Easiest way for adding sound effects would be to create them elsewhere (eg elevenlabs) and import into Suno Studio to include with your track.

I use Studio for almost all my tracks now. Either regenerating backing vocals to pan L R or recording my own guitar or synth parts in my DAW then importing them back into Studio to add to the mix.

technically it is 8min max but it rarely goes to that length for me. Usually based on lyrics and prompts you might get something 5min+ but you can use the Extend function to keep going.

Try runninng your prompt far more concise, not too many natural instructions, more broader terms. It could just be that at this point your prompt reads as lyrics, rather than the prompt.

For me its a bit difficult to give precise tipps. I have a set of infos i pass on, some useful tipps and ways to get things to work. A lot of them do not work anymore and have no alternative way to get it to work. Many of the prompts i used and suggested do totally different things now. So i always recommend Studio because i am quite familiar with studio and do everything there... But not everybody has studio 😄

Since studio exists my overll metatagging got way less. I add the things i want afterwards in a nicely stemmed and prepared song where i use only the best sounding parts. Thats unbeatable... Basically no more real credit waste on randomness.
