To address this issue, I’ve tried multiple approaches over these 30 experiments, including:

• Adding simple diacritics (e.g., "بَقِيتُ" instead of "بقيت").
• Using transliteration (e.g., "Baqeet" for "بَقِيتُ").
• Simplifying words (e.g., changing "بقيت" to "معاكوا").
• Breaking down words into syllables (e.g., "بَمْشِي" as "bam-shi").
• Using external tools like ElevenLabs to generate clearer Arabic speech (e.g., "مَعَاكُوا" as "Maʿākū"), but the musical arrangement in Suno wasn’t fully compatible with the generated voice.
• Referencing native pronunciations on Forvo (e.g., "حَالِي" as "ḥāli" in Egyptian Arabic), but Suno still struggled with the letter "ح" (haa).

Despite these efforts, the pronunciation remains unclear, particularly for letters like "ع" and "ح," affecting the authenticity of the Arabic lyrics. While the vocal performance and musical arrangement have significantly improved, this issue persists. I believe enhancing Arabic pronunciation support would greatly benefit users creating Arabic music.

I’d be happy to provide further examples or audio samples from my experiments if needed.

When I try to extend it, there’s no timestamp provided (see red circle), and even if I manually enter the extension timestamp and hit "Create," nothing happens for about 15 seconds—then I get the error:
"A clip got stuck while generating."

It's kinda frustrating because I’d really love to keep working on this track—I don’t want to lose it.

Any idea how I can save it or get it working again?

i do nothing that i dont usually do. I go to the original song, select extend, and with a "normal" extension, you have the slider at the very right hand side (see example)

with the particular one in question, it is however the case that the timestamp disappears and the slider is, as you said, crammed all on the left side

Sorry. I meant to request that you try to re-align the lyrics in the Edit UI first then go back to see if it makes a difference in where it shows the segmenting slider frame. The slider is far left AND the timemark is blank as if reading that the slider is in a far left area outside of the visible time, in other words... the "blank zone" Will trying to re-aligning the lyrics help to adjust the slider back into the zone so its slidable and will show the timemark properly again?

In the Edit UI, we can slide the cursor way over to the left and start playback at "-01:-01" whatever that means, but thought there might be a connection.

The extend tool in the Edit UI does the same? shows a blank box where the timemark should be?

Tried making a full crop copy and see how the cropped-copy acts on extending?

so, back to original... the least you can remove in a song is 4 seconds.... if you slide the slider all the way to right and the left side as far right as possible and still have the "remove" circle-slash icon show... can you afford to remove 4 seconds from your song to see what the remaining crop will do with an extension? of course, if expected, it will just have a "loading error" again.

No, use the Remove tool in Edit UI... or better... maybe can use Replace tool and replace the last 1 to 3 seconds of the end of the song.. either way.. just trying to get an output that will then work with the extend tool without sacrificing much from the original song.

Seems no matter what you do, everything relies on the "starting area" and so everything thinks it doesnt exist.. it cant find the starting point. Other than the play button which plays the song. OK. i'll say leave it to MikeB to see if there something more technical to look inside that can be done.

Can you physically download it and it comes out playable? at least there is that if you have to upload 2 minutes worth. Sorry Im not much help from here.

Hi Team, I have yet again reached out to Suno support regarding the issue with replacements. I will include the email below.

I have been having this issue for over a week now.

Replacements now do not adhere to duration. This has meant I have been unable to work on my music. Many other people are experiencing this issue, I have attached screenshots of what mine looks like as well as the discord where this has been brought up multiple times.

To be more specific I select a 10 second verse for replacement, generate it and what comes out is 2 mins long. Before this I was able to generate 10-20 second replacements. This problem is significant because it means I can no longer change any of the music first generated and have been forced to stop making music.

The community and I have yet to receive any response from Suno regarding the issue. I have reached out via discord, support email, to individual members via discord (Mike B) but have not gotten any reply.

I am using V4 pro on PC, Google Chrome and have tried:

Logging out and back in
Clearing internet history and cache
Changing internet browsers (edge, firefox)
Changing the length of replacement
Ticking and unticking the ‘keep duration’ box
Tried it on different songs both v3.5 and v4
Updating my computer
Full virus software scan

The result is always the SAME, EVERY TIME.

I can certainly respect that you guys have a lot going on and that you probably have many other bugs to fix as the discord seems to be full at the moment. So I'm not sure if this counts as a bug, but it feels like it should be one. When scrolling through the songs on a user's profile (not playlists, but the "Songs" tab) there's often a noticable performance decrease on older machines, and newer ones can still see a spike in CPU usage. This happens on Firefox anyway. Not sure about Chrome.

