Overall, v5.5 is a great model. I’m really enjoying the instrumentation and the vocal interpretation. However, in more energetic tracks, the vocals still sound slightly metallic, and you can notice it. Even in calmer songs, to be honest.

I hope they update it and remove that. One of the charms of v5 was precisely the absence of that annoying metallic tone. But that’s just my observation, I’m not sure if you’re noticing it too.

All in all, I prefer my v5 generations. That said, I just tried copying my v5 prompts, and that might need some tweaking. Vocals seem better, more detailed, but I think my persona sounds a bit too different from the v5 generations. So right now I'd choose v5 for persona consistency until I get a better grip on 5.5. What the hell did they do to the metal drums in 5.5? Every drum fill sounds like it’s from a hardcore techno song.... 20 bass drum and/or snare drum hits per second. This has nothing to do with rock/metal anymore... it’s awful. And very often there’s this high-frequency ringing in the drums that almost hurts to listen to.
Sorry, but 5.5 is absolutely useless for metal. No advantages whatsoever, only disadvantages.

You have to fight very very hard against model bias to get certain results. For example 5.5 appears to believe all metal must scream at least a little no matter your prompts or meta tags
