Hi Suno team,
Iā€™m experiencing a serious issue: I can't download my newly generated songs in WAV format. The ā€œPreparing your downloadā€¦ā€ popup freezes and then closes by itself without downloading anything. Iā€™ve tried different browsers, cleared cache, restarted my laptop, even waited hours ā€” but nothing works.

Also, I tried to get help through https://help.suno.ai, but it seems the support site is down or no longer available.

Older tracks still allow WAV download, so it seems to be an issue with new songs only.

Please help ā€” I need the WAV files urgently for my music distribution.

I wanted to report what looks like a bug, using the new editor
i have a long song (7+ minutes) divided into verses. the song is structurally and vocally correct.
however' there's a section where suno ignored the "male vocals" tag and sung it with the female vocals.
this part is a well defined verse, both vocally and musically, 58 seconds long
once in the editor, clicking the title correctly aligns the start and end of the verse, and playing this section starts and ends sentences correctly
the problem is that, despite having such verse that gets correctly selected,
every single replace, out of the 70 i've accumulated so far,
be it with text change of a single word,
or be it with simple style change adding "male vocals",
produces two replacements of the wrong length, adding almost 15 seconds to the new segment,
literally "stealing" 2 sentences from the next verse, and preserving those two sentences in the original verse, de-facto duplicating those seconds, wasting the credits, and ruining the song
the only time I got it to somehow work, was by using the "classic mode with 1 beat context" but of course, doing so, it completely reinvents the segment and it's impossible to make it adapt to the original musical and vocal context
so I think there's a serious bug here, that makes it impossible for me to effectively use the feature for its intended purpose

Featured songs runs off the right side of the screen. Because you remove them from the "Recent" and "Top" songs when they're featured, they essentially get "lost" when this happens. If you're going to allow more than 5 (which I think is a great idea), then you need to provide either a "see more" or left/right buttons to scroll them (prefer the buttons.) Thanks.

using the legacy editor(replace & fade) changes the db level of the .wav download. Original file downloads at -11.8db. Cropped downloads -11.8db. Faded downloads at -15.7db. This audio normalization or whatever is going on to reduce the db level makes no sense. I did not check the new editor because basically that thing just sucks doing just about everything.....

I usually work on my phone with Suno, but it looks like the remix feature is currently broken on mobile.

I'm trying to remix a song, but Suno changes both the lyrics and the style. In the end, I get something completely different from what I intended. Iā€™m not sure since when this issue started, but itā€™s quite frustrating.

The only way to fix it for now is to switch to desktop mode or use a computer.

Hmm actually looking at this again - was this extended from inside the editor?

Extending the second part and then getting the full song on the third may work around this for now.

I made no edit's in the editor, I didn't use it at all. Just the 3 dot's menu on the main page. Selected the time stamp / zone I wanted to add part 2 of the song to and hit 'remix' to generate the clip.

Edit: Extending and making a part 3 worked to get full song. I just extended the '[Outro]' section for another 8 seconds at 2:40 (Whole clip is 2:46) generated clip got part 3 and it created a full song. -- Thank you.

I am a Premium subscriber and using Version 4.5 of Suno AI. I have encountered several issues with vocal generation that I would like to bring to your attention:

Vocal Mismatch: When I generate songs with male vocals, the output sometimes contains female vocals instead. Similarly, when I request female vocals, the AI generates male vocals or even duet vocals, which does not align with the instructions provided.

Vocal Quality: The generated vocals often suffer from issues such as growling, hissing, distortion, robotic tones, and metallic resonance, which significantly affect the quality of the song.

These issues are present in songs generated with simple prompts, custom lyrics, as well as in remix covers and extensions.

Hey team, I wanted to report an ongoing issue with artist name blocks affecting legitimate music terms in Suno.

  1. Skank ā€“ This term, which describes the offbeat guitar rhythm, is fundamental to reggae/ska. Due to an artist tag, it is blocked even though it is necessary for correctly prompting and tagging reggae tracks. This rhythm can't be described in any other way.
  2. Stab and SATB brought up by @thin summit ā€“ These are also blocked. "Stab" is a basic term for quick chord hits that are common in orchestral and electronic music. "SATB" stands for the standard four-part choir voicing (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass). Both are basic musical language that producers use.

These terms are blocked, which severely restricts creativity and forces awkward workarounds. These are common production terms, but I can appreciate the need to protect artist names. Could they be examined and added to the whitelist for prompts and tagging? I appreciate you looking into this; I've had this problem since v4 and as more popular terms are blocked, it's getting harder.

there's a significant degradation issue when combining parts into a full song. (instrumentals fading in and out mainly.) you can replicate this by going to part 2 to a song and then making a full song. repeat this process a few times and it becomes very noticeable (especially with headphones)

[Pro Plan User] {Downloading Songs Issue}
I've been noticing a recent issue when it comes to downloading songs. While downloading it as MP3, it sounds fine when opened. However, the problem is that when downloaded as WAV, the audio has lowered its quality where it sounds quieter and has more static compared to the MP3's audio. It was surprising to see that audio difference, knowing that WAV is supposed to be better in terms of audio quality (since it uses more size space than MP3 where it compresses it). Hello, is it only me or when using the new stem extraction, there's always some artifacts, like little "ticks" inside the stem, it's more audible on the voice, just due to being separated and no other sounds around, but it's present in each steam extracted. i tried it on different songs.. the original doesn't have this artifacts, but once stemmed.. there you go, always there..

The "save as new song" feature still doesn't work reliable. This has been going on for days. For some songs it works, for other it doesn't. It's basically roulette at this point... Spend some credits on a song. Will you be able to do something with this edited version? Who knows! No attempts made by the team to fix it. No communication.

After some experimenting I think it's got something to do with the length of the title. When I pick a song which works, then update the length to its max, and then try again, it doesn't work. Now a simple solution would be to update the length of the title to something smaller, but Suno still sends the long name to the api when rendering the state

Ok I was able to resolve this by copying the cURL in the network tab, pasting it in Postman and editing the title to something shorter in the body. So confirmed that the length of the title was the actual issue.

