I do it because of little free time I have during work week, I get idea, I put it down and refine it, I could rewrite each line myself but still be not satisfied, this way I can blame AI, I can have more free time doing other things. Really since I discovered Suno, I spend most of my free time on it and my days just flew by so quickly, but generally, it is the same for me, when I practice on guitar, I can just play for 3 hours and suddenly it is night and I gotta lay down, and repeat... for me it is frustrating, because of little progress I do day over day with my skill, so I let my creativity out on Suno, so I feel like I created something, even though I had little control how it sounded in the end, but all in all, I started Suno just to listen to something at work

I am personally let down, I uploaded around 15 uploads there, majority guitar playing and it forces the same riffs into my new songs and the voice has very little resemblance to me, yeah, it does have the same tone on the lower end, but other than that, I do not know, I feel like I should not feed it with mix of guitar and vocal and only stick to vocals because now I can not get really creative with it, I feel like it is only one album feature, I can do very similar style songs and then have to recreate all new so my songs do not sound very same-y

there is one thing I discovered with Suno uploading guitar play is, it tends to take into account the tempo and pauses too hard, like I am beginner, I can play the song note for note, but in order to do that, I need to slow down, some shifts between chords are still challenge for me and I tried to cover my playing multiple times but every time there was a pause, when I set tempo high, it usually set new instruments for fast tempo, while kept my original tempo for guitar in place

Yeah, sliders matter a lot on suno, for me most times if a song comes out bad, I decrease on the weirdness style like to 20 and increase on the style influence to like 80 or 85

I just figured out I played my guitar wrong the whole time, I tried to replicate this real song, I started using metronome, the upload said I play it at 110 BPM, than I was like, no way the original song sits at 174BPM, compared it and it was accurate, the problem is, the song sometimes sounds slow, because they keep slowing down for pre-chorus and they do pauses which totally feels like slower tempo

The Trap set is kinda distracting to me. I feel like you'd get more out of a base set with a triplet and a little more sustain with the base in general. The folk pluck and stringed instruments sounds solid but they feel pretty underpowered for most of the song and I think you can bring them a bit more to the front. Love the tone of the male vocalist but reads a bit emotionless to me. The core is solid but it feels unsupported. Just my 2 cents though
