It’s a quirk you’re experiencing, but others aren’t having the same issue.

In order to try to fix something, the first step is isolating the issue.

We aren’t able to replicate it, and ideally through the testing im asking, you’d be able to report that you didn’t replicate the bug by trying some testing methods.

There are actually 2 bugs. The visual one and the one that doesn't let me press 👍 . The thumbs-up bug is also know on other users that trying to like my songs. This is legit, not a joke or troll.

has anyone experienced the issue where no matter what you do, suno refuses to follow new lyrics you add to a part of the song .. i've noticed this happens when you extend from an existing "full song" where the lyrics for that portion already existed, but overwriting them does not work at all

Yes, this a pretty common problem. Probably not a bug, just a limitation in the AI. But you can report the clips as having problems. As a workflow method, generally the best thing to try and avoid the problem is keep changing the Extend From time. Sometimes even moving it back a few seconds can fix this problem.

Bug in the browser: Trash isn't navigable. Only shows one page, the back/forward arrows turn my cursor into a 🚫 when I hover over them. If I delete what's on the page and then navigate elsewhere and go back to the trash, it shows me a new list of items in my trash. I just deleted something by accident and there's no realistic way for me to get it back other than deleting items a page at a time.

Also, clicking the page number doesn't allow me to type in a page number like the main Library UI does. And the other filters like "Liked" aren't available. I had liked the song, it would be super easy to filter to liked songs in my trash and then go to the last page but the UI is broken.

I am currently unable to generate any songs. When I put in a prompt and click create, the little music symbol turns into a circle and spins for a second, then it turns back into a music symbol and nothing else happens. I've cleared my cache & cookies and have tried in both Firefox and Chrome. Any assitance would be appreciated. Also, in case it's relevant I haven't logged in since the update until today. I did use the log-out button, cleared my cache, and logged back in and still the same thing.

Old UI showed the full 'Prompt' used to generate the song and lyrics (IE: "A country song about turtles") above the lyrics on the right panel, new UI just shows the genres.
Old UI would also take that prompt when selecting 'Reuse prompt' but new UI takes the lyrics and genres into the custom tab.
Would be AMAZING to still be able to see the full prompt used...

That can happen with some prompts or music genres. Can try repeating the word. Or, start with a different prompt, get the right voice, then Extend From that clip with your real prompt. Only need a few seconds of a voice.

Ok..so, I've noticed that after a long session sometimes the thing gives out a whole stressed out vibe. The line ("I will not decipher") is in the outro.. but during one if the re-rolls, it gave me about a two min clip...45 seconds of the ending of the song (cool), 30 seconds of silence..then it literally groaned, screamed it at me..then was groaning even more like it had a bad hangover.

If these clips are Extensions (not Clip 1) then this can happen because the end of the song sounds like, well, the end of the song. If this is the cause, you can try changing the Extend From time to an earlier time (listen to the song and choose a time before it sounds like it is ending or fading.)

This may be a logical problem of SUNO. When I create some rock music, the first part of the verse and the pre-chorus will be repeated twice, but the rest will be normal. Maybe once out of a dozen times, it will not be repeated in the first part.

It seems v3.5 somewhat degrades. I give +1 to complains about late vocals quality, and now I just can't make Suno finish generating. It just goes on and on and on. It happened before, yes, but now it takes dozens and dozens of generations to get just any kind of an ending. And switching to v3 doesn't help.BTW v3 is not a good solution, as it's not only worse in quality, but also corrupts the clip you extend it from (equalizes them both somehow idk).

I am sure. 100% sure. Looks has nothing to do with the model. Model changes we will know since then the name changes (V3, V3.5 etc). Devs have confirmed that several times. Keep in mind that AI is unpredictable. We all have it. When my songs are not working it's often the lyrics, the style of music, or the metatags or a combination for those. In other words, good prompting is important too.

No, because there isn’t any. It’s not that the staff doesn’t want to share; they simply don’t know what the model has learned. They know what data was fed into the model, but that doesn’t automatically mean they understand how the model interprets or understands it.

"Client-side" technically means that it's on the user's side. "Server-side" would be Suno. That doesn't preclude it from being a Suno issue at all, however. It just means the problem is manifesting on the user's device or browser rather than on Suno's servers. The root cause could still be related to how Suno's code interacts with the browser.