In the Legacy Editor, when you fix a part anywhere, i selected a small part to fix, and it takes the Verse and Chorus or 2 Verses or whatever you are editing and merges them into one big thing. The editor also doesnt smooth or fix any of the edit cuts. You hear an imperfection and makes you have to replace the section.

I think I figured out the "error" bug on extensions and .WAV files download (and this is just a tested hypothesis) ; I think there are certain extensions and songs that are somehow considered "corrupted" by the system, so that we can't do anything with them.

When I put SATB into the style it blocks it, saying it's a Performer name...SATB refers to Standard 4 part choral writing, Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass. I use it quite often and it's frustrating when it's blocked.

I seem to be unable to download wav exports (extensions disabled). This may be relevant. When I say download, I mean it's just infinitely loading and doesn't seem to generate the wav at all. These messages appear shortly after clicking the wav download button in the song options.

Using the fade out feature severely affects the db level of the resulting download. It seems like any track that uses fade out is downloaded at -15.7db regardless of the db level of the original track.

The other issue is that Suno is getting worse and worse at simply copying the lyrics from an original track to any edit, cover, extension, remaster. This isn't a technical issue, this is just really crappy programming and debugging. I thought copy/paste was a technology the human race had conquered, but apparently Suno programmers are the exception.

Interestingly, I was able to download 7-minute WAVs without issues just days ago ā€“ now anything longer than 4:00 fails every time.

āŒ 4:30 and above ā†’ timeout

I cant repeat it often enough again: 9:16 is a very horrible aspect ratio. Nothing fits on it. The standard for cover imags is 1:1, not 9:16. And it is a much much better format where much more fits

I'm not sure what channel to put this in, but i just learned about the new public-by-default setting, and am in shock. How on earth could anyone ever think this is a good idea? A large percentage of my tracks start with incomplete personally recorded tracks, i have absolutely no intention of ever making those public. If this absurd decision isnt reversed very soon I will be forced to cancel my Suno subscription, in its current state it is no longer usable for the primary purpose its been serving for me.

I thought if you load a track into the (new) editor and immediately press "save as new song" without making any changes, it's supposed to save an exact copy? Yet when I did this today, the new copy basically had a couple of seconds chewed out from the middle of the track (at least that's one piece I've noticed), even as the total duration remained unchanged. I tried this work around twice and the problem I encountered is I can hear some decrease in the audio quality of the new copy track.

I also tried extending towards the end of the song, but there were clicks/ hiccups on most part of the audio after merging the original track and the extension track. Those clicks/ hiccups are not present on the original track.

Remastering changes the sound too much.

What worked for me is downloading the track as an MP3 file and I used Audacity to convert MP3 to WAV.

Hi everyone,
I downloaded the Suno app and purchased the Pro Plan for ā‚¬10. Everything worked fine at first, but then I tried to log in via the web browser and realized I never actually created login credentials.

To troubleshoot, I logged out of the app on my phone to see what the login flow looks likeā€”but now I canā€™t log back in at all. I tried using both Google and Apple ID login options (I used the Apple ID to subscribe), but neither works.

I do know my Suno username, but I donā€™t have any other login info. Iā€™ve already contacted support, but I urgently need access again today.

Has anyone faced this issue before? Is there any way to log in with just the username, or recover access some other way?

the google chrome process drops down, that will tell you what is doing what. my suno tabs do not use gpu at all unless it's a video.

that would be the issue then. sometimes browsers have an issue with gpu processing and inactive tabs. chrome should have something for hardware acceleration or gpu acceleration you may try to toggle on/off. not sure I don't use it anymore.

Until recently, Remaster produced simplified versions of a song, lacking dynamics and even instruments.
Now it produces overcompressed audio that sounds like overamplified too.

Remaster should have some user controlled options so we can actually control what we get, not dependong on rolling the dice or predefined parameters some of developers set to his liking. Remastering heavily depends of kind of music, and needs to be tweaked for each song.

Trying to see all of creator's songs by clicknig "see more" only loads their first 40 tracks; scrolling all the way down does not trigger loading more. You have to switch to the list view (and then back to the tiles view) to be able to load more songs by scrolling down. Super annoying!

Today the Trend section isnā€™t working properly. I'm specifically referring to the Italian section, but I see the English one also has issues. The songs arenā€™t sorted by likes, and there are songs with few likes appearing. Even newly released songs with more likes arenā€™t making it into the Trend.

I had this happen a few days ago. The culprit turned out to be the lyrics, which Suno detected as "copyrighted" (and in my case, my lyrics contained a generic line which just happened to be in some copyrighted song, sheesh). Sometimes there is a popup at the bottom showing this, but most of the time it just disappears, yes.
Yours might be a different issue altogether, but I thought I'd mention this anyway.

The new editor definitely seems to be struggling. I've made about 30 different replacements for the hook of my song today and yesterday, and they are all nearly identical, if not completely identical to the original take. the ai should definitely be paying more attention to the stems of the track being edited much more than the original songs the stems are sourced from! I have also tried changing the prompt, and editing the cues I put in the lyrics. That last step I took seemed to change at least the tone of the synths I'm trying to take out and replace with a saxophone, but it is the exact same melody, and there are essentially no changes being made. I am repeating my tags.

omg help the remove section just doesn't want to obey! like i adjust the timestamps but the audio either doesn't change at all or it skips to like one second later. and no matter what i do, it keeps on skipping those bigger one second chunks of audio and just doesn't want to fit.

Suno, FIX YOUR CREATE BUTTON STEALING CREDITS. Several times now, when hitting "create" with the last 10 credits, nothing is generated, but credits are deducted. I'm using free tier, so I'm sure Suno doesn't care, but I'd be pissed if I was paying for this and it was potentially randomly eating credits you paid for as well. I keep wanting to try premium, but every time I'm tempted to give them money, stuff like this happens. If I had a pool of monthly credits, it would be a lot less noticeable if they randomly get eaten and disappear, than just the daily 50, so why should I pay for that?

