BUG: When you create a song from a persona that was made before workspaces were introduced, the new songs it makes don't go into the workspace you choose on the create screen. They go to your "workspace" workspace. They start off where you tell it to go but then once the song is ready to be listened to they vanish and go to the default workspace. Happens consistently and is repeatable easily.

Suno is becoming less and less reliable. I've gone through a few hundred credits and it is not using the lyrics I provide or following the instructions. I am so frustrated with it right now because it has just wasted these credits.

Which model are you using? I've found more problems with the 4.0 model in this respect. The 3.5 does a better job an then after you get the song you remaster to 4.0 at the very end.

You should have an extend option that will allow you to make the song longer. I haven't had the bes tof luck with extend lately though. It seems to ignore where you tell it to extend from and uses lyrics from other parts of the song. Maybe you will have better luck.

if i didnt know better I'd say Suno has some kind of registered lyrics db which is now blocking any lyrics that match known db lyrics.....

On a BUG side note, if you get a song blocked for lyrics dont meet content guidelines, it appears that you get charged the credits, the credit counter does not show that charge, you will get messages you have no credits when you do, and then several hours later it will realized it refunded the credits and you can use them again.

i found a fix, if you click the create tab (underneath the home tab, above the library tab on the left side) that will refresh it to where it will reload without disrupting any of your prompts and it will load the new generations. but yeah it's quite frustrating to have to do that everytime to generate a song. I wish the team would be quicker to update us when little errors like this happen

I am experiencing the website not updating ever after hitting create on instrumental mode and using an audio file(cover song feature), not sure if this is an isolated incedent or its site wide. the images of the song never update, nor do the songs. I'm not a team member but I am aware that this can happen for various reasons ranging from VPN usage to wrong captcha answers or incorrect billing details as just a few examples. There are several fake apps that use Suno's service without their permission. When you get this kind of thing in your Suno songs it's likely your account has been incorrectly marked as using a fake app, so the way to clear that is via the form I linked.

Until they fix this, a workaround so you don't have to refresh the entire page is to open up filters and to toggle on/off any filter. E.g. check "Liked" and then uncheck it again, your missing songs will appear at the top.

There are several bugs since a few days ago. When I generate a song, the loading doesn't stop and it keeps thinking that I have to open a new tab to go to the library and see the song that it has generated and in the initial tab it continues loading the song without being able to listen to it. If I click on crop song and replace when I click ok on a replacement track it doesn't work either. Because of that I spent a lot of credits because the new generation didn't appear until I opened a new tab in the library and saw that there were 8 tracks there. Now something worse is happening to me. I can't even listen to the songs anymore. I changed the browser to see if it was that but the same thing happens, and if I go to youtube or other sites I can hear everything perfectly. Something is happening in suno. I don't know if it's my account or my zone. I'm in Spain.

@small shell hi, when using a mobile device on the web (don't matter if your request a desktop version or not) and we try to use the menu to move a song to a workspace. that pop up. It closes immediately. and this was a problem before when we wanted to add to Playlist or use the bug report submenu. These have been fixed. Making me think that it's just an oversight? and there's a small bug in that menu maybe you can look into that. it looks like you also listen to what I suggested earlier that the video should be automatically regenerated once the lyrics or title is changed. it looks like that happened to me earlier.

Good morning everyone, moderators and support... it's been 8 weeks that I've been asking for assistance for the usual things, nothing has changed, I still have 4 blocked songs, 19 non-deletable and the crop, extend functions that create problems related to the final song that forces you to keep all the intermediate parts. Furthermore, all the songs with credit recovery are blocked and non-deletable, it always says that they are linked to a ''personas'' even if it is absolutely not true. Finally, the like, follow and fans counter is always late by a good 300 units! But the thing that creates the most problems for me are the comments of people who don't even listen and comment only to spam or to diss the next person, if there was one thing you shouldn't have done it was these comments, they weigh down the server and are useless. 10% comment on the song and 90% use the comment as a tool for disturbance or worse. Since I am a paying Premiere customer I do not allow comments from those who are free or simply create an account to denigrate others. Take action thanks.

