That kinda depends where you live, in the netherlands we have BumaStemra, you pay a yearly fee (aint much, like 60euro) and before you publish your music, you send it to them and if anything like what you said happens they will sue them and take care of stuff on your behalf without any costs

If they are actively keeping your royalties away from you, even if it is in their TOS, you can sue them for theft (or the like) - go consult a lawyer for that scenario (assuming that the country they are in won't be protecting the distributor).

And if it is deemed that there is nothing you can do to sue them for, spread word on various media to bring awareness so their service gets kneecapped

I really appriciate your input here. If you allow me a minute let me explain why this option is something that i just don't know how could fit in my plan. I want to create long form videos, like 2hrs of music per video, probably released twice per week. So i highly doubt i would be able to do this with a distributor, specially now when they are cracking down on ai music as i have seen in recent news over and over again. So as i did my research for these channels, i have seen plently of channels created basically 5 months ago, o even 3 months ago and they are releasing their music at least twice per week, 2-3hr long form music playlsits. Perhaps im missing something here, but is it really realistic to try to find a distributor and see if i could get approved and then do this process? idk, do you have any insight on that?

Well, distributors we speak of are music distributors so that won't work unless you mean you are making an album with of work.
Most of the things against AI you hear about are largely about AI slops and/or impersonations of real people/works.

You will need to look into copyright protection in your jurisdiction if you are curious how to afford protection over your work and associations related to it (like BMI/ASCAP/SOCAN #🗣️┃chill-chat message)

Pretty much anything pure AI generated, including AI generated lyrics wirh no modification, will not be protected by copyright protection at this time.

Most countries are either taking the wait-and-see approach or only allowing non-AI portions to be protected (e.g. lyrics, the melody if you can prove you hummed how you wanted it, manipulation of the track [manual rearrangement], etc.).

Again though, that depends heavily where you live and subject to change (and will likely still be a hot debate about for the next decade)
