Just spend some time improving your prompts and include a banned words list, then try to start editing more of the generated lyrics yourself. That's how my writing has evolved and now I'm able to write entire songs myself. I still use AI a lot but I do a ton of editing, like this one is probably 60/40 Me/Claude

I listen to a song I want the track to sound like, and write my lyrics to that melody so I have an idea how they might fit in a song (even though It won't actually be to that melody). Also, ChatGPT can help give you a starting point for lyrics. Then just make the changes that you want (I almost always end up changing all the lyrics)
