I can confirm. Being in portrait mobile view or even desktop mode no longer has the greyed link but it brings up the persona entry box which then quickly closes.

Strangely, being in landscape mobile mode works fine. It even stays when I rotate back to portrait after the box appears. Maybe some sort of resolution limit?

I suspect that doing the same in a browser on the PC (well, having the browser window more wide than tall, or displayed as a mobile resolution throigh Inspect Element IIRC) should work as a temporarily measure, but that is a simple conjecture.

the problem is this, I created a good song with very good music, but I need text edits, I make these edits and make a cover to choose the options. the length of the original was 4 minutes, and all covers are 3 minutes 18-19 seconds! The ending of the song with the music playing just disappears! I've already lost a huge bunch of points for nothing!

And it's always like that! when will you fix it? I also had more than 2000 points left before the subscription ended, it's a pity that I lost the points I paid for. it wouldn't be bad if they accumulated, or at least you could use them for a while after the end of the subscription update

and every next cover gets shorter! So I'll resort to a 1-second song! A waste of points

Possible bug? Replace section doesn't work for songs written in Japanese. The Lyrics field is never auto-populated after selecting a section. Works as intended with songs written in English or French. Replace section worked for Japanese songs until maybe 5-7 days ago.

i find the cause : when your lyrics or prompt are wrong(containing offensive words...) uselly there is an alert pop up to explain it, but now for some reason it dont show any message, it turn continuously, so check the prompt or the lyrics for it and it work fine !!

For if SUNO looks into it, or if someone has the same issue.
Make sure no persona is selected, than close the tab down. Not refreshing, seems to fix it and the bot goes back to making normal songs up to 4 minutes.

I have still not found a way to make the AI make Persona songs at 3-4 minutes.

The copyright for the song Silent Night has already expired. The song was first performed in 1818, with music by Franz Xaver Gruber and lyrics by Joseph Mohr. Under German copyright law and international Berne Convention rules, copyright lasts 70 years after the author’s death. Since Mohr passed away in 1848 and Gruber in 1863, more than 70 years have passed, making the song public domain.

This means that Silent Night can now be used, adapted, and published freely without needing to pay licensing fees.

So why does it work without personas?

Suno is best suited for making new music with new lyrics. If you're working with another writer, you must obtain permission for any lyrics or other content you use in your songs.

Clips getting stuck while generating would be a bug. If it keeps happening it might be worth emailing [e-mail] as well as reporting it here.

You could also ask them for confirmation that you can use these lyrics as well, just to be 100% certain.

Just having a look around to see previous discussions about this - audio upload needs to be exclusive rights (though one user asked about public domain melodies and support told them that's ok) but lyrics can be public domain. Found a couple of things from moderators, this is the shortest response I found:

Personas and covers tend to be limited to around 3:20. They're not handled the same way as a v3.5 first part generation (it's new functionality, possibly using a slightly different model.) I recently heard an example where someone had managed to get a 4:00 long generation with one of these features and beyond 3:20 it becomes a mess. I expect covers/personas may become longer when it's possible for them to work well enough beyond the existing limit.

I attempted to generate a song and it threw up an error but I still lost my credits. I'm attempting to make a song version of the public domain poem "Calico Pie" and it always happens with that one, but nothing else seems affected. I tried it a few times yesterday but just noticed the credits not showing up this time.

Update: my issue is seemingly solved, started working again this morning, I got some real real weird bad versions of some songs with like, some other vocals and lyrics completely unrelated to what I put in but it only happened a few times then it seems to be working for now at least, will let you know if the clip stuck nightmare returns.

Details: I created a persona out of an introduction I liked and wanted to re-use. The persona was created from a short clip (6 seconds).
Result: I can make new songs with the persona BUT if I try to extend any of the songs I get a system error. Doesn't seem to matter when I try to extend them.
Additional: I also tried taking a clip and extending it (instead of just extending). That failed too. System error.

hey it seems the "Make same length as selection" toggle doesn't do anything when disabled in replacing sections. it'll sometimes redo the vocals to be longer than the selection but it'll never be longer than 10 seconds so it'll just cut off midway

it seems like having it toggled off makes suno more likely to confuse lyrics and make mistakes in the generated vocals

Well, I was really clumsy because I've been struggling with this for days. If I don’t enter a longer text in the prompt, it really only generates a few seconds, but if there's a decent amount of text—at least two lines—then it generates a normal-length output.

Oh... I think I have seen that happen before. If you're putting lyrics in then yeah that can affect the length. A habit I've got into from the earlier days of testing the early-access version of v3.5 when this happened a lot was to pad the lyrics with dashes/slashes/dots/any symbols if I wanted an instrumental or had no more lyrics, just to force it to do something.

