Ok i found the exact issue, i made this server with visitor not having a pass word attached, I decided last night to attach one but the server kept timing out

I ended up deleting the role assigned and it's working again but I'm trying to have the server set up to where random people can't join anymore

Can you just set a server password in the settings?
Granted this is for a Windrose server, but many other games have the option too:

unforetunately, i do not have that, the only thing I have is this section:

on the left of it is the role name and passwords

#

whenever you get into enshrouded onto a server, you have to input a password or log in without pass if the admin set it up that way and you just put in the password the admin gave you so youll have specific permissions

only thing ive seen to remove the option of people getting in without password is to assign the "visitor" role with a password to log into and thatll stop them from getting in

Can you do me a favor and take a few snippets of how the control panel looks? Just paint over the ip, passwords etc if they are visible

Its more so i have an idea of how it looks compared to the servers i have

I actually found the issue and its resolved now, give me a sec to build up an explanation for you just in case you come across this again

so one of the roles was called guest and it didnt have a password assigned to it, this gave the server the opening for anyone to join. Once I removed that role, the server changed to being locked with only able to enter in with a password. I think I was adding a role called visitor and putting a lock on it and I think it was confusing Gportal on what to do.
