In this case a PVC may yield better results, but as it sounds like you are cloning a voice you don't have permission to clone then you should probably stop violating the Terms and Conditions of the service.. 😂
Don't worry I have permission I'm a voice agent ; )
I buy the rights to use the voice of my comedians, I'm fully aware of the terms and conditions of XILabs
Sweet, sorry for the remark
Back on the subject of accent, do you think it helps to add in the text a context of place for exemple if I write that the narrator is Portuguese and lives in Lisboa maybe that'll generate proper Portuguese...
But it would be hard to to a PVC as you need to person's whose voice you are cloning to complete a voice recognition step so it would not work for you..
Yeah that can for sure help but I know the model does sway closer to BR pronunciation, likely due to the training data being more BR heavy..
Yeah way more brazilian in the database I suppose
Anyone from XLabs to give us an advice on the matter ???
The same applies for Spanish, way too (South) American, which is irritating Spanish people.
Are you following the guidelines in the help center and it is still not working properly? Do you have the ability to use one of the PVCs from the library?
I found out that writing clues can help targeting the right accent, for example in Spanish :
Soy español y vivo en Madrid.
Actually it worked with Portuguese to get the accent of Portugal 🇵🇹 but was really a pain to get to speak Spanish from Spain and not LATAM
Hello @icy saddle can you give the link to the guide lines again here ? Thanks 😊
Sure! These are probably the most relevant for you.

Hey there. I'm having this issue as well. I cloned an european portuguese voice and the text results are all in brazilian portuguese.
You wrote in the text, before the text you wanted in the voice, something along the lines of "Sou português e vivo em Portugal" ?
Exactly
Vivo em Lisboa…
At the beginning of the text
I’ld say it worked 80% of the times
With non-English, the different models give you very different results. I mean Multilingual v1 vs Multilingual v2. V2 is much better but it'd be interesting if you get the same results in both, and what your Similarity param is