Definitely seems to have been a problem with their AI, since the introduction of Personas, it seems that songs, with and without personas are using V3. Songs I make do not follow the Style of music anywhere near accurately as it used to, and it just doesn't want to make the songs much more than 2 minutes long.
I've given up trying to find a fix cause every work-around I find only works 1-2 times, than they break.

I understand it's all work in progress, but what's annoying is hearing nothing from SUNO and the fact that we'll loose the points that we didn't make music with, yet we're unable to due to this bug.
So we lose points when paying for the next month.

If we could just have some words on if they are working on these bugs.
Edit: To elaborate on the top paragraph. It seems it's stuck on V3 despite the selection is set to V3.5.

Covers and Personas technically cannot be created with a model below v3.5 (they use a dedicated version of v3.5 for these purposes.) If you are getting songs longer than 2 minutes, it will be using v3.5. Do you have an example of a song where it's not following the style well? (in case there's any recommendations others have with regard to the prompts etc. or so that the devs can try to replicate the problem.)

I have the problem that my song gets this error every time. I have tried various things (clearing the cache, logging off and on again) and it still doesn't work. If I create an instrumental, it works or if I only use 4 words in the lyrics. I also tried to customize my lyrics, replaced and rewrote some words, which only helped with one word, but as soon as the rest of the lyrics were there, nothing worked again. I also thought that maybe it was because of explicit lyrics, but firstly I would get a different message and secondly I have already generated countless songs with much worse words. So it makes no sense to me at all. So there must be certain words or characters, perhaps in a special order, that the AI cannot process

I've made at least 15 gennerations to get the perfect song using lyrics I made, and at least half of them do not follow the style one bit, let me link two, I have way more than these unfortunately. The songs I link was made using what was supposed to be v3.5, but as you can also see, they just refuse to be 3-4 minutes long like it's supposed to.

A little side-info, Idk if the update itself caused this bug with not making the song 3-4 minutes long and not follow the style. I just only had the issue when I began experimenting with personas, making a persona and have him cover another song of mine, only to then notice the lenght being cut to 2 minutes.
Then as I went to make new songs without persona, that is when the AI just seem to over half of the time get stuck in V3? Doing the lenght and style issue.

Those examples are fine. The watermark is meant to only appear for unauthorized apps and websites that are using Suno to do their music generation. It's possible the other symptoms you are experiencing are related to this. Unfortunately, a few legitimate users have been impacted by this so where that happens we (myself and the other guides/moderators) are forwarding them on to the team to get things fixed.

Having a problem with the browser on my account. Since last week I can no longer 1) make a song public or change a public song back to private 2) like a song, I press thumbs up and reload and the thumbs up is gone, or unclick a previously liked song 3) can not "Get full song" it does nothing after i click 4) every song i make has the "new" red dot next to it even after I've already listened to it. Not sure where the bug originates, But whenever I am moving a song from one playlist to another, it lags while loading my playlists, and then autoselects the song directly under the one I am trying to move, making me accidentally move an unintended song. May be unique circumstances, but it happens more often than not.

Play counts seem to increment in peculiar ways. Between 0 and 10, all is well: you play the song once, the count increments by one. But then odd counts (11, 13, 15...) are skipped: if you have 10 plays, it stays at 10 even if you play the song again. The next play increments it to 12; then the cycle repeats. And it's pretty darn consistent for any song. How do you even accomplish this, lol

Idk if this is the right place to ask this. When I use the persona feature, any new songs I make regardless of style and lyrics, ends up sounding exactly like whatever song I pick as the style for the persona. It uses the same song including lyrics, even if I change the lyrics.

So I will go to make a completely new song and select a persona I premade. Then I will make new lyrics and a different style prompt but the song that is generated is literally exactly the same as the song I chose for the persona. Same music, same vocals and lyrics. Occasionally a few of the lines in verses will be the new ones towards the end of the song. I can't get it to make a new song that has a similar sound with the same "singer", which is what I thought it was supposed to do.
Hopefully that makes sense.
Maybe it's not working right because it's so new?

For the second day, I’ve been trying to make a cover of a song, and I keep getting this error. I’ve tried various versions of the song, including previously created ones, a full song, a cropped version, and even a 2-minute trimmed WAV file that I downloaded and re-uploaded, but it still won’t make a cover. Today Suno behaves quite oddly. I wanted to redo song. I wanted to keep the saem music jsut change lyrics. As I wanted numerous of changes in lyrics I created Persona and started from there and adjusted lyrics. Before it worked very fine. But today, it totally ignores new lyrics, just repeats same song saved as Persona, changing end slightly. Once I even changed to create instrumental and it added voice anyways. Like it is stuck to Persona settings and ignores the rest.

