Really? I jumped for it and was thrilled at its arrival. It saved me so many generations where before I had to try again, so that I could clip the section that I liked and redo just the part I didn't by extending right before whatever it was that I disliked.

Now I can just generate after the good stuff.

In v1 it was IIRC 40 seconds to start, then each after that was 20 seconds. Just extends from the last time of the previous part. And the context was so small that getting music to do a repeat of the melody was ridiculously hard if not impossible.

An example of what I mean. (Bearing in mind that it was always up to forty or thirty seconds and then up to twenty second or ten second extends) you can see the changes in the artwork to indicate the shift of extends here in v1 Chirp. And you had to take what you got from the previous part and hope it worked with where you were trying to take it...

BTW: ignore ⁨[Fade in, Intro]⁩ That was something I tried for a while that never actually worked which is why I quit using it after a while.

Hmm...you can also see how we had to adjust the style prompt each time in attempt to nudge each part

I used to extract the audio and use a DAW to edit the file to make a pseudo stereo using a plugin that basically made dual mono tracks in the song. It worked kinda...

I already know several people who started with Suno only and have begun music lessons. It just accumulates. I suspect that Suno will end up leading an explosion in music learning as time goes on. Especially when people learn the joy of taking a sample of something they recorded and putting it into Suno Studio and the magic that can bring to your sound.

Its been always beneficial to sing my song with just chords for a fingerpick output, and turn back around and learn the picks and riffs off of the output. Granted Suno has 16 fingers on one hand , and a 14-inch finger reach, and its always some alt-tuning, but all the more challenging.

Can be really useful if you're trying to force something.

Like say a duet to work a certain direction. Or to force a tone change, say in a chorus. You may really like the verses vocal but want more of a lift in the chorus. So you extend from before the chorus, fiddle with the style and the metatags in your prompt or even the precise time at which you extend until you're happy. Then when you have completed your journey to the end of the song, hit full song to get the whole as one track.

Then you can do all sorts of fun stuff, like covering the result or even mashups with your favorite versions. You'd be shocked at how much that can uplift a track.

FINALLY!!!! Suno recognized proper vocal placements and two distinct males. I had to use the 'Born Under a Black Star' persona (renaming it Mr. Agares) and my default Male Persona, 'Mr. Bael'. I think it worked really well!

Well only Suno-generated stuff works. Best workaround is to describe the voice/style in text, generate it in Suno, then save that as the Persona.
Uploads can still be used as reference, just not for Personas.
