus and Verses all over again where only a word or outro without words should be left. I do not even understand the logic how an AI could even think or having the dumb idea of singing again if there is nothing NOTHING to be sang about in the lyric section! If the only thing that is mentioned there is simply "[FADE OUT], [END]" there is no information at all for the AI to sing. So why is it singing especially if the song is already 5-7 min long?

And at this point I am really wondering: Are they even reading our stuff here? Do they really work on anything people countless times mentioned and mentioning over and over again (some stuff not fixed for weeks or even longer)? Not by one person but countless times! Do they even care about current or new issues? Or are they just working on the "NEXT UPDATE" to mess up even more?

I have tried three different web browsers but still there are no icon to the left where I can choose Studio.

So, a couple of bugs I run into today:

1. In the Studio, "Get MIDI" does seem to be doing something for a while, but... at the end of the process it doesn't return anything. I'd expect a MIDI download to pop up or something? If I try to get the midi of the same track again, it only briefly does something but doesn't return the file either way.
2. Listen to this: https://suno.com/s/saj22p8dpHuywLpp?time=30 (There are multiple instances of these audio defects throughout the clip). Try as I might, the track of the current official remix competition is unremixable due to those audio artifacts. At least there's no way of retaining the original vocals while building the rest of the track around it, as even repeated stem separation attempts all yield the same unusable versions of the vocal stem. Backing vocals (Vocal B), however, come out just fine, like the rest of the separated instrument tracks.

You can just type [Instrumental] in the lyrics box if you can't find the toggle switch. From what I understand, when you switch on instrumental mode, it will actually fill the lyrics section with the same tag anyways. At least that's what I used today for one of my generations and it worked fine.

Experiencing a bug this morning where when I try to extract stems for a new V5 song, the detected vocal stem track has loud scratching noises added to it, not present in the normal track. Regenerations result in the same thing, though slightly varied. I submitted a bug report.

ngl the worst update was removing the function to let the lyrics generate automatically per song generation, now i have to do it manually, plus i noticed that the lyrics would sort of influence the instrumental too for some reason, but it was perfect until the update with the lyrics thing

also just noticed this is the bugs channel - i don't know if it's considered a bug but comparing v4.5+ and v5 also has brought some downsides since, for some reason for certain genre mixes it completely ignores one genre over the other, whereas in v4.5 it would actually sound like all the genres mentioned, but now theres always 1 genre that overshadows the other

Bug Report: generating vocals creates a bass track

• I duplicated the original vocals
• then selected a part of the new vocal track, split
• selected "Vocals", the style: "dry vocals" (or strip vocals from effects), filled lyrics of this part, then "Recreate"
• the created Part is not a vocal part, but bass
  I repeated this several times, always the same result.
  Background: I'd like to get the vocals from any effects like reverb or echo to use the dry vocal track for cloning my voice in a special voice tool (kits.ai). That would help me very much to get better results. Cloning would also be cool tool for Suno!

If i recreate tracks in Studio it does not work properly. even with an empty style tab and the selected audio track on top (e.g. synth or drums) it wont just generate this instrument for me. it always generates 2-3 melodic instruments in the instrument tracks and it always does generate a full song on the vocal track. not sure if i have anything in the setting badly set up. but regenerating single tracks is not usable for me at all at the moment.

That's exactly what I wrote in my post before. It's not possible to recreate a track the way you want. In my case, recreating vocals created bass.

I’m getting a similar error to the one mentioned earlier. I was able to generate several bass and strings tracks without any problem, but when I tried to generate the drums it created all the instruments at once. I closed and reopened the browser, and then I was able to generate just the drum track. But when I tried to create the guitar track again, it bugged out and generated all instruments together in a single track.

Studio appears to be unusable even via web interface on mobile devices. It loads, allows you to select a song, but there doesn't seem to be any way to DO anything with that song other than extract stems
Seems like all other functions are either off-screen (you can't scroll the page) or are hidden somewhere? I clicked on everything visible and nothing leads to any kind of editing functionality
Using the web interface (desktop version of the site) NOT the app, so theoretically anything that works on a computer SHOULD be working for me too. Seems like a failure of design rather than of function, everything that I can see on screen seems to do what it sounds like it should do so it looks like everything is actually working but the non-scrollable page just makes things inaccessible

EDIT - after further testing, it DOES technically work, if you zoom all the way out. Which makes many of the controls incredibly fiddly, but that's more a function of screen size rather than Suno design
However it would be very much more accessible if the page were scrollable, so I could get to all those controls while still keeping them big enough to actually use them. Zero knowledge of web design so I actually don't know if you have any control over whether the page can scroll or if that's completely determined by the browser rather than the site itself. But IF you're able to make the Studio page fully scrollable (horizontal and vertical) it'd be a huge benefit to all the people who use the web interface on mobile devices
(Alternatively give the app all features and functions present in the web interface so we don't NEED to use the website)

v5 sounds nice, but it seems far more prone to attention failures, in the sense of mispronouncing or skipping words, than v4.5+ ever did. I just regenerated the same song three times, and in all 6 generations, not one of them could pronounce "plastic" correctly (usually sounding more like "tastic" or "castic"). One of them entirely skipped the lyrics in the outro section, and one pronounced "silhouette" as just "siloo". Literally could not get a single generation with all the words sung and pronounced correctly. v4.5+ had the occasional attention failure like this only rarely; now it's every generation.