Personas tab is not scrollable anymore on mobile view, at least on my Android phone and Chrome browser. Two vertical scrollbars appear when I try to swipe down, it is moving a few pixels only, but not much further. I think it's just getting stuck on the first scrollbar. I guess a "overflow-y: hidden;" is missing in CSS.

I encountered a bug while using Suno yesterday. When I generated a song, the lyrics began repeating themselves in a loop partway through the track. This happened consistently across a few different attempts, even after refreshing the page.

Hey all, just wanted to flag a persistent issue:

Iā€™ve been getting ghosttracks (4:19 and 4:24) even when remixing a previously working 6:11 track.
Testing every 30 min across the weekend and into Monday ā€” still stuck.
Tracks look valid (Remix + Download buttons), but playback cuts off and audio is identical across versions.

The cover function delivers in 80% of the generations songs under 1 minute or around 1 minute (from a 3 minute song). This is not acceptable and should at least return the credits ! I use a lot automatic generated lyrics when I have no time.
And when using this, I want a certain song structure cause the model makes the same old stupid song structure,
So I add something like this in the lyrics prompt, which is limited to only 200 characters. Stupidly.
As would every character cost Suno gold and diamonds!

Format:verse1,verse2,chorus,vers3,bridge,chorus, solo, chorus, outro (see, I have even to avoid spaces and use abbreviations, to save chars !)

The weird thing: the AI model stops before "solo". It does not know what "solo" is? Same with outro.
Why? Is it that stupid?
I thought an AI model is "intelligent" !
Or was it programmed to bother us?

Not only this, but if I add "instrumental intro" or "instrumental solo" to that field, it makes an instrumental song!
It can't distinguish some words !
Why is then the "instrumental" button there for?
Very dumb model !

In the same time, if I add this song structure from above in a full form, in the style field, it ignores it !

My question is: how did Suno manage to programm such a dumb model which is not capable of doing
such primitive tasks, while making good music ????
And how much kilograms of gold cost Suno to extend the style length to 4-500 characters ?

Itā€™s not parsing for nuance like ā€œI want this kind of solo after a dramatic bridge.ā€ Itā€™s scanning for ā€œverse/chorus/etc.ā€ and if the model hasnā€™t been trained to recognize ā€œsoloā€ as a proper song section, it just yeets it out of the timeline like an uninvited guest.
3. Style Field = Not for Structure:
The style fieldā€™s like the DJ at a weddingā€”you can request jazz, or disco, or ā€œ1997 garage emo with soft flute,ā€ but if you try to explain your life story in there, theyā€™re just going to put on ā€œSeptemberā€ by Earth, Wind & Fire and ignore you.

Because generating music and interpreting text prompts like a human are two completely different skill trees. Suno is like a brilliant pianist with bad hearing. It plays like Mozart but listens like someone who thinks ā€œsoloā€ means ā€œplay nothing and vibe.ā€

1. Use synonyms:

Example:

3. Break the Instrumental Curseā„¢:

I've just proved that by making a song with 7 verses! It made only 6 ! And I told it to make all part with only 2 lines of text, so not the char length should be the problem!
It obeyed!

Suno turns the whole structure of the song and merges everything or parts. When you also Extend, it doesnt only Extend, it changes the entire section including the lyrics. It sounded good but the words made no sense.

since we are on weird lyrics, i've noticed on my last song that the more you edit, the more lyrics are messed up and you have to reapply them in the song details. like for some reason after a replacement the lyrics were cut off, only desplaying the middle or the end i don't remember, ut i had to re-enter them correctly before doing more deits. i kinda fear i'll have to do this after each edit i ecide to add to my future songs, cause the lyrics box are super important

I don't understand why the stems separation hasn't been fixed yet after 2-3 days. Has anyone among the technicians noticed this? Since it stops at the ā€œDetected Trunks" procedure without creating the two zip files. Then having to download the stems one by one makes it so time-consuming, like in my case when I want to create many stems so as not to lose all the credits I have left... Very frustrating.

Since a few weeks ago Suno is ignoring [instrumental] commands during rap songs. for the past year since ver 2 my goto prompt for an instrumental or short riff was [instrumental riff], and [instrumenta] always gave some kinf of instrumental break during a song, and 100% of the time it worked perfectly, no matter the style, for 200 songs. but now writing the same prompt in rap songs does nothing. also [instrumental], suno just jumps to the next verse ignoring it. just to give an example the added image shows how the same exact songs and prompt gives much much shorter results when in rap, since the [instrumental] parts that works fine in metal, are all skipped in rap

The other day I pulled the stems out of a song, and got like 6 tracks (out of the max of 12), and it completely ignored the main instrumental track. All I wanted was to remove the drum track, so being able to selectively remove individual tracks would be ideal, but it should also not completely ignore an entire track.

Model v4.5+ is both a step forward and a significant step backward.

  • Problems with style reproduction (e.g., 80s, 70s, retro, etc.)ā€”the sound is too modern, which was not the case in v4.5.
  • Problems with vocal control, for example, I wanted young female vocals, and it worked. Now it doesn't work.
  • Guitar music sounds much better, it's a shame that everything else is worse than in v3.5.
  • Vocals are more elaborate, but they can go haywire in a bad way.
  • Artifacts from v3.5 are back, noise, long-lasting sea effect.
  • Cuts, music/vocals breaking off in random places.
  • Most of the music has lost its wide bandwidth. In v4.5, there was a wide soundstage for many effects, now it sometimes sounds like mono again.
  • Covers go haywire, starting halfway through the intro or instrumental.

In my opinion, v4.5+ should not see the light of day. It is too underdeveloped and is a significant step backwards in quality.

