imo the important thing is how Suno fixes it, to be serious for a second. if it's impossible to generate 4 minutes of train whistle, I am sad. If you don't get pure whistles in regular prompts, but you can still prompt/extend and directly ask for pure whistle non music, all good.

I can see Suno thinking now with Studio, if you want that, you can use the editor and sound generation to just literally create it. but I am still sentimental about something coming out the model raw

I do enjoy finding out how far suno can create in it's platform. It's fascinates me the quality it's grown into over time. Many dog on it for being ai but it's all about the application of how it's used imo. Using it for the wrong reasons is dumb but the beauty of it comes from it being an outlet for creativity and anyone going through a hard time in life where a soundtrack can really bring out those emotions to deal with it. It could be the spark to someone in life that takes their idea from just an idea turned into an ai song and make them say "hey, I wanna do this with my own two hands".

In most cases it's best to just dislike the song if there's something about it that is bad. I'm aware of this specific issue because it was talked about a lot. So no need to report them to me directly - if I spot something happening a lot I'll try to investigate it. 🙂

Honestly, a lot of people put their heart and soul into what they create. When you expose that, sometimes the vulnerability shows, and it can sometimes be hard to take criticism for that. I think criticism is still good, but it has to be meaningful and respectful.

when its kind of "insulting" i immediately look for the critique, if its something i could have did differently and chose not to, I didn't mess up but also that person isn't wrong and more importantly was actually listening to my stuff

It also is so hard to say in any objective way what is good and what is bad.

We all have individualized music preferences.
Whenever folks ask for any sort of feedback I try to focus exclusively on what I liked about it, or strengths I can identify.

We move forward by lifting one another up, not pulling each other back.