Maybe it’s a bug, maybe just poor musical design: The AI keeps turning verse 3 into a bridge with a different, often weak or ballad-like beat. I want verse 3 to be exactly like verse 1 and 2, with the same beat. I call it verse 3 on purpose, not a bridge. The AI should recognize this and follow it, or there should be a tag to force the beat to stay consistent, because Suno often ruins songs by turning verses into weak bridges.

The gernal suno problem: It’s often extremely difficult to get a bridge or Verse 3 from Suno that actually increases or at least keeps the power. Unfortunately, that ruins reliably all disco, dance, electro, party, and Schlager songs.

If the song is v4.5+ your stems will be v4.5+, it doesn't update the song to V5 automatically, you will need to Remaster or Cover it as V5.

If the AI thinks something is "normal" in whatever genre it thinks it's working in, it'll include that element a majority of times even when directly instructed not to
I keep repeating this because it isn't being taken onboard - direct instructions from the user should always override genre norms, conventions or whatever else is causing the AI to do the thing that we told it not to do
Not just exclusions either, any other part of the prompt is liable to be ignored if it doesn't fit with what Suno thinks it's supposed to do. Unfortunately it isn't trained well enough to realise that what it's supposed to do, is what we ask it to do

Suno charges VAT incorrectly via Stripe. VAT can only be charged for B2C, but should not be charged for B2B. In order to do so, the payment process should expose the I'm purchasing as a business toggle. This reverses the VAT to the business that places the order and their country (EU).

I included an example that Stripe shows on their own website stripe.com/tax.

Can this be fixed please, because this forces B2B customers to pay taxes twice for the Suno subscription.

Been away from Suno for a couple of months and tried to remix a song i created, with my own lyrics and it's giving an error message saying there are copyrighted lyrics. in my own creation. Made even worse as the song is a club anthem style with only 4 lines of lyrics repeated throughout the tune!

Hello! The songs I create with V5 have a good start, but by the middle of the song, things start to go wrong, the sounds, voices, and instruments mix together, and nothing can be understood anymore. I think by removing the words "Robust Male Vocal" in the Style Box and instead use your lyric box with Meta Tags to instruct will increase your chances of getting what you want. Also, You could do Verse 2 like this: " [verse 2: Vocals: Male and Female] instead of Line by line. One last thing: I have found that the more I spend on Generations, the AI eventually tries to include things like this, but you need to be willing to spend to find out for yourself.

ps it is good that you do not have "Male" or "Female" selected. this also increases chances to have your lyric box Meta tags acted upon. instructions for Line by line can be tricky, but not impossible. Just harder to get.

There is a critical bug in the system related to the encoder or conversion process.(making plugged-out noises) This bug also affects the retrieval of full songs. Or/And it's possible that the "Exclude" setting for plosives or sibilance is incorrectly being applied as a positive condition when processing the full song.

There might be a significant issue with the process that splits and merges the audio source, or with a process designed to enhance only the vocal stem.

While this is likely a critical bug, it's probably an encoder issue and I believe it can be fixed very easily and simply.

A very simple possibility I can think of is a bug related to double-byte characters, or a process in the system that converts the audio to 16-bit and then restores it.

Alternatively, it could be a situation where the master track is being created by concatenating segments without any fading.

This is because if noise were actually occurring, it's highly likely that audio sources with extremely abrupt dynamics are being joined together.

The cover renderer has this occasional habit to repeat buffer sections it already inserted into the generation making it sound like the needle of the recordplayer is bumped back one line. I suspect the wav renderer could have a closer look in how the buffer arrays are processed, perhaps array slots that should have been filled with new content actually wasn't causing old data being copied and pasted to the final wave file again.

I hate this bug with the sudden beat jumps. It's been around since version 3.5. The song starts off well, and you think, "Yeah, that's it." And then Suno makes random beat jumps, and that can ruin the whole song. This happens most often with cover songs. I've had four songs in a row where this happened. I don't know if reporting bugs here even helps, or if Stuff even reads them.

I've edited three examples here. I didn't edit the random jumps; they come directly from Suno. I also left pauses between the three snippets so you know when one starts and the other ends.

My point is, just like with the stems I reported above, you're wasting credits unnecessarily.

