#429 Error - Too Busy

Hi there. We are on the Independent Publisher account and are consistently getting 429 error through both TTS and TTS Stream endpoints at the moment. Are you planning on scaling the service any time soon? At present, would we still have this issue if we upgraded to the Growing Business account and can you guarantee that? Thanks

This is only the with the alpha v2 models right? The v1 models should be working reliably.

No, upgrading to Growing Business will not guarantee you avoid 429 errors. I'm getting them as well on Growing Business. Enterprise plans can offer some additional guarantees but I'm doubtful these would apply to alpha features.

Thanks for your quick reply. Yeah, the V1 seems to be working fine, sadly the quality is not adequate for our use case. I have tried getting onto the Enterprise plan but nobody got back to me when I submitted the form a while back. Are you currently scaling your infrastructure to handle more traffic and when do you think the 429 issues will be resolved? Thank you

I'm just a Discord mod and not aware of their infrastructure plans. However, v2 really isn't intended to be used in production during the alpha testing period. I'm sure they'll have the proper infrastructure in place for production usage when it comes out of alpha, as they do for v1 currently.

The enterprise team would be able to get a more detailed answer for you whenever you get to speak to them. How long ago did you submit the form? It isn't uncommon for it to take 2 weeks or a little longer due to the high demand.

are u sure that v2 models are more rate limited than the others? the api route v2 models to a different cluster?
