depends on if you want the same genre or not but generally 25% cover strength is fine. 85% is generally too high, it'll keep the inperfections that way.

Do several different recordings of your own vocals - one spoken, one just ooh and ahh for note range but make sure you hit your highest and lowest notes, and then a couple of whatever you want style wise - they don't have to sound great.

Then, instead of a persona, use Inspo with 3-4 of your sample recordings and find an audio influence setting that gives you what you are happy with.

Gen raw - no persona/inspo until you have at least two tracks you like.
Inspo two - four raw gens until you have one really good track.
Cover layer over that with and without personas multiple times.
If it starts to degrade, pick the three best from different persona steps and re-Inspo with those until you get another really good single gen.

Repeat until happy.

When using inspo - make sure the first track in the list has the best structure/flow of the set.

SO THE 1980S VERSION is probally my most usable cut to date.
general suno has a huge problem after open vino separatees the music.
ai music /audacity edit/ my vocals btw/ which suno can't replicate my voice haha it failed 400+ times.

the instrumental steams volume level are so inconsistent: and yes i have autism related problems with the editor so
its easier for me just to try to regen the whole song.
also v5 has huge trouble covering a instrumental after its been cut and recomposited into a usable song.

ive also noticed that suno favors the high note compositions and ive yet to figure out the disable it key note 2 more songs until that album is done lol... for now. i also wish suno ai had tonal and meldoic rythm singing detection because it would compose the song way better note wyse.

I do feel like if the weirdness is lower it can prevent some of your more "subtle" ideas from being recognized, if the AI determines that it's not exactly a strong match with your other ideas

the only way to get around it, is grab stems, and using an external program to extend time, but you'll have to use paul stretch etc, or it seriously messes with vocals... then you have to worry about vocal track manipulations to adjust correct offsets against the adjusted stretched/shrunk section of music. I would love to get a 33/7 to emulate some of tools more elaborate song mechanics or be able to do things in a progressive series of signatures like being able to generate something in the realm of limelight or anything by Rush in general.

Not sure where to ask this but are people able to cover you without giving you credit? I met someone on a Reddit sub and he remixed one of my songs but there's no indication I did the lyrics or original even where it usually shows that on Suno's end in the description. He deleted his Reddit account today so I can't ask him and that makes me even more concerned

You can turn off covers and remixes per song, if it on, then yes

They can even hide where they covered or remixed from

I mean I know people Anecdotally who use Suno on spotify for money, so if you care about not being covered or remixing, its almost worth it to keep it off just sending it over to friends if you dont want your stuff used by others
