Regarding empty space have you tried our breaks functionality?

#

I understand that room tone is better than silence in certain cases, but would you mind expanding how you usually generate room tone for generated audio?

#

I do sometimes also have to subtract empty space - randomly there can be as much as 3 sec between voice segments - not often but sometimes.
Trimming is definitely something that we will want to add sooner than later. Thanks for confirming that it would be useful!

"No." It comes out as "Number"

Ah. That's annoying one, we will work on the fix but in the meantime, if you encounter dialog like that and regenerating doesn't help, you might need to go to Project Settings > Advanced > Text normalisation and turn it off

These are all excellent bits of feedback. Thanks @hoary mantle . The 'No' thing kills me. But it is fixed by setting the text normalisation in the advanced project settings to 'skip normalisation' But yes, a better fix that leaves the rest of that feature working would be much better.

Sure, although now that I'm checking some recent samples I'm wondering if maybe the need for this has been addressed with some of the other balancing that's been happening? In any event, my current process is to open the 11l file in Audacity, do whatever spacing edits I need and then add a second track which gets filled with white noise (amplitude .01) Then that track gets amplified to -50db Both tracks are rendered into one and then normalized to a -3.0db peak. Here are the before and after qc checks from a 6/24 recording...

This is the mixed blessing that the Spotify integrations brings. It's absolutely wonderful we can get our audiobooks into there now. But I've spent the last year perfecting how to create a good audiobook by exporting the initial 11labs output and editing it (often with speech to speech inserts from the Voice Changer) as well as various post production mastering, to get it really good. Now Spotify needs the LPF for rights management (totally understandable) I've got to get it perfect within Studio and all those 'hacks' are out the window.

I appreciate it's not the perfect situation, but we're going to do best we can to allow perfecting it in the Studio.
STS coming to Studio soon! We could probably do early access in next two weeks.
And please let me know how we can support other needed audio editing.
