i left a couple weeks or months after the Chirp prototype was put onto a bot and the Suno folks made it obvious that it was going to be proprietary from then on. felt like they'd used open-source Bark to get attention and then they've... never done anything like that again. it's actually pretty disappointing, especially now that they're "on top" and can afford to do more F/OSS
