Single player minecraft world to a g portal server

I want to turn my Minecraft single player world into a g portal server is that possible?

If so is there any guides??

thise two guides sould give you the info you need. to get startet. there are other vids that will explain about mods if that is what you want. and you can look up difrent mods on youtube as well as finding other server perfomance mods and datapacks. that can make server run a bit better. and quides for thise. although mostly not gporal only vids. but general server performanace vids.

we have rented servers before but we just want continue our old world

just remember to close the server when uploading the old world. and then go into world selection in basic settings after. to change to that world.

and ofcouse save settings before starting up server again 🙂

we have loaded the server in as per the video but we are unable to join the server

it says unknown host

its says failed to connect to server unknown host instantly after hitting join

look in the consol . to se if server is up and running.

it can take a few minutes when its a new server.

if consol shows blank. try and switch to the legacy interface . and click consol again.

it does have lines of messages but nothing saying mincraft server

hmm try and restart the server. and keep a eye on the consol. for when it stops moving.

also what did you pick in this section of basic settings.

in this picture i chose paper as a example. can be a modpack . or forge. neoforge fabric and other options.

yeah we have chosen the correct modpack

hmm dont get much from those consol pics. do you get a log . you can find that via the ftp as well.

via ftp you can find them here. there can also be a nother folder called crash reports

hmm k . seems the modpack is not loading up corectly. Try and delete the server . then set it up again. with the modpack from the dropdown list you want to use. and start it up. and try and join. before uploading the old world

if the world starts up. and you can join it. then log off. close server. and move over the world folder from your saved game. and try and start server up with that world.

sadly i have to log off for tonight. as i have to get up in 7 hours. will be back on discord again in about 11 hours from now.

we reset the server and we can join with no issues with the standard modpackl

k then upload the world folder. from old save to server. . remember to turn off the server when doing this. and pick the world name in basic settings . and save restart.
