It just to protect your ears. You can hear everything perfectly fine still but it just reduces the volume a bit so your ears don't ring or ring way less after and helps prevent tinnitus

Honestly bud, that's just the experience you will have at every rock concert. Nobody was being rude or trying to upset anyone, this is what we do. It's an opportunity for us to let go of all the bad stuff in our lives and go wild. Everyone looks after each other. I'd recommend a seated ticket if you're not a fan of it.
