#LPU migration questions

Hi, I'm trying to upgrade my account but after entering all my data, LPU is getting stuck at "SETTING UP YOUR PASSPORT". Is there anything I can do?
I, individually, am unsure at this moment. I will log your feedback, though. Which browser and OS are you using? (Before I log this, have you updated your browser and accepted cookies from the site?)
Cookies are accepted. Using Chrome and Windows 10. OS and browser are both uptodate
Any additional comments regarding the issue? Other things you've tried that haven't worked, etc?

Firefox isn't working either. I Had to choose between credit card and "separate direct debit" (I hope that's the correct translation). I'm from germany. I chose separate direct debit.
but separate direct debit is no longer available to choose now
currently not owning a credit card, so I can't try that.
While trying to log in i am getting "something went wrong" black screen, anyone with the same issue?

Okay I just received an email with invoice from lpu and stripe.
Seems like my order went through, but the page isn't redirecting from the setting up passport page
having the same exact issue. received the lpu and stripe emails and everything but something must have gone wrong. are you able to log into your account and see if your membership plan says "lpu passport" or "passport plus"? I was able to log in with Edge but my membership plan still said "lpu passport"
What browser are you using?

Still says lpu passport. Maybe they change it when they actually receive the money. Which the email says might take up to two days.
yeah, maybe. I'll check back in this thread when I hear back from LPU HQ or when my membership plan updates

Hi! Is it just me or is the LPU borked atm? It offered me cookies options, allowed me to choose preferences. It gave accept all and refuse all options, I chose refuse all because I did not want to accept all, and now all that is visible is terms links at the bottom and a black screen.

Ah, no I never had funds to do LPU in the past, and I wanted to learn more about the program, but cant get anything to load. When in doubt, my terrible internet is usually to blame, but thought I would ask.
So, I have migrated and am trying to figure out how i can get the discord role for the regular LPU passport since it seems that there is a role, i tried to verify for it, and all it does is has you log in, and then it just shows you your LPU account page, and doesn't give the role.

cause auth is on "block" state (network part)
in my case it was adblock + vpn

Try to tick the "show all channels" option on
Otherwise you can head over id:browse and manually select the ones you're interested in, including the LPU ones

When i go to press on the link roles and select the LPU Passport Plus, its asking me to verify using that LPU bot. Then it takes me to log in page again even though I am already logged in.
Nothing happens afterwards. I cant click on finish too.
Been trying for a while. nothing happens. tried different browsers too.

It shouldn't be logging you in automatically, I think, unless you have your information presaved for login, maybe.

Did you try deauthorizing the LPU bot from discord and try that part again. I would do this if you haven't.

I did, that was the last step. Thats where it gets stuck on not doing anything on discord side but would show that its linked in the website in the accounts tab.
try deauthorizing again, unlinking from the site (under Account tab) and linking using a different browser

After linking to discord, I still dont see lpu chat?
Down arrow at the top left of the server by "Linkin Park" > "Show all channels". Or you can browse channels via "Channels & Roles".

if you're migrating your existing account then click on existing user migration
in there you'll have to create a new account with the same mail
LPU website landing page > click "Sign Up" > Enter the required information > check the email that you used in this process. You should get an email saying, "The LPU Account tied to your email address is ready for migration! Our records indicate that you are an existing LPU [insert type here] Account Member," if you are an existing LPU [insert type here] Account Member. Click "Migrate Account". If you have further questions from there, we'll be here to help you out.
what browser app are you using? chrome?

@mild carbon Try deauthorizing, unlinking, and relinking. If that doesn't work, try using a different browser after deauthorizing and unlinking and then relink.

Hey-ya. Did you sign up with an entirely new account, or are you currently signed up with an email that you had been using for LPU just before the site went down?
When you went to the new LPU site, did you click "Sign Up" and fill out the required information on the next page?

Doing so should have prompted the system to send you an email with a verification code, I believe.
I'll let Lorenzo know, since you said you never received a code, and it sounds like you had completed/done everything that you were supposed to up to that point.

I'm just wondering how you have an LPU passport if you didn't receive a verification code. Are you sure you're not mistaking a redemption code for a verification code? A verification code is much shorter, and to my knowledge, only consists of numbers. Mine was 6 digits.

i thought maybe it was the redemtion code but it says the code is invalid in the bar
Redemption codes, so far, have only been used to get Passport Plus on the new site.
Did you have a paid membership when the site went down?

Hi! I had a full paid LPU membership but wasn’t able to redeem it while migrating my account. Someone told me I was supposed to be emailed a code, but never received it
I was only able to get LPU passport when I probably was supposed to get LPU passport plus

Update: LPU HQ said they've been having problems with the SEPA option and removed it. they sent me a redemption code which I redeemed and now I finally have my badge 😃
question though: why has credit card been the only payment option (not counting the quickly removed SEPA option)? why can't we have more payments options like PayPal etc.? I personally don't have a credit card so I was hyped about the SEPA option 😕

I've been trying to migrate my account but I can't get past the sign in. I fill in my stuff, tick in the box for terms of service and press sigh up but it doesn't go anywhere. Is this a common issue?
I'm also having issues with scrolling on the page and flipping the phone doesn't help
Did you check your mail to see if you received a verification email despite the page bugging?
Yeah I fixed that now after many tries. I migrated the account now but I can't redeem the code because I can't scroll down the page 😅

I've tried it both on my laptop and phone. I believe it was chrome on both

Yes I have. I have also de-authorized and re-authorized the link and the LPU channels still don't appear.
I have never seen the authorization window in step 3

I'm using Chrome. I do have LPU Passport Plus on my email address. Just not sure why I can't get into the channels. I see the LPU group to the left, but not the restricted channels.

nope, can't even see it. When I go to drop down into the pinned roles. It goes to the sign in page but never goes further. I'll try on my phone or another pc. The bot isn't saving my credentials when I go to login on any browser I try 😦

Hey, is this thread still active? I'm trying to do my migration and the migration link is having issues. I don't see anywhere to enter the redemption code and when I followed the link it just took me to new account creation, which I filled out, and it just said "Something went wrong."
refresh the page and try to log in with the new user and pass you created. A friend had the same "something went wrong" issue and it fixed like that, he also changed browsers