Unfortunately, not everything is so smooth with version 4.5. In terms of music variety and the music itself, there has been real progress compared to version 4.5, and creating covers with music has also become better.
When creating regular covers, the vocals can be really good and emotional, but often they are overplayed.
But how awful you made the vocals in the covers. Really, really bad. You've never had bugs like this before. The worst overacting, as if a very bad actor is overacting on stage. It strays far from the original, sometimes tearing at the soul, sometimes fading away and singing like a dead person, sometimes howling, sometimes a complete emotional decline, and all this in one verse within a few seconds. And the main thing is that no matter how I tried to adjust the adherence to the original, from 20 to 50, it was still bad.
You need to add another parameter for adjustment (Emotions) so that they can be increased or decreased.

So, when I make covers using an old model and upgrade them to cover in v4.5 plus, they often come out with a lot of glitches, background voice distortions, and many strange things happening frequently on my end. I am having an issue trying to do covers in v4.5+ from songs originally made in v4.5. They actually come out awesome, what I get to hear of them. they limit the length of the cover to the length of the original song, and this has cut a significant part of each song off. So if the original v4.5 song was 4:41, each and every v4.5+ cover made will also be 4:41, even though the songs are no where near done.

Annoying new playback bug on mobile:
when I rotate my phone so it changes from portrait to landscape mode, playback stops.
So if I'm holding my phone and happen to move my arm a bit, the song stops.
Also, playback stops but the song is still 'playing', so you can't resume from where it pauses- you have to tap on another song and then back šŸ˜”
I suppose it has something to do with the fact that the editor is different in portrait vs landscape, and that by itself has its own challenges.
But this happens to me so often and is probably an easy bug to fix

So with 4.5+ when I generate stems for a song, the stems always have a stutter/glitch in the beginning of the song. The song will sound fine when played normally so it only shows up in the stem tracks. Honestly it's wasting my credits because every stem generation ends up this way. Anyone else have this issue? When Downloading All in the Stems it always downloads version 1 even if you have Version 2 highlighted. Also when you click "Clear" in the Create screen it needs to clear out the Persona variable, currently when you clear the fields it still looks for a Persona that's not being set.

Hi everyone, I've reported a problem to Suno support, but I haven't received a response yet.
I've started publishing my songs, but when I search for them in the search tool, they don't appear. Some of my friends have also searched for my songs, but they don't appear. I'd like to point out that when I search for my "Elemus" profile, the songs appear and can be listened to. Can anyone in support report this serious bug to the development team?

Can anyone try searching for one of my songs... for example, "Star Trip" or "Solar Excesse" and tell me if they can find them using "Search"?

Today I noticed, that if you are generating stems, that there seems to be a small doubling text-part around second 30.
At first I thought it was a random artifact, but It keeps happening across different titles.

I feel bad reporting this as a bug, because it's more like a feature request directed at improving undesirable outcomes.

The "Remaster" functionality works excellent going from songs created before Remaster became available (3.5 remasters have been great). Anything created with versions 4 and up however, sometimes come out with audible phase issues.

One thing that would be nice is a quick check to see if you're waveforms are already too close to your target curves - and recognize the signal that's closest to the target and retain it - in effect, directly notching down the intensity of the remastering processes (e.g. instead of applying the effect by 70%, it's only applied by %30).

It would be more expensive to implement these checks (but probably only necessary for the latest models that are naturally closer to the target curve) - but it would also result in useable material, because the songs with phase issues aren't really useable "in production" (my silly music videos or whatever)

Btw, this only applies to remastering from 4 to 4 (in cases where I'm just looking for a cleaner sound while retaining everything else) / 4.5, which might just be a silly thing to do in the first place.

This is the first time i'm hearing that it has always been this way, if that is the case then not only am I canceling my subscription, I will be doing chargebacks with my credit card company as well as opening a formal suit against Suno. This is absolutely despicable behavior and the most blatantly obvious violation of privacy and copyright laws I have ever witnessed from a paid web service. At no point in time did I ever give permission for my uploads to be accessible freely online, and no if that is buried somewhere in the TOS it doesnt make it legal.

It's cool that we can generate 8 minute songs now, but the audio quality really deteriorates after 3 minutes and becomes increasingly more 'tinny' - vocals and drums especially. Some consonants, like S and T, become increasingly shrill. I've had several results that started well, but ended up sounding like they were recorded inside a tin can.

I'm also experiencing more songs that cut off before they're finished. Usually around the 4:50 mark. Primarily when doing covers of songs longer than 4:50 mins.

Suno turn my normal lyrics and remixes into tracks way over 4min to up to 5min , my lyrics is not long and v4.5 keep tracks under 4min. Is there a trick in how to keep the lenght under 4min ? can you specified in the style box in new V4.5+ how long the track should be? The stem function is not working properly. The drums or vocals are duplicated and saved as if they are repeated twice. I first thought it was a specific issue with only one track, but Iā€™ve been finding the same problem with other songs as well, and it keeps happening. Please check this issue.

Hi team ā€“ Iā€™m a premium Suno AI subscriber and Iā€™ve been using the newly released v4.5+ model, but Iā€™m quite disappointed with the current song quality. The generated songs often have:

Distorted or robotic vocals

Audio glitches / broken-CD type effects

Growling tones especially on certain prompts

These issues are not isolated ā€“ they occur in standard generations, as well as with remix, cover, and extend features.

Whatā€™s concerning is that these same problems were seen earlier in v4.0, v4.5 , and it seems theyā€™ve carried over into v4.5+. Despite this, new features are being added, while the core song generation engine remains unreliable.

My suggestion is simple:
Please prioritise fixing the core functionality ā€“ i.e., ensure clean, studio-quality vocals and consistent audio rendering ā€“ before focusing on additional features. Adding fancy layers on top of a broken base just leads to more frustration.

Iā€™ve had to spend credits repeatedly just to "try my luck" for a decent generation, which almost always ends in poor quality. This is not a great experience, especially as a paying user.

Interestingly, I tested Riffusion (free version) recently and it consistently produces clear, studio-quality vocals, which makes me wonder: Why is Suno ā€“ a leading AI music platform ā€“ struggling with this most basic expectation?