I used to see this on the free account when I tried to generate more than one song at the same time. The past couple of days Suno had some issue with refreshing. if you try generating a song, and click the generate button more than once, it may cause this error. In the free accounts, sometimes the song generation is stuck in the system, which can also prevent you generating new ones until it is cleared (the same thing happens for the free accounts in kling, CGDream etc.)

REPLACE TOOL REWRITE Please start again: I love Suno but I am calling this it like it is. This is the worst designed tool I have seen as a Software Engineer. We have thrown out basic tried and true methods of selecting text to reinvent the wheel. This should have never made it out of design phase. Please fix this. The end result is fantastic (When you get there) but getting there is an absolute keyboard throwing nightmare. How was it a good idea to not keep focus in the box with the pink boxes? How was it a good idea to use pink boxes instead of shift click and up and down arrows to select text. I have to use TWO HANDS on my mouse because up and down arrows dont work so i have to hold down the mouse button with my left (using trackball mouse) then i have to use my right hand to opperate the scroll cause text cant be selected because it is OUT OF VIEW>. FOr the love of god please fix this and quickly. I am ready to scream. I have spent over 5K on thsi song cause Ai is not working right and having to use the REPLACE TOOL< REMASTER TOOL< EDITING, EXTENDING all to nurse this along and a good bit in the replace tool over several days and I am at my wits end with it. I am still not done with the song BTW it will probably cost me a full 10K at this rate something is seriously messed up here.

Does this program know what a bassoon is? I've had two songs where I've tried to get a bassoon solo, but it's always a different instrument (most often electric guitar). I've gone through about 150 credits trying for it.

(I've had a similar problem trying to get baritone sax solos -- probably about 100 credits wasted on that.)

REMASTERING TOOL ISSUE: Remastering tool has an issue where it randomly starts changing the pronunciation of words after correctly pronouncing it for almost 5000 Credits. Due to the AI refusing to follow lyrics/song structure no matter how it is rewritten and absolute refusal to follow the melody using techniques that have worked for nearly the entire time I have been on SUno I have had to use Remaster. REplace Edit Extend interchangeably trying to get song to move forward, Normally when you include the melody after the verse it will continue the melody all the way through now it is a slog to get it to continue. Consequently I have had to use remaster numerous times int his process. It has never changed the pronunciation of the a word like it is now. Before it was rare now after multiple generations i cannot get it to pronounce it like it is in the source clip. I dont think it is right a user has to spend thousands of credits on mistakes. Please look into this. I dont know if I can even finish this song now as it wont do the replace right now i cant get it to remaster the crop to extend it and i have yet to get an extend to work properly off of a crop.

REPL:ACE TOOL WORD LIMIT BUG: Please fix this. The word limit is incorrectly applied when it says you have 7500 it is often erroring out when you attempt to replace lyrics under the word count. Please correct this bug and also increase the limit this is making things very difficult especially in light of the other issues with this tool thanks

I’ve also have used different accounts to check, but same issues. I feel alone on this and idk how to fix it. Hello!, I've been having this bug for months now, where it doesn't show more than 2 playlists, I've tried to create others, and I can add songs to the new playlists I create but it doesn't show in my profile:

REPLACEMENT TOOL LYRIC BUG: Replace Tool Ignoring lyrics selected for replacement and the replacing lyrics themselves. On the right panel the selection does not show what is being replaced in the replace tool window. WHen replace generates new lyrics it is ignoring the test in the left replace window and replacing and addign whatever it pleases. The tools are never in syncy except maybe at the very beginning. The Replace selections shoudl refelect what is beign selected int he audio clip not some random song position. Then when the clip is generated it shoudl be adding in the new lyrics in the position selected int he audio clip which shojuld be reflected withing the pink tabs.

