I’ve seen a few similar cases recently where billing went through but account access didn’t activate properly. In some cases, people mentioned that reaching out via the in-app support form (if accessible) or replying directly to the billing receipt email helped escalate it beyond the automated responses.

Hopefully a mod or Suno team member can look into this — losing access after subscribing is definitely not okay.

By “outperform” I mainly mean emotional coherence and immediacy, not technical polish. I’ve noticed that lighter prompts sometimes let Suno settle into a more natural groove early, whereas heavily constrained prompts can overfit and then become hard to steer without burning credits.

I agree with you though — if the first few gens don’t land in the right neighborhood, it’s usually better to reset or reframe the prompt rather than brute-force iterate. Iteration without re-anchoring definitely turns into a credit sink.

Curious: when you do adjust, do you tend to change the style description or the structural/lyric side first?

Yeah, this is exactly where it gets confusing for a lot of us.

Personally, I don’t treat the style prompt as a “wall of instructions” anymore. I think of it more like setting a scene or vibe, not specifying technical rules. When it gets too dense, I’ve found Suno seems to selectively latch onto something and ignore the rest — which makes it feel random.

I’m also not formally trained in music theory or production, so I don’t rely much on technical terminology. What’s worked better for me is using perceptual language (mood, energy, texture, reference-like descriptions) rather than trying to describe how the music should be constructed.

At least from my experiments, Suno doesn’t really “adhere” to theory the way a human producer would — it feels more like it’s matching patterns holistically than following constraints. That’s why it’s hard to tell what it’s listening to and what it’s discarding.

Do you usually start broad and then narrow, or do you try to be specific from the beginning?

Looping is still a bit tricky with Suno, but a few things help.

I’ve had the best results by explicitly asking for ambient / underscore-style music with no strong intro or outro, and by keeping the structure very simple (e.g. no big builds or final cadences). Descriptions like “continuous”, “evolving”, or “cyclical” seem to work better than song-style prompts.

Even then, I usually treat the output as near-loopable and do the actual seamless loop point in an editor — trimming or crossfading the tail back into the start.

Curious what genre you’re aiming for? Some styles loop much more naturally than others.

The opinion you might not want but we might need : If you are making songs, put your heart into it. Write the lyrics yourself if you can. If you can't then take time and learn. Music generally needs to come from a good place for it to contribute to the world. However, if you are not on this path of thinking, that is ok. Enjoy what you are doing. Do what you enjoy. My path in life hopes we can use music to make the world a better place. And that's ok too.