Frankly, If I had known about Riffusion before subscribing to Suno, I likely would have chosen it instead, given the consistency and quality Iā€™ve seen.

Please take this feedback seriously. As a music creator, I want to rely on Suno for usable, high-quality tracks ā€“ but right now, that's not consistently possible. Hoping you prioritise quality before more expansion.

One concerning pattern Iā€™ve noticed is that whenever a new model version is launched, it performs best on day 1 or 2, but the vocal and audio quality steadily degrades afterward. Hi Suno team, Iā€™m a premium Suno AI subscriber, Iā€™ve been experiencing ongoing issues with the audio player, and it seems to persist across all versions, including the latest V4.5+.

Songs often stop abruptly mid-play and then randomly switch to a different track.

Sometimes the player fails to play the selected song at all.

In other cases, while the song is playing, it suddenly restarts from the beginning, but the progress bar keeps moving forward as if nothing happened.

This inconsistent behaviour makes it frustrating to properly listen to and evaluate generated songs. I hope you can prioritise fixing these core playback issues to ensure a smoother and more reliable experience for users.

This is a big issue I'm having with 4.5+: songs that I generated under 4.0 that would be around 4:00 minutes in length, when I used the same lyrics/styles to try out 4.5+, that song goes to 7+ minutes, and nothing I try gets that song to around the four minute mark. I've tried adding in the style description things like "the song is no longer than four minutes" and someone on Reddit suggested something along the lines of "generate a top-10 hit single pop song" which I guess was supposed to tell Suno to get it under four minutes. It didn't work. The only thing that has helped is to take the 4.0 version and either remaster it under 4.5+ or do a cover of it under 4.5+.

For the life of me I cannot drag and reorder the songs in my playlists, either on my iPad Pro or the MacBook Pro. The MacBook (browser version of Suno) goes bananas and starts reordering it into a worse mess than when I started. So frustrating when youā€™re trying to curate your playlists. Oh and when you do finally get the list closer to what you wanted it doesnā€™t save it and when you hit save it all jumps back to what you had when you started. i don't know which service you use to check if uploaded audio is an existing piece of art but their is issue. I just be blocked in upload process with a **** recording of a 56K modem, some month ago it was some classical piece (a wav export of midi so totally free to any right, just some beep , nothing more).

I understand that it's important to protect copyright, but it's also important i can upload all my own workpiece and recording without issue. It's a a big part of the use i have, using Suno to process some part of my own compo or free from any right music.

Even my national anthem, should i cover it with my fart to be able to upload it ?

Hmm, interesting discovery ! I made some covers of a song who had an unwanted sound.... I made many and I chose 2 with the best sound (high hats and clarity). I was comparing in the DAW the 2 files at different spots
to see which sounds better. To my suprize, it was both, but at different parts of the song!
So the audio quality varied in each song! ! Probably because there are drum drops and the rhythm starts many time. Probably, but it could be the rule.
So to make the best song possible I had to chop and glue 2 parts of one songe and one of the ther one !
Only like this a got a good sound !

When trying to create replacements in Editor, for the 1st generation, it switches to a hyper speed version of the replacement and you have to refresh editor to get a playable replacement generation in place, such a pain. It then works as normal (though rarely adds the new lyrics as requested)

Adding on to the list confirming:
-Covering a song that is originally longer than 4:20-ish seconds with 4.5+ is generating tracks that cut off around the said timeframe.(And this is with weirdness 0, nothing in style and audio set to 100)

  • Generating a stems missing track also ends up causing the same issue. example; taking a stem that's 6-7 mins in length and generating its missing other will generate a track that also cuts off around the same time frame.

The songs today turned out really bad in 4.5+, the bass and loudness is way to high. The peak level went through the roof and almost knocked my neighbor out,
Drawn out words at the end of verses and the annoying drone sound kicks in after less than 2 minutes.

Weird thing when you cover a song on 4.5+, it cuts off before the end. I'm covering a 5:12 song and the result, which is supposed to be longer (I added interludes and breaks), is 4:48 and cuts off before the end.

Not sure if this is the correct place for this:
All the sudden today, every song on the Suno website (mobile Chrome browser) has static in it that wasn't there before. I tried signing out, clearing cookies, clearing Chrome cache, restarted my phone, opened Suno and logged in. Still happening.
It is not happening with music downloaded to my phone or music on other websites in Chrome.
I have no clue what to do to fix it.
Is anyone else having this issue?

It would be great if the ai-generated description of uploaded audio could be edited as before, I recently had an original piece of audio blocked not by the audio content, but by the ai description including the word "capo", as in guitar capo, but it apparently is the name of some band as well... yeah.

@earnest socket @grave robin The static you speak of has been present for me as well since yesterday. I am noticing it in creations of others I am checking out, and I definitely notice it in my own creations from the past 24 hours. Anything made before that sounds as it did when I made it. I tend to chalk this up to the "team" working on the generation model behind the scenes without telling anyone, especially anyone here in the Discord channels. This same sort of "static" or degradation of generations seems to happen between one-two weeks after a new model is released, and it ends up persisting for a while before some more code altering fixes it for a couple weeks. Then it goes back to bad, or sometimes worse.

@earnest socket One thing I will suggest, especially if you are a paying member. Do not keep trying over and over in the same day, especially in a single log-in session. Try a couple, and if you hear it, give up for a while. Close out of yer browser, maybe clear yer cache and history, and come back later. Try again, and if it still does it. Rinse and repeat the next day. I honestly find that the longer you stay in one log-in session, the worse the generations become, especially if you're trying the same one, even with subtle variations.

@earnest socket Some of my best generations are the first few I make in a day, if the static or hiss or whatever doesn't show up. Any further attempts on the same day tend to make less than stellar results.

The new version is really disappointing with the 2 songs that sound exactly the same. In the previous versions, I would hum a tune and sometimes even polar opposite songs would be generated, even with male and female voices alternating. Now everything just sounds the same. I canā€™t even tell the difference anymore. Why generate 2 songs at all then?