It has always done that for me. If you tell it to keep the same length it will make it longer. If you tell it you want it to be instrumental, it will try to insert lyrics, even if it has to make them up.

And I am currently having an issue where I try to cover a song and it starts midway through the lyrics instead of the beginning? Not sure what that is about, never seen it happen before.

I'm running into a serious issue when using 'persona' for a new song. It keeps remembering the original song's end time. The one the persona was based on and cuts off my new track at that same length, even if my song is longer.

I want Suno to use the persona vocal without these limitations. Right now, it's basically useless for me because it keeps holding onto info from the original song it was made from.

You're not alone – I'm facing exactly the same issue. The lyrics no longer appear in the generated MP4 videos, and it's been happening for a couple of days on my side too.
I also tried switching browsers, remastering, and even testing on different devices – still no luck.

Let’s hope Suno fixes this quickly because the lyrics display is super important.

I'm reporting a bug regarding the music download functionality. I'm currently unable to download any of the songs I've generated.
Bug Description:

• Issue: When attempting to download a generated track, the download process does not start.
• Browsers Affected: I have tested this on both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, and the issue occurs consistently on both.
• Steps to Reproduce:
  • Go to the generated song in my library.
  • Click the "..." (More Options) button next to the track.
  • Select the "Download" option.
  • Choose "MP3 Audio".
• Expected Result: The MP3 file download should initiate.
• Actual Result: After clicking "MP3 Audio", the interface simply reverts back to the previous screen (the track list or player view), and no file download begins.
• Account Plan: I am using the Free Plan.
• Troubleshooting Attempted: I thought the issue might be related to the number of saved clips, so I tried deleting some older ones. Unfortunately, this did not resolve the download problem.
  Additional Note: I have already posted about this issue in the troubleshooting/help channel seeking assistance and to see if others are experiencing the same problem.

Try to include tags such as "Clean sound" "High sound quality" "Perfect audio mastering" . Play around with quality tags like that.. I had great results yesterday and managed to complete 2 songs.. Its not perfect but quality tags seems to help if anyone else can confirm please..

Im trying to create a persona and it fails with an error. In the dev console it says "Description contains artist name: king. Please try again." I search the text I entered and the only "king" that shows up is walking...btw this error is not displayed anywhere for the user to see.

Hi everyone, I’m having a major issue with Custom Lyrics in Suno (v4, Premium account).

Whenever I try to create a new song using Custom Lyrics, Suno doesn't generate a new one. Instead, it replaces the last song I made — even if I change the title, lyrics, and prompt.

I've already tried:

Using multiple browsers

Clearing cache/cookies

Incognito mode

A brand new account

Changing IP address

Full PC format (!)

Still, I can't create any new songs — it always modifies the previous one.

This has completely stopped my creative process and it didn’t happen before.
Anyone else experiencing this? Is it a known bug?

Does anyone know why SUNO only shows 16 of my Public Playlists, and I can only see 24 of my Created Playlists in my Library, but when I go to add songs to playlists they all show up in the pop up? Whenever I email Suno SUpport it can take 1-2 weeks to get a reply, and then it is just a generic reply with no help. It's almost like they don't care or don't know English very good.

Make sure you are refreshing the screen back in Create. It should then be the top one, with a red dot. Hope that helps.

For those having issues with replace. After burning through 3000 credits I might have found a way around the issue. Here is what I did
Create a persona based off the song you want to do replace
Create brand new song using the persona with all the lyrics including what u wanted to change
Some of the second will be incorrect but now the generate replace works and u can just fix the sections you need.

I know this solution is not optimal but to work around it, if you hover your mouse over the tiny tiny 3 dots at the end then it will tell you all the tags :p

Yea its not the best right now :(. If you really need to copy paste the tags you can also do another work around. To go to "create" on that song and click "Reuse prompt" then when the prompt are reused you can go to the "Styles" box and copy it all. Hopefully Suno will make it much much easier next update

The issue I experienced with Personas not working has been resolved. I emailed support 11 days ago, but they never responded. After checking every day, I noticed the issue was fixed. As a longtime premium subscriber, I suggest that Suno use some of the money they raised to invest in more competent support. Multiple people here this week have invested substantial time and credits to do support's job.

Audio uploads are getting false detected for vocals which is not the case and locking me from publishing. These two songs were generated in suno as instrumentals, edited, and reuploaded into suno (Plus extending), and are being locked without a proper reason. I have spent a lot of credits on these and I would like that I publish them at some point in the future.

These songs are a few months old and were not locked from publishing before.

