When im writing lyrics with an AI assist, it generally involves a 30-45 minute long discussion before the lyrics crafting starts.
I map out the meaning of the song and how I want it to present, try a few verses in different meters to see how it flows.
There are many ways to craft lyrics, all of them valid.

I need some help or advice.

I used to rely heavily on the Cover feature because it preserved my original melody and harmony really well, while improving the arrangement and vocals. That was literally the main reason I bought a yearly subscription.

After the v5.5 update, it feels like Cover completely changed — now it heavily alters the melody and structure, turning my track into something else instead of enhancing it.

For me this makes it almost unusable, because I already have my own melodies and I don’t need co-composition — I just want better production around my ideas.

Am I missing something?
Is there any way to force it to follow the original melody more closely, or any workaround people are using now?

Now it feels like melody itself isn’t anchored anymore, regardless of influence %. I’ve tried everything from 0 to 100 and it still rewrites the core idea.