Maybe there is a trick to force it use changed lyrics?

I’m trying to identify what in my Russian lyrics is preventing SUNO from creating a cover and consistently causing an error when processing a specific part of the text. Here’s what I’ve tried so far to pinpoint the issue:

Finding where the error starts: The error always begins right after the Russian word ‘позади’ (meaning ‘behind’) appears in the text. Simply removing this word doesn’t resolve the issue, so the problem might be triggered by the content that follows.

Testing alternative wording: I experimented with masking potentially sensitive words. For instance, I replaced ‘гробы’ (meaning ‘coffins’) with ‘грибы’ (meaning ‘mushrooms’) and swapped certain letters with Latin characters to avoid direct triggers. Unfortunately, none of these changes resolved the error.

Adjusting text length and phrase combinations: I shortened the text after ‘позади’ (behind) and removed lines in stages to see if the error might be related to length or specific phrases. However, the issue persists even after significant cuts.

I’m doing my best to isolate the root cause before contacting support to provide them with as much information as possible. Has anyone experienced similar issues with Russian lyrics, or are there any additional strategies I might try?

I had the error last month. Also with other hardware and browsers. It only worked perfectly with a second account. Then had to switch to that one, first one is still broken. But that's how I found out: it was only the account, not me. But now I have the advertising error on my second Pro Plan account. It's no fun anymore.

I don't think Russian (or any particular) lyrics is the cause... I had this issue today, in a song that has three variations of the chorus. Removing the third chorus resolved the issue (but trying to extend the song with the third chorus gets things stuck again). It's probably something weird on the backend. Let's hope v4 is better about it!

The Replace Section - It's a cool feature "BUT" if I want remove a lyric error whereby only one word (e.g. How I must want you.. Want You!) "must", it adds it's own thing, it ends up adding an additional "Want you!" which shouldn't be there which I only noticed after confirming the changes.

I ran 4 new song gens.

1. I chose one of my persona's. Did not change the style prompt.
2. in the create window, i clicked "write a song" and let suno write some lyrics.
3. played the 2 generated sing and they were the persona singing the new suno lyrics with the happy bouncy character of the persona.

Then:

1. I chose an old song (k-pop), click "reuse prompt" . So style prompt was in create window and I had suno write new lyrics to appear in my create window. I selected the prompt style list and copied.
2. scrolled down and selected the same happy bouncy persona.
3. that changed my styles , so I highlight the persona styles and pasted back in my old song style prompts.
4. click create and listened. It played the new lyrics, with a hint of the persona, but had Korean accents.

So, I can't yet recreate your issue to have it play, mostly , the persona's origin song.

Pasting in lyrics or typing in lyrics I didn't do. So that was a variable I didn't use. I had suno write them both times.

Well, you can't also record an AM radio and manually tune it yourself. To be honest, not many people have AM radio with manual dial tuners. But, recording off the radio is still an owned broadcast. Maybe suno is quite sensitive to recognizing any sound effect of a frequeny change like that.

But again, if you used ANY effect that you didn't make, it's possible that's it's out there enough that suno recognizes even modified versions.

Well, tuning a radio manually is rather boring today as there are so few stations now. So if you even tried, it would sound terrible.

In the 60s, If you tuned a radio it was a constant flux between both local stations and stations 100 of miles away bouncing off the sky. So it had that constant frequency shifting cool sound. 2nd, the better recordings were of shortwave stations to relly get some whitnoise and pitched noise and then spliced together

Most sound effect since the 60s are spliced to have it sound like a song, to a dj, to an advert rapidly shifting. So that they are not boring. That's how you would make your own as well.

I had exactly this today, within the generated clip first it played 2 minutes of my song and then devolved in to a mess of non words for another 2 minutes, sounded like "someone speaking English but you don't understand English." THEN it just returned to the point at the end of the 10 second replacement as if nothing had happened. it was so funny. I have made a playlist now of all the mistakes and weird stuff suno does. some of them might even be useful to extend off of.

OK UPDATE on this. Basically, kind of user error.. kinda. To overcome this problem you have to "edit song details" and save the song lyrics as anything shorter than 3000 characters (minus what you want to type.) Probably best to just cut out a few verses that you're not going to edit, that might cause other problems with Suno tracking the lyrics correctly but haven't tested that yet. hope this helps!

