Eventim has the same queue as ticketmaster, when is a big band that can sellout, is always the same story, enter the virtual line and get lucky

I get why their checkout kinda sucks. Checkout is an incredibly hard problem at scale especially when you have to do what TicketMaster does and allow you to reserve specific seats.

The big ecommerce platform I worked on (Shopify) solved this by not having a reservations system (you don't get guaranteed the item till you've paid for it) since we were selling goods not tickets

Otherwise you will have BIG database contention issues and cross-tenant inefficiencies

Now that's not to say they couldn't do a better job of it 😂 They definitely could lol.

My friend who used to work at TicketMaster told me that under the hood it's literally just a bunch of Microsoft SQL instances with custom rules and VBA script. Sounded incredibly cursed

Speaking from my experience with the gig in London, I arrived at the stadium at around 3pm and managed to get the LPU early entry wristband 423 out of 500

It was enough to stay in the second row near the barricades, but for são Paulo I want to arrive even earlier to make sure I will be hugging the barricade this time

I got info that LPU early entrance was limited to 500 people at their concerts, and 300 in Seoul, and they didn't receive bracelets (don't know why). So bracelets/early entrance are probably going to be limited to the first few hundred on queue.

Seoul used a different ticketing system than TicketMaster. The non-TM system let them do it digitally. TicketMaster sucks which is why they had to do the wristbands lol

I'd strongly recommend you to avoid staying in a hotel located in the central area of São Paulo. It's dangerous, therefore the hotel prices are usually cheaper, so be careful and always check the location when searching for a place to stay

To the foreigners coming to São Paulo, our public healthcare system doesn't extend to cover foreign tourists, but public hospitals won't refuse to provide help when someone is seeking medical aid.
If you have private health insurance, check your coverage, just to be safe. Many of our public hospitals are often crowded, so is always wise to have a private hospital as backup, in case your emergency can't wait.
Our public healthcare system is free, including ambulances, so don't hesitate to call when seeking medical help. The number of the emergency ambulance service is 192, and the call is free.
Lastly, but not least, although Brazil doesn't enforce it, it strongly recommends for foreign tourists to get vaccinated against some diseases like yellow fever and measles. Check beforehand which ones you are recommended to take, based on your vaccination record.

São Paulo is full of places to visit, lol. One of the most beautiful places I've ever visited is the Independence Museum, in the Ipiranga neighborhood. The museum is located inside a beautiful park, and every Sunday there's a street food market between one part of the park and the other. Many people like to visit the Liberdade neighborhood too, especially because it's the most Asian neighborhood in the city, but it's a bit dangerous and crowded on Sundays, even though the food is amazing.

As for places to eat, I really like a restaurant called Casa de Francisca, the Brazilian food there is really good. It's located in Sé, right in the center of São Paulo, near the Sé Cathedral, which is a very beautiful church and is also the city's landmark. But be careful, because the area is a bit dangerous. Oh, another cool place to eat in this area is Padaria Santa Tereza, one of the oldest in the city. The coxinha there is incredible!

Other cool places to visit if you like museums are the Pinacoteca and MASP. MASP is on Paulista Avenue, one of the most traditional avenues in São Paulo, and there are great restaurants there too

I've been lucky enough to never have been mugged in these places, but if you have someone from the city to accompany you it's safer. Out of all of these, I really like the Independence Museum, the restaurants in Ipiranga are very good too, and the neighborhood is relatively safe

Also next to the Independence Museum is the Zoology Museum, which is also very cool. I visited it the other day and really liked it

If you are really worried about it, check with a doctor. Also, consult with official government sources about the recommended vaccines, both from Brazil and your country of residence.
