yeah lol i think people overthink it sometimes like spending days on a song doesnt automatically make it better, and making one fast doesnt make it worse. some songs just hit fast. some dont. edm especially can get away with simple or even dumb lyrics if the sound and energy carry it. also people post the winners, not the 500 bad ones sitting in the trash. so it looks deeper than it is.
sometimes huge prompts help, sometimes they just make the model trip over itself. half of this is taste anyway. knowing when something actually goes hard matters more than writing a whole novel to get there.

Length and depth are different - short yet descriptive prompts are going to out perform longwinded but less descriptively dense ones. The trick is not being repetitive unless you need to and to pack as much intent into each word/phrase as you can.

sometimes suno gets it first try, sometimes it takes a while to get a real banger. thats just part of it.
and honestly when my daughter was first learning how to use ai and all the tools, she copied a lot of the same wording and patterns too until she started finding her own style. so yeah, at first some of it being kinda slop is not that shocking. people learn by imitating first. to me the weird part is when it stays on that same path and never grows past it. thats when you start wondering. plus a lot of the ai slop does have those huge long prompts lol. long prompt doesnt mean good song. sometimes it just means somebody is trying way too hard to force it. a lot of this is still taste, luck, and knowing when something actually hits.