IT doesnt matter whether you crop remaster extend whatever coming into the tool later in song devloipment it is just off and there is no way to remedy it. You basically have to burn generations hoping to get lucky. Very very frustrating

i am using the premier package and it is very buggy, the sound is broken, the song structure is terrible and absolutely cannot make any song longer than 2 minutes 59 seconds, i thought it was confused with the old model and sent an email but almost a week has passed and i still have not received any response. really disappointed with the premium user package

Rewrite the "Display Lyrics" first THEN remaster. that realigns the lyrics to the song. Otherwise you're chasing your tail.

Make sure you rhyming scheme is Very different between verse and chorus and bridge. Use v3.5 to generate and then Remaster near the end of your workflow. v4.0 is a bit clicheic and doesn't have as much variety in song structure. However, it has better drum fills. So you get your structure right in v4 and do broad strokes then switch to v4 for polish

I have a bigger problem, it's like a system error because I've never encountered this situation before, there are songs that are stuck with the words fake app or suno.com at the beginning, and the duration has never exceeded 3 minutes. Before when I used the pro version, I never encountered this situation, but when I upgraded to premier, I encountered the error

Chorus is very different from verse. I have generated tons of songs on Suno the vast majority without major issue. What I am experiencing or what sparked it anyhow seems to be a bug that was in Suno a ways back where nothing would generate properly. This got corrected and it seems to be back or its a helluva coincidence. The replace tool is full of bugs. I am half way through a V4 album. and using a Persona of the sound I liked which was V4. I cant change midstream as it will wreck the album.

right now i am mid song as well so there is no way i could change if i wanted to.

It has done it every step of the way this song and it has burned over 5k credits with the nonsense. very frustrating and costly. Songs usually take me 3 days max 99% of the time. Sounds like your account has been flagged. You will need to email them. I keep a chain going with support and give them ideas and feedback abount once a month. They seem to respond faster to Re: emails than new threads. So you can reply to the ticket saying "We got your request" and push forward.

Metal is a hard genre on Suno. Riffusion and Mureka are generally getter there. I don't know why it sounds so clicheic but I've noticed that Suno Metal all sounds the same.

You can't. If you did "kwaito anime metal" and then its subgenere and added "dragon fire" it might help. But like you said you need a specific personal. The other thing that is hard about metal is the song structure is counter intuitive. It often uses repeating rhyme schemes but the delivery rotates.

For some reason there are several instruments in Suno that are weighted TOO hot. Fiddle is one. Didgeridoo is another. Also Balkan Brass of all things.

I usually do similar type stuff as what you have but i dont have the glitch or turntablism. Not familair what glitch is and not familiar with the turntablism term. Usually i will add two or three Record Scratching if it is giving me issues

I also add it in lyrical prompts

but it really doesnt want to mix EDM with Record Scratching without searious coaxing

Glitch is often used to describe a distinct England based EDM subgenre but I've found when mixed with hip-hop it taints things towards more broken beats that make scratching desirable. You can also extend with this style in first position and in lyrical tags and almost always get what you want.

Basically, you should always explore the adjacent subgenres that Suno suggests to ffamiliarize yourself with their tag cloud.

In terms of genres, I can't really remember all of them that didn't work, but one that really stands out in my mind (because I was trying to create an entire album by a "band of robots") was "Thrash Garage Rock". Now, this is to say, not quite "Thrash Metal", but rather, "Thrash Garage Rock" (think, less Slayer/Anthrax, more Motörhead). Unfortunately, I couldn't get that generated, so I had to settle for Thrash Metal, which qualified as "close enough" for me

I’ve noticed that when using the “create extension” or “wrap-up” features in the latest Suno update, the overall track quality is fine until the final segment, which consistently exhibits poor sound quality and noise. Remastering doesn’t resolve the issue—the noise persists in every remastered version. It seems there may be a specific problem affecting the generation logic for these final sections.

Could you please look into this? Fixing the noise in the ending sections would greatly improve the final output and user experience. I’m happy to provide additional details or examples if that would help troubleshoot the issue.

