A little drift into the chorus. It’s good but a shift in structure. Verse is about another person, but at the chorus instantly flips quick to topics of self harm. While sensitive to the story there, in a music relative sense the listener would need to put themselves in those shoes of understanding, and there wasn’t much groundwork to lyrically get there. So, from my experience, direction cues in brackets for the lyrics section work very well, but there's a character limit for parsing those instructions that im too lazy to determine. so its best to do shorter instructions and multiple sets of brackets.