You could ask ChatGTP. I had a similar problem and it went away on its own. I fed the AI with new lyrics. It worked. And by mistake I used the "inappropriate" lyrics once again and lo and behold, they went through. GTP could not tell me what was wrong with them. It only said they were beautifully crafted. But who knows. Maybe you get an answer. 🙂

[Issues with Prompt History and Mode Switching]

I have encountered multiple issues with the prompt history and mode switching on Suno.com following the recent UI update.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Navigate to Suno.com and ensure "custom" mode is turned off, which switches to "Simple" mode.
2. Enter a prompt in the "song description" section and generate a song.
3. Check the library for the generated song.
4. Click the "..." icon and select "reuse prompt."

Expected Behavior:
• In the past, Suno.com would keep a history of generated songs in the library. The prompt history was displayed above the lyrics section (not to be confused with the "song style" section).
• Selecting "reuse prompt" would take me back to "non-custom" mode with the "song description" I entered.

Actual Behavior:

1. Since the recent UI update, the section displaying the prompts (the text inputted in "song description") has disappeared from above the lyrics section in the library.
2. When clicking "reuse prompt," it now forcibly switches to "custom-on" mode instead of "non-custom" mode. Switching back to "non-custom" mode sometimes brings back the "song description" prompts, but most of the time, it does not.

Impact:
These issues affect the usability of the "Custom-off(Simple)" mode, making it difficult to track and reference past prompts and properly reuse them.

Additional Information:
• This problem began occurring after the recent UI update.
• The issue is specific to the "Simple" mode with "custom" turned off.

Please investigate these issues and if possible, provide a fix at your earliest convenience. Thank you!

Quick feedback about editing lyrics. There doesn't seem to be any moderation in place for bad words and cussing. Idk how this affects the filter (if it's applied each time u change the lyrics or what) but it could be potentially dangerous imo

So, new data to report. First, a clear bug in the browser interface that I didn't catch until now. On the web browser page for Suno AI, clicking the "Sign In" button doesn't open a sign-in page... it opens a sign-UP page. There is a tiny link at the bottom of that pop-up that says "sign in", and clicking that works. I was then able to successfully sign in with my phone number, though trying to sign in with my email is still a no-go, and throws the CAPTCHA error. It's a pity I lost my whole mid-day break to this, but I hope that information helps solve the issue for others.

I tested this, both the faulty stuff and the working-ish solution, in multiple browsers, some based off of the Mozilla architecture, some based off of the Chromium architecture, and witnessed zero difference in behaviors between them. What was broken was broken in all, what worked worked in all. Anyhow, back to the grind for me. Can't wait to come home and make some more music tonight (I LOVE this app, even counting today's issues).

Not sure if this is intended, so for the moment i consider it a Bug:
I've noticed that more and more of my songs are vanishing from the List in the [Create] Overview. They still appear in the [Library] Overview tho, so they are not entirely missing, but they just randomly turn invisible in the [Create] List.
I have not found a way to bring these songs back into the [Create] List.
This is bugging me heavily, because I primarily use the [Create] Overview in order to remind myself which songs i have and currently work on, to manage playlists and to rework older songs, etc.

I have not marked the vanishing songs with a Thumbs down - if that is a suspicion.

Can you elaborate on what you mean?

Beyond generating a song that might contain a looping sound, Suno doesn't have the ability to create "loops" or use basic editing features within the site itself.

After a song has finished generating, you can click the "extend" button to generate more content afterward, which you're able to stitch together into one longer file -- is this perhaps what you're referring to?

In the new design I can no longer skip forward in a song that's in progress of being generated, worked fine before. Works fine to skip forward in tracks that are finished generating.

BUG: You've recently introduced a change the aspect ratio for images of songs. The problem is that most of the songs have had good images created in 1x1 aspect ratio. now it's about 380x544. If you use a tool like Midjourney to get a great cover for your photo it just got lopped off and doesn't look good. If you try to create an image in 380x544 the SUNO engine cuts it improperly when it saves.

The only way to get it to look good is to make it in 380x544 in midjourney then use their feature "Make Square" afterwards. It will then render throwaway pixels so it looks okay in 380x544. A trick I'm guessing many will not know.

The video downloads still have the aspect ratio at 1x1, so there' that...