I've lost like 200 credits in trying to understand the new "replace section". It only worked once and all other generations only returned bad lyrics and lower volume segments... also is this noise at the beginning and end of the replaced section that makes them unusable :c

NEW UI feedback (v4):

1. Transitions in replace sections are no longer smooth and are extremely obvious because they sound completely different and the change is immediate
2. Vocals in replace sections don't match the prior voice, there's really an obvious difference
3. When the AI doesn't adhere to input lyrics and adds it's own, they are clunky to update in the new UI
4. When the AI adds it's own (un-instructed) instrumental section or ad-lib vocals, it's impossible to update them (so that it will create a new [instrumental interlude] or [section] in the bottom panel)
5. The edits panel on the far right now only shows the image generated and not the name. It comes up for a moment and then disappears.
6. Possibly, because of point 5, there is no obvious way to rename replacement generations or see what is what (a problem because often it takes 20-30+ replaces to get the Suno AI to adhere to the instructions provided--so I'd label them with a number at the end)
7. I can't like or dislike anymore in the new replace UI

Having said all that, I like where the idea for the update is going, but it still has a long to go and it still wastes a heck of lot of credits. 🩵

REPLACE TOOL BROKEN - Been at it for hours. Cannot edit lyrics get them to save (no write button once aligned) After Aligned You go into replace and select what you want to change then change the lyrics and it does whatever it wants then changes your source lyrics to whatever it feels like. I have tried multiple ways which existed before i cannot get it to generate and save a state of a corrected song.(this is the short version) I have lost changes several times and had to start over. When editing and alignign lyrics you should save the state and generate a new song with the updates so they are codified. Going into Repalce you should be able to repace lyrics and have those lyrics update audibly and the changes you made should stick assumign it is done audibly. It should not oeverwrite waht you want it shoudl generate until it is correct (prefereably immediately but that seems unlikely) Each tool (extend crop fade) should have a write song functionality. Visibly it is a massive improvement but if it doesnt do what the process it is designed for something is seriously wrong.

I think you might find the sections and songs in the Library. The browser seems to lose track of certain back-end events (so it just spins forever). Even the Library screen, you sometimes have to reload.

Suno should refund credits when Replace creates 2 minute versions of 30 second segments. These can't be used.

REPLACE TOOL BUG UPDATE: So I have noticed that when you view the song lyrics in the left panel in the create window, on the song page and in the replace tool, the replace tool is inaccurate and does not show the correct song lyrics. Changes that were made in the final stage that are reflecting in Create/song page are not shown in replace., This sync problem may tie in. even when using autosync it doesnt save it as referenced in original post. I think this may be where the replace tool is getting off. not sure why it is randomly adding whatever it feels like but that is another issue.

Replace Tool Bug: When replace is chosen, instead of the just the section, the whole song gets a "facelift." The first image is the original song, and the second one is the one with 30sec "replace" at the end of the song. Sound quality of the overall song also reduces.

Hello again @Mike B @Gim . Thank you for your prompt response. Something is happening with the "feed" and the "following" section. I follow a lot of people, about 900 people, and about 1,200 follow me. As I indicated before January 10 or so, in that section I had dozens of new songs created every hour (of the people I follow). And now, there are hours when 1 or 2 songs come out. This is seen when listening to each song in order, since it comes by creation date in order.

Additionally, I can see songs from people I follow that appear in the news section, every day, at all hours, and yet they don't appear in the feed (in following section)

This problem happens to many more people in general, as they have commented in the comments of the songs.

Please, I would appreciate it if you would look at it for me. I am quite disappointed and considering leaving the platform, and you will see that I am quite active on it, I love it and I am a Premier subscriber with the annual plan. And yet, I hardly use credits, because I don't even feel like making songs with this.

Hello, as many of you know there is a problem with the "following" section in Suno. It doesn't show, as it did until early January, all the new songs from the people we follow. He shows very few, and there are colleagues who do not show. That makes it hard to know when someone we follow makes a new song.

I reported this error by email and Discord. On Discord they responded to me very briefly the next day and after that, they have not responded to me again.

In email support they responded to me with a generic email within hours and today, 8 days later, they responded to me. But the answer implies that if not all the songs are shown it depends on the algorithm, when it is an error that many people are having. And others, perhaps they don't know.

