When I do bilingual songs, I try to get phonetic english translations for whatever language I'm working with, so I can see if pronunciation are correct, even though I don't speak the language. Just remember to take anything any LLM says with a huge grain of salt. You can use it to mine ideas and musical terms and suggestions but remember it hallucinates based on the whole of the Internet. You were previously limited far more in 5.5 to how weird you could get with the sliders. If you did like 100% weirdness in 5.5 it barely altered the audio, but in < 5.5 it would wreck/make awesome the audio. The change brought 5.5 up to parity with how the slider worked in the older model version. The downside is if you got comfortable with high weirdness on 5.5, then everything is pure chaos now.

There are always small flaws, of course. That’s normal. But if you keep changing the mastering too much. You can also damage the main feeling of the song. So for Suno, I think it’s better to leave it where the energy feels best. For an ‘80s style track, reaching 1K plays also shows that.

Suno's default mastering is catering towards the average, reletivly cheap closed backed gaming headphones. big on bass, low on mids, with medium highs pretty much.. On any good setup, most suno songs sound bland and safe because.. It's mastered for bad setups by default..

Luckily I've had better luck with prompt adherence since 5.5 dropped, this is actually the most I've struggled with distorted/messed up vocals, and it's almost entirely the intro, almost every gen that's had a successful intro has gone on to have no other issues