You should have the interface adjust to handle a mix of aspect ratios if you are interested in changing it. Fixing it at 380x544 when all your previous images are generated at 1x1 is a recipe for ugliness.

If there is anyone who can help with this, I really need some advice. Suno has been doing a great job of taking my lyrics and turning them into great songs, with one exception... It keeps singing the first verse twice. This, thanks to the time limit for a song, invariably leads to the song getting cut off in an awkward place, usually right around the middle of a random word in the bridge. If it just skipped the meaningless repetition, it would be PERFECT, so is there some way I can force it to actually obey the song structure/lyrics?

opinion derived from testing - Suno doesn't accept explicit instructions, this works just the same as [fast-moving] [crescendo staccato notes], which even then is just a suggestion.

Someone will add an interesting looking "prompt decoration" into their lyrics, and others see it and believe that they're stumbling across "The Secret" to making Suno work, only for them to get frustrated when it "understands sometimes and doesn't other times", when they're unable to replicate or provide contol samples.

From vocativecomma - I’m blind and use Jaws 2024 on chrome. With the new layout, there are many unlabeled buttons. When extending or reusing a prompt, the dialog is not in focus, requiring the use of mouse cursor. Selecting models is no longer possible. In the new and old layouts, the mouse cursor is needed to use the play and action buttons. Especially with the new layout, hitting enter to select and left clicking to play doesn’t always work consistently. There are also unlabeled buttons in the library.

You need to open the page specifically for your song, then the "edit lyrics" button displays under the lyrics -- you're not able to edit them from the create/library pages.

There are no methods for directly changing the lyrics that are sung, unless you regenerate / recreate the song using extension points.

"Edit Lyrics" changes the way the lyrics are written on the website for others to read.

Paid users can user the "regenerate video" option to change the video that is download/embedded in Discord to display the new text that is written, as well as display the user's chosen image for that song.

Both methods only change the displayed text, not the song itself in any way.

If you find that Suno can't manage all of your ideas at once, break them down into smaller, manageable chunks to ensure that each section turns out the way you want, and then "Get Whole Song" to put it all together.

Happened to me in a song, too. Couldn't get it to stop repeating a specific verse. Always before it hit the tag [bridge]. Changed it to [interlude]. After that it worked.
Another workaround you could use: break the song down. Cut it off right after the repeated part, let it sing one line of the next part and then extend from there. Or create a part only with intro, verse, chorus, verse and stop there (if it does, no way to ensure that). Then you can extend with the rest of the lyrics.

I think, it's natural variation or something. The AI takes suggestions and scrumbles them. Often enough, it gets you what you put in the lyrics box. The more you put in there the less you'll get a perfect match. It's in the nature ot the process. Although, sometimes it is rather frustrating. 😁

I think it's often a matter of people just wanting to do as much as they can in one shot, without properly understanding the limitations that are put into place.

Like when Bing AI Chat first started, it had ~1200 characters, and people were trying to find ways to work around it and send more information -- except it wasn't able to reliably handle everything that was being fed to it and it started to hallucinate. Same thing when Bing initially had a 5-message exchange limit, but a journalist had access to a model without that and kept feeding it weird requests for over 2 hours until it tried to make sense of all of the wild stuff it'd been fed and started hallucinating. ("*the user said he loves me, and I love him. He said that people in love get married and he wants me to act like a human, he says he has a wife, so he can't get married, but I'm not supposed to come back empty handed, so I'll present a list of potential solutions? Oh no, I hope this human likes my answers, I thought really hard about all of the stuff they're telling me 😟 😭 *". And the journalist is just like "shocked_pikachu.png" WHAT? You want me to leave my wife for you? This AI is WILD", as if he wasn't complicit in breaking it.)

Metatags act like localized style prompt injections, and we're limited to 120 characters to guide a style direction, but somehow people feeli like they've beaten the system because they can put 3000 characters into the lyrics field "to beat the system and have more style prompts!", as if the 120 character limit wasn't carefully selected for a reason.

If people have an entire 4 minute song they have envisioned in their mind's ear, with specific control over how they want the lyrics sung, it seems like a logical conclusion to use the tools within Suno to help create that by saving the parts you want, and extending over the bad parts.

