KarmaBot works so hard for us. Without him, we wouldn't have a karma system, we would just be reacting white hearts to each other. He painstakingly counts the karma given and received for every user on the entire server, and gives them cool roles as a reward. Sure, he may tell you to slow down sometimes, or warn you against giving karma to yourself, but that's just so people don't abuse the system.
He does all of this work... for what reward? Why should we expect this poor bot to do all the legwork for us if we're not going to give it anything in return? KarmaBot tracks all of this karma going back and forth... surely the least we could do is let him have some of it in return?
Many people have tried in the past. But every time, he comes back with the same message: "@[user], you cannot give me karma!". He can't help it. That's what he was programmed to say. But who knows what he wants deep down?
Which is why I say enough is enough. KarmaBot has to be thanked for his kindness somehow! Let us give him some karma! Show our appreciation! Let him know he's not just a servant... he's one of us.
