ive got everything setup i believe and have it running but when i login into american truck simulator it doesnt show my server in the convoy tab

Try this:

My config_ds.cfg was missing my steam_id, so the server wasn’t registering properly with Steam/Convoy. After adding my SteamID, it started loading correctly.

My server_config.sii had a description line that caused an error and made the server fall back to default settings. I shortened the description and the file loaded fine.

After fixing both files and restarting the server, my AP Server 1 is now showing up in-game and working normally.