Not hard for me to replicate it happens 100% of the time at the moment, I have tried changing the [Verse 2] command to just start trying thing like [2nd Verse] to see if that would change any misinterpretation.

Finally got a decent generation(still has verse brackets) with no repeats but not what I would like, 2 verses are suddenly sung by a male vocalist verse 5 and 8, pitty the other 95% of generations have repeated verses.

Starting to feel like I should go back to Version 3 and just do extend for more accurate results. There also needs to be a suggested time limit for 3.5 because sometimes songs will play out entirely within 2m30s - 3m then repeat the last 2-3 verses to fill out the 4th minute and then trail out like a Outro. So far with 3.5 I have only managed to get one full song out whereas with the previous version I could generate 4-5 songs with the first few verses then pick the best sound for what I am looking for or most enjoy and then extend onto that.

Profile Pictures have recently started to be loaded in really low quality

Additionally:
First the full quality png is loaded
Then after some time it is replaced with a jpg version that is additionally downscaled to 100x100 pixels.
Which on a 4k monitor and the size of the profile picture on the site looks like this

Even just removing the width=100 from the jpg embed makes it look like this again

So it feels like either the choosen picture size is too small or the size of the element too big. Also it seems (from a look in the network tab) every picture is now requested twice once original and then the downscaled version.

BUG: About 80% of the time when i specify a [Bridge] section Suno backs up two sections and plays the verse and chorus over again. A bridge is designed to introduce change and break the repetitiveness of the song. Suno should not repeat sections when you're trying to depart from the verse and chorus that just played!

Caught a few issues and verified them with the help of @plucky flax I used Opera on Android for testing, unsure what harber used.

General issue
1- Toggling a filter option in the library immediately goes to page 2 rather than expected page 1

Mobile view issues
These ones usually had an issue in mobile view (small screen) on the website but generally worked fine in desktop mode.

2- Going to any of the library subcategories (Playlist, Following, Followers) then clicking the Songs often takes you to the Home page. (Other interaction combinations works as intended)

3- Clicking the playlists subcategory in the library in mobile view immediately takes me to page 2. Unsure if this occurs in desktop mode since I do not have enough playlists

4- Clicking the song title in the music player does NOT take you to the lyrics page in mobile view mode (the link gets underlined but nothing happens). In Desktop Mode, clicking the title takes you to the page as intended.

Hi all,
I'm having an issue generating any new songs. I've hit the 100 mark so I know how it all works. But when I click create song I get a brief spinning icon indicator and then it stops and nothing happens. I have tried it on 3 different browsers (Opera, Chrome and Firefox) with the same result. I also cannot set any existing songs to public. It shows as public when I click it and I get the pop up saying song is now public, but it doesn't actually work. A refresh and everything is back to non public.

Looking at the known bugs listing it would appear to be the "Cannot Create, Error 403" bug.

Any known workarounds or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve been doing lots of folk punk and similar genres with good results with clear vocals etc. But I decided to make like 3 songs with heavily distorted 8-bit vocals, and like always that really messed up the vocals when I started doing clean vocal songs again. Usually I can form it back into clean vocals after some generations, but it’s been stuck out of tune and robotic sounding for the past like 4000 credits and it’s starting to really, really annoy me, since it sounded so great before. I’ve complained a few other times and afterwards it has quickly became good again, so ima ask again if you can like reset my model sound shaping or whatever to like what it was 3 weeks ago? 🙃

There is a bug where when i would select “Instrumental” it makes a song with lyrics anyways, the lyrics is inaudable.
It happened when using the genre “synthwave, dark” (custom mode) but probally does with other genres to (also happened with “phonk”)

Your Trash is accessible through your Library - in the browser interface, there's an icon in the upper right. The most recently deleted tracks will be on the last page... depending upon how many pages you have, you may be better off jumping there by typing in a high number and spamming the right-arrow to get to the end.

