#If I regenerate a paragraph in a project will it spend additional characters?

No, regenerating a paragraph in a project does not spend additional characters from your quota. The characters are only counted when you initially generate the text for that paragraph.
When you regenerate a paragraph, the AI is simply providing a new performance or variation of the existing text, without changing the number of characters. This allows you to experiment with different renditions until you find one you're satisfied with, without consuming more of your character quota.

The above is incorrect @fossil obsidian
Yes. Currently, each generation with any adjustment will lead to a quota being deducted from your account.
We are working on adding a feedback mechanism, where for every re-generation you will have the ability to not use part of your quota, providing feedback.