Question about Personas. I have a persona that I really really love but whenever I try to make a new song of the persona with altered lyrics from the song it came from originally, it doesn't change the lyrics and sings the lyrics from the old song.

Anyone else experience this? Note that it seems to work properly when I hit "surprise me" for lyrics, but I just want it to be able to sing a truncated version of my song without trying to sing the long version (which gets cut off).

There is an interesting bug in where hovering your mouse over the play button and slowly dragging it up will cause the Play Icon to spasm at a high frequency. You can drag it quite high as it fades out. Likely attributed to the slide down animation getting stuck in a loop?

When I try to replace lyrics using the replace section, it doesn’t work well. That should not be the case. The "get whole song" tool is free to use and no credits at any subscription level. It just ties together any origin song and all extensions' parts you've made from that origin output.

That's also the idea of building a song from an upload. One uploads the audio and creates, then extends from that output to create an initial version of the audio upload. To finish, you choose "Get Whole Song".

To help add detail: In doing either way, you say the "get whole song" is 1) grey'ed out and not clickable? Or. 2) it seems visible, but if clicked, there is no generation of a "Full Song"?

I'm having an issue when using personas. I create a persona from Song A, then try to make Song B using said persona. If the lyrics are very similar, with just minor changes, Suno sometimes uses the lyrics from Song A rather than the new lyrics from Song B.

For example:
Song A Lyrics
Could you possibly still love me,
Despite all the scars I bear.
If revulsion fills your eyes,
I’ll be in my worst nightmare.

Song B Lyrics
Could you possibly still love me,
After everything I’ve done.
If revulsion fills your eyes,
I would rather just be gone.

Suno would then use A Lyrics rather than B, if I use the persona I created from A to make B. Not every time, but it's pretty common.

Continuing the search for cases in which this error occurs, it was found that when creating a new song, none of the words in the song's lyrics cause any issues. However, the error appears when using Beta features such as "Cover" or a song with "Persona." In these cases, something in the text or the length of the text triggers the error. Might be a bit of a random suggestion but if you change the model to "v3", then (without generating) change it back to "v3.5" again, does it still happen?

If it does I'd also try it in private/incognito mode to see if there's something in the browser's memory/cache causing some issues.

And if it still doesn't work, I'd suggest e-mailing [e-mail] with details of what you're trying to create etc.

Anyone else notice that the browser doesn’t always report to IOS that media is playing any more recently? My Lock Screen is no longer reporting that anything is playing. This makes it impossible to control tracks via Bluetooth controls as well. If I pause playback and then unpause it it will start playback from my music app and not the website.

In the meantime, 14 days have passed since Suno only produces errors for me (advertisements at the beginning and end, canceled songs that are too short). On Friday my Pro Plan ends with 1700 unused credits. I only received a message from the support that they will inform me when the error is over. Links to the error. I have sent enough, the error is independent of connection and hardware used.
Has support been able to help you or made any suggestions? I feel left alone and am very disappointed.

i don't know if this is a bug, but in the replace section, i can't type .1 or .9 in the timestamps. for example i want to stop my clip at 00:34.9, but it automatically puts me to 00:35.0. same with .1 which just puts me at .2. i assure you that those little skips can make a big difference sometimes

The same problem, also waiting since nearly 2 weeks for an answer. Nearly all my songs are cut off and I get this annoying watermark on the pictures. I had to use all my credits making rubbish songs or trying to fix some of them via extend. But in many cases even extend didn't work and I got new crippled extend pieces. So I even started to go back to V3 which seems to function apart from the watermarks in the pictures. Yesterday I got 2500 new credits and the first 4 songs I tried are crippled again. I can now confirm that it's a user problem, not a song problem.

Hi, you added a recaptcha on the create button, but this should be deactivated once we are identified. Now it's asking me to click images every times I touch the Create button. After a lot of creations, it's getting prety annoying. Usualy a recaptcha is only at login, not inside the app. 😉

There are elements that just don't make sense. Like, when I play a song I created, then hit the three-dot-menu near the track's play/pausee controls, it gives me different options (like "edit") that it doesn't give me if I hit the 3 dot menu elsewhere (like nesr yhe track in the library list).

OK, so I've figured out how the play counts are incremented.

If "x" is the current number of plays, then even though each next play will add 1 in the background, the displayed play count is not going to refresh until it's equal to "x+(x div 10)+1".
Which means that:

• play counts between 1 and 9 will always update with each play;
• play counts between 10 and 19 will only show 10, 12, 14, 16, 18;
• play counts between 20 and 29 will only show 20, 23, 26, 29;
• play counts between 30 and 39 will only show 32 and 36;
• play counts between 40 and 49 will only show 40 and 45;
• play counts between 50 and 59 will only show 50 and 56;
• and so on...