Good evening! I am experiencing an issue with the "replace section" part of the editor generating audio outside the range I asked for. It doesn't seem to be the same amount each time, I got anywhere from three quarters of a second to 2 seconds more than expected. I downloaded the fragments and used Goldwave to fix it. I can replicate this issue with Chrome and Firefox, but I don't want to burn more credits on this trying to narrow things down more. Replace section menu seems weird today - is the empty box supposed to mean yes keep duration or not keep duration? Was there a checked box that disappeared? Hey Sam! I'm not sure if it has any connection but all songs get worse towards the end and I've had it analyzed and every time the song starts to get worse it's at the same place where Suno fixates on 2-3 genres compared to 8-10 genres used to generate the start of the song. See the picture, all starts start having echoeing, autotune, kind of shimmer and other issues once Suno fixates on a few precise genres. Maybe its not connected but the analyze helps me to learn where I need to start my "Extend" to try get rid of the issues with the ending of all songs.

The work around seems to work for now tho but its a lot more time and the extend generations got like a 25% success rate so it takes many many tries... but eventually i do get there so happy days i suppose. Now Im trying to find prompts to keep the high amount of mixed genres towards the end. seems like the bigger mix of genres hides audio problems when there is only a few genres

That's been a reported bug I believe (I hope) . When working, the box would normally, get a blue check/tick mark. I can NOT see that clicking or unclicking pressntly makes a difference. Waiting for a fix, myself.

BUG: I cannot switch from a video cover art to a static image. The video remains. Using edge or firefox. I choose the image, it doesn't change in the preview. I hit save. It doesn't update the image.

Interestingly, when i first go into the song, I see the image I uploaded but then after about 1 second it switches to the video. It's like they are "Both" loaded, and they are trying to fetch both. The video is winning.

The obvious first guess is to think through if you've also augmented or trashed the outputs the persona's were originally linked to/made from?

If you can find one, make another persona, or just make ANY persona as a test and see first if it shows in your persona list, then trash it and go see if it shows in your Trashed persona bin list.

This looks like a wider issue as more people have the student's plan features removed. If the plan would have been removed I think it would be publicly announced and the features could be available for the current month and the billing stopped. This is a serious issue as days pass and credits may get wasted due to unavailability of use and until now nobody got a clear response as what the problem could be. The staff does not respond to emails (at least in my case) and this kind of problem should be a priority.

Serious issue with billing. I was on the pro plan, I decided it wasn’t enough credits and went back to premier since that’s what I always paid for. 9 days later my account status is reset to basic. I had 8,000+ credits left -_- suno billing support finally gets back and decides to email me back saying they will refund me $15 because I cancelled my account? (Which I did not, I never have in the past). When I never asked for that. I specifically stated “refund the entire amount or reinstate my account”. When all the lyrics get shoved together at second 00:00 you know it's broken, hope they fix it soon but that's how you know cropping will temporarily help you

what I do and it usually works is give detalied structure elements, if you put [Intro] [Verse 1] [Chorus] and so on it works most of the time, also if you want a specific part that has more impact or longer notes I usually use things like hold scream layered voice. Also the spacing in lyrics works if you want to delimitate some words

BUG: In case it's not obvious, the system needs a "Single Source Of Truth" for likes. The likes inside a song don't sync with the list of songs. This is a clear indication that "copies" are being made, or cached results are not being handled properly. If I like a song, it should NEVER show that I haven't. When it does, I click it again effectively (and un-intentionally) un-liking it. The current setup is not best practices for programming.

'mufflled' is the word i was thinking 😄 i think it is the increased dynamic range it has. my 'old fashioned' tracks sound even more old-fashioned now, but the newer generated ones sound better and crisper too. I am not 100% (still testing) but I think it has to do with the previous prompts/style tags being recognised more accurately now (ie- in the past had to use about 8 different metatags and tricks to get it to reproduce that muffled sound on purpose) I am noticing different results whether I 'reuse prompt', cover or remaster, on an old track and whether the track originally came from a v3.5 gen, and whether I use the new 'magic wand' style prompt. Is this happening to you on new gens also?

the vocals sound amazing now too, which is unfortunate for the tracks I didn't want sung/largely monotone/robot voice - hopefully it means that it listens to the prompt more accurately now when I exclude dynamic vocals/singing or explicitly ask for robot voice which from what I understood from the change notes is what is meant to happen now (untested yet)

Also, I tried to remaster a 'muffled' v4.5 back to -> 4.0 (crisp) and sadly, it retained all the good 4.5 stuff, but also retained the muffle 🙂 Will have to play with it some more.