Playlists are badly broken. Leaking a ton of memory, you have to hit '- Remove from Playlist' 2-4 times to get it to work, and generally runs at a terrible crawl.

Often I can't get track removal to work at all without hard reloading the page. Editing the title of a track doesn't populate in the main column without resetting the page.

This is a mess. Should be the simplest part of the platform, as it doesn't rest on anything AI, but is just a media player.

I want to edit an existing song and add an additional verse and chorus. I find when using Song Editor (Beta) that: (1) I am able to duplicate the chorus, but then after duplicating it, the duplicate pop up menu is no longer available to duplicate the verse even though there is time in the song for it to be added before reaching 8 minutes -update: think I found the issue here, I needed to select the text on the left first which isn't so obvious. (2) If I instead use replace functions to edit an existing verse and replace it with that same verse plus chorus and new verse, then I find that it doesn't use the new wordings in new generations of audio. That seems like a bug too. (3) If I use the legacy editor, it does generate the new music but unexpectedly truncates part of the original song even though it is not reaching 8 minutes. That seems like a bug as well.

When skipping to the next song within a playlist there is a chance that it will play a random song from outside the playlist when "shuffle" is turned on. When on the last track in a playlist and skipping then this also happens. I would generally prefer to just loop the whole playlist (starting again with the first song from a playlist) when the last song finished to play (or a random one from the current playlist when "shuffle" is turned on).

I see there is a "repeat" button, but this just repeats the current song and not the whole playlist. Would be nice if I could swith the mode like this: Repeat 1 = Repeat Current Song; Repeat 2 = Repeat Current Playlist.

Another bug: Clicking the "Inspire" button on a playlist is broken. It just opens the "create" screen, but it doesn't fill in songs for inspiration.

In SUNO studio, when trying to process stems in the left side (drag and drop as input for a new custom remix) then only the first part of if has sound and then the rest is completely muted.
Same thing happens if I select the "original" option on the track itself (even if it is the original stem with NO modification. Result => No sound. When selecting "on beat" the rest of the track magically starts to work.
This makes suno studio completely unusable.
Please fix this critical bug.

Also why am I getting songs of different length when I am remastering a stem? Is it not obvious that the length is the same? Why do I have to adjust song speed all the time? That is a second bug. If I am remastering this 01:56 stem and I am dragging and dropping the resulting remastered stem, I expect it to be the exact same length as the rest of the track

First thing, you can use the simple mode lyrics generator, then copy the lyrics and paste them in in custom mode
But also, if you're using AI to generate lyrics for you, GPT or Gemini or a dozen other AIs can do it better than Suno does, and again you can just copy/paste them into Suno

I found a bug in a beautiful track I was working on in Suno Studio. It’s a click popping sound. I couldn’t isolate it by finding it in its individual track. It came after the stems were split but could also be heard in the original audio. I haven’t done so as yet but I plan on Remastering the original audio to see if it will resolve it. Has anyone else came across or tried to remove noise on tracks in Studio.

Stem separation is currently bad. Doesn't correctly identify or separate instruments. I have particular issues with multiple different stringed instruments but there are probably other cases also
The specific case that I run into a lot is that if a song includes both a violin and an electric guitar, part of both stems will be assigned to FX, part to Synth and part to Guitar. The end result is that I have to stem-split the stems themselves in order to actually separate the instruments, then recombine the fragments in an external DAW to get a stem that I can actually make any use of
The problem is made worse by the fact that Suno stem separation VERY often introduces glitches or artifacts into the stems that weren't present in the original song.
Since your software is able to identify specific instruments when it's prompted to use one, clearly you do have the technical capability to tell the difference between a violin and a guitar. But this capability is apparently forgotten when someone requests stems?

I went to delete my prompt summary a day after v5 launched, and when I tried to backspace to clear the prompt to start fresh it deleted the entire prompt summary bar entirely. Haven't been able to refresh or bring it back since Are my prompts that good? Like does suno just want me to go barebones? Not sure why that happened.

Reporting this as a bug because I assume it must be, because no competent development team would be stupid enough to deliberately make software that does the opposite of what it's told to do...
Style prompts, exclusions, and any prompts or tags in the lyrics are VERY often not only ignored but directly contradicted.
Excluding anything will almost guarantee that that element will be included.
Instructions about what instrument plays which part will be entirely ignored, even in covers of songs where that instrument was already playing that part - if I prompted for heavy rock guitars at the beginning, and a violin to be introduced midway through the song, in 95% of cases Suno will open with the violin, and often without the guitars.
Instructions about vocal style are frequently ignored.
V5 is the worst offender for all of these problems but they all also arise often with models 4.5 and 4.5+. This is interesting because I didn't experience these problems much with those models, until their behaviour was silently changed at the same time that v5 was released in its hilariously broken and obviously untested state
PLEASE will you put less time into pointless and unnecessarily UI changes and more into actually making your product work. The style instruction is pointless if it isn't consistently followed. And from past experience it's very obvious that the AI is technically capable of following the instructions, but inexplicably your designers made the choice to weight god-only-knows-what-other-factors as being more important than the user's direct instructions