I would LOVE to see duets made easier. It took me a month, a mega ton of credits, tons of various edits (including rewiriting some lyrics when it was being particularly stubborn) for a complicated duet I wrote to FINALLY work out in some way (though I am not entirely happy with some quality issues, so will be working on those as soon as I pick it back up. I had to walk away for a while. LOL)

I seem to have lost the ability to add and replace lyrics in a song extension; the "replace lyrics" button is there and works properly when I select only a section to regenerate, but if I hit the arrow at the end to make an extension instead, the button is grayed out, and hovering over it says "select a range of time to replace." There's no other obvious way I can see to put in new lyrics.

@earnest socket I'm almost certain they have programmed that in to capitalize on the human tendency to chase what seems just out of reach. It really feels far too often that you get an "almost" perfect generation but it gets one small hickup...and you can spends 100's of re-generations trying to fix it....and I find it very telling that a whole song can be made for 5 credits, but if I try and FIX 10 seconds of that song it costs 10x more...and somehow the music and vocals don't fit with the rest of the song 90% of the time.

For cover and persona to work they need to refer to the original audio as context. This requires some of the available time to be used for that. In v3.5 and v4 (with 4 minute limit) this would usually limit songs to around 3:15. In v4.5 the max length was increased so there is more time available overall, but songs can still cut off early with cover/persona as you have found.

You may be able to get longer songs from personas at least by editing the persona's clip down to a smaller size (and then make a new persona from it), which should leave more time for new songs made from it. Generally a shorter persona should result in longer songs. Or cut the lyrics in half and use extend to add the remaining lyrics.

@humble cobalt That's true, but it is completely opposite of what they are pushing with "make music" then add lyrics. It's been getting worse as it gets better. I have a 7minute really nice piece with multiple interesting harmony and chord progrssion changes that is basically a door stop at this point šŸ˜¦

I had almost figured out all the nuances of v4 and was getting some good results. Then v4.5 my prompts were making completely different sounding music and vocals. I'm still trying to tweak the words I use and sometimes getting good songs. The v4.5+ is driving me nuts though. Every song is 6 to 8 min with very drawn-out vocals and longer instrumental sections between verses. I'm not using it because I can't get it to stop no matter what I put in the prompt. Some have really fast beats with slow vocals so I can't change the speed otherwise the beat is so fast it doesn't sound right. Ugh... anyway. Thanks šŸ‘šŸ».

I'm trying to get a song be sung by a deep bass voice, and 4.5+ keeps giving me a baritone voice, I tried everything in the Styles prompt, I added [deep voice] metatags, I just don't know why it keeps giving me a soaring voice with vocal acrobatics. Hi everyone. I am reporting an issue that has been happening for over 2 weeks. I thought I would post this because I thought others might be experiencing the same issue.

ā€¢ The song is public and can be played from the direct link.

ā€¢ But it doesnā€™t show up on the public profile or trending/discover, regardless of engagement.

ā€¢ Even songs that get a lot of likes and shares just disappear or donā€™t show up in the list.

I contacted support and got the following response:

ā€œTrends are determined by YouTubeā€™s internal engagement metrics and systems and cannot be made public. We encourage active community interaction.ā€

That is true, but they donā€™t explain why itā€™s not showing up even though itā€™s trending. It feels like there is some kind of systemic visibility filter at work. It seems to affect most of the creators who were trending frequently.

If anyone else is experiencing similar anomalies (shadowban effects, view count tweaks, etc.), it would be helpful if you could share your data here and gather information on how many people are affected.

I was hoping for a reply from support, but this is not really an answer. If support is working on a fix, I'd like to hear an announcement. Even a single word like this will encourage creators to continue trying.

Unsure if this is the proper place to put it, but: the style tag Metal, for what ever reason for v4.5+, struggles SO hard to actually introduce the song. I ended up burning 50 credits on songs that just-- sound like they're starting in the middle. No intro, no opening, nada. Just straight guitar and drums mid-rhythm. It's not every time, but it's about 80% for me.

reporting a bug that was confirmed by another user: suno songs are randomly pausing during playback now. not buffering, just pausing. this happened to me when I was in another tab and listening to suno in the bg.

im using brave browser, other user with same problem was using edge browser.

it also doesn't always happen, it is seemingly random, which may make it difficult to reproduce.

Songs that previously appeared in the rankings are suddenly disappearing without explanation. I'm concerned this situation might significantly reduce creators' motivation, potentially leading to fewer releases and harming the community in the long run.

When I reached out to support, I received a reply from an actual team member (not an automated response), but the message was generic and simply stated that they "value transparency," without providing any concrete details or explanations.

I've now sent a follow-up email explicitly asking them to clarify whether this situation is:

  1. A technical bug.

  2. A shadow-ban (intentional or unintentional restriction).

  3. The ranking system working normally, meaning the songs have naturally lost popularity.

I'm currently awaiting their clear response and will update everyone here if there are any developments.

This has been happening for about two weeks. The national trending isn't working, meaning songs are randomly appearing in the trending, many of which don't have very many likes. Whether this is a bug or a feature is unclear. The positive side would be that it would increase the chances of lesser-known people getting more attention. The negative side is that long-standing members of the community are frustrated. The only way to react is to either publish fewer songs (unless you have enough followers to get the likes for the global trending, which normally works) or to flood Suno with (sometimes necessarily inferior) songs, because then you have a statistical chance of getting into the trending.šŸ™„

Covers just using 4.5 are broken too. I have been trying to cover a song originally 6:34 and each and every cover is exactly 4:46, cutting a huge part of the song off. I mean, if you are going to mess with a beta version, fine, but leave the stable version alone. I NEVER had issues with 4.5 until 4.5+ was offered. I have wasted sooo many credits to this. I get potentially wasting credits to a "beta" version still in testing. You kinda take that chance when you use it. But not errors like this in the stable version.

