It depends on the song - I'd mainly recommend it for solo vocals, but it can work for other things. I haven't made any recently but I have this older one - think it was either v4.5 or 4.5+ but lost it's tag because of an edit. I think it enhances the delivery to feel more like the singer is thoroughly invested in the song rather than "just singing something".

Not really - it can do spatial panning like you'd get through Atmos or Windows Sonic though - either randomly through prompting or by using Studio to manually pan things.

Hey guys, not seeing as much discussion about the “My Taste” feature here as I expected.

It generated a Billie Eilish vs. Nicki Minaj crossover for me, which… okay, cool.
But it keeps forcing that style into new songs even after I reset the memory.
It looks like the auto-generated persistent memory is heavily influencing the style prompt, and there doesn’t seem to be a real way to disable "My Taste", the toggle only affects the Style input.

Am I missing something? Are there any docs about how this is supposed to work?

I understand what you're saying, but Many people—whether here, on Reddit, and elsewhere—have been saying for months, ever since they changed v5 because of Warner Music Group, that there have been a lot of problems: songs stretching to 8 minutes for no reason, lyrics being added in places where no one asked for them, and especially since v5.5, particularly in hip-hop, constant ad-libs that we do not want, with “yeah!”, “ho!”, etc.

There are even people in other music styles getting crowd noises in the background, like in a concert. On top of that, it no longer respects negative prompts.