The Editor still has a 200 character limit for "Styles", so if you try to edit a song that has a v4.5 extended description, you most likely can't edit it at all without clearing it completely. (My song had 274 characters from the auto expansion, but the editor complained that I had to reduce it to 200 characters or less.)

Using Desktop Mode or accessing the desktop context menu (long hold down on an entry in the library) works fine so it appears that the issue is just with the mobile context menu and only when the song is published.

3. How I Edit My Suno Song
   • I export the Suno vocals and beat separately if possible.

Symptom (from other users): after a full generated output, it locks up (progress spin or don't play) or just completely glitch or disappear when clicking play or after listening once or twice.

Symptom from me: Fill lyrics with near 3000 lyrics ( more tags than lyrics, if thats significant) and run gen. No issues. But any try for extension with added lyrics or from end of timestamp results in silent 2-3 second outputs. Tested 3 times additional. Often extension would have an audible, but these all are silent and can not be additionally extended from without more 2-3 outputs.

I usually do that at the end of the month when I have 5000 remaining credits and I only have two days left before it renews back to 10,000 I generate hundreds of beats or test the V4 and now V4.5 for any usable persona made remastered. I can report that I might’ve gotten two out of 6000 generated clips that don’t adhere to the consistency of what I would consider the most important piece of a song, the vocals to be consistent all the way through the song generating. It seems to want to change vocal tones halfway through every single generation so if you need to burn your credit credits because they’re going to waste anyways, why I tried clicking the button 1000 times.

As you guys figured out, it is only with public songs in mobile view mode. Unpublizing the song shows the shows the mobile context menu, indicating there is something incorrectly programmed when it is just public (e.g. typo/incomplete code with the 'Unpublish' menu entry? 🤔)

Alternatively, if you hold down on the song in the library, it will pull up the desktop context menu which works fine when the song is published (or, as you guys discovered, going into Desktop mode)

The only time I've ever had generations "vanish," is when I change the filter to turn off "Hide Disliked" while the generation wheel is spinning. I can usually find the generations in my library, but they seem to belong to no workspace. I can select them and change the workspace to the one where I am currently working.

This is probably not what you are experiencing, but that is the only way I seem to have "lost" a generation or two.

Does this happen after you select a replacement? They aren't smooth when you listen to the preview, but it generally fixes them when you select one.

Minor/cosmetic: If you visit a song's page while it is generating it will continue to display a spinning circle instead of the length, even after the song has finished generating.

If you play the song from the workspace whilst it's generating, the length updates upon completion but attempting to change the playback position will reset it to the start of the song.

And v4.5 is worse at pronouncing. It often repeats syllables between words.

The symptom I've seen is that the page exists, but nothing plays and sometimes the artwork is missing.

From what you describe it sounds like you're playing them from the workspace list and one of them disappears whilst you're listening to another. Does it happen to ones you haven't listened to yet? The only way I found to get this smoother is by remastering, but in that case it changes other parts of the song which I don't like since I did the original exactly the way I like it, but with minor parts to be corrected where replace section is perfect to use.

4.5 is having difficulty with pronunciation. I have a song that has words, even if spelled phonetically. I am experiencing it pronouncing "crew", "soused", and "carnivorous". Many times it omits the "r" in crew and spits out "cew or coo". I have tried "krew" and "kroo" with not much success. "soused" almost always comes out as "soose" no matter if I put "soussed", "sowsd", or "sowst". I won't even elaborate on "carnivorous". It would be great if we could edit individual words and/or train suno on how to prounce the words that we are having trouble with.

I came to this page because I’m having issues with personas. I created several personas before V4.5, and now when I try to use them with V4, I get an error. They still work on V4.5, but I really don’t like how it sounds. About the *_clip_id. I had the same problems. My solution was:

• logout from suno
• Using Shift-F9 (Opening Web-Storage on Firefox)
• Removing everything suno related (Cookied, Local Storage etc.)
  After re-login to suno i could re-use covers.

For the Dull 4.5, (like a Pillow between my ears and the speaker) Quality... Sometimes Remastering with V4. retains the wohle song but removes the dullness...

I've got issues with the smart prompt generator, if I open up suno on desktop mode (www) and then create a track using the smart prompt to replace my version, if I then open the app and then try to reuse the prompt, it then replaces the smart one with mine again. Volume control bug in Mobile: I just realized an annoying mobile browser bug. For months I thought Suno on purpose lowered the mobile browser playback volume to nudge me to use the app... The volume was just too low on my browser, and there was no way to control it.

Today I realized what happened.