When I generated a remix of one of my AI songs just for fun. I told it to make it in the style of a piano. However it did for only a second and then when right back to the original audio. Not only that but at the end, the song faded and the AI decided to generate the sounds of hell. (I didnt tell it to.)

sometimes when generating replacements using the classic (Fixed window) mode in the new editor the ai seems to over extend and replace sections of the song it was not asked to replace, here's a before-and-after example

You can see that it repeated the start of the verse 2 for some reason (this happened in the song too, it randomly repeated the start of verse 2 which broke the 4/4 song structure)

and also replaced the [Chorus] marker and removed part of the actual chorus (in the song too)

In the end, the song resulted in a jarring transition between the replacement Verse 2 and the Chorus, seems to happen more when i use a smaller context window, and it does not always happen but its sad that sometimes i will have the perfect generation but it has this problem and i can't use it because i cannot find an easy way to correct lyrics (for example to re-add the missing marker) or to only use a specific part of the replacement

Update: i found out that this appears to be an issue of "Fix alignment" being completely ignored at least by classic mode

surely this has been suggested before but it would be great to have an option to "Assert" lyrics alignment, because it can be quite off sometimes and right now it only appears to be doable when generating replacements?

Something really has to be done about the workspaces. 80% of the time they don't load. Just spend 5 minutes trying to get into a workspace. Usually clearing cache and refreshing helps, but it's just not happening. Getting this message:

"Nothing here . . . yet. Type anything into the textbox on the left to create a song."

Also when trying to select a workplace from the dropdowns, they almost ever load. It's annoying. I consider this feature to be not working at this point, because 80% of the time, I have to find workarounds for it. Please have a look at this. This functionality has been broken for weeks at this point.

I created a long playlist (112 songs), Despite this, the playlist eventually stops following my playlist and instead plays random songs, can you guys stop this from happening? Ver 4.5+ bug: Songs will not end properly, and instead Suno will add on extraneous instrumental of one minute or longer at point where song should end, no matter what tag is added in lyrics [end] or [fade out]. A song that would ordinarily be 3:00 in length if song would end right at [end] extends to over four minutes. A song I created under 4.5 that had a duration of approximately four minutes, using the same lyrics, tags, and style description ballooned to seven+ minutes when generated with 4.5+ and this was due in large part to this extraneous instrumental track at the very end of the song. Why did I join Suno Radio? A song I'd converted to version 4.5+ was playing, and when I mentioned they were reusing user songs, they deleted my comment and removed the song. Isn't there supposed to be some sort of confidentiality with the songs we create? Can they be played on Suno Radio without consent? I hope it was a bug.

I guess I'll post my issue here. forgot the channel existed. I'm using v4.5+ on PC (tried mobile too with same result) and trying to extend a song. Since the start, I have had maybe 4 extends come out properly out of maybe 60-70 extends. Not individual clicks but total number of tracks. It will ignore most of the lyrics and just read the end. For example: I am extending a verse, pre-chorus, chorus and maybe another verse or bridge. It will read the 3rd from the last line on everything or maybe just the chorus. It wont restart anywhere else.
I have tried using different browsers, clearing cache, starting points in the extend, different persona's, no persona's, different or less lyrics, different language, different models like v4, cropping the whole song to make a "new song", covering the song and trying this on mobile web browser using mobile data and not wifi. The mobile worked once. Oh, and I made a new workstation. And yes I restarted my computer and modem because I might as well.

Not sure what else I can do but wait and share my feedback.

So... If I create a playlist of only my own vocals uploads, use that as inspo, then use a track to cover, so 2 stacks so far. Then, add persona, haven't tried saving as persona yet tho. 3 stacks. Now this last part. You can publish your uploaded vocals gens while using the playlist technique. If that made sense. Mentioning just in case.

I am getting a lot of audio popping in playback. I have an amp/dac setup with Sennheiser headphones - all other platforms I listen to music on do not have this issue. If I download the suno song and play it back on software on my PC I don't have the popping issue. Seems like its the suno player - note: I have had the same issue with the new editor since inception.

When you go to the song on the Workspace and select the song, and pick extend right clicking, one of the two songs become corrupted, skipping, even finished. The second sounds fine but its always the first song.

The trendings should be renamed after well-known casinos in the respective countries/language groups, e.g. "Casino Baden-Baden" for the German language, "Casino Monte Carlo" for the French language, etc. šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜… It seems to be having an impact, too, because, for example, there are very few songs in the Portuguese trending. Apparently, fewer songs are being released, at least by the more well-known artists.

I have a suggestion to automatically add more IDv3 tag info into mp3 files when downloading, exactly:

  • add the prompt into the comments

  • add year

  • add url to the original song into the Url field

  • add lyrics (most important)

For now I do it manually after downloading every my song from Suno. It would help if it would be done automatically.

there are no many bugs popping up these days:

  1. even though the ui was set to v4.5+, it started outputting v3.5 (realized it much later)
  2. extending the clips in v4.5/+ keeps producing the same result as the original version of the song and produces no variations -- seems to be only happening when using personas
  3. replacing portions of the song in the new editor produces sounds that are totally mismatching the original song in tempo/volume/sound/vocals
  4. too many artifacts in the background (clicking, popping, noise, hiss, etc.)

When I click ā€œGenerate Videoā€, a message briefly appears saying itā€™s generating, but then it disappears after a few seconds and no video is created.
Iā€™ve tried refreshing and retrying, but the same thing keeps happening.