I invite you to look at the following section. It is below the "new songs" section and when you enter it you will see how many songs there are published by the people you follow. They are ordered by creation time. It probably happens to you like many, it shows almost nothing every hour, when there are many people creating songs.

I have opened this post on discord (in English). If you feel like it / the same thing happens to you / or you want to support it to be resolved, I would appreciate it if you stopped by to comment or whatever. Thank you. ⁠

Thre are some issues with the tool for sure as I and others have documented above but you can get it to write teh new song and the quality is good. There aere issues though and not just one or two. If you are looking for your files they get dumped in the library without notififcation. I think maybe allowing users to use either system for now may be an answer unless they can quickly resolve. I do not want to see a rollback as it does work but its not clear and you have to do some workarounds. I think a lot of this would be solved by using design docs, code reviews and testing or improving their use if they are in place.

Yes Ihave had same issues and more. Edit/align doesnt work and stick. Replace doesnt get the same song lyrcs that show on the song going in. They get updateed in edit but doesnt carry over to replace which shows wrong lyrics then highlights wrong words. Then replaces wrong words and changes lyrucsi with whatever whim it has its a mess. I dont see how this got through testing.

I am experience all kinds of problems on last two songs and I have gotten this to work before and now it just isnt. The only way you are going to make this happen. When I upgrade from a free plan to a paid plan, it doesn't work well. In the case where I provide the lyrics, the songs created by v4 can't sing the full lyrics, only half of the lyrics can be sung. You decreased the edit time from 10 to 3 seconds, you state that now we can manually change words in the lyrics. Very nice. But it doesn't replace the lyrics with what I instruct it: it makes up its own lyrics instead. I'm really tired of being a beta tester that wastes credits on your jumbled updates.

Currently, it is simply impossible to make any changes in a generated song if it's not good for the first time. Extensions and replacements don't work at all.

One more thing. Previously, if you selected a section and pressed Play, the playing stayed within the selected section, and it was convenient because I could hear what part would be changed. Now it just plays, ignoring the selected section. Please revert it to how it was before.

You need to realign the lyrics before you do that. Go to edit -> song details and change display lyrics to be simple propts and remove any weirdness you needed to generate. Make sure you have section tags defined. Then save that. Now go to edit and go to three dots on top left and click match lyrics to audio. Then you can start replacing.

Some simple error checking should be in place to identify what type of account it is and immediately contact the user before action is taken. Under no circumstances should a paids users account be impdeded without notification. the last one was horrible but eventually you could get what you want usually though it could be quite costly. I have never had it this bad where i cannot do anything. Create, Extend, Edit, Replace all of them not working right. Crop works but it dumps your file in library rather than your workspace that is easy to workarond but the rest of it is essential to being productive in Suno

Yeah, I tweaked about five fragments where the pronunciation was not good (for example, 'I on' instead of 'I'm on'), and one fragment where the sound just disappeared for a fraction of a second. So it's really useful that now we can make those tweaks.

I am getting very, very tired of wasting credits on cut off lyrics. A few days ago I was being cut off at 3:24. Yesterday it was 3:18 and today its 3:09. I think Suno should credit me for all those wasted credits - about 1500 so far. Don't give me any "help" suggesting I clear the cache of a browser that clears the cache for me. Getting the same nonsense on both the app on Android, Firefox on Windows 10 and Edge on Windows 11. 2 months straight I've way too many credits.

IT has been doing this a while I have kinda accepted this but it really isnt right to have to keep paying for failed clips. WORKING THEORY: IT seems to me that the AI uses an underlying song map to deal with the lyrics. This appears to enumerate each section. From waht I can see (I cannot see the code so this is a mere theory and observation) each tool EDIT REPLACE CREATE etc does not seem to work with the same map almost like it is build on the fly comng into the tool rather than a preserved approved state of lyrics and sound. From the behavior I hae seen they are clearly out of sync which I believe explains why when you try to extend and repalce things are getting ballsed up. Again I cant see the code if I could I could see how things were working and offer a better or more complete explanation

The absolute worst is that the song was sounding so good! But cut off with just a few words to go. Literally, needed only a few seconds. Had it made it to 3:30 the song could have ended properly. That's what makes it even more irritating.

