I think I might have solved my problem with the covers and the vocal pacing, though. Since I write all of my own stuff, and use AI to implement the 'effects' and such, all I have to do is study the cadence of the original song, and write a countersong using the same pacing.

You have to build it. Create a discord server, social media accounts, go out and perform in social spaces in your community. Engage with people. I can't tell you how to do it, but start with your passion and build relationships with people that enjoy what you do. If they love your work, those people will invite their friends (so on, so on). But you can't just post and expect people to just show up. Like I said, its going to take time. You are going to have to except that for now, this is a hobby of passion and not a source of income for the foreseeable future. Don't sell yourself, just write and create for you and it will build over time.

I've spent a lot of time making a system prompt that is pretty neutral and flexible to the tone of the song. The persona is more a set of instructions, rails, scoring, and some other factors it need to think about before producing a song. In my experience with it, it's created the most "accurate to idea" outputs.

@fossil cipher ok I might have figured a little something out. If you upload a vocal stem from the track you want. Then make a "cover" of it but put "Vocals only" in the style and put "Instruments, music" in negative prompt area. Then turn weirdness down to 0% and Style influence at 100% and Audio Influence at 100%. This should give you a track with minimal music. It took a few gens but was able to get some with longs spots of just the vocal pretty close the the original that can then be made a persona.

So might burn some credits trying to get it close but might be worth