Since 4.5+ launched 4.5 has had these issues when it didnt before... Covers have been broken, ALWAYS cutting off at 4:46, no matter what, there has been a LOT of weird distortion in the songs. Popping, and skipping, vocal anomalies, and a lot of words sung over each other, regardless of negative prompts. I am a premier subscriber and I have wasted sooo many credits (money) this month just trying to get 4.5 to do what it was doing before they decided to launch 4.5+. I see the same complaints on here over and over, and they have been since it launched, yet still nothing is fixed. If it is unable to be fixed in a timely manner, maybe the versions should be rolled back to when they were working (pre 4.5+) until a fix can be applied to the updates causing the issues.

stems extraction will not show for the individual song after logging back in, tried downloading the stem pack zip file using an edge browser, it got stuck, so switched browsers and went back to the song and its acting like I didn't just pay 50 credits. They show up individually if I unhide them but its showing every possible stem offered, so majority of them are just blank audio

Stop disabling working features or at the very least, start explaining why you are. Inspo is not letting me join it with extend when trying to extend off an upload. There was a known bug that was causing an error when trying to use Inspo + Extend on a track that is NOT an upload. For some reason the past week, Inspo had only worked with Extend when used on an upload. It did not behave like that day 1, but now Inspo is completely disabled. For covers, extends, and personas. What is the meaning of this?

Suno playlists are acting up. When I delete songs from the playlist, the wrong songs get removed, and is then unable to be added again. Actually nevermind, they reappeared in the playlist fourty minutes later.

It happened last night, Japan time. A generated cover song disappearedā€”twice. It seems that when the song length fails to finalize, the track quietly vanishes as if it never existed. (The better the track, the more likely it seems to disappearā€”just my personal bias :-P)
This kind of ā€œcover song with undefined lengthā€ can be played once, but on the second attempt, the cursor just keeps spinning and the track wonā€™t play again. (And then, it disappears.)

They basically said thereā€™s no technical bug on their end that would hide or remove songs from the rankings. The system is always being monitored šŸ‘€ and theyā€™ll keep checking for any issues. According to them, thereā€™s no shadow-banning or manual removal unless something breaks the rules šŸ™…ā€ā™‚ļø

For the drop in ranking/visibility, they said itā€™s probably because the local trend system is always changingā€”depending on recent engagement, listener activity, and whatā€™s trending in your region or genre šŸ“‰ So if your song suddenly disappears, it might just be because of changes in audience behavior or whatā€™s currently popular.

At least compared to before. It's just random whether you get in or not. Here in the German trending now section are some current examples:
Someone with 5 likes and 12 plays gets in, while yesterday I had three times as many likes and plays with a German song in a very short time and didn't get in (again).

The same thing happened to me with other songs in other languages. And also to others I know. šŸ˜«
And all the plays and likes are hard-earned. Something definitely seems to be broken here.šŸ„ŗ

Thanks for the message. Of course, that's not true, because everyone has noticed a change over the last three weeks. For example, a strong French song of mine never made it into the trending lists despite receiving many likes in a short period of time. As a result, I publish less and probably wouldn't publish anything at all if I didn't have loyal followers who listen to my songs that way. My advantage is that I publish songs in several languages, while the new "system" (which is what it is, after all, after the support) makes it very difficult if you only publish in one language. It's relatively difficult to achieve success in the global trending lists with a song that isn't in English, and therefore, the national trending lists are practically the only chance for such songs to gain visibility. Perhaps the only way to convince Suno to rethink their approach would be if many people went on a "publication strike." I would join in.

Yes you are right, see my text below.For me, you can see it in the numbers, too. Before the change, I averaged 300-400 likes. Now it's closer to 200 likes, and I can't say the songs have gotten any worse.

Ultimately, I suspect that it's an attempt by Suno to encourage new users (of which there are quite a lot at the moment, in my opinion) and to keep them on board by getting their songs trending too.

Yes, I agree with you, especially since your songs are very good. This whole thing also leads to a certain fragmentation of communities, since trending and the comment function are an important "meeting point." When I look at the trendings I know (German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, and English), it feels like at most 50% are familiar. The rest are songs, some with only 10 likes, from users I don't know at all.

It's also not true that the trending features work. I did have a song in the English trending list, right at the bottom (even though I had way more likes than most). Then the song suddenly disappeared, with 169 likes. And now it's suddenly in the middle of the charts, still with 169 likes. The only thing I've done in the meantime is create six quickly generated, not particularly high-quality protest songs to test the system. Maybe someone wanted to prevent the nonsense from getting into the trending list and making the system look ridiculous. šŸ™„šŸ„³

Another anecdote: one of my songs hit the English trending list immediately after its release with 10 likes.šŸ˜ I find the whole thing very annoying because I also release songs in other languages, and this problem has pretty much put me off publishing German or French songs, for example. I'm considering whether to release only a few English songs in the hope of getting into the still-functioning global charts, or to do more exotic stuff like Middle High German songs or Welsh songs, which don't trend anyway.šŸ™„

Hello!! I have a problem with the page display in Suno, the sections are disorganized, the left section is at the top, then comes the music library, and the play button is all the way down, making the page very long. Then when I click play on a song from the library, the right section where the song with lyrics used to be has disappeared. Yesterday I created several songs, and one disappeared, luckily I saved it in one of the playlists, but it has disappeared from the library. I use Google Chrome for Suno. In the library, the page numbering is no longer visible. What is happening?

I keep hearing a clip sound in the begining 2-3 seconds of songs when I play them on Suno.

I downloaded a .WAV and listened and the clip sound is gone.

The clipping sound happens reliably and at the same point in the beginning of each song I generate and has done so for the past few days.

Lately in many generations, I have been noticing how vocals don't handle long notes properly. A note will be held starting out decent but then excessive durations will occur, resulting in annoying synthetic auto-tune sound while granulating with deterioration.

Imagine having to hear a lead vocal wailing, "Eeeeeee!!!" for 10+ seconds...

Legacy editor, when creating extension always repeats very short part (about second long) of extended audio making glitch. Extension is not seamless. I created dozen of extensions, even changing extension point but each time, there is glitch.

My issue with Extend (which has been the case since the start) is if I try to extend a 4 minute song, it will just extend it to the same time (So a 4 minute song is STILL a 4 minute song with a different ending). Need an option to say how long to extend it to. I would love to do a 20 minute song for some of the items I create.

I don't care if I have to put in extra credits.
