@mystic meteor Id agree with Saffryn with a note that current "a cappella" as far as Suno training , is often what we think of as the more pop sounds of Pentonix , Pitch Perfect Crew and basically groups in thr past 20 years. With often beatboxing a strong tie in, so Suno interprets that as having some percussive elements and will add percussion often in the mix.

But to get a straight, no instrumental is tough anyway. So try a cappella anyway as a start. Attempt to stem out any instrumental parts and see what the resulting vocals sound like.
