Hello! My sons of the forest server is up but everything is gone? What do I do? Will it go back to the previous state? Everything we have done is gone for now.

In the basic settings.

You should be able to select savegames from 1 to 4. If you haven't changed that yet, and it is not 1, change it to 1.

Is the wipe everytime sever resarts on that what it sounds like to me I had that problem with my rust sever for a min till I figured it out

since all servers went down yesterday our server lost all progress

Some where there should be a wipe when restart setting see if that got accendtly turned on

Set it to continue. Otherwise everything will be new every restart.

contact gportal and see if they can revert it they should have a back up file some where

I guess this has been the first restart since you set the server up and this is what happens if it is set to 'new'. I had to experience this the hard way, too. See if support can help you.

A hint on tickets: once you wrote it, wait for them to answer before you add any more info. Otherwise your ticket will be sent to the end of the queue again.
