Indeed I had few old half done demos with my music and lyrics. Took suggestions from chatgpt/Gemini to do like a bridge. They gave, I did bit of editing and took out Suno productions. Suno kept my melody and made nice tracks. But then I felt few imagery seemed too overused and cliche like thunder, neon etc. So I went back to ask and AI itself admitted that ai uses repetative imagery. So now I will be removing all those ai parts and redo. If I can do half I should do full. Bear a long post

The LANDR plugin uses AI to analyze the track, and then uses an algorithm to make an inital set of changes, which gives a base to start with. I wont ever trust a completely AI driven mastering app, I have ears, software doesnt 😉

I haven't bothered with generating stems and trying to remake them or remaster them, to be honest. Just haven't found that they mesh together that well when you try and remaster or cover them into something that sounds not granular.

that’s completely fair. i am with you on that use case. i think using studio to regenerate a riff in context or to make samples makes sense. i only don’t see it as a daw replacement at all. that’s kinda why i call it a waste of time as a daw. outside of regen you’ve basically got eq, volume and some cut and paste. there is no piano roll, no routing, no sends, no automation, no real mixing control. that’s not a digital audio workstation. that’s closer to a light audio editor
