Bands don’t just decide where to play based on where they want to go, it also depends on venue availability, logistics, financial viability, promoter agreements. Then there's things like local infrastructure and safety. Sometimes, things fall through because of scheduling conflicts, production challenges or other unexpected circumstances. It’s frustrating, but it doesn’t mean they don’t care or are unaware. Mike has said last night that they love Rio and they hope to be back soon.

The band announced these shows, so whether technically or not, they were canceled. You even sent out an email informing people about the cancellations—playing word games isn’t fair to us.

I already felt wronged by the excessive price increase for the LPU Pit, which went up 40% since last November, not to mention the additional 20% fee we’re forced to pay just to buy tickets. On top of that, two shows were canceled, including the one in Rio, which I had planned to attend because it was the closest to my home.

And now, the biggest benefit of the LPU—being able to purchase a ticket—is something I won’t even be able to use, and I don’t even have the right to request a refund (which I believe might actually be illegal here in Brazil).

Please, be more transparent with us. It’s not right to respond with something like, “Just accept it and move on because some people liked it.”

Not even to mention this horrible practice of opening sales on the worse date possible, again. The cheapest half-price ticket is about 1/3 of the minimum wage here, not taking into account transportation and accomodations for those who will have to travel. Of course the band can't do much about the prices(despite it making no sense in being pricier compared to last year, just a couple months ago) but they should at least know that it'd be way more sensible to have sales at the beginning of the month, after fans have received their salaries. I don't think the band itself should thoroughly understand the socioeconomics of each country they play at, but someone is getting paid for doing a bad job at that and at properly communicating and supporting the fans that had their shows "canceled"

LP Underground is and has always been the official FAN club and its main thing is to create community and give perks to its members that pay for a membership which include exclusive merch, exclusive media and preferential access to the band's events, including shows. That a show is cancelled or moved has nothing to do with the LPU and when buying a membership you're paying for all the benefits, not the pre-sale code alone