@dreamy plover Assuming your repalce and exend are working i would back up to the beginning of that verse or chorus and redo it and add an [outro] a couple times to make sure the song ends. if it isnt clean at that point go back to 3.5 and extend to get a few seconds of clarity that will allow you to build the song

Yes, the new extend UI doesn't work (in edit) -- you have to go through Create -> Extend on the old UI for it to work

Often if you extend from the very end of a song it will think that you want it to make an outro

I think there is a point where it can become burdensome. It is a double edged sword you cant turn production into molasses but you ahve to have basic standards for Development in place

What irks me the most about this whole situation HERE is not everyone seems to be affected, or if they are, they're not saying anything, or they've just never joined the Discord. A few of the Sunoers... sure, that's the word, I follow will pop out a song or two every couple of days, and they come out as bangers (sorry, if that terminology is cringe, or that is too - this gen-x-er doesn't keep up with a lot of modern lingo), but hearing these new tunes comes out so well, while most of mine turn up shimmery messes, mispronunciations of basic words, ignoring whether I want "male" or "female" vocals, and as was mentioned, the UI Editing tools not working worth a SH%&, it's a serious kick in the giblets.

Probably because how releases in Silicon Valley work aren't controlled through branches or version control, but through A/B tests and "feature flags" giving each user of a product a slightly different experience, making debugging of prod issues a nightmare

I definitely feel that is how the Suno code/sub situation works. My... style prompts tend to linger and bleed into completely different prompts even days later, almost as though the code has history of what I typically use.

Anyways, for any Suno employees trying to follow this thread, some of the bugs discussed are:

• New edit UI being completely broken for a lot of users (though not in the same way for everyone)
• Extend being completely broken in the new UI
• Some users have "extend" broken in the old UI as well, but not all users (likely a feature flag issue here)
• Less-severe issue is that the history tab doesn't work anymore (https://suno.com/me/history)

Also I think a lot of testers/software engineers have various opinions on better QA techniques that could prevent future bugs in the future

I am dead in the water 100% clip failure rate since Replace Launch. Replace EDIT CREATE All creating non viable clips./ Ignoring what is asked for placing nonsense in ther results rendering my account more or less non functional. I have posted seveeral BUG reports above I am not the only one with this issue

Yeah the new UI is definitely a functional downgrade (even for the parts of it that work) -- for example, I can't stream a generation as it's generating from the new UI. Please give people the option to switch back to the previous UI that worked for them until these bugs can be addressed

I am hoping that would adress this issue but I think it is unlikely in mu case. There seems to have been some change to the AI either than or the mapping the tools are using doesnt seemt o be in sync

Also for some reason, stuff is working better for some users than others (I just tested extend and replace, and both now function for me with at least a basic level), but for other users, Suno is completely broken.

If you look at the Lyrics sections in CREATE->EDIT-SONG SETAILS and EDIT and REPALCE they are not in sync

if they add a write function to fixing the lyrics so it updates as an approved lyrical version it may address the issue

Yesterday it was completely broken for me though, today it's working (though still not well in the new UI) for extend/replace, though extend truncates lyrics I add at the beginning of them, and replace weirdly works better than it used to for me, but for other users like @fickle nest both are completely broken.

I suspect that for certain songs, lyrics alignment doesn't work

and your new algorithms seem to depend on lyrics being aligned, so -- when there's a misalignment all the tools in the edit UI completely fail to work at all

I suspect handling millions of customers and scaling support is a tricky thing to do

Depends on company. Two companies I worked at were smaller(one very small) and one big corp. Custerms went from hundreds to thousands but those customers affected millions

so a screw up was not tolerated at any of them.

Yeah so when your users filed a support ticket, they usually knew what they were talking about (whereas I suspect with Suno they receive a lot of "junk" reports at their support e-mail and have to sift through a lot of junk to find the real bugs like these)
