You need to exclude voices/vocals, some of those notes mean "hallucinate" to suno, without excluding vocals in 5.5 it will begin singing, I also tried excluding guitars and forcing Cello in through the style prompt on the original. Particularly ┳┻┳┻

Fair point, but I have written a good amount of songs completely myself, and I would say the amount of editing I do the AI lyrics I generate would qualify at some level as writing lyrics, obviously not the same as doing it all yourself. And it really depends on the song I'm doing and how connected I feel to it. If it's an experimental throwaway song, I don't mind generated lyrics and I won't edit as much. But my most personal songs are written by me.

Tip for folks who are interesting in writing their own lyrics but not comfortable with it yet- open a notepage (digitally or IRL) and organize it into 8/10/12/14/16. Use those as sections for syllables. Whenever you come up with just 2 lines that rhyme, store them there. If syllables feel oppressive, try theme/ideas to group them. Eventually you'll have enough to try pulling into a song! Even if you only write one line, find the syllable count of the line (not necessary per se, but does help it flow/sound better) and visit a rhyming website to find a word that rhymes with your final word in the prior line.

Might be old info, but being slow, repeat slow in the postive stles. repeat fast in excludes. You can try to say "F MINOR" if you do put that at the front of your styles, even before pianos. Styles are front weighted. Suno does NOT understand BPM markers.

When dictating whats happening, controlling it in the lyrics prompt, put emotional statements, phrases, in brackets. Suno will convert those to musical concepts better than it will try to understand actual musical instructions.
