Hey LPFam! I am so glad to be going to Seoul for the show (which is 6000+ km away from me but nonetheless!)

But I am a bit confused by the Inspire Arena rules stated on the website. So do I get it right that it is useless to line up even for the standing seats because the admission is based on the entry number? Maybe someone has already been at the Inspire Arena and can clear this up?

Does standing number mean the same number written on the ticket confirmation as the 'Entrance'? For example if my confirmation for standing area states 'Entrance 42' does that mean I have to come at 17:00 and I will be the 42nd in the queue (even if there are people who arrived earlier)?

I'm just confused because I've never seen a system like this before 😅 and I'm curious if it makes sense to arrive earlier to take a good place in the queue in that case

Or does it mean there will be a queue since morning and people will be given numbers based on their position at 17:00? (how will they manage to get paper tickets, though 🤔 )

I think the waiting area for standing opens at 17:00, and you can wait in line according to the given number and enter the performance hall at 18:00.
The number given refers to the standing number when purchasing a ticket. There's no need to stand in line early in the morning

I personally have never been to this venue, but from what their website shows its like a hotel resort, waterpark, shopping mall, and concert hall all placed together. There are some food places but they only list the fancy restaurants and not if they have anything else yet.

Google maps can be good for foreigner reviews but Koreans use Naver. Oh, and if you search anything on Naver, take spaces out. So like the venue is at "Inspire Entertainment Resort," but you have to type it like "Inspireentertainmentresort." Not entirely sure why that is a thing but it helps.

If I'm not mistaken, Google maps wasn't really allowed until like 2008-ish. Both Google and Apple are still denied mapping data to this day so you can't map driving or walking routes because of the restrictions.

Korea prefers you use Naver or Kakao maps.

Are you at the airport trying to buy ticket? Try going in person with cash (won ₩) and seeing if you can get one. T-money cards are also an option but you still need to get won to buy/load the card with money.

When you purchased tickets, does it say delivery method was the box office? If so you need to get your tickets first, before getting into queue for entry. I cannot say anything about early entry as the only thing mentioned is about standing tickets.

Maybe taxi if shuttles are so little. Taxi is about 12,000₩ from airport. You may be able to check Inspire's website for their shuttle services if they have more.

When choosing the "seat" in standing the numbers started from 1 to 1000, top to bottom. So the more up the seat you chose was, the smaller your standing number

It's how concerts are in Korea and I guess the good thing about it is that you only have to fight for a good spot in the ticket sales and no need to line up for long hours but 1. It's different so it's really confusing 2. Passport plus members didn't get any real perks

It all depends on what your email with ticket confirmation says. If it says the "delivery method: pick up at ticket box," then that's what you have to do (common for foreigners). If you were able to get the tickets digitally from whichever company on their app/website, then you should be okay.
