I had that a lot with v5, the last lines of the song missing, maybe a whole verse and outro just cuts off say at 4:37, but still has several minutes worth of 8 minutes to have filled in those parts of the song, then you have struggle trying to get a decent enough extension that follows the tune and lyrics.

Just before 5.5 dropped and now with drop was getting 4 minutes extensions with 2 minute of feedback and assorted tones first, nothing like the song, then it would restart the song from beginning somewhat different to the original, not following the tune, not following the lyrics requested for the extension.

I don't know how many I reported as a bug, but it was quite a number. I wonder if sometimes the extension was actually being handled by 5.5, in the days prior to 5.5 officially being dropped, like an A/B testing with some users.

Then the song restarted at around 2 minutes in from beginning of Lyrics from original, not extension lyrics and often like this one very different tune/vibe to the original.

Been using Suno since December 2023 and never had so many failed extensions back then, some near misses where you could use a chunk of an extension and then do another extension for the outro.

But usually bring my own lyrics over to Suno, then you get mispronunciations, cut off songs before the end, missed verses/sections or repeated verses lines, when not added the chorus twice to lyrics and have bits that need replacing, but replace doesn't work like want it to, so have to extend from where it went wrong.
