perfect pitch is being able to recognize any pitch just by hearing it, which does significantly help with trying to stay in tune, but still everyone is gonna be out of tune on a pitch every now and then, no matter how good a singer- i'm just saying i'm incredibly impressed with how consistent emily has been so far