In landscape mode, there is a volume controller and I must have lowered it at some point. So I wanted to increase it, and solve my problem that has been annoying me for months.
But it looks like the volume control on landscape mode in Mobile auto closes - when I tap it, it shows up for a split second then automatically closes. Maybe to prevent users changing the volume using it in the first place because it's not accessible in portrait mode?
But then there's no way to fix user error if I set the volume to low. I had to do some finger acrobatics to try and hold the controller open while dragging the volume up with another finger before it closes. After multiple tries I won gold in the finger Olympics and finally got it to full volume again. But there's probably a better way to prevent this pain for other users who run into it.

Got a new problem just now: When extending a V4.5 song the resulting extensions are V3.5 instead of V4.5. Tried a few times, always got V3.5. Last time I used extend, like 12 hours ago, this did not happen.

Hi, I'm experiencing a problem with Suno that seems to be a bug. For the second time now, after creating a new song, the result ends up being a strange remix of the previously generated song, including its melody. It's a very odd situation because I'm not touching the old track at all—I'm simply creating a new one. The only link between them is that I'm using the same persona. Suno is taking the chorus from a previous song and mixing it into a new one, even though I'm creating a completely new track.

The sound may be quite good, and that's true, but the vocals are a disaster. Way too exaggerated, to theatrical, too artistic, sometimes just gibberish and it only seems to follow prompts half when it comes to vocals. Anyone else having issues with this model? Mmm… I’ve been trying v4.5 lately and found that it generates results that are too similar to the original song when I select a persona. In v4, it used to generate different songs within the same genre, but now it just creates variations of the same song.
It feels more like a “cover” now. If you want to keep the current behavior as a “cover” function, I think there should still be two separate modes: one for generating variations of the same song, and another for generating entirely different songs in the same genre.

Also, I feel like there are more songs that lean toward an easy kind of pop sound in v4.5.
Some people may like that kind of thing, though.

wow i am having some serious problems with 4.5: 1. personas are practically useless because it just tries to remake the original song the persona was based on almost every time. massive and annoying waste of credits. (v4 was doing this as well quite often but in 4.5 the problem got much worse.) 2. extensions have gotten much shorter than before. I just generated 2 extensions that were only 45 seconds long. I asked for an extended instrumental in the meta tags and even gave specific instructions but suno just ended the song quickly. 3. when i generate from a persona with 3.5 then remaster in 4.5, the resulting song shows it was made with 4.5, but if i extend it or make a cover of it, the resulting tracks say they were made in 3.5 rather than 4.5. What the heck is going on? It seems like personas, covers, and extensions are all broken in 4.5.

I keep running into an issue where I select the 3 vertical dots to edit a song and cannot see the top options of the menu. When I try to scroll up to see the options for Song Editor and Create it cuts off. Yes, I've tried adjusting both scroll bars. This has only started happening since you updated the UI.

Also adding/editing cover images is much worse since the UI update. You used to be able to see exactly what parts of your cover art would be displayed before you saved it. Now, it's a guessing game.

1. When trying to permanently delete songs from the "Trash", I get two types of error messages:

--> "Clip could not be deleted."

--> "Clip could not be deleted. Please delete any associated Personas."

2. All my created Personas are also in the Trash, but there's no option to permanently delete them, which might be related to the issue above.

3. It would be helpful if, after refreshing the page, the player modal disappears and only shows up when a song is actively playing.

[BUG] The returning of credits for micro-generations, and for use of Replace Section, seems to be undependable.

Where I wasn't watching it very seriously earlier, since I ran out of monthly credits, I notice that Replace Section drove it to zero, and that it didn't come back.

The -50 or -60, whatever Replace Section itself normally does, is ridiculous, and I'm pretty sure that I must've lost a decent number of credits this month from using it... Since my credits just seemed to be vanishing for no reason.

I see, some suggestions on how to improve your prompt:

• 4.5 can take more complex statements so you do not need to give it like how you would normally define it in earlier genres. Example of what you can provide: "A rock song with minimal and simplistic instruments, normal male vocals"
• Put the genre first so it has the most weight considered

I've found that 4.5 can get confused. I fixed by trying to spell out any words that are similar, phonetically. You might also try putting in [Section 1] [Section2] etc as well as any verses to help it avoid confusion. just another user

Try this: change lyrics in song you want to replace part before entering Edit. Then go to Edit select in audio part you want changed and generate repalcement.

A current workaround is using the desktop context menu by Holding down on the song entry for a few seconds.
It will open where you had pressed, though only for entries in your Workspace or Library (like in the picture here #📚┃suno-school message)

Alternatively, try using another browser in case it is browser-specific issue. I had no trouble opening it in Opera on Android in mobile mode