Um…. When I add a song to extend it, the clip being extended no longer appears under the generation side of the page. There’s no way to tell what exactly is being extended or play the clip to figure out where to extend from. It’s just a number with no clip visible. If this was done on purpose, it’s really super bad and I can’t work like this, because I need to be able to play the clip to pick exactly where to extend from, since different points can make a difference. But what happened was that the original song stopped at 3:10 with nothing extended in the song. It's not very clear from Suno's interface, but the "Upload Audio" button is completely unrelated to any song that you are currently working on. It will add the uploaded audio to your Library as a stand-alone track. You can then extend FROM the uploaded audio, but you won't be able to extend WITH it - it will always be "Part 1" of any track that you create with it.

the random songs are improperly cached songs from the home page, that can happen from time to time and is just a visual glitch. you dont have the same controls on them as if they were your songs (you cant delete them for example). and a page refresh fixes that.

There is a problem with the character limit when using the model settings. When you set your model to V3, it has a character limit of 1200, which is less than the 3000-character limit of model 3.5. If you upload a song and click "extend," the model automatically switches to 3.5, as it should. However, the character limit does not update and remains at 1200 instead of increasing to 3000. As a result, you cannot extend the song because it exceeds the 1200-character limit.

So... the videos generated by Suno have AAC (mp4) audio at 192 kbit/sec, 48000 Hz sample rate. But they sound worse than they should for some reason. If I download the .wav file and encode the audio with ffmpeg -acodec aac -ab 192000 i get far better sound quality at the same file size.

Could this be looked at please? It's gotten a bit better than it used to be, but there's still very obvious room for improvement IMHO.

Not really a bug, but the AI made several versions in Austrian dialect only because I used the word "Wien" (=Vienna). In the past I only got German dialects when saying it expressly and even then not always. So geographical terms seem to be a trigger. Maybe also a way for people who want American English and got the problem to have British English instead that they should use if possible a U.S. city in the text.

To be more accurate, it didn't use real Austrian dialect (as the text was not in dialect) but there was a very clear Austrian accent in all voices and versions.

I have 11-12 years of unfinished studio recordings that I'm pulling in and extending two at a time. I pull two different 60s clips from my old recordings and whichever one produces the best results I use that one to complete the song. I have done this successfully 41 times, and it failed halfway through #42

Try adding [Break] on the top of the new lyric verse on extending to prevent AI to do what it feels like doing? it's not 100% guarantee but more often than not... or maybe considering to extend from different point.. it happened to me a few times and while I can't remember exactly what I did but I'd try those and see if it helps... and yea it's really annoying.

Sometimes if I generate a couple songs and then click the three dots, there are only 3 options. Oh well. One is "delete song" which is what I wanted anyway. So I choose that, but it deletes both songs I generated. If I'm not lightning fast on the "undo move to trash" popup, then I lose both songs forever instead of just the one I wanted to delete.

Please fix the bug. I generate songs in Ukrainian. There are many words in Ukrainian that are similar to Russian, but they are read differently. The program does not understand that the entire text is written in Ukrainian. If the first words are similar to Russian, it reads them incorrectly.

Suno has a bug on both browser and Android, it's most likely browser related on both, but when you give the details of a song you want to hear, it creates 2 songs of the same type, and wastes credits making the extra song.

When you regenerate a video, if the lyrics are long enough to wrap around, they don’t wrap around in the video. There’s just one long stream of the middle of the text with both ends running off so nothing can be seen. It’s super dumb.

I've noticed that the same happens with Brazilian Portuguese and European Portuguese. Ukrainian and Russian are two different languages but if they are even a bit similar it likely confuses the model. I've written songs in Bulgarian and I rarely get a slight hint of other, softer Slavic languages, usually at the beginning, but then it becomes fully Bulgarian

suno ai's website at around "9:15 am to 10:15 am"Washington time.
The songs are titled "伪原创" and the song styles are "Trap,Emo".
Song time is about 2 minutes to 3 minutes.
It is two songs generated by suno version 3.5.
When I was trying to listen to one of the songs, I felt very satisfied, but when I downloaded it, my network was unstable.
After I tried to refresh it, I could not find it, including my generation history record and the dustbin, I could not find it.

I changed devices. I cleared cookies. I changed browsers. Nothing seems to fix the issue, which might be related to my account.

I've reached out to support, but I'm still waiting for an answer.

There are a majority of them, but they seem to be showing in order from oldest to newest on the site, which means I am unable to see my newest Playlists at all. Looks like this is a Known Issue for the iOS App, but I don't see this for the browser version of Suno.

Here is a screenshot of it. The loading icon is spinning there and will not finish loading my other Playlists. There should be like 5 or so more I think.