I understand that Suno's release 5.0 represents a big next step forward, but I'm finding issues that need attention. Version 5.0 tend to ignore gender prompts and style instructions even more than in 4.5+. Prompts for solo male vocals are often sung by a female voice or an entire chorus. Additionally, lyrics are being mispronounced more frequently than in 4.5+. This is especially true in songs that are longer than 5 minutes, where the entire ending ruins an otherwise good take with totally jumbled or jibberish words. This requires a number of extensions until a decent one is constructed with the original lyrics sung properly. I realize that v5 is a beta release, and appreciate the programming efforts to constantly improve Suno's platform. I hope that some of these issues will be addressed soon. Meanwhile, until they are corrected I've had to go back to using v4.5+ more often than v5.0.

I recommend other places to get AI lyrics, definetly not SUNO. I use chatgpt actually and others like it, if you give it a very specific theme and "experience", it'll write great stuff for you that you can later tweak to give it a personal touch.

The REMI model does way beter than any of the ChatGPT models. I even went on OpenRouter and gave my lyric prompt to all the models on there to test the output. REMI did a much better job.

I am noticing this a lot as well. More often than not, I am having generations that stutter on the first word or two of the first verse, often followed by one or two repeats of the last few words of the chorus, which I did not write in my lyrics for it to do. If I wanted that, I would have written it in. It's like ordering a burger with ketchup, mustard, and pickle, and the "cook" in the back saying, "I bet this guy would like some onions and mayo on that too," without asking me.

Not that it's any consolation, but I will often use "angsty" which creates something that sounds "bratty," especially in female vocals. In male vocals, it tends to sound like a whiny beta male.

And the faster you can generate different options, the better.

Hello! I'm hoping for immediate help 😢 I'm creating a musical interpretation of a poem. It's quite long, so I decided to do it in several parts using the "Extend" tool to create a complete piece. While creating the first part, I noticed that every time, at the same point in the text, the music became distorted and the vocals became incomprehensible – as if in a different language – but I didn't worry about it, thinking, "It can be fixed." Unfortunately, after selecting the first part of the song that I liked and trying to create an extension with further text, the "Extend" tool always comes out broken… At first, the program sang the lyrics randomly, but now it loops the same verse over and over. Even attempts to do this in previous generations have the same result. I've burned through countless credits and flagged dozens of samples. Nothing. The problem persists, and it's not temporary. The first part is only less than 5 minutes long, and I can't extend it. I don't know what to do or how widespread this problem is. I've tried every method, even logging in again, and nothing... Studio also gives the same result when I try to use it. I've never encountered this problem before, and I've often combined songs from three parts. Can anyone help me? The Song Editor allows adding sections mid-song. While adding a section you can also insert custom lyrics to insert with it, right? But after creating the sections it's ignoring the lyrics I give it, it's just duplicating the chorus happening after the section or literally just generates an instrumental.

What do you mean with "unlocking"? What is a "full version" of a song? If there has been a 1min song generated with a free account, you will have now to extend it or cover it with more lyrics to get a longer song. I only tried free mode for a very short time, so may be things have changed. But I did not hear about an "unlock" feature before.

wrong - only Suno himself with his clumsy vocals can ruin everything ( if you're unlucky) but in general, he will leave the voice and music only slightly changing them.

here I have a game coming out - I make remasters and he gives me one track of the correct length and the second stub.

play with these indicators - the 3 slider is responsible for matching the vocals.

1 always set 0% - this is a randomizer. He'll ruin everything for you like that, and you'll puke.

hey @sand depot any idea why when I export songs from studio, they export at half speed? So for example if the song is at 120bpm, it exports at 60bpm. The only work around ive found is to export all the stems, then load it into a DAW and export it as a full song

I'm experiencing this too. It literally never works and flat out refuses to insert any lyrics at all. Trying a Cover yields the same results, it will NOT add any new lyrics. And the other very frustrating thing is Extensions. I keep getting garbage that's 10-20 seconds long when I want at LEAST a minute. This happens to tracks without any lyrical content and tracks with lyrics. I just seem to get stupid Outros

what's weird is that on v5 extensions also seem lover quality than on 4.5/4.5+. They often don't transition well, like it becomes evident where the extension happened in the song, which sucks most of the time. The other issue i've noticed is voice quality drops substantially on extensions. By default it's impressive but after extending it feel like it's v3.5 model. I wonder if setting the bar with v5 initially and extending with 4.5+ would be a good idea, that might be a more stable and cheaper workflow.
