The idea is supposed to be to mashup two different full songs. You take completed tracks and try to use the lyrics section to tie them together in a way that works with both songs.

I found that if I use stem extracts that I made from various previous generations, setup a new style prompt with no relation to the donor clips and come up with new lyrics it almost always supercharges the results and I can find something I seriously like and either cover that or tweak it to make something I like even more. It's just so much better than trying to use it as intended.

I call it a spacer. It was something that worked better in earlier models and just indicated that something was there but because it was just a series of dots didn't call for any vocals. In the past I would use this to prevent the song from starting with vocals right away. For this it just helps pad out the instrumentals.

It's in parenthesis too to make the model think it's backing vocals but again without anything for it to sing.

||If you really want to know, the part where the younger version of the lead singer is in the back of the station wagon singing, about the one minute mark, there's a bit where the car is moving...backwards out the windows. The motion is clearly wrong. But the brain just marks that there is motion outside the car and the eye is drawn to the singer and pays attention to him, not the incorrect movement of the car. I think I wasted something like $40 trying to get the correct motion of the vehicle before I just accepted that I would have to hope no one notices it. So far no one has without me pointing it out.||

The compounds you see in there are part of my EWCI project, which started as a way to determine if Suno will reason parse them back out, emotional statements link up in weird ways. So if [rockpopjazz] separates properly into [rock pop jazz] then it will reach into rock, pop, and jazz pools, to figure out what to do with that bracket, maybe. Emotions are weirder because [sacredsorrow] can point to a lot of different things, but still reaches for both sacred, and sorrow, wherever it goes, so its some random, while also being directed by the style prompt. I actually prefer 3-4 words compounded in style, so that I end up in weirder places then where you would normally end up just prompting something like "Jazz Sad". I have a whole python thing going for this atm.

But there is no specific way you should be doing things. I went through and found a bunch of genres doing this, but there are a lot of ways of doing things in suno that work great, and are totally different. IF someone tells you how to do something, its a recommendation, and commonly will never be the only way of doing it.