The flaw is that if one uses the extend/crop etc on a song it blocks it out.

Listen l don’t have a problem that something bugs out when doing updates. I actually do understand the complexity of it.

However the lack of communication to the community and your paying customers are so bad.

How hard is it to write

I just upgraded to pro and am finding that most of the pro features are so buggy as to be mostly unusable. I realize most are in "beta," so I'm not complaining. I'm just curious if this is a me thing or the general experience. E.g., 1. when I do a song with a persona, it just creates two new exact copies of the original song the persona was based on. 2. Persona songs keep cutting off. They don't play all the way out. I shouldn't have to extend Every song just to get a full song.

Why aren't they 4 minutes length? The songs which generate for Persona's seem to be generating with 4 minutes in mind, however, they cut off at 3:21 maximum.

Since the downtime, or update maybe, I can barely get my mobile browser to generate anything. Even in desktop view. I click create or extend, it brings me to my recent songs unless on desktop view, and if I click create I get brought back to the creation pop out, and see a spinning wheel loading next to the extend or create word. But never pops anything out. I did try all sorts of this, this started after the downtime. I get generations on my laptop but I use this at work often on my phone. Can't wait for the Android app. Things I've tried: desktop view, different browser, adjusting extend points, clearing cookies, allowing trackers, allowing cookies entirely, removing do not track requests, signing out and back in. I may have missed something but, any help?

Tags are causing issues if the lyrics are different. an example. i have two different sets of lyrics for my chorus tags but suno just uses one set of lyrics for both chorus tags

what is hopefully supposed to be happening is each tag is treated as its own lyric set so having one set of lyrics with one chorus tag and a slightly different set of lyrics on the second chorus tag results in two different choruses in the song

Since November 14, 2024, none of the songs I’ve made and set to public have appeared in the SEARCH results or in the Most Recent section of any genre. To test the system, I decided to unpublish all of my previously public songs, but doing so caused all their accumulated plays and likes to disappear.

For whatever strange reason, Suno doesn't like "spontané" and will hang when rendering a track with that in the lyrics. There may be other words in there that might cause a hang, but that's one of the first ones.

That was it - spontané seems to be the only word that it's hanging on. If you replace or intentionally misspell the word, your generations should work.

'not sure how it's intended to be pronounced, but if it were hanging on the english spelling of spontaneous, I might try something like spontanious

I've encountered something on multiple songs over the last week or so. Any song generated without using "Extend" is absolutely clear but when I use Extend to backtrack on a lyric that's wrong or mispronounced and I want to redo it, the audio quality starts to degrade with each use of Extend. There's a background harmonic or something, like a guitar with a distortion pedal, that creeps more and more into the audio every time Extend is used. Has anyone else noticed this?

I notice this on a fair number of my extensions as well. I find I burn more credits on extensions, trying for clarity, than I do on something new.

BUG: Credit count is not going down per generation, requiring restart of browser or refresh of page to update, which in turn resets all fillable fields, lyrics, prompts, etc... Primary browser is Firefox, but same issue persists in Brave and Chrome.

ReMI is about useless at this point in time. My first prompt, as an English user, produced lyrics in Spanish; when translated via Google Translate, the lyrics were some rambling thing about undulation when it was supposed to be about living in a waking nightmare.

Second attempt, same prompt but specified that lyrics should be in English, and it gave me the English version of the undulation song with a two-line chorus that was just "Ah/Ah."

So, in two attempts to use ReMI, it has utterly ignored everything I've tried to prompt. Bug reported.

Female pop singer personas are the easiest to get a good one. It has to be in the top 1% of all my Suno track vocals, if it is and I love it, I make a persona. The one great rock persona I have sounds very close to Chester Bennington

V4 is amazing. You, the makers of Suno are truly geniuses. Songs are much more crisp. Tremendous increase in creativity in song generations, for example elegantly adding double vocals throughout a song.

However, it also seems as V4 lacks a sense of what actually sounds good, in terms of composition. The majority of the time the songs just seem too creative. Out of around 30 to 40 generated songs there was 1 song that seemed like a fit. With V3.5 the ratio seemed much better.

Would like to know how others are experiencing V4?

Crossing my fingers all major v4 bugs are fixed in v4.5 as well as adding HD 24-bit/96khz wav download options. We'll all be in a much happier mood if that happens. LFG

So it would need to be OFF for Create and Remastering, and on for persona, cover, replace for your theory to be correct
